As with any exercise trend, there are always benefits and drawbacks to jumping on the bandwagon. Given that virtual reality is more of a platform for different types of exercise than a form of exercise in-and-of-itself, it should be considered a generally safe and reasonable option for those who want to.6 hours ago · There is also an emerging community around VR fitness, from YouTubers posting their BoxVR and Beat Saber workouts, to a website called the Virtual Reality Institute of Health and Exercise.Virtual reality makes exercise more enjoyable and less difficult, according to a new study published in the British Journal of Health Psychology.
Authored by.Is Virtual Reality the Future of Exercise? By Harrison Edmond April 11, 2020 There’s probably not a person on this planet who hasn’t wanted to escape their reality in the middle of a tough workout. This is one of the reasons we believe VR is the future of Fitness.
One of the most exciting things about BoxVR as a form of exercise is that it is adaptable it can both complement existing training regimes, and provide people with an entry into exercise that is both fun and engaging.Virtual reality is being used to help those struggling with addiction. During a therapy session, the headset places patients in realistic virtual situations that help them work through triggers of.Virtual reality is a technology that enthusiasts have been excited about for decades.
But despite some amazing advances during that time, it’s still failed to catch on as a mass-market.”Virtually reality exercise is a really, really good at being able to distract you from the fact that you were exercising and letting you just enjoy the game,” said Stanton. Nausea can be a problem. The virtual reality of the future will involve more than headsets and game controllers; it will be much more physical.
Where virtual reality has catered to the visual senses since the beginning, the experts are expecting virtual reality to become more sensory oriented in the future. By introducing better touch controls, virtual reality will.It shows that virtual reality exercise games makes you fitter and also reduce the feeling of pain and effort while exercising. These studies prove that VR Fitness works, and they encourage people to exercise more.
In addition to this, as we sit and discuss the reality of VR, workout games, VR exercise games fitness, companies like –.Using virtual reality in exercise training is fairly novel, therefore, the science behind it is not yet well researched. Some theories have been suggested as to how VR may reduce pain perception, but the overall mechanism is still largely unknown.Virtual reality may be the future of fitness, according to a survey commissioned by FitXR, a pioneer in VR fitness. The results reveal that many with VR headsets are turning to virtual reality for.
The Future Of Virtual Reality Fitness Games At Home. July 23, 2020. Source Daily star. Lockdown has been wild for all of us.
Routines have changed drastically off course as all have to find new ways to carry out our regular schedules. I’d had a New Years resolution of hitting the gym three times a week which was going very well; until it wasn.Virtual reality is actually already here in a number of genres, including the adult industry. In fact, it is in the adult industry where this technology is having the biggest impact.
Given the potential for VR in the gaming world, you wouldn’t think this to be the case at all, but it seems that is the way the ball has rolled.Virtual-reality-meets-exercise integrations also inspire reluctant exercisers. Preliminary research shows VR helps us overcome self-defeating voices and makes us feel likely to succeed (a critical factor in keeping with fitness goals). Valentine’s Day gift guide 2018: her. Vr chat tho it has a wide market and there is a wide us and group that talk and interact with each other
I miss that feeling of wow from VR, you sort of get used to it. Im very impatient to get higher res and wider fov. But thinking of how amazing it will be when I’m 50 is pretty cool. Must make it to 50 just for VR.
This is the most dangerous technology in the world. This is the Matrix!! Not AI!!
This is what can actually be used to enslave people into a cheap Virtual Reality by letting Real Life experiences cost really expensive.
If we look around we are heading reading into this direction… Where the corporations want to profit on human beings through technology as much as possible and they will use VR to make people as much profitable as possible.
People will literally be transformed into a Commodity to be traded in the Global Economy!
Everything will be run by robots and everyone will be hidden inside their rooms in the VR to provide profits for the Money-Making Machines of Wall Street and it won’t be fun.
(Welcome to the desert of the Real)
Man that breathing got a lot heavier when that girl came on stage.
People could make the future better by using VRand to make games in VR
awitch to 10 mins in…yeah…and the flipside?…Lawnmower man soldier….
Build a chip for the brain where we can turn it on, and we will instantly pass out in real life, and in our conscious we take on our character in the game and feel all of everything.
China is investing 687 billion dollars, every year in AR and VR. More than US, Japan, South Korea, Germany and U.K. combined all together.
It is going to change education and the way we teach for ever. Wait for the surprises when you can use it on large screens in your home or buildings, streets of towns very soon. It is already happening in China.
It’s very encouraging to see how far we’ve come in the 3 years since this video was posted.
Batman Beyond-Hooked Up
For more insight on possibilities of VR.
WRONG IT CAN REPLACE TRAVEL BECAUSE WE ARE IN AN ILLUSIONARY WORLD GOD HAS PUT SEXTILLION HUMAN BRAINS ON A SHELF ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO GO SOMEWHERE IS IMAGINE IT USING A HIGH TECH VR HEADSET!
This would make it more real:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YP3Z58zNHuU
Poor dude was nervous shot I feel bro gg though good presantation
It’s going to be a scary yet wonderful future.
What happens when things are so real and exciting that people prefer it to real life?
Makes me sad and sure God’s heart is broken because his creations are all around you and so beautiful but people want to escape the world he created for us and all the human exspiriences… man made the world to where you would want to escape it.. just sad…
This guy breathing like he just ran a mile and came on stage to talk about virtual reality
coudl we just focus on full body tracking? if there are games, where you can use your entire body, i’m sure there will be many options!! (imagine dance dance revolution mixed with beat saber!)
All the things he has said has come true. I love playing the moon landing simulator in VR! They’ve just made a platform on which you can walk in the exact same spot without moving in real life so now you can literally walk and run anywhere in VR making the game 100% immersive. You can now look anywhere you want, pick up any object you see and walk or run anywhere in the game as if you were in real life. The next thing we need to conquer is being able to interact with things within VR more physically like we have with walking, for example, being able to sit down on a chair within VR and real life. We are literally able to live in the matrix already and I’m so excited to see how much further we can go into it. The future is here!
The education part he says at the end is the future of education, he is right in saying disruptions will be drastically reduced and the students will be 100 percent engaged in learning. This is something teachers have been trying to do for decades. It eliminates the boring classroom and invites an interesting and engaging new world.
all AAA games will support official 3D VR mod
with standart xbox controller
I play Skyrim VR on Htc Vive Pro Wireless everyday, and it’s f*cking awesome.
Can’t imagine how great VR will be in 10-20years..!
By the way, great presentation, well built.
These sorts of speculations are far too conservative and unimaginative. Once fully immersive VR is in your brain via Neuralink technology and this is connected to a quantum computer driven cloud it’ll surely be possible for the individual to create and explore their own (or others) worlds for both entertainment and enlightenment. Just imagine any place and you’ll be there. Desire any form and ability and you’ll have that too. The experience of information will be reduced to it’s most malleable form making anything imaginable absolutely real. Just extrapolate from the development of Second Life and open world games and the future is pretty clear.
I’ve had some amazing experiences on Playstation VR and I highly recommend considering a purchase. Astro Bot rescue mission is to me as important as the original Mario and Nintendo 64 version that first went 3D.
