Bare feet are better able to find stable, balanced contact with the floor, which is essential for standing poses. Shoes are clunky and inflexible and socks are slippery. Doing yoga with bare feet provides a rare opportunity to stretch and strengthen all the muscles in your feet, which can help support your arches and prevent foot pain.
Here’s Why An Expert Says You May Want To Be Cautious. By Georgina Berbari. Aug.
21, 2018. Yoga is traditionally done barefoot, and most yogis would probably cringe at the thought of wearing shoes.Having bare feet during a yoga session means stability when it means to balance exercises and contact with the floor. Also, working with bare feet allows for all the muscles in the feet to strengthen and stretch.
Practising barefoot yoga will help your foot arches if they are prone to pain. Going barefoot helps you achieve the pose the right way.The Joys of Bare Feet in Yoga. Let’s face it.
I’m not a big fan of bare feet. (Not mine, anyway.) Until I stepped onto the mat, I didn’t pay much attention to them. If you want to know the truth, I found my feet embarrassing. They were too small. Too pale. Too smelly.
Getting Bare At Yoga: First My Feet And Then Me. follow. Anne Samit 0 Followers. I was used to being in my bare feet by then, but I felt bared again with even just my calves on display. It was a good two years before I practiced in a cropped top. “You have to ground down in your feet to get out of your head, she said.Every so often, it’s a good idea to make your feet your primary focus through a whole yoga practice. Almost every yoga pose engages the feet and reflects their actions up through the body in a slightly different way.
How to do it? *Sit erect with your feet stretched out in front of you. Then, cross your legs so that each foot is placed under the knee. Cross the legs in such a way that the legs are tucked into the torso. *Elongate the tailbone, and firm up the shoulders.
Make sure the lower back is not arched. *Maintain the pose for two-three minutes. You always want to practice yoga barefoot so you can fully connect your feet to the mat and the earth, ensuring better balance and strength. Socks interfere with your.
If you’re flat-footed, your yoga teacher will encourage you to fan your toes to create an artificial arch and then set your toes down on the mat while trying to maintain the arch. The arch beds of your bare feet become your “shoes” in yoga. To help build a natural arch, set a small clean towel on the floor. All you do is slip on your Yoga Toes (use a little water to help them slide on if they’re too sticky!) and put up your feet.
If you aren’t normally barefoot, or your feet aren’t used to stretches (most aren’t!), take is slowly at first. Start with 15 minutes each day with your Yoga Toes.Since yoga is not only focused on restoring your physical-spiritual balance but also on getting you connected with nature, practice yoga in bare feet for maximum result.
All types of footwear and even socks can make you feel restricted. You need to ensure that your feet can adapt to the uneven surfaces. This will not only allow you to have a more relaxed connection with nature itself, but it will.Having bare feet during a yoga session means stability when it means to balance exercises and contact with the floor. Also, working with bare feet allows for all the muscles in the feet to strengthen and stretch.
Practising barefoot yoga will help your foot arches if they are prone to pain.Never do yoga in just plain socks, as they will not provide enough slip-resistant traction. If your concern, however, is over the feet of other participants, you may want to consider setting your mat up near the room’s door.
But it’s highly unlikely that you will detect the collective odor of bare feet. On the other hand, by sheer chance, you might end up next to someone with really malodorous feet. The teachers at Bare Feet bring a wide-range of knowledge to our community through special events and workshops. Thank you Adriene I have a severe ankle injury (L) side and my feet have suffered. I have no ankle cartilage and some ligament damage from 2 years ago. I am unable to point my left foot. Any suggestions. Apparently I have quite severe osteo-arthritis so there are multiple issues.
Hi Adriane good morning from corona ca this is my favorite video ever lol can you do moreeeeeeeeeeeee like these
My reason to work out my core/booty that isn’t toxic: So I can make a lil cave for my cat without my core and thighs getting tired after a few seconds because she deserves it
Had a pain in the arch of my foot from walking a lot at once and saw this video. Didn’t think it would do anything but just stood up and the pain is gone and my feet have never felt better!
I’ve been having foot pain for a few days and when I found your video and did this routine my foot felt much better. Thank you so much!!!
more closeups on her feet would have made the video more beneficial. however, i enjoyed it anyway.
