Dear Maddie, I’ve been doing this exercise for a month & I think it works because my under bra bulge is gone and my arms feel firmer. In the first week my arms, chests & shoulders are so sore because the last exercise is killing me! And for the rest of the weeks I manage to gradually not take a break & try to really “hold for a second” to feel the burn . Fyi, I regularly do a 45 minutes cardio on stationary bike, and this is the only upper body/arms exercise I do. So, Thank you & I’m gonna start your 10 minutes toned arms tomorrow

There is not enough time given to switch sides on the side plank. For that reason, one side gets less of a workout.
I don’t usually comment but I’ve been doing this workout and other Madfit workouts for the past few months and I can proudly say that I have some guns on me! I saw the difference within a couple weeks of doing it and I genuinely look forward to working out now. I’ve tried chloe ting, pamela reif, and countless others but Madfit’s workouts are doable, enjoyable, and effective all at once. Also my lower body has really changed, I was flat but now I have pretty round glutes and toned thighs. For reference I use 10 kg for my upper body and 10-20 kg for my lower body

I absolutely love the dumbbell workouts! I was trying too hard to fat burn and burn calories with Chloe ting but I realized I need to keep my muscle and strength train since my gym is closed. I love the feeling of being sore and I was never sore during the Chloe ting 28-day program but I started doing madfit’s dumbbell workouts and strength training and I am sore every day it is such a good feeling. (I love Chloe ting btw I am just saying I realized her programs weren’t what I needed at the time not trying to compare or anything:).)

I really appreciate your work and always claim that u are the best ones in this field, but i must admit i do struggle to find motivation to do these exercises.. I sometimes feel intimidated by how unsophisticated and bad i look while doing them.. And when u do them,everything looks so effortless and easy! So yeah, that’s the biggest problem cause at the same time that is what inspires me to click on the videos but also what stopes me from going completely through them.. Is it only me? Been waiting to write a comment on this until I had lost weight. This is an amazing work out. Started doing it once but now I do it twice a day when I work out. I don’t exercise everyday but I walk a lot when I don’t. If you can’t do it at the beginning, follow the easy alternatives this video shows. And remember: all things are difficult before they become easy. Truth!

Thank you Adriene. I was turned on to your videos by my voice professor way over here in western Massachusetts! Yoga is sooo key to warming up for vocalizing. The vocal chords are teeny but very important muscles that need oxygenation and toning; to do it right it’s a whole-body effort, as they need support from not just the neck but the abdomen all the way down to the hips/legs/feet planting. Your videos have made it so easy to get into a safe vocalizing space. ❤️

Ma’am, my understanding is that your hips should actually stay as stationary as possible while doing the twisting exercise at the beginning of your video. That isolates your obliques, which are doing the lion’s share of the work there with that specific workout.

Shit even if you don’t try to excersize it’s still excersize I lost 26 pounds went from size 16 jeans to 14 jeans just swimming regularly I went from 197 pounds to 171 pounds and I’ve never been able to lose weight EVER and I’ve tried soooo many things I also have bad thyroid and that makes it Soo hard to lose anything and keep the pounds gone

Thank you for these moves! Both of my knees have to be replaced and its difficult for me to do traditional gym exercises. Had to turn to aquatics, but there’s not much posted for “how to” exercise in the water. Many gyms in NY with pools don’t provide or barely have aquatic sessions. So your on your own!

We’ve just recently had an above ground pool and I’ve been looking for some simple stuff.. I’ve been doing my own thing sorta since we had it installed. Plus earlier this year I had an accident at work and ended up dislocating my patella, bruising the bone and a torn ligament, I know sounds fun right? So it was great to have a low impact place for do some exercising. This video has given me some different stuff to try, thank you.

I remember being over weight as a little girl. my school used to give us free swimming lessons at the local high school for 2 weeks. I would drop ten pounds each time after those 2 weeks. so I know pool exercises work.

Can u believe that one and I live in hot sunny south florida near fort lauderdale n miami fl.I just need to lose this upper portion only of my belly. will these pool excercises do the trick n help me lose my belly? I’ve never consistently done yoga, enjoyed it or felt capable of it until I came across your videos! I’m a little more than half way through your 30 days at home session, and I’ve been wanting a little extra workout after those videos. This is my first time doing this one, and it’s so crazy that I started noticing a difference in my flexibility and strength today!!!!!!! Normally when I go from plank to slowly lowering down (before cobra) I usually collapse near the end…but today I pushed myself a little…and I was able to lower myself down slowly with control 3 times!!! It sounds so stupid but it feels like such a win for me thank you so much for your videos and your personality!! I’m hoping to include yoga in my daily routine even after this pandemic is over. Who knows, maybe eventually I’ll be able to do the crows pose or a headstand!

I attempted Chloe Ting’s 2 week shred challenge but felt it to be too much for me, so I opted for this instead and I feel like this is absolutely great for beginners (perhaps I felt this because I attempted the 2 week shred challenge for a few days) and I will continue doing this until I feel it is too easy for me.
My height: 157cm/5’1-5’2
My weight: 57kg/125lbs
My diet: I don’t follow any specific diet regime, I eat somewhat healthy (with a preference of an array of veges and fruits) but I still do indulge in a number of unhealthy foods but in moderation.

At around 5:10– 5:14, you’re talking about it being fine to either do those with the kettle bell in one hand or two hands, and then you mention being weaker on one side. Are you saying if a person is weaker on one side, it’s better to use one hand or both?
I have always been lazy and given up exercising about three days into a workout plan, but you are amazing!! I have worked out 4 days per week thanks to your workout videos and not once have I given up or cried, and that’s because you are so motivating. You don’t push us to the point where I feel rubbish about myself, you don’t blare fast-paced music, nor do you make us do tough exercises fast. I can not thank you enough, you have changed my life!
P.S. Everyone doing these workouts, keep going. You are strong, hardworking and you have got this!!
