Beginning Baker here. Am I missing something? The directions say to use baking soda, but it’s not listed in the ingredients. Does the baking powder do the same job as the baking soda, or is that missing from the list of ingredients?
Hi Beth. I was wondering if you can make more gluten free meals.
What fun to add the cranberry sauce to the muffins directly! I also love using olive oil in baked goods. It gives a rich texture without the density of the butter. Thanks for the recipe!
We made turkey, yellow rice, grape leaves, bean salad, and more! I’d love to teach you how to make grape leaves middle eastern style!
hey beth!! please make Japanese Crepe Cake someday!:) it’s really delicious
In the opening shot, I initially thought you added chopped bacon to the top of your muffins instead of pecans, haha!
I will make that recipe today with my kids:) thanks for sharing that yummy recipe!! Bonne fin de semaine Beth!!
Made these yesterday and everyone loved them! The perfect way too clear out the fridge. But they kinda turned more into scones that are shaped like muffins, is that supposed to happen?
Beth, would I be able to make this with just pure A.P. flour, instead of it being gluten free?
Not to worry.. I’m a Muslim from the Middle East and I always find it interesting and fun to celebrate the holidays with my international friends can’t wait for Christmas! I love Christmas food and music!!! thanks for the recipe
I can’t find the recipe for your cranberry sauce. Is there one?
Love a guilt free muffin! Especially after thanksgiving. Our first thanksgiving in Australia we a delicious success!!! Our American friends loved it and I must say we have officially adopted your holiday. I am thankful for your videos Beth x take care Happy Thanksgiving
I made your salmon blini’s and goat cheese tartelettes for appetizers on Thanksgiving! My family loved them!:)
Fantastic recipe for leftovers Beth. I made the cranberry sauce that i told you. It was delicious and your muffins are perfect for my leftover sauce.
I love to see all of your preparations for your Thanksgiving. In Spain, as you know, we don´t celebrate but it´s interesting to me to know more about american life. I love US.
Now, Christmas! My favourite time!
Happy black friday there.
Patricia.
Gluten free flour isn’t a staple for my pantry, and I was wondering if I can swap regular AP flour in this recipe-or almond flour/meal. Love that it’s milk/butter cows milk free!! Makes it easy on some of my family members
These look wonderful Beth! I have been showing your “Thanksgiving for Rookies” to my Nutrition and Wellness classes prior to Thanksgiving for the last 2 years. The kids always enjoy it and gives them some ideas to share with their families. Thank you!
Hi Beth, I’ m going to try this recipe. I have a question, Do I need to put in xantham gum with all my gluten free flours, along with the baking powder? Thanks:-)
Thanksgiving was odd for me. My family’s origin is Japanese and we sort of did something different.
We have a traditional menu that the family really does not happily tolerate me changing: turkey, homemade bread dressing, homemade cranberry sauce, yams n’ apples, green bean casserole, homemade rolls and EIGHT pies: Pumpkin (like from one of those orange vegetable thingys and no canned milk), Maple Pecan (no corn syrup), Dutch Apple, Buttermilk Chess, French Silk, Sour Cream Peach, Cran-Raspberry Cheesecake, and my husband’s personal favorite Shoo-Fly Pie. As our older sons married I invited each of their wives to add a favorite dish from their family celebrations, and oddly enough this has included Kraft macaroni and cheese (a cherished Grandma brought this every year) and baked beans! This year there were 26 family members (including four new grandbabies) and five firefighters/paramedics who were on duty with our eldest son; we have held our family Thanksgivings at the fire station the last several years so that we can share our meal with those who have to work that day.
Hey Beth… Can you please let me know what is your favorite brand baking pans…
That look so delicious!! Even though here in Mexico we don’t celebrate thanks giving I love watching your thanks giving recipes (and all your recipes in general)
Beth, after Christmas eve I’m going to start living by myself because of college I have to change to another city, and I’m a little worried because I don’t know what food to do now that I’m going to be alone.
Could you do some recipes for college students that are easy and no so expensive please?:))
Any ways, I love your videos and I hope someday I can cook as good as you.
Have a nice day:)))
I made your butternut squash soup & your chocolate fallen cake, everybody loved it. They were so delicious & I was so happy w/the results:). Thank you for the delicious recipes! I hope you & your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

Thanks for a great-looking gluten free muffin recipe! I’ll have fun making it this weekend. Gigantic thanks, Beth, for your brined turkey recipe! Everyone at the table agreed it was the best turkey ever!
Hi beth wonderful videos! I was wondering which camera do you use to film it’s always so flawless:)?
Hey Beth. As much as I love your cooking I always really look forward to seeing the clip wheel and music at the end of each video! Could you perhaps, each week, provide the title/artist etc of each song in the description box? Some of them are really catchy!