Friend: This song is old
Me:Your mother is old but you listen to her
This was one of my favourite (if not my absolute favourite) videos from you so far! I absolutely loved every part of it an dcan’t wait to get my sister to have a go at it as well! Thank you!!
I don’t really wish I only worried about my abs and butt looking good, but in a very selfish way I kind of do…I’m only 24 and I have sway back, scoliosis, SI joint dysfunction, and hip imbalance. I know that the way forward is to strengthen my abs and butt for function, not for beauty. Thank you for your body positivity and focus on a healthy mentality!
You are my go to for practicing and adding poses to my classes. I love your gentle introductions and no matter what has stumped me, you have a YouYube I can find answers in. Best asanas are when your dog assists you. I have those helpers on my mat, too! Thank you for your inspirations.
when Adriene said “life is good” I thought, life is awsome”
this my favorite yoga practice in the world. I really love it.
I really found this helpful. I have a tearing sensation in my heel and lost to know what yoga to without causing more trouble. ♥️
Hi there! Do you have any videos of yoga for skaters? I’m trying to get into it but finding Trouble mostly with balance and ankle pain (learning with inlines). Lots of love ✌️
I always be looking at the girl in the long braids and look now she a movie this girl speaks truth
2020 quarantined middle of summer
This one’s for all ya’ll y’all twerking in the mirror
I have tried yoga before for the sake of “working out” lol but thanks to Adrienne I’m in love with the practice of loving my body! and spending time working with it to better myself!
Anyone else feel super SURE that Adriene was heading for a cobra after that first plank? Only to realize she was back up in plank? You got me! I’m humbled! 😉
Hey:)Great energy:)
Lovely class!!!
Try my new yoga practice as well♀️
Im glad I found this video for relaxing my feet. It really helped to relieve the tension of my feet especially my ankle and toes thanks a heap love this,
In the beginning of my yoga journey I was like: “how down dog and childs pose can be resting poses?” Now I am like: “yeah, down dog, best resting pose ever!” Thank YOU, Adriene. YOU are super cool!
If cramp means my feet are waking up they are now VERY AWAKE!! But aside from that, a lovely practice especially after a tiring day. Thanks Adriene! xx
Been struggling to walk all day with serious pain in my left heel…. this practice completely sorted it out, thankyou Adriene it is a truly remarkable thing that you do for people.
“I recommend this guide:
katz.best/yoga-guide/apB
So grateful it exists in 2020.”
I stopped at hero pose learned the foundations from your hero pose video and came back. My feet are so happy:) Thanks for another wonderful video!!
This one has to be one of my favourites, i felt really stagnent today and this one about the feet came up whitch i forget about a lot of the time, now i just feel really comfy and fluffy, Thanks Adriene xxx
I absolutely loved and needed your intention check-in… “what are all the ways in which the core supports me that aren’t toxic”. Thank you for bringing me back to why I do my practice. With dating a new person and being quarantined with my much fitter roommate, I definitely lost track of why I do and love yoga. So important to remember that this space and this practice is for me, not my expectations of me, but in appreciation of who I am and how my body and spirit allow me to be that person
So THAT’S what will get me more active in my life! More feet-love! Very interesting! Thanks for this advice!!! ♥️ I can feel more energy in my feet right now after this practice! Nice one!
My first time, looked this up after a run, and I’m laughing so hard as my body suffers it felt gr8 after I finished but mannn, was this hard for me to do xD your little comments sound so relaxing probably why I was laughing, very good video! Enjoyed!:D
Adrienne is magic ❤ she can heal all sorts of pain be it physical or emotional!! May be she is an angel with pain killing potion ❤❤❤
Adriene, I was really hoping you’d drop “attention to FEETail” at one point in there.:)
Day 25 KISS! Missed this on Tuesday but just what was needed on Thursday! I put a lot of stress on my legs and feet since I am a fast walker. This was wonderful. Early in the video when we put one leg back while standing, I was surprised how unbalanced I was on each side. Had I never done that before? Highly recommend this video!