You really have to try a few of the higher quality games available and once you do it’s hard to look back.
lol, VR was out in the arcades when I was still in school and we were expecting its console release back then, never happened. They just for whatever reason blocked the tech and are still trickling it out to this day. Doesn’t interest me to use it anymore anyway. When I was young I wanted to use it like other video games, to replace not being able to do anything fun in actual reality. Now it would fail to satisfy that requirement as I know way more than I did when I was in that age band back in school days.
Peripheral vision (100%) very important… So is a full body suit.
My experience with VR so far has been amazing and I definitely plan on investing into it more!
VR Failed hard at gaming, maybe VR Movies is the next thing?
Maybe intelligent aliens on other planets have built their own virtual worlds, and are all living in them for eternity.
It would be great, but you would still have to get some sleep and eat, piss…
How will we feel like we’re moving around while we’re laying there???????
Am I the only one that noticed his breathing increased when the girl got on stage? Dude is nervous hahahaha
I have talked about this frequently on the VR Show, VR tech is only going to continue to improve…the curve line will just continue to slope up and each of us will eventually latch on…for us early adopters we hopped on early but for others its going to take time for the tech to improve further and get cheaper…for some its mostly cost…others it may be they are still too bulky etc. However, i believe strongly we will eventually get most cynics on-board when their variables are matched.
It’s not an obvious reason why the military is funding these anti-PTSD things. Why would the military be economically interested in helping the people the military no longer needs?
I need 5G and my head set them I’m retiring for ever..
I love Trump and his crew
Who would have thought that out of the two brothers from West Coast Choppers this one was going to become a total tech genius!
How do I get involved?! I have been doing some research and have amazing way to promote this and to use it for entertainment and things like helping people that have lost limbs experience what it is like to maybe walk again. Are there anything in England were I can put forward ideas?
There is no future in virtual reality. The American people despise it, and will only hate it more day by day into the future. The people who are currently using it begin to desire to leave it and never return. Knowing they are being laughed at everywhere they go. It is real reality as God made it where the world is heading! The sickness of virtual reality leaves America and the world for good! Technologies do not make the people happy any longer. It is small town America and the values there that do. Ethics, moral, principles, integrity and a persons character are what bring all people everywhere happiness day by day, more and more. Virtual reality, vieo games etc.. leaves the world, and the people REJOICE!!! Praise be to Jesus Christ forever and ever!
I bought the Oculus Rift some days ago and used it for hours at a time. The experience was amazing, “out of this world”, and it was really cool to experience all kinds of virtual dreams from flying a space ship in the simulated Milky Way to racing cars in realistic environments to solving puzzles on a paradise island etc. But the more I used the headset the more I felt depressed and even a bit sad about using it. I can’t properly put it into words but it has to do with noticing how that seems to be just another attempt to escape what is. An escape into a kind of a void. And in my experience any form of escape does not work but just glosses over the primal sense of loneliness and emptiness that drives this “automatic” impulse to escape from that primal sense/feeling.
I ended up returning the headset back to the store and I’m actually really happy that I did. The addiction potential is huge. It seems that the more the technology evolves and the more people spend time in the grid the more difficult it will be to get off this digital drug called vr. And at some point, when consciousness will be able to be uploaded to the grid/net it will probably be impossible for most to even remember that there is such a thing as what is commonly called baseline reality. That’s tragic to me.
someone will need to design a multi-directional treadmill to go with sandbox games. If they ever make it good enough, Hogwarts is gonna be the new Nirvana
Virtual reality okay, but… in reality I don’t think that girl is wearing knickers.
I know many people want to use VR for the entertainment purposes but its real value is in education and its ability to immerse the student in engagement, something all the best educators strive for.
I remember my first Vr experience, it was in 1994 in London, in an arcade where they had this huge machines you had to put on. The graphics were extremely simple but it blew my mind completely. I just had to wait 23 years to live that experience again. Of course, now is much better but that 94 experience marked me for life.
I remember when handsfree first came on the market. It was weird af. It’s so even today many years later.
It was so funny when the person from the audience put the VR glasses on and jumped because of the surprise she saw.:D At least in terms of comedy VR definitely has the future videos of people experiencing VR (especially for the first time) are really funny!
I’ll say it now.. none of these wearables will ever work. What you need is some sort of electrode sensor and stimulater. Put on like a watch and induce electro stimulation.
People are going to flip their lids when they experience merged reality, in real time, without a headset… Only requires the brain be sent the ADDITIONAL information remotely, and their reality then has more integrated into their everyday life, VERY COOL STUFF..
Maybe there will someday be small omnidirectional treadmills, so you can walk freely in the vr-world!
its pretty cool where vr is heading in the future.. it becomes an amazing tool for a lot of things.
Hardware is great but really need more developers making AAA quality games. I can think of soo many games that would be great in VR.
Yo this is cool but I’m pretty some sword art online shit would happen in the future when there’s fulldive VR
the future gonna make fun of these tech just like how we making fun of the brick size phone back then
im hoping that when im in my 40s i can walk in to my dark ac cooled room, put on my vr skin so i can feel heat touch coldness, activate vr lens inside my eyes, hop on a threadmill of somesort, And hop on online white my vr friends and start having the time of my life escaping the from reality.
Imagine a VR tech so immersive, so advanced that we could have a custom life that lasts for years in the VR but merely a couple of hours in real time. And we would not know the difference. What if we are in it right now?
Why do game developers still think, that car doors protect you from bullets?
What will the future look like in virtual reality? And in AI?
https://www.caesarvr.com/news-since-2013/what-will-the-future-look-like-in-virtual-reality-and-in-ai
If you want a new perspective on future tecchnologies, then take a look at the HAL exoskeleton technology where they use your signals from the brain to move robotic limbs through a receiver on your spine/back. That application can certainly be used towards games if modded, and it works while you move and lying still by THINKING that you are moving. Here’s a link to their homepage https://www.cyberdyne.jp/english/products/LowerLimb_medical.html and when you understand their technology there is certainly possibilities for the gaming industry, awesome stuff!
This is a pretty stupid video. The future of VR is most importantly: 210 degrees FOV, 240hz refresh rate, comfort and lightweight (under 250 grams) and 16K per eye resolution along with Foveated rendering and better inside-out tracking.
Where’s the smell-o-vision and a thing to spray scented water in my face like in that Avatar ride at Animal Kingdom.
Imagine if people didn’t think that google cardboard was all that VR had to offer
I ain’t fucking with the haptic vest I be getting nervous about getting shot on cod without one a haptic best will really fuck me up
4:45 not loosing only a life but tens of millions of dollars
Right now its a niche within a niche yes however I’ve got a good feeling that with the rise of quest buyers there will be more demand for stuff like this which inevitably will lead to producers making this a reality
You know Aperture, I really appreciate what you put on this platform and how much effort you put into it, and for that I thank you
ultimately virtual reality will be best when it is fed into your brain through a cortical implant. That way you can walk around without ever having to move. You think it, and you move in VR
Fine, I’ll do it myself. Full dive virtual reality will be my invention unless Elon Musk beats me to the punch.
In the future while playing an advanced full range VR: Athletics increased to 100
We can barely work tvs imagine the accidents with this . We wont see this in our lifetime lol
VR shoes, VR gloves, Sensors on your Left and right Wrists, Upper Arms, Ankles, a FULL VR Belt so the tracking know your exact hip height, and angle, That would make you have FULL control of your VR body. Imagine being able to kick stuff around, in Boneworks, with real foot motions.