Thanks from Down Under:)
Hey beth i love your channel i have a question can a put nutella insted of cramberry because i dont like it:( or another thing (i will really appreciate if you give me some advice) sorry for my bad english is not my native language
Greetings from Chile:)
Hahaha Personally, I don’t mind watching lots of Thanksgiving recipes.. I find that day to be really interesting and I’m sure it is really fun too! The only thing that makes me sad is that, at least here in Colombia, it is almost virtually impossible to get the ingredients necessary to make 99% of those recipes! From the pumpkin puree, to the pecan nuts.. well, I guess some day I’ll be able to give them a try!. But I can’t deny that I’m totally ready for Christmas! Thanks, Beth, for all these amazing recipes but most of all, for your incredible charm and the love you put into this. Regards from Medellin!:)
Love the recipe!! But I do not have cranberry sauce, could I replace it with apple puree or something similar?
omggg soooo yummy love them BTW
beth about that photo I haven`t post it beth I have it in my gallery soo i send to you in instadirect soo if you follow me on insta you`re gonna see sorry:/
@lidaaliji
Hi Beth Love this recipe, tomorrow I’m going to do and let you know how I stay. I am from Dominican Republic and here we are contagious with the celebration of Thanskgiving and Black Friday. In my family we made dinner, invite close friends and was a success. We did some of the traditional foods but gave it a more Dominican twist. We made turkey breast with gravy, rice with lentils and bacon, veggie crudite, garden salad, baked potatoes with garlic butter, pumpkin cream with croutons, and the king of the night Rack of ribs with pork belly… jajajajajaaj… was very diferent by the way, but was excelent… Definitely a new family tradition. Thanks for all your ideas, week after week inspired me your recipes. Happy Holidays!!
Beth beth beth! I love your videos. Even hearing your voice just makes me happy because I know you have a great recipe for us! You had me at orange zest and cranberries; I will definitely try out this!!:))
Beth I made your cheese platter yesterday but I substitute it with a smoked bacon gouda and a cranberries cheddar cheese! I also got a triple creme brie! Everyone LOVES it! Thank you for the idea!!
I made a pumpkin pie on my channel, and I also enjoyed turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and broccoli
You’re so sweet:-) to think about your international subscribers. You’re pretty clever with cooking and always an inspiration. Thanks:-)
I made your butternut squash soup and apple cups… It was a hit! Thank you so much:) love your recipes
Hi Beth! just wonder what it is about the gluten free that makes these healthier? Love your vids!
I made your turkey roulade and it was so moist! My boneless turkey brest was super thick so i had to pound it out thinner.
Its perfect for the muffin cups that I just bought a few days ago,
Thanks.
Merry Xmas!
Love all your videos! You stage every food item so well and the end result looks like it should be in Gourmet Magazine.
Thanks for the recipe! Both my parents are either gluten intolerant or celiac. Always nice to see a gluten free recipe coming out:)
These look really wonderful, Beth. They are also dairy-free! Love that.
hahaha everybody is obsessed with thanksgiving!! but the good thing is, the recipes are great to try out for Christmas as well, so it’s kind of a win-win situation here lol

Hey Beth……..I’ve baked cranberry muffins, but never tried cranberry sauce, these look delicious. I’m Canadian, and we had our Thanksgiving dinner last month………wishing you a great week-end, take care.
Although we don’t celebrate thanksgiving, I invited my friends over. It was a last min plan, so I had little time to prepare. I made aglio ogilo spaghetti, garlic bread served with can minestrone soup! They don’t even know the soup was can food haha! And actually wanted to make your apple turnover for dessert but couldn’t find the pastry sheets in both supermarkets! Happy thanks giving to you and your family:) I’m sure your dinner table was full of yummy foods haha
Soo not true:D I actually love it when American channels post thanksgiving recipes…apart from all the amazing food (YUM) the concept of thanksgiving is awesome! Plus it means that Christmas is right around the corner and who doesn’t love that:D
In Hong Kong, we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving much, but I do like watching Thanksgiving recipes videos, haha, i can feel the joy of making those foods.
all is well =) my website had issues for about a week and had to deal with that, now with the holidays I’ve been busy. Plus we’re moving in 2 weeks so I’ll be pretty MIA until the end of Janurary. I’m also changing my diet around a little bit and want to be secure with it before I go changing everything. I promise I’ll be around when I can. I hope you have a great holiday time! ^.^
I have some pecans leftovers from the Chocolate pecan tart ( btw…..soooo good!!!).
Thank you for all this amazing recipes Beth!!!!
Hugs from Spain!!!!