Healing from a sprained ankle, thought I would give this video a go since I have loved all her other ones so much! Thanks adriene:)
Wow. As I was doing this practice, I felt different openings in my spine and neck and even my shoulders!!! Crazy how it’s all connected. Amazing practice, thank you
that was great up to the on your back part with knees back barely made it half way down I’m on day 79 of doing your challenges and my feet hurt so I thought I’d try this hoping:)
I feel like I’ve never appreciated my feet much… Sometimes I massage them, but it’s usually a chore that I do so that I can get by for the next few days. Because my feet are DEFINITELY workhorses.
But by the end of this practice, I can really acknowledge that they’re a part of me, and “bring me joy.” Just taking the time to take care of them and check up on them has really just given me a different perspecitve on my feet and love them too. Thanks Adriene ❤
I love how you are with us all, including those of us because we lack some things that we feel everyone has! I have had a tighter right side of my body most of my life (ever since was sitting at the point of impact in a car accident that I was in), so I am unable to find some complete stretches in the most stable way, but you give an option for those of us that have lost ability
Lmao when she says im putting my feet on the Internet because she knows people will find this for the wrong reason
Adriene thank you so much. I have been trying to work out how to alleviate the pain in my toes and feet and now you have given me the key to care for them with this mindful foot practice….oh thankyou, thankyou. I look forward to repeating the practice tomorrow and the day after and enjoying it. Wonderful healing generosity.Thankyou thankyou.
Adrienne, I would have thought you’d have painted your toes for this? No criticism intended; I enjoyed the video and did the whole exercise and found it to be great….!!!
I can’t do the 26:17 huhuhu it’s kinda hurt and I didn’t finish that part Is there any problem to my feet?
I’m still getting to know you Adriene, but I knew you would have what I needed today! Yep, I hobbled on over to my laptop and searched for Feet. Thank You!
I injured myself while running a few weeks ago so I was feeling pretty bad about myself for not being able to run for a few months but jfc these core videos are kicking my butt just as much as running does thank you for giving me an alternative while I get better
What would recommend to do for the last few stretches if you have large legs and thighs (muscle, so can’t lose it). The towel helped in parts, but the bend back was odd and I could not sit straight. Cheers.
Is it only me, or is anyone else seeing Tessa Thomson in this Video?!!!
Thanks Adriene! That was toe-tally worth it!HEEEHEE(thought you would like a giggle!)Be safe at this time, stay in and enjoy your moments! Love ya! Rose Bentley the dog and Penny the cat!
Thank you so much for your video. I do some yoga with you daily but as I suffer for bunion and hammer toes I find some poses very difficult to do as my toes hurt. Any suggestions please? Thanks again.:)
Hello, Adriene. I am sure that you receive many of these messages already, but I wanted to thank you very much for your yoga instruction and guidance. I have started using your videos each morning to help me prepare for my day, and I always begin each day with a smile. Your videos have helped me grow mentally and physically, and both aspects, as shown in your sessions, are grounded on positivity and encouragement. Thank you so much for these videos, and I hope that you are staying safe and happy during these times!
So…is Janelle and Trissa dating or naw. I love their vide
Man, my feet were red like Santa’s cheeks. This session didn’t even feel like 30mins. The Froggie Pose reminded me of the time I tried it in the kitchen while looking for something to eat. I had the fridge door open, and then I went down like the Titantic, BOOM; Titantic probably didn’t make that sound. All the dogs started barking lol. This practice was different than the others I have done, and it made my feet feel more fluid. Keep up the magnificent work, and continue to have a phenomenal day!:) #KISSDay25
Wow! My feet feel great, much more supple and refreshed and awake! Love this, will save and repeat. Thank you
Thank you Adriene to remind us all the true essence of yoga. I started the session with the intension on working superficially on body part’s but you gently reminded me why I do yoga… To connect my mind-body-soul, to show self-love and to gain energy. XO
I’ve been doing your Yoga every week since the pandemic (sometimes I forgot to do it though) but it has really taught me to be gentle with my body and I’ve begun to see myself in a different light. My body does so much for me and deserves love, so connecting with my mind and soul and being gentle with it is very important. My self-love levels are at an all time HIGH. ❤️
I love Yoga with Adriene. So genuine, fun, calming. Very real and unassuming. Love this feet focused session. Thank you for what yo do.