Our only chance to see the nerve gear in the near future would be artificial intelligence
Some of those walking around ones, they have the right idea but aren’t doing it right, instead of a big experience set ups, have something that straps to your feet with balls on the bottom that roll around, so it feels like you’re walking on ice, as well as straps you wear like a parachute harness, connected from a bolt in your ceiling, or if that’s not an option then a steel frame (yes, which would be big, but still cheaper), just something to stop you from falling down.
4:50
Aaah yes, the characteristic vibration of a Bullet to the chest.
“The only thing missing is the crotch attachment.”
I can only imagine what else can happen with haptic feedback other than someone botching the crotch.
If they manage to make a VR treadmill that lets me walk and run naturally (I dont like the current solutions), then I think VR will be the best thing ever. Imagine working out for 3 hours while playing your favourite RPG? Damn, I would pay like 20k € for this.
Every is good but what about disabled people think abt that also.
I’m a industrial design student and i’m developing an omnidirectional treadmill that does not use electricity, I hope to have a prototype in the next 18 months, but this type of project is more difficult to conceive here in Brazil
i own the katloco and bhaptics, if you have the money bhaptics delivers and works right off the bat, katloco is a horrible turd, it never worked for me
My name is Thomas Michalski I am the creator of Virtual Reality, and all concepts and designs are mine and is copywritten protected by what is known as The Meta Physical World and creation of Virtual SpaceTime,or Virtual Space that imparts the physical world by the tri lateral 5 d god gene Algorithm or what is called Inn Time V R that reciprocates highly rebounded ultrasonic resonat[e] harmonic waves of natural disapating a type energy of our time or normal effects of aging to maintain rebounding functions of constant energy to keep in constant relational Exsistence of both technology as one from our point of dementional being to buffer real from replication in a real type of V.R. VR treadmill or a giant robot arm that grabs you and moves your whole body around realistically with full-body tracking taking care of the movement translation in-game?
imagine playing The Last of Us with VR. Getting hit, shot, bite by infected, cut by knifes, feeling the snow, the rain, feeling the water when you swim, when you hide under something… I’m 27 years old, I hope I will enjoy a very advanced VR in the future. I hope in the next 30 years at least
The Cyber Shoes are interesting. They could remove the chair and add something around you.
It’s crazy I had a dream I can’t forget in this virtual world. It had all these different rooms inside there were live concerts of every genre life sporting events where there were so many people. I was in a hotel room I went outside to the balcony and I found millions of balconies fool of people having fun with there friends watching a sporting event. I went into this tunnel it turned out to be a sky scraper slide with the view of a whole virtual world. I Jet packed down to my friends who were waiting for me beach side
Personally I don’t believe actual walking in game is too important. Sure it increases immersion, but it’s work, so not everyone will be into it. I think the priority should be software development. Amazing software gets developed and it draws a crowd, then better hardware will be developed, and so on. Eventually I expect to see a few high level devices that run things. They could be ar and vr capable, and essentially glasses. Light and comfortable. But odds are that companies will keep ar and vr separate for capitalistic reasons, so maybe the VR devices will not be so sleek, but definitely sleeker than current tech. Whatever happens it’ll be fun to experience.
I would prefer to play AR if they would just develop that more. The Hololenz is a grand idea, but they need to make it commercially available to the everyday consumer. A lot of people could get out and exercise, especially in wide open spaces like parks. Have the technology on your face, not on a stupid phone, having to hold it up in front of you, not fully aware of your surroundings.
Can’t wait for capitalism to actually make this stuff affordable
1:20 can someone tell me how this magic works?
How the hell do you have an “infinite” floor, without even a single fold in what looks like a cloth?
I think everyone will have the whole VR kit at home in a few years. Just guive some time to the debs and the market.
If everyone eventually lives in these fake worlds who will maintain our world how will we progress to space let alone perform repairs on these systems if we continue to engage in escapism because some hate or are afraid of this world we will fail as a species everything is good as long as its in moderation
My favourite games this generation r BOTW Mario odyssey and God Of War and Uncharted.
Half life alyx is nothing compared to any of these games.
With VR, I doubt even in fifty years we will reach the level fun these games hv.
Is there a transcript of this video? I’m hoping to show a friend who would need CC to view this video.
You can tell this guy cares more about making money than anything else. Not so much how can we qualitatively improve and enhance the lives and experience of human beings…
Everybody *hyped because of this*.
Me: has been playing God in my lucid dreams for the past 2years
The mix engineer needs to put a gate on his vocals, the breaths cut right through
i think the treadmills are affordable but we need them at scale for cost for gloves i like the valve index but the main problem i think is to handed items as most thing you hold take 2 hands which is hard also we will have haptic vest of course so you can actually be scared of getting shot because in games most people dont care about death but maybe that will change when dying actually hurts
Ah the future, where we pay to feel getting virtually shot in the face
And then there is Neuralink which is gonna change the whole gaming world you will live the game literally unlike trying to simulate a game no You will live a game
Willing to bet that the treadmill and the haptic vest/glove problems will be ironed out by 2025
10 years…
I’ll be 28. Hmmm.
Well. I’ll be really excited when this advances to the point where crippled people won’t have to move a limb to control their avatars.
I like the haptic gloves. honestly i wish they’d just make a controller using the haptics magnetic hand tracking.
i think we will have brain controlled vr games that can be played from our beds within the next 10 years. conference meetings could also take place this way:)
Awesome video! Learnt some new things:D
Also what’s the last song you played during this video? sounds like something cyberpunk but I want the exact song:D
interesting to see the old connect camera does full body tracking….. i wonder what the new ps5 camera might do……
Any haptic suit needs to have full body tracking or it’s not worth it. I just got into vr and I’m kinda hooked. I’m wondering when people will begin working in things like manufacturing with vr for full time jobs
easy just have good balance and make a shoe that is frictionless so we can do the moon walk while literally walking normally jogging or just running in real life but the shoes would make you stay in the same place.
The moon walk shoes VR.
My idea.
People trying to create a vr within a vr simulation. Amazing.
I hope haptic suits work on psvr since most people can’t afford a PC setup and the headset or the headset alone plus psvr is less work
All trash, VR is so far behind it’s pathetic. I have a solution that would be mind blowing but I sure ain’t saying shit without getting paid. It’s not cheap either.
PEOPLE WAKE UP!!!! This is so sad that you people “need an escape” wtf like from what?????? GO OUTSIDE OUR EARTH IS BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!! you people make me sick. we all need to go outside and realize our earth is dying we will soon go with it. PICK UP TRASH STOP BUYING SHIT TECHNOLOGY AND PLASTICS!!!!
Everything is to Bulky and who the hell wanna do a 2 step hustle to walk in a game the treadmill is the best but who’s buying that
One day just by their thought people can move in all directions in vr and it’s going to be possible by neuralink people will play in their dream.
What do you guys think about VR in hospitality industry? Like what is going to change and happen after this pandemic?
