The concept of “HIIT” is pretty simple. You can do anything for 30 seconds or even a couple of minutes.The Department of Health and Human Services recommends 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity. Interval training enables you to complete an effective workout in less time than a standard cardiovascular workout.

My only criticism would be to remove Cardi B’s name from the title. I was expecting her song and I didn’t get that.
So as i read the comments, i came across someone saying this was a level 5 hiit workout….Level 5?!?!! No wonder idied 3 times during the workout. I made it 21 minutes but that was definitely a tough workout
I could’nt do the double leg butt kicks! ARGH! I’ve been doing the other HIT 30 secounds on. I just did this and I realised it wasa minute on, no wonder I’m struggling. Will have to check the workout before I do it. WOW

I just started cardio workout today. I usually just do low impact HIIT. Almost gave up in the middle. I rested for a solid 5 minutes but I pushed through and made it. Thanks guys as usual.
Hi, from Tokyo. I have avoided going to the gym since early March and take a long walk every day and do biking at home, which I bought anticipating this. But now, I can do aerobics which is great! I love Daniel so I stick to his programs.
The other day was my birthday and as I looked up from the picnic table at the park where I spend couple hours each day, four friends from my gym were there singing Happy Birthday for me. How moving it was. After cheers with cold tea with milk and some sandwiches and fruits, I suggested we do the workout so the five of us did it in the park. It was a great experience. Thank you Daniel and your team. Incidentally where are you from, Daniel? I’m very comfortable with your accent. I lived in NZ and UK as well as other American English countries….

This one was really intense. If someone told me that I would see burpees as resting exercise I wouldnt believe it:)) I mostly couldn’t do the double butt kickers I switched the half of it to normal butt kickers.. I hope I’ve burnt at least 250 calories though:)

This was my second workout of the day and it was the hardest video yet. I’ve been doing it for about 2 weeks and I look forward to challenging myself again. Love the videos guys!
I chose this video because I was looking for high-intensity INTERVALS interspersed with RECOVERY. But, I have to say, the RECOVERY seemed to be missing-except for the two-minute break in the middle. Also, I had to do variations for several of the exercises because they were too difficult for me. I did hamstring curls alternating with knee raises instead of butt kicks. Also did some lunge forward then back on the same leg instead of flutter legs, followed by the squat. I did modified burpees-instead of hopping both legs back and then forward, did a step back then step forward (one leg at a time)-then stood up and did the alternating leg lifts. I won’t be doing this one again.

So I have a severe lower back pain on my left side after I did this cardio yesterday, should I ignore and continue the cardio as iv been doing daily or rest and wait till it goes?

I found the “warm-up” too intense for cold muscles, especially after being in the car all day (I’m a night time exerciser), and unfortunately I am unable to do double butt kickers gracefully so I had to just do normal ones for the courtesy of my downstairs neighbors, but I’m drenched nonetheless.
Great workout, but I had to change it to low-impact. Still, I was sweating like crazy at the end… Thanks!
This was by far, the hardest workout I have EVER done! I’ve probably done 200+ of your workout videos, and this one totally kicked my butt! I can now see why it was rated a 5 in difficulty.

Hi there. I am loving all of your workouts. I just have a question though. When I follow one of these routines how many sets should I do. Is one set at 6 minutes really enough. I also walk and try to get 10,000 steps in.

I made it to 20 mins. The exercises are simple but man put together that is a heart pounding cardio for beginners I wanna lose 30lbs and keep falling off

I thought 2 repetitions are it! After 2 minutes rest then I’m done. Then I saw Round 2, starting all over again, that’s when I know I’m screwed!

That is NOT HIIT. If all you need is 30 or even 60 seconds of rest, your NOT going as hard as you can. If your going ALL OUT, there’s no way that you can continue without at least 2 minutes of rest, if not 3 minutes of rest. This is NOT HIIT.

This was one of the hardest HIIT workouts I’ve done and I couldn’t finish it. Well, the last set of double butt kickers, even the first set I couldn’t last the minute. Kelli didn’t even break sweat. Must try this one again… maybe next week or next month.

Modified the crap out of these moves but at least I powered through. Next time ill focus more on form rather than speed.Almost mess my ankles up doing the flutter squats. Completed it though.:)
I did this with a lot of pauses and changed the double butt kicker to just butt kicker. It is crazy hard but workout is complete!

I have trained with your channel since the beginning of March, and this one is by far the hardest, I have ever tried. As someone said: It’s pretty intense if the burpees feels like chilling! I stuck it out, but had to do jump ropes instead of butt kickers… I’ll be back in 3 months and do those butt kickers, godd*mnit!!!

I love just about all of the Fitness Blender videos, but this one is way too repetitive & simply gets boring. I think I probably could’ve held on after Round 1 if Round 2 consisted of a different set of HIIT exercises. But seeing that I’d be doing the exact same exercises again made me lose interest. Please mix up the exercises more………different challenges!

This workout is far inferior to newer workouts from Fitness Blender. There is very little variation, long stretches of silence while doing the same exercises, and the same videos of Kelly just looped 4 times. It was the first time I’ve ever wanted to quit in the middle of one of their workouts. Skip this one and do another HIIT workout from Fitness Blender.

Holy crap! I barely got through the warm up. I’m 55 and moderately fit but this is going to take some work to do a full workout. I like these exercises though. Much better than stationary bike or elliptical. Anyone else completely crash and then eventually get through it?
Did this after waking up without breakfast and had to take a break before it was halfway through to grab a banana and almond milk but came back and finished it after eating:)) It’s okay to take breaks, it’s better than giving up completely!!

Good cardio but I was bored with repeating the routines after second round. So glad you have since added the timing bar and second counter. It gives the mind something to think about and strive for.