That moment when I heard someone cough in the backstage I was spooked because I thought there’s someone in my house
Gosh I hate leaving the practice for the evening because instead of starting my day energized I feel like it’s some sort of punishment that stays in the back of my head the whole day and then I feel bad that I felt that way because the practice always makes me better.
Namaste
You were speaking to me today thank you so much. Absolutely love it and grateful this video came up in my search today
Hi Adriene, for those of us without a yoga block, how should we approach the alternate leg squat portion of the session?
I like this video very much but difficult to do groggy position due to my OA in my knee joint but I will continue to do everyday
Working on the roots of the body. It is for sure all connected. Might I suggest a foot soak? Gotta rectify your most frequently connection to Mother Earth. Namaste
I LOVE YOU JANELLE!!!
Can you tell me how to like a video twice?
Probably one of my favorites so far in KISS. Didn’t realize how much my feet needed this and in the one downward dog I was able to get my heels so much lower. Always thought it was my hamstrings keeping me so tight but now I know it’s my feet too. Definitely bookmarking this one.
25.02.2020. KISS Yoga.
Am away from home and from my weights. I am still taking care of my body by doing body weights workouts. Today morning I went for a 5km jog after which I did post run Yoga with Adriene. In the evening I did this practice. It was awesome. After the jogging and lots of walking, this felt heavenly and reminded me how to be grateful for my feet. I must admit when you are healthy you kinda take most things for granted…like the feet. Thanks Adriene for reminding me.
Expectations: a very painful 30min feet workout
Reality: no pain felt whatsoever cause was too busy laughing at all the jokes and innuendos.
wow. at the end in reclined cobbler’s pose I put my hands on my stomach and… I wasn’t revolted. I wasn’t ashamed. for the first time in my life, I liked my stomach in all of its softness. I just laid there and cried happy tears for a while.
yoga is great barefoot. even walking on nature trails barefoot feels great. im 90% barefoot all the time. love the earthy feeling in soles and toes. love walking in public barefoot as i get a few compliments
Thank you so much. I have a hammer toe and the first exercise I think was perfect for it, if you have other exercises that will help with hammer toe issues please advice
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been having agonizing foot pain and went to the doctor and they just said my feet suck anatomically and that’s just me now. So you can imagine how helpless I feel about it. But this helped SO MUCH! They feel so much better! Thank you!!!
I have a bunion on one of my feet would this pose make it worse?
Love this, I have feet pain pretty much everyday. Found this one yesterday and I had been a miracle workout for me. Thank you so much!!
This helps a lot since I used to have feet problems. Thanks!!
So positive and encourages the healthy way to think of being healthy! LOVE THIS
You have been my savior all through covid! Thank you again for teaching me he true essence of yoga!
yuhuuuuu.. energetic squatssss!!
La mejor Adriene!! thank you
Please appreciate this is painful…becoming a better yogi for me is loving my body
With much appreciation and gratitude, I want to say, “You are truly a blessing.” Namaste
Just going to leave this here: I always had trouble with severe sweating on my hands and feets so I could never really enjoy a lot of Yoga exercises. If you have this problem, please google treating sweat with iontophoresis. There’s also a couple of different videos on Youtube. Treatment can be done at home and takes takes about two weeks to get a HUGE relieve. Works for most people.
i have trouble focusing on softness…as all my poops are hard
You are the BEST! Adriene. Love the tempo of your yoga sessions. Thank you!! I “installed” my yoga space in a tiny section of my apartment and follow your instruction to go back on track to my yoga practice. You are awesome
i really enjoyed myself these past few days doing yoga with you. starting to feel good about myself!
Yummy practice today, I feel wonderful thank you Adriane for this amazing practice much love Namaste and good night ❤
Great practice. Generated some heat. The awesome in me bows to the awesome in you! Thanks, Adriene.
That was an awesome workout I felt amazing afterwards.. thanks alot Adrian
It’s 10/07/2020 13.03pm EAT and I still can’t help it:)) Babby bend over, lemme see you do the yoga. Let your booty do the yoga. Damn!