Imagine if you could eventually tell who used vr for games and people who don’t by how fit they are
what if we could use a vr app that controls a robots mechanical movements, so like iron man but without actually being in the suit
i think vr needs modularity for upgrading. htc needs to take advantage of the faceplate to add future features however there should also be lens interchangeability for upgraded resolutions you can add computing power as a faceplate as well if you added wireless functionality. other additions that would help is better control types such as sensors replacing controllers with finger tracking via adjustable rings with ir senders that can be charged wirelessly on a pad like phones can which would allow breath ability in comparison to gloves and more universal fit for consumers. in my opinion VR has a marketing problem in comparison to traditional gaming and with better marketing could help see it’s adoption rate increase dramatically. they should also take advantage of physical retailers and show the features to increase the probability of everyday people to buy it perhaps utilizing video kiosks explaining the features of each model after a certain amount of time.
2040? Ya thought lmao. 3040 more like it (2040 maybe when elite liberals own the parent and able to pay 20-200million)
Interesting.
In fact, Yuval Harari said that all of us would only play VR or AR games when we don’t need to work.
For more information, you may watch my video regarding neural link in my channel.
I’m just happy to be old enough to know how far VR has come but young enough to be able to enjoy it. I remember about 30 years ago, I went to a county fair where some tech company had set up a tent with VR equipment, available for people to try, $15 for 10 minutes. The headsets were bulky and heavy, using CRT displays. It looked like crap. Even my phone did VR better. But I have to wonder if that early attempt had anything to do at all with the development of what we have now. Because despite the room for improvement, I still very much play my Oculus Rift as well as my Acer WMR. Along with my Vive trackers, its easily some of my most used and favorite equipment. Hell I even like to use my VR-Tek WVR1 and that technically is a low tier HMD but it works just fine for racing and flight sims or just shooting the shit with my friends in VRChat when I don’t wanna go dancing.
Im sure that once we have something like nervegear we wont innovate anymore in this sphere(other than quantum computer tweaks). Everyone will join.
Also I wonder how innovators and developers of tech think when they see this. Our demanding for this must be to heavy for them. Too much.
In the end we still have the same goal.
Full dive vr might be closer than you think, give it another 2 years
So just for some of my hopes for the future of vr, I expect a slightly bulky vr glove with simulated finger resistance and haptic feedback to start to make its way to the mainstream vr crowd in two to five years possibly even starting to be shipped as the default controller. I would expect haptic vests to be the expensive add on at about the same time. And full body tracking might become more affordable by then. Then for a solution for treadmills and such I don’t expect to even start coming for consumer use until a decade or two.
Im just waiting for the day we can have something like nerve-gear from sao
i want verve gear in about 50 years or less or more i do not know
What is the purpose of making a super realistic VR anyways? Why play a VR shooter if you can just go to the shooting range in real life?
If full immersion vr is ever created I’ll just leave the real world.
Forever
It’s around year 2039. Full VR will be invented like “ready player one”
Imagine being BORN into a Game..this game is called Life and when its over you are judged by the way you treated others etc
The treadmills and haptic suits are like dk1 now! I wait until the oculus rift comes
I stop living if I was able to play a game like SAO, and I’m not the one!
My thought? No revolution in the VR industry before 2024, 2025..
VR can’t die. It can only go to sleep until tech advances far more, enabling companies to produce far superior VR than what it is today.
I want my mind, memories, and spirit put into a computer so I can play video games and experience technology forever.
I think of a far future where is not sustainable to have a body, with an Earth overflooded with humans. Brains in tubs, id numbers, simulated consciousness, and every nervous terminal connected to an inmense VR game of “life”. ¿Who will pull those switches? The whole sense and joy of living a life in this universe is that it has no sense at all! But the human will change, control, manipulate that sense entirely. We drift more and more away from reality… social media, tv, vr, you name it.
Its a really sad thought… and that’s real for sure.
PS: I apologize for my grammar, and english in general.
I think you underestimate how fast tech moves I think by 2030 vr will look real also brain implants will be public by then
can we just agree that SAO is physically impossible and not ever going to happen?
Here is a video you could watch in Virtual Desktop in SBS. Im addicted to stereoscopic gaming and VR. There is nothing cooler! There are many ways that people just dont know about. Im recording these videos often. Need more editing done.

I feel like this guy has a very good view of the future of VR. Most people say “one day all video games will us VR. VR is the future of gaming!” and although I must admit it has potential…it will not take over like that. VR is sort of it’s own type of gaming…I say this because when people start getting excited about every game being in VR they forget third person games exist! You can’t really convert them into first person VR games without losing a huge part of it.
So cool, I love VR. Let’s all buy VR so we can accelerate it’s adoption and become as common as GPUs. It’s already the 21st century.
One of the Vive Higher Ups claimed that ready player one will be in 7-10 years ready
2040s Isa pipe dream. I work in this industry, having an SAO or Matrix in 100 years would still be a miracle.
You know, the best thing VR could do is increase its accessability. Like the wii remote, a masterpiece, you had to physically point the controller at the screen to perform certain actions or just shake the controller in a certain motion. Currently VR just feels very clumsy and you can easily hurt yourself if you dont have the room to play with it. Something like “Full dive” would fix(which is a long road ahead) this issue. The only way i see VR getting popular is being able to do more stuff without being able to hurt yourself. A great example is VrChat. While its very limited in terms of movement(only your hands, head, and speaking)it still feels like a great experience because the main point of the game is “chatting”, which you dont have to do crazy movements for. I just dont see myself going on a treadmill like in Ready Player One being realistic… its very easy to fall over with something like this and playing a video game should be far from deadly… The only time we’ll notice VR is when its made a HUGE jump from just chatting to being fully emersed in a game
We have learned everything from nature. We have always been in the womb of nature. We do not know anything to create our own reality. This is what Jesus Christ said to Nicodemus, a pharisee that you must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven. You need to be born of the spirit to have eternal life. The lord Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. This is the lesson of life:
Better is a little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble with it. Proverbs 15:16
If you don’t learn this lesson then you will never understand why the world is the way it is. If a man has the whole world but has not love then he is nothing.
Yeah… All the people “dreaming” about full dive-like tech systematically ignore one factor. Hackers. Saying “bump up the security” is naive as anyone versed in bypassing security measures (locks, anti-viruses, etc) will tell you that those security measures only help at keeping honest people out. The most they’ll do to “deter” individuals who have the knowledge, means and will, is slow them down.
The best case scenario is that with the ability to plug your brain to the net, you allow some guys from certain communities (Anonymous knows who I’m talking about) the opportunity to delete a bunch of people’s ability to see IRL. For example. As a “light prank”.
More nefarious people could easily mess up a person to the point of causing irreparable damage or even death.
And then there are corporations… What do you think they would do to your brain if they found out they could tweak a few things in it?
Full dive is unlikely to ever be a thing, because it would be too easy to exploit in unethical ways. This is not something that can be solved by time or tech. The ability to “read” the brain on its own raises ethical flags but giving the ability to “write” information to the brain in any way opens you up to severe risks. It is borderline suicidal.
The haptics tech is starting to catch up quite nicely tho. Vests, gloves, etc is showing lots of cool and usable new ideas. We are not going to get SAO anytime soon unless ethical testing gets disturbingly off track
Wouldn’t a brain machine interface require the machine to be conscious? Due to panpsychism?
I wish I could skip forward like 20 years to see the new stuff they’ve made
What do you think of the kat walk C and it’s price. It starts at $799, which is relatively cheap compared to other omnidirectional treadmills.
Elon, why did you trap 10,000 people in a 2 year long death game?
Elon: lol, I forgot.
No, no, no. Flat gaming is already immersive?! That’s like saying the penny farthing already has two wheels down why have a Yamaha motorbike?!
If I could afford a omni directional treadmill and I diddnt have to worry about sweat in my headset I’d be in amazing shape
The Hololenses 2 are amazing! And good start for the future of FullDive VR
Kat Loco is a good locomotive alternative and reasonably cheap.
Tethered VR is already dying. Mobile VR headsets that support PC streaming will take over when the technology is there, and most of those will also take advantage of AR. Right now there are headsets tailored towards each market, but I do not see that lasting very long. The line will be blurred.
What’s next is you lot being forced to eat virtual reality food as a diet plan. In fact in We Happy Few they take drugs. In VR Happy Few it’ll be AR masking of food discolouration and disgusting smells before they put you in a full VR with simulated smells and simulated tastes. Allah knows best what kind of trash they’ll be slipping into you like you slip that trash down the river into the sea.
Nice video I also think that they should make it so that people with epilepsy can play because my friend have it and he is apparently not aloud to go in he hasn’t had a seizure in years and he wanted to play beat saber at my house but he cant unfortunately. People with this condition are missing out on a lot of fun so if vr companys can find a nice stable safe way to combat this they should.
Want to immediately improve VR gaming? Simple upgrades! Universal input jacks, which allow you to import any video or game console into the headset! Then we will have XBox and PlayStation quality graphics and games immediately!!!! Who cares if we start out using their existing controllers? Graphics and content are the real issues!
This is all true but “soon” we’ll have some new stuff like vr skin and katVR vr tredmils wich wouldput us in a more well simulatrd environment that would be the next step
Once you have 100+ hours locomotion feels natural. 400 hours in and I’m out of games except Pavlov so that’s another issue but I have high hopes
2 years ago I bough my own psvr, the experience was very great however it took most of my time away from what was important to me, my grade was falling, I read less book, did less exercise, most of my productivity was reduced. It took me a lot of courage to sold my psvr and PS4. I think it is a great technology but when the Vr become too real, many people will lost sense of real life. And don’t tell me it is depend on person, no it is not depend on person, everyday we are consuming by technology and we aren’t fully aware of it yet. We need to have a balance in life, still I’m looking forward to what the future hold for vr.
Am I the only one that is jealous of 5 years olds because they will probably be alive for nerve gear?
I know I’ve been lost in VR many times, but not really feeling like it’s real life. It’s hard to explain, but it’s a great feeling LOL
Just glad google didn’t buy oculus. The vr dream would habe died then and there.
5gMobilez.com, 5gVrHeadset.com and 5gVrbox.com domain names is available for sell they are so suitable, powerful branded super premium perfect domain names for you to be a king on these ranges buy them before some one elz visit or reply for info
So im 16 and in 30 years(if im still here) well all basically be robots and aging will reverse lol
The fusion of PC and mobile VR is coming likely next gen. I think Rift/Quest will blend into a single headset next gen and there will be focus on wireless connectivity both via 5G and direct wireless to your PC. Within 10 years I think we’ll be wearing sunglasses-style VR headsets and that’s when it’s going to completely take off and we’ll start seeing rooms dedicated to “holodeck” which VR brings. Eye tracking and wireless VR headsets will mean redirected walking is a possibility so people with sufficiently large enough rooms will be able to walk forever by tricking our brains into walking into circles despite feeling like we’re walking straight.

This video isn’t about what is next for VR its about the problems in existing VR are.
Wait for the psvr 2. That will be a step forward for the VR world.
The high demand low supply issue has been the biggest threat against VR so far in my opinion. Outside the US getting an headset from a direct seller rather than a price gouged reseller is way harder than it has any right to be, making a large market unwilling to spend the money into the medium
Yes because I always wanted to feel getting shot while playing vr
Elon Musk wouldn’t be too far off since he has a company called Neuralink that wants to integrate the human brain with artificial intelligence. That technology would be the basis for a headset that can read your brainwaves and to replicate your senses.
Elon Musk is also an anime fan so who knows, maybe he will…You can never tell what’s going on in his busy mind.
When Elon Musk finishes rocket travel, his Mars mission, and underground speedy cutaway cars a rent fast train travel railway enterprise. Hell get bored somewhere doing those and just freaking make a SAO. Oh and make cars too. Because when Elon Musk gets bored…
What will the future look like in virtual reality? And in AI?
https://www.caesarvr.com/news-since-2013/what-will-the-future-look-like-in-virtual-reality-and-in-ai
I don’t think if this is so beneficial as it sounds. It must be put into philosophical consideration toroughly before even attempting to make it an actual thing. What are the psychological implications of it? The social and political consequences? We already have virtual lives in social media and its caused massive bursts of anxiety and depression. How will the addiction be controlled? Are we sure a person can be able to put it down and attend their basic needs? And most importantly: why do we need this? Is the real world not enough? Is nature not satisfying to us? Why do we seek the empty pleasure of a world created by ourselves, that we can manipulate completely without troubles? Are avoiding something like a fundamental truth of human life? Don’t get me wrong: the idea gets me exited. Imagine having the opportunity to explore a simulation of an ancient civilization as if it was alive today, or being a real sorceress in a Tolkien-like world and it feeling like flesh and bone. It would be awesome, but there’s downsides of it, and we must consider if it’s really worth to put another barrier in human interaction because of fun and money.
Hey Aperture. My phone is bigger than 16×9 so when I watch your videos, they are all mini rectangles. Instead of having bars on top and bottom of the screen and keeping it 16×9, you can change the dimensions so that it’s formatted to whatever size it actually is (I’m guessing 20×9) and that way I’ll only have two bars on my screen. Please fix this for future videos:)
ok next is nothing at least not for games since no one wants to create the greatest games possible whats next at least for me would be the tech getting out there the gloves, the vr treadmills, the haptic suits, other wise its going to be better games which seems to be starting to happen but I think its only starting so far
what I’m guessing is going to happen for VR in within 20 years is VR treadmills finally available plus not too expensive then the gloves are going to come in then finally the haptic suits. and what about games? i say once we have at least 1 of the 3 available then the games will become better
The most realistic near future for mass market VR is wireless tether, full body tracking, and eye tracking. Standalone headsets will help capture the wider audience. Longer term advancements will probably include improved haptics, but this will require too much additional worn peripherals to become a casual standard. And beyond that I see minor brain interfacing to enhance control and interactions, but primarily only in terms of read rather than write. Writing into active conciousness is too far beyond us right now to make realistic predictions on. More subtle influences on mental state may come sooner, but would be something used in conjunction with existing VR techniques to gently enhance immersion, rather than entirely replacing and building a reality mentally.