I thought of black girl magic then classic man and I realized YOGA! I REMEMBER THAT SONG
Thank u Adrianne got all ur videos in yoga I love it I’m trying my best to work out in yoga
I think it’s amazing how one person can make a positive impact to others. Thank-you!
I am a dancer and even though Im familiar with with moves thanks to stretching techniques, joining your yoga journey changed my whole mood. This is started to be favorite part of my mornings.Thank you Adrienne
Thank you for this awesome work out…my core is smiling back at you! And thank you for always reminding us that self love comes before loving of others…it’s the only way we can care for each other. Have an awesome day, Adrienne!
Thank you for your time, this routine was Everything!!!!
I practiced outdoors, it felt amazing!!!
Thank you very much a friend in the UK told me about you tonight (I’m in Australia) it has helped enormously. (Knees are a bit sore, but that’s ok:))
This songs sounds like it started as a joke, but then they realized its actually good.
I sill like this song from 5 years
It cam out on meh birthday
Question….when you are sitting near the end of video with feet straight out in front of your back straight, I notice that my back close to my spine is a bit curved. I cannot get it straight without using my hands on the earth behind me and there is definitely a bit of a strain. So what muscles are preventing me from sitting up tall and straight?
#YWAKISS happy to be a part of this #ywa #fwfg @yogawithadriene
Thank you so much for this Adriene!! My friend and I have been doing this intense ab and booty challenge for about 3 weeks now but I’ve also been practicing yoga w you(I just finished the 30 day home journey!). I came across this video on the calendar on your website and I am so thankful that I did because this was a much needed reminder as to why I am working to strengthen my core and booty… not for the appearance but for the ways it keeps me happy and healthy. I want to use this as a warmup from now on to go into my other workouts with this mindset! Again, thank you so much!
More booty yoga from Adrienne Pleaseeee, we are all coming out of pandemic with a fantastic body and mind all thanks to Adriene for all her positive vibes. feeling super blessed after this one.
Haven’t been able to practice for the past two days because I was on a hectic vacation. Yoga for feet was on the calendar. Perfect! It’s good to be back:)
This was my 4 th day doing yoga for feet I have noted great improvement in my poses and more stability
Thank you for ur encouragement and convincing instructions.
That extra activated Malasana was a game changer for sure!! Loved this practice, thank you!♥️
woohoo that was a sweaty one! feeling great and also feeling more flexible! think my heels were a little closer to the ground in downward dog
Ok, so I was pulling my pinkie toe down and a MOMENT later here comes Andriene telling us all we are allowed to do just that.
That’s how great a guide, she is. ^_^
No worries I had to reach back Im my own private Dancer!!
yoga “kiss”: day 25 done on march, 17th!!! Feet massages are always welcome! My feet feel lighter now. Decided to go into cobbler’s pose after attempting the hero pose but my right side wouldn’t cooperate so I chose to do something that felt good instead of forcing it and taking the risk to injure myself
This didn’t feel good at all but it’s not your fault.
I just couldn’t help but tense up so much that I didn’t feel like finishing.
It’s a great practice although I found out that I need something else at the moment.
Still I’m sort of happy that I tried.
Whoop! My lower back feels much better after that practicethank you!
I started doing Yoga about 8 months ago and love it, but this is the first time I can say that the practice has left me with hardly any lower back pain. I think I have been concentrating too much on stretching which wasn’t helping. I think the reason for my lower back pain may be something to do with my glutes. Thank you Adrienne
Would you recommend this at beginning or end of a power yoga class?
Day 20 Meditate! May 27 here but I decided to do this one which I missed last week. I have been doing quite a bit of exercise tye last weeks and still do not have a schedule down that keeps me from missing. Glad to get back to the mat for yoga. This one meshed well with today’s exercise. Have an awesome day.
I always love when I intuitively do something before Adriene tells us to, makes me feel like I actually know what I’m doing hahaha
As a nurse, the FIRST thing I noticed in the video are your AWESOME veins, ha!
Thank you so much for this one! I had to fast forward it a bit to speed it up in some parts so that I can shower before my 9am zoom meeting lol Day 20 #ywaMEDITATE Enjoy the day! Namaste
Woke up anxious and thought I’d try to turn my day around with some outdoor yoga; worked better than I could’ve expected! I love just reading through the comments thanks Adriene for making a positive difference in this increasingly bleak world!