AR whilst obviously powerful and set to take off once ready, I personally don’t see to be as “flawless” as I often see described. For augmenting daily tasks in a similar way to how people use a phone or digital home assistant, it’s very viable and has the potential to change how people live. But for entertainment it’s heavily limited to either casual distractions, organised events, or dedicated commercial spaces. For general gaming, the promise of “infinite levels” is far less appealing when every game will be stuck in the same sleepy retirement village or crowded city block the user might live in. Sure the game can attempt to procedurally re-skin the environment, but no matter how good the algorithm, it’s always going to be generic and samey. People already like to mock the idea of “looking dumb” playing VR games in the privacy of your own home, so doing the same in public around traffic, isn’t going to be any better received. There’s only so much a game can try to replace moving pedestrians with before it gets unconvincing. Delays and errors on the re-skinning process will severely hamper immersion. With no capacity for true level design, good narrative, or more in-depth gameplay mechanics, AR gaming will mostly be relegated to the same sphere as mobile gaming. The exception will be specially constructed commercial venues with specially tailored AR applications, but this is basically the equivalent of a high immersion futuristic laser tag, or “virtual theme park”. Will always be it’s own niche.
The most viable form of gaming for AR, would be something akin to an advanced form of Pokemon Go. Not something you play actively so much as something that you would have running during daily life, able to identify other players and integrate better into the real world geography without changing your overall behaviour too drastically. Games in this vein would frequently come closer to live action roleplaying with light virtual suplementation, than active gaming attempting to significantly alter reality.
Wouldn’t that be so sick of Elon musk if he started working on VR headsets they’ll be the best ones on the market, right away….
Unfortunately I guess there is still about 30-50 years before nerve gear
I also feel the free movement via thumbstick works just fine for now
1million, if vr headset hadnot gone sold out it would had been more…
Real talk phone to vr or ar the world around us if not then waiting is the opening
I want nervgear I want nervgear I want nervgear…….did it work
2 Games!! Yu-Gi-Oh and Darksouls VR. And people will say… ” it was the last time we saw him!”
Can I talk to him? I have so many questions and some thoughts that might help him
Do you watch the movie of Assassin’s Creed? That 7 axis robot arm is what I wish to have in a VR Arcade center. Get 4 side big fan to give wind feeling. player wear a tactile suit and gloves. Hard felts with lifting pillars create standing feeling while on air.
When the person is lifted too high, move down slowly while standing still, without any transition space.
so I have a question about the tesla suit, and I wanna hear your opinions on it, it is able to manipulate the muscles, so in theory couldn’t it be able to restrain the muscles while still figuring out what muscle is being activated and transferring that into game, thus allowing the suit to let you move in a game while your body stays still, SAO style? Also it can do all this while giving haptic feedback, so like a restraining boot suit essentially, couldn’t that be like the next step forward towards the full dive technology?
How do you think its gonna work going into a whole new world like sao
I don’t think many people are going to think about the missing gforces.
I bought a used HTC vive about a year ago for 1\3 of what the vive pro costs, resolution could be better and controllers could be a little easier to keep a grip of but I’m satisfied for the level of gr8 gaming I’m doing, unless something breaks (in which case I’d look at whatever used VR is in the same general price margin I bought the vive at if I couldn’t get spares cheaply enough) I’ll probably stick with that until wireless (ideally with a means to swap the rechargeable cells or run from a mains supply if needed) and\or we get some form of immersive haptic feed back, which I’d imagine with evolving battery technology that may become plausible even just inside the controllers, as well as full body haptic rigs.
SAO and the game H3VR are both about 50\50 of why I wanted vr for a while but naturally I had to put most of my budget into a pc to run VR for the foreseeable future.
cool. But why doesn’t a real VR headset? Come out and they are all a VR box for cell phones, Are very different
I would be happy just to reach ready player one level of VR technology
If someone can fuse VR and Lucid Dreaming together, Full Dive VR is created. If we actually started to study about Full Dive earlier when the question popped up, we could have Full Dive VR by 2022 AND it would be how we would want it to be. 2011 SAO came out and then the question popped up. 2011-2022 is 11 years of development. We would have it so soon!
That “VR life” is not going to work ever. Human body needs sunlight, energy that is in the nature, woman’ s body needs a child, there is a maternity instinct. I don’ t see a woman who is a mother spending much time in VR. If you spend four hours in VR the whole body becomes disoriented and there is no way to fix this. If someone would spend five months 8 hours a day in VR he/she would get seriously depressed, body would not be able to maintain it’ s normal functions the whole nervous system would collapse.
VR is going to work only for the short time gaming and porn and short presentations (like some conference stuff or new car model visual presentation etc.) It is going to get better for sure. Thank god for the way nature works, people will have a desire to go further and experience VR, but this desire is going to be crashed by the resistance of the human organism. I do play some games in VR for a short time span and I do like the concept and the idea of VR. But every time I feel like crap after.
The world is our real VR and there is no way to recreate it. It is too damn sophisticated, it created the brain for god sake, the brain can not recreate it maybe seemingly, but never in a real sense. There is the best VR for everyone out there and you don’ t even need any headset to experience it.
Who else wants to play sword art online even if they cant get out and die in real life
i’ve been using Kat loco for months, it’ the way to go, very very cool and cheap
This will break the and kill the economy because you have everything you could possibly want in Full Dive VR
As someone going through anxiety, i think that immersing in Virtual world can be dangerous. The act of mindfulness relies on the mind finding an anchor in the physical reality. Our brain is built that way. if the line between virtual world and reality is blurred then it would be much difficult for someone to cope with stress, fear, anxiety or depression.
Full dive VR. Use neuron impulses and ATP that’s going in our CNS translate in the VR realm and shut down the voluntary motor cortex.
There’s a third type of treadmill which uses rollers in a circle, called the Omnideck: https://youtu.be/wPffziOrE6Y
I’m also interested in the future tech of VR. Here’s a list I keep updated with all the equipment I know of in case you’re interested: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVrbPrONXiWu2p7zbIzfjaLVQPHqG34RT
High Fidelity? Nah man, VR Chat
Also “Why doesn’t everyone have VR sets” “Why is the VR market failing” They cost too much…
1. People are saying that one of problems to create full dive vr is stopping our muscles… but without killing us by disabling vital organs. I belive that solution is simple… make us paralyzed like real-life crippled people! Temporary
2. People are saying that delivering senses is the problem… but we dont have to feel everything from the start! Smell, taste, touching… would be nice to feel that but its not a must-have at the start! Just focus at creating something that actually works without jumping around the room like crazy person waving hands in the air!
I usually get laid because of vr
. I just let the girls try on the headsets and before she knows it am in her pants
why this video has not billions of views is beyond everything
Ok but the real question is: can we have sentual sex in VR
When the time comes of us not wanting to go back is the time matrix will become our reality and we will be reduced to an illusion.
High Fidelity Coin looked like it will be on the eos blockchain after all
I remember watching boss baby in 3d and seats tilted, wind hit us and water was sprayed on our face
Can’t AI build it for us? AI can have access to millions of ideas from doctors,Engineers, programers,
scientists etc….
AI can be the last piece of the puzzle we need to understand complex problems.
I think it would be better if advanced vrs are used only during our sad times and not everyday ✌
We should all build Quarantine-bots that work like humans, and we can walk around on the street with vr
Gabe Newl of Valve was talking about something like this becoming the next big thing can’t wait….
so if nervegear becomes a thing our brain could serve as a pc except 100 times better
I’m betting everything on the success of Virtual Reality’s integration to society.
Sometimes when i feel stressed out, i just put on my vr headset. It feels like traveling to a different country, hell even a different universe. This really helps me clear my mind and feel better. Its a way of escaping reality without leaving my home. I am really thankful that i live in times where we have this kind of technology
Imagine exploring planets with VR that would be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look at ready player one why can’t we use that idea for the movement problem
It’s kind of scary to consider the real possibilty ahead of us that, in 10 years from now, people could be switching from “real life” to these simulations. I used to play GTA V a LOT. I had the perfect life in that game, meanwhile my real life was a mess Naturally, I had no intention of leaving that simulation. It became much better than real life. So, if that happened to me with the games we have today, what will be possible in the years to come?
I really believe people (well, some of them) will switch to simulation type of realities. Not sure it that’s a good or bad thing yet, but that scenario will bring a lot of new concerns we’re not even considering to this point.
Were in a vr, image this that this reality we are experiencing a full life, but on the outside were wired in just for an hour of play time, this reality isnt real it’s a illusion like einstein said. Think about what they will have shortly in the future, these things will be possible to trick the brain. Rehab
The more realistic they try to make immersive environments and interaction the less realistic it becomes. You create somewhat lifelike movement ability with special platforms and shoes, you then need to address why standing on grass feels like standing on concrete. You give ability to grab things, you have to address why a person feels no weight even when dragging a heavy object. For people who want to sit, it would make sense to then make some kind of motorized wheelchair-based game for immersion. Something that tries to reduce the brain reminding itself it’s all fake would make sense as a starting point. Remove the senses to some degree by making some kind of robot suit as the platform to play the game. It can walk and grab things etc but when movement becomes limited due to the difference between the game and real life, it could at least be explained by the robot since its movements are not supposed to represent your movements exactly.
Just went to a dance party in space with people from all around the world with this tech. Is this not the future?
I feel sorry for all the progressives to escape reality in fantasy digital worlds.
Imagine when you die they take of the headset and ask “How was the simulation”
We are living in the most amazing yet scary time ever possible.
I got an oculus rift and the effects it has on you are strange. The first time I hopped in, I was pretty excited. I stayed in fairly constantly for some 6 hours, (I know, that’s a little too long) and coming back hour it felt extremely weird to pick up something and have it not snap to your hand like items in a game. I only got that feeling once, the first time I played, but it’s strange that 6 hour convinced my brain “this is how it works now”
When a reglious person woked up one day and realized that GOD is just a Asexual Intersex Being using VR, with the ability to create reality, out of “infinitly adaptabe atoms” to form any imaginable both “moving” and “still” forms. What do you think the religous person does next?
Would love to see a game that takes the outer world and translate it into the vr with different styles, for example lowpoly, allowing also outdoor use (with proper sunlight protection for the cameras and sensors) so you can freely roam around without bumping into things or getting the guardian up
VR in zero gravity will allow people to perfectly walk in one place
Ever had a dream within a dream within a dream?! Yeah, we live inside russian dolls of realities. As species advance they create more artifical realities all the while leaving their own “base reality”. Thus, tis’ how it’s always been since forever. Gods, aspiring to be something more than mere ordinary.
Man making god in his image. God making man in his image.
Hey I would really like to do the caption for the videos in french that way more people can enjoy you’re amazing content I would not want to be paid just for the enjoyment of people
I am french and would really love too help you out.
Upvote so he can see please
Damn… 440k subs… I saw this channel when it was at 600 subs…
This amazing anonymous person is just a legend.
The visuals, musics, script and the edits really put me into a vr world ☺️
I’m just waiting for the day when someone who’s in their VR world becomes the Lawnmower Man and starts calling all our cell phones! I Am God here!!!
If everyone lives in the simulation, do some unlucky people have to sustain the OS from the real world?
I no joke lost my old account that I had this channel on and I just found your channel again after 2 months of searching and I am SO FUCKING HAPPY RIGHT NOW
Dude just wait untill the new quest comes out and every one can get a kat vr
That VR is pretty realistic. I can almost feel he’s breathing behind my neck
I recently received a VR headset as a gift and after using it just once I was astonished at the possibilities for this in the future.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Realistic OBSTICHALES!! Digitall REALITY….!!
Watching this video, the Holodeck comes to mind. Perhaps we are almost to that level. Another thing, TIME TRAVEL will be commercially available in the fall of 2028.
Dude, hate to be a hater but what’s the point of this video? I didn’t learn anything new. You’re just repeating the meaning of VR over and over, but each time using different words. This feels more like a paid advertisement than an educational video. It’s all just you talking about how cool VR technology is, for 12 minutes, with no alteration of purport. Officially your first video that I didn’t like.
I can imagine my grand-kids will be attending virtual school on Ludus some day.
Nuralink may give us new abilities like selective evolution. theoretically if we could tell or brains to change the way our D.N.A is produced and arranged we could essentially change and enhance parts of our body to the point were we would be able to choose our eye and hair colour, hair texture, if done to a child we could change the size they would grow amount of hormones they produce or maybe. even there strength speed other traits/senses. Hopefully this is the future of mankind.
Everyone: Advanced VR will come very soon.
Me: Oh That Means I Can Watch Anime In 3d Now
Rather than VR. It’s more of full-dive that I want. VR is cool and all. But it’s not the complete escape from reality that full-dive like SAO is.
Being able to to tap into, and send our consciousness into a virtual world where we have full control over a virtual body.
Like sword art online.
I know it’s practically impossible right now (AFAIK) and the technology for this isn’t really known/common yet but I just hope within the next 10, 20, 30 years. I could at least get a taste.
It’s one of my dreams during my life. I don’t want to die without getting stuck in an SAO world at least once!
And I already know that many MANY problems already arise with this. Sending our consciousness to a virtual world can be pretty dangerous and a very bad thing if abused or applied incorrectly (see SAO) but the possibilities are endless.
Imagine, if we can actually advance our technology far enough, beyond just sending our consciousness into virtual worlds, we could actually send our entire BEINGS into worlds. Something pops into mind.. hmm, that whole ‘we’re in a simulation’ craze that happened? But people could start civilizations and live in a completely separate dimension. We’d practically be creating different universes.
Of course, the whole issue would be the computing and processing power required to even create said universes and how we would even send our mind into a different world into a different body I have no idea but it’s a dream. It could be totally impossible. Or it could be totally possible. We don’t know yet. That’s the thing. As long as we don’t know, there is always a method where it’s possible. I just hope I’ll live long enough to see these advancements.
I honestly dont care about haptic crap, I’m already happy as can be with two controllers and a headset
“This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.”
There is something greater then virtual reality where you can do literally anything your mind can think of you can touch, feel, smell, and do anything you want there is almost no limitations
this great phenomenon is called LUCID DREAMING it’s when you know that your dreaming in a dream and gain your consciousness back then you will gain control of anything off the dream but it’s not easy you will need to put time and effort in to it to achieve a lucid dream I highly suggest that you search for an explanation of what it is and search for tutorials on how to do it there are some channels that learn you every aspects of lucid dreaming but i suggest Tipharot as the main channel for lucid dreaming it can be hard to achieve your first lucid dream but when you get it you will not regret it and after your first it will get much easier to lucid dream
Why did i think this was from Valve?
This was in my recommendations and i thought Valve was making another Portal Game but its in VR. I feel so stupid now
If/when this becomes a reality, I will be able to spend more time with my friends who live far away.