I like how your focus is on mind-body wellness, unlike some other yoga instructors on youtube who make me uncomfortable with how vain they are (and how much cleavage they show). Their pitch seems to be, “Do this and look as hot as I do,” when that is not genetically possible for many of us.
Thank you so much for your yoga videos, I am someone who doesn’t normally like going out to classes or like being seen in general when I am working out so your videos have really helped me and I look forward to them everyday!! Thank you Adriene
The ballet dancer in me fangirled when you mentioned pliés! I hardly feel sore from booty workouts, but I can tell I’m going to be sore tomorrow! Thank you Adriene, this was such a fun practice, added it to my list of favorites x
Thank you!!! I just got my block and used it for this practice. I was actually strong enough to do all the squats! I do your different practices all the time and garden too. It feels good to know I’m getting stronger…yaaaaaaaaa!!! Namaste ❤️☮️
So happy I found these videos. So enjoying them all during quarantine time.
I had it yesterday as it was in my beautiful May plan:-) I feel a very deep nice pleasant pain in my booty:D and I love it. Thanks girl, I love you <3
This I have saved in my favorites to come back to it, the right effort. Happy day everyone. #ywaMeditate
#yogawithadriene #fwfg
I never feel like I can do squats correctly. I keep weight in the heels. If I keep my butt back, my chest is down, so then I lift my chest and my lower back lets me know that I’m doing it wrong. Does anyone have any tips? It never feels natural and safe for my knees.
As someone who has weak ankles, no arches, and bunions, I must say these REALLY help these areas. Namaste!
When Adriene said “fiddler on the roof” a man appeared on the roof opposite my house (unfortunately without a fiddle ;-)).
I came to the mat with sore muscles and quite sleepy. The practice went remarkably quickly when we came down to the floor, I was expecting more abs but the time had passed! Thank you Adriene xx Namaste
Day 20 of Meditate is good. I went with the whole of this practice but senior yogi confession apart from those early plank pushups. This sequence was fun, something different to our usual moves, lovely active and energising. A real feel good factor for me today. See you tomorrow on the mat for Day 21, going so quick! ♀️♀️
DAY 20!!MEDITATION MAY 2020
Adriene forever reminding us that you can take it slower and add ease even with a firecracker practise like that! This is what’s it’s all about! FIND WHAT FEELS GOOD could be the greatest mantra ever!! ❤♀️
Thank you so much for everything, it was a challenge with the leg lifted with the baby lifts just a not so usual movement but felt real good. I appreciate all that you do! After a long day of arguing with my kids, cleaning, cooking and dishes, this is my time and I am glad that you can help me wind down.
Day 3 of getting back to my mat in YEARS, I decided to do something a little more challenging. I feel great after following along with you. Excited for day 4, thanks Adriene!
I did this practice right after my full body strength session this AM and all the squats turned out to be a little too much for me, so I free-styled with some downward dog, high lunges, twists and childs pose. I was so impressed with myself for finding what felt good and it is all thanks to you, Adriene. Your practices have been a part of my daily routine since the start of 2020 and I’ve learned so so much I am forever grateful. I even ordered my first own yoga-mat last night and am so motivated to continue my practice. You rock! Namaste from Norway.
Amazeballs, I surprised myself at the end! Love it! Day 25 #ywaKISS Namaste
This video feels like a “guilty” pleasure, but these 30 minutes a day are nothing to feel guilty about. My tired feet looooove this routine. I do it at night and use a lavender lotion for the foot massage part.
My mom said that I would beg to listen to this song not gonna lie doe I vibe to this song
Thanks Adriene!! Beautiful workout for beginners. Last week I went in hard with another yogi but she was way too fast but she was also great for more experienced booty work I cant tell you how much I appreciate what you do!! Miss your doggy! Where is he at?
I liked this song until she told us to vote for Joe Biden
First time I listened to this song…I was like 11 and innocent.
My mind ryt now: Get off my areola!!??