Talvez…nós já estejamos em uma realidade virtual. E ela acaba assim que morremos, dessa forma, voltando pra nossa verdadeira realidade.
Like in the Matrix… waking up and realizing that your awesome lifestyle is a lie and fake.
Sucks to wake up from your awesome dreams. Gotta admit. You hate it
The point of mobile VR is that it is MOBILE. one of the most immersion breaking feelings is getting tangled in a cord. It doesn’t matter if tethered has better resolution and processing. It can’t match being able to walk around without worrying about getting tangled
We did not do anything, it is all demonic and eveynight you go to sleep as unbelivers,YOU suck in more demon dose until you and your kind will join the death for the last time. You the one who created the presentation.from this moment to 1000 year.
Want full dive VR? Lucid dream. The 1st scientist to transfer lucid dreaming into tech will make full dive VR
I swear, his next video better be legendary cause I’m not used to waiting a month for his next video
If we could achieve a readyplayerone world in my lifetime that would be amazing, even if I had to rock it as an old man i would still play it
Does anyone know where he gets those clips? Im working in a College project and I need clips like those
Damn this video was good…both empowering and scary!
Keep up the good work mate:-)
> omnidirectional treadmills are neither cheap nor well executed
I mean. The Kat Walk C is promising. Walking on it looks pretty smooth, and while 1000 bucks ain’t cheap, their last one was 3k, and the one before that was 10k, so. Who knows how that’ll go.
This is what I want! 2039
Full immersion virtual reality
Computers are now sufficiently advanced and miniaturised that billions of them can be implanted within the brain. Advances in neuroscience, in parallel with these and other developments, have led to a new form of simulation known as full immersion virtual reality. By the end of this decade, it has been successfully demonstrated in a human volunteer.*
Though still in its early stages, and yet to become fully mainstream, this technology provides astounding realism and detail. Users now have the option of actually “being” in a game environment and experiencing its graphics, audio and other effects (e.g. tactile feedback) in a manner that is largely indistinguishable from the real world.
This breakthrough has been achieved through exponential trends in computing over the previous decades – including a billionfold improvement in processing power and price performance, combined with a 100,000-fold shrinkage of components and circuitry.*
For the first time, human brains are actually being merged with computer intelligence. Rather than viewing games on a screen, users can now experience the program from within their own nervous systems, as though it were an extension of their mind. A simple, minimally invasive procedure inserts nanobots (blood cell-sized devices) into their bodies. These microscopic machines are self-guided towards the neurons in their brain responsible for visual, auditory and other senses. Here, they remain in a dormant state, but in close proximity to the brain cells.
When the user wishes to experience a simulated reality, the nanobots immediately move into place, suppressing all of the inputs coming from the real senses and replacing them with signals corresponding to the virtual environment. If the user decides to move their limbs and muscles as they normally would, the nanobots again intercept these neurochemical signals – suppressing the “real world” limbs from moving, and instead causing their “virtual” limbs to move within the game. This means a user can be sitting in a fixed position, while experiencing a high degree of activity and movement.

Although most people are wary of microscopic nanobots, they have been around in some form since the 2020s (eg. for medical purposes) with few, if any issues. Many years of testing and safety measures have gone into this latest generation. Detailed regulations are being formulated to cover any possible eventuality. For example, power cuts mean the nanobots will simply detach from neurons – automatically returning a user to the real world – while checks are constantly performed to ensure there is no danger of being “trapped” in a virtual environment.
Furthermore, the machines are not permanent and can be removed at any time if desired. In any case, it is practically impossible for them to damage nerve cells or cause any lasting damage, due to their small size and limited functionality. In the coming decades, many people come to accept them as a natural part of their bodies – just as bacteria and other small objects are part of their stomach, digestion and other internal processes.
Full immersion VR isn’t just limited to games. With such huge creative scope, it can be used for a whole range of applications: from business to education, training, healthcare, engineering, design, media and entertainment.
Tourism is revolutionised, since people no longer have to travel great distances or spend large amounts of money to explore the sights and sounds of another location – they can simply go online. For this reason, a number of travel firms go bust in the 2040s, or else drastically alter their business models to account for this new medium.

Of course, that’s not to say these online holidays are intrinsically better than the real thing. Although on a different scale of technical wizardry compared to graphics of earlier decades, they are still somewhat limited in their accuracy of towns and cities. At this stage, many of them lack sufficient AI, are often sparsely populated, and miss out vital details or subtle characteristics of foreign culture… things which make real-life travel such an enriching, worthwhile experience. Decades of refinement will be needed before VR is entirely convincing.
Nevertheless, this new phenomenon is so profound in its depth of interactivity – as well as sheer convenience, accessibility and ease of use – that it presents a serious threat to old-line travel agencies.
One way that the industry adapts to this is by offering more detailed, advanced and sophisticated holiday environments, for a fee. However, this becomes only a temporary solution, as certain users find a way to pirate these programs, which are then duplicated and shared online. The problem is exacerbated by groups collaborating to form their own free/open source programs, which combine the best elements from these and others, and are easy to customise by the casual user. In some cases, “hybrid” versions of holiday destinations are created which offer wholly new, surreal and dreamlike experiences. One such example might be a recreation of Manhattan with a tropical coastline, populated by characters from Star Wars.
Just as the Internet caused a shakeup in the music industry, the same phenomenon occurs in the travel industry. From the 2040s onwards there is a marked decline in air travel and overseas holiday bookings. The effects of climate change are also playing a part here. Growing numbers of people are choosing to stay at home, with most communication and interaction done online. The same is true of businesses in general – especially with regard to meetings and conferences, which are increasingly being held in virtual settings.
Ideally have a headset that controls your brain to have a simulated dream world where everything feels real
This is something that will shift the life and history of humamkind
I’ll be impressed, when a physically crippled person can smoothly run in vr.

How do I see the Oculus Quest games on the TV screen?

Why pay for VR when you can just go to sleep and dream? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I love the clips of people using vr with their hands, they look so stupid
full dive vr will come true in 2022 technology is getting better twice as fast now here is proof and the Tesla suit already exist https://youtu.be/OEMa2-IVfyw
Where this will really take off is when they can simulate all of the 5 senses to the point where it blurs the line between what we think is reality and a virtual one. When it gets to that stage, you;re talking about a completely change in human civilisation and even evolution. Why bother with the real world when you can live in any reality you want to and with your friends/family? The only point of being in the real reality would be to eat/drink and go to work but even then, most jobs will be automated and if humans are working, it could be done in virtual reality.
They’re gonna look back on these clunky headsets in 10 years and laugh.
wont need a computer to have something like the osasis it will be all streaming
Ill be happy when this technology is in place. https://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2017/5/19/15667172/oculus-research-focal-surface-display-vr-comfort-eye-tracking this would also increase performance of vr using foviated rendering. I use VR sparingly because of eye strain. probably because of vergence-accommodation conflict. https://www.wired.com/2015/08/obscure-neuroscience-problem-thats-plaguing-vr/ Once Vr feels less straining and more natural on vision Id probably use it more.
I wanna play ALfheim Online so badly I can’t wait for all of this
I rather be put to sleep. Maybe have a century in game be an hour in the real world at least.