Me and Britney down in Atlanta lol I live in the A too
Omg queen, I did one of your other morning yoga videos before this one. I have some time bc of quarantine and I decided to give my feet that have been hurting some extra love. The one downward dog in this video my heels went all the way down without pain! I never can do that and always wanted to be able to. This video was so gentle but the affects after made such a difference. Watched it a few times and thought I’d tell you I love you and you’re amazing.
Another nice easy practice to give my poor thighs a break! Don’t tell that to my toes though. They aren’t used to supporting so much weight on their own and weren’t as happy with the stretches as I was
The first exercise is excruciating to me (flat feet, bunions, years of wearing heels) but I feel it will be very beneficial. Thank you!
I could listen to you talk until the second I die. Its so calming:)
I don’t know if I’m the only one who trying to find all they child hood songs and this was my jam
Thank you Adriene I love how strong and peaceful your practices make me feel at the end. Namaste
I seem to have plantar fasciitis and I’ve just done this, feels so good. My feet have been hurting for 6 months now
I feel very refreshed. I always love when the practice includes a foot massage. My feet feel full of love.
I tried to bend over and do that yoga but my body just cracked and I started hurting. Song still slaps tho and I like singing along to it while I sit on the couch not doing yoga.
So powerful!!
Yoga with Adriene makes me feel more and more excepted by me and selfloved!!
Namaste
This is my favourite of Adrienne’s routines so far! Day 53 ♀️
thank you so much! everything you do is so pure and motivational one of my first guided workouts where i listened to EVERYTHING and did EVERYTHING like i am supposed to. much love! going to go relax now and get ready for bed, see your beauty tomorrow!
I know im nobody important but i absolutely love the video i love leggings…her hair was cute it was classy n promoting good behavior…..beautuful
Hey Adriene!!! Thank you for the amazing videos. Please post some more for back bends and inversion: )
Saudações de Braga, Portugal. Muito obrigado por este vídeo muito útil para ajudar os nossos pés. Namaste!
Beautiful practice. I am sooooo needing to work on my Chaturanga Dandasana and breathe. I will do this one again. Thank you.
“Get off my areola…get off my areola”!!!! Classic line of the song!!!
I feel that I should really return to this. I have hallux rigidus (I thing it’s called hallux limitus in America) plus that the muscles in my feet get numb sometimes. Been thinking about looking up a operation for it recently, but I will try giving my feet some extra love before that I think.
What’s the name of the video you mentioned that’s a good supplement to this practice? Silent Yoga?
I love your videos. I echo someone else who said just listening to you talk relaxes me! Thank you for these videos. Saving my sanity and my body during this pandemic. Namaste
OMG, this was sooo difficult to stand on one leg with the toes of the other foot bent under, to sit in frog with heart up (how to modify when one can’t sit up straight with the blanket either in front or behind?) to lie supine on a blanket with legs bent back (how to modify this?, 4 blankets?) knees just won’t even consider it. Massaging feet was good, but couldn’t fit fingers in between small toes.
Full mom. My foot randomly started hurting post running (or maybe due to a sandal I should stop using). First time experiencing that pain. 2am and Texas and and did two videos for foot care. Going to try to sleep now. I didn’t want to take a medication so came here. Some poses hurt especially sitting up on feet but I will try this video for next couple days for my feet to feel better.
Wasn’t feeling good about my body, but now I feel much better thank you!!!
Go follow me on Instagram Feet_Thing for forbidden pictures daily!!
this video came on and it isn’t as annoying as before. i just don’t have to listen to the lyrics.

My Mother was Raped on her 19th bday 5/6/66 i was born 38 Weeks later Friday 13th 1967. My mother planned & was calling me Dawn Maria Tyson right up til the Clerk asked my name. My Mother said she forgot but heard Ingrid Bargman from Casablanca her daughter is Benson from Law & Order who character Mother was Raped.
Wtf, Tessa Thompson doing in this video? Lol, Home girl got moves.
All this video taught me is that Tessa Thompson cannot dance lol
I spent most of the time looking for Thesa Thompson in this video
Men’s Wearhouse should take advice from Jidenna, his wardrobe is profoundly urbane ⌚️
This practice was extremely helpful, thank you for the reminder of why I started my venture into yoga! You inspire me to continue to work on connecting my mind, body and soul. Stay safe <3
