I think this would be more authentic if your weren’t reading cue cards..
Thank you but The excitement in this video is just too much.
How come omelette and cheese are ibs friendly? My stomach do not take these very well. Boiled eggs are Ok for me though, omlettes are big NO NO.
Beautiful video and it looks delicious meal <3
Recently i found out i have a problem with fructose digestion, new about FODMAP. This realization completely changed my stomach problem and helped me. I’m still learning about FODMAP, so I appreciate your video:))
Hullo Becky…I JUST found you…..MY dear girl.because I am new to IBS…had it a few years back but it left and all well…..NOW I have bloating afeeling of dull pain in my tummy area and this icky feeling…I have read that you can also get…..back pain..indegestion….burping and diahrea…constipation….I dont know what to do.scared that it is something more serious….HAVE YOU ANY ADVICE….I am going barny for the past few weeks….THANK YOU!!!!!!
I thought that fake sugars (zero calorie sweeteners, aspartame) were difficult to digest?
Fantastic video. More videos please. So hard to find low fodmap recipes on line.
Hey Nisha! Your video packed in lots of helpful information and I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon it. Could you make more IBS related food videos, particularly one video for sharing meal ideas for IBS-C and maybe a separate one for IBS-D? I would love to see what breakfast ideas you may have for those of us that need more insoluble fiber in their diet. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! these recipes are just what I was looking for!
Broccoli is NOT low FODMAP! It’s a cruciferous vegetable like cauliflower and causes gas! Spinach, string beans, or carrots is a low FODMAP option.
finally another low fodmap youtuber!!!! feel like we’re sisters HAHA
to be honest, i dont think its great to eat only a small piece of omlette and also to eat it friday when you cooked it monday.
I love the production of this video! And I love meal prep videos even though I almost never meal prep (even though I probably should its just hard esp when you feel sick and the thought of eating doesn’t enthuse you:( ). Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the video, our condition is a bit sad, like the music. Sorry to say that, but it is true. Even though we made our lives look better, it is almost impossible being a vegan in a low food map diet, if you are trying to keep your proteins high. I am sorry but that is my opinion. I love all veggies and fruits, being in a low food map diet actually made me less healthy. I would love to hear your thoughts. And again, I do not mean to ofende anyone..
Just was told yesterday that I have to start a Low Fod Map diet. So glad that I can watch you to help me out! You get me inspired that I can do this!! Thank you!!!
I don’t worry about calories only bc I’m struggling as is to gain weight…. I would like to see a high calorie diet for IBS…. I need meat on my bones lmao
“Green drink” is not a proper sentence because it’s in the singular; “Green drinks” in the plural is correct.
Not sure if you’re vegan or not, I’m only at the protein powder part of your video. But, if you aren’t, you should try carnivore protein powder. It’s beef based not milk based.
I was surprised to see that you can digest with any issues the whey protein. That’s a big upset stomach trigger to many. It’s been a couple months since I started eating low FODMAP foods. The testing phase seems to always be happening as I add new foods. Best of luck on your journey.
Such a lovely and calming video. Love the tips about the tea. Thank you so much:) x
Hey! You should try Falcon protein, it’s vegan and chai flavor tastes great!!!
At what temp do you put oat bars in oven and how long? They look good!
hey Melissa, I’ve got IBS and enjoyed the video today. going off the end cook, I make my version of chicken adobo regularly in the crockpot and it lasts me 3ish days. 2-3lbs chicken(I usually grab a thing of thighs and breasts) seared in garlic infused oil, plenty of pepper. put in crockpot with 1 cup white vinegar, 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce, tumeric, cinnamon. cook 4 hours on low. add some chopped yukon gold potatoes if you want depending no macros (i need carbs for soccer) but either way cook another 2 hours. serve with or without rice or greens of your choosing. working for me, wish you luck, you seem to be thriving. best we can anyway, cheers
I am going to start tomorrow and too confuse to work out a menu..so I think i will just follow what you did…wish me luck!
Thank you for this. The last few months of eating on a low FODMAP diet as a vegan has been tough. This is not only amazing food inspiration, but it makes everything all the more easy to deal with!
do you get approached in the gym by men at all? like trying to comment on what youre doing or anything like that?
I am so glad I found your channel. This is the 1st video I am watching. And now I am going to binge watch to play catchup.
I loved your tea kettle. If I may ask you, where did you get it from? Thanks so much!!!!
Everything is lowFODMAP as per the official FODMAP app made by Monash Uni (the researchers who developed this diet!) ☺️ Portion sizes are absolutely key… gluten is not a FODMAP
I love this video, I would love for you to do healthy receipe videos. You’ve given me so many new ideas of things to make!
I love that you mentioned labdoor!! i have the same protein powder, because it was the best in terms of quality as well as calorie/protein ratio.
so glad i found this there isn’t enough out there on low fodmap and being vegan! i’ve been vegan for 3 months now and it’s helped heaps but i still really struggle with bloating and it’s driving me nuts. it’s so uncomfortable:-(
so i think i now really need to work on eating specifically low fod map foods.
Loved this! I recently found out that I’m gluten intolerant so this video came at the perfect time! I also measure most of my macros so it’s kinda nice to watch someone else do it, since typically it’s something that makes all my friends/family roll their eyes lol
Inspirational video, thank you for sharing, but I think it’s only do-able for someone who has a “you tuber” life style and can give all of that time and energy into their self-care & lifestyle.
low key tho ya know how they say dogs and their owners look alike? that’s not a bad thing @ all your puppies are gorgeous and so are you
Schar ciabatta and panini rolls are the best! I think i have lived off of these for the last few days,I love them fresh out of the oven.
Does your boyfriend eat this way as well? Or do you guys cook food separate? Love these types of videos by the way!
I have SIBO so I’ve been eating low fodmap since the summer, I’m def gonna make that recipe…thanks for posting!
Hi Melissa! Thank you so much for this video! could you please link where you bought your water bottle from?:)
Yay, new video! This was an especially beautiful one. Your filming is amazing and I love your calm, healing approach to things.
If you are lactose free, how do you deal with the whey protein? I have been struggling with similar issues
Just stumbled upon your channel my husband and I have lost 350 lbs between the both of us this past year…..I’m wondering is there any reason you don’t use a spray oil that has 0 cals over regular oil? Everything looks awesome going to try the oatmeal bars!
Careful with blueberries btw, it quickly becomes a high fodmap, because of the high levels of fructan. A maximum of 40 gram is tolerable in the elimination phase, but be careful. For anyone even attempting the low FODMAP lifestyle, get the Monash app, it is an absolutely lifesaver and more so a time saver.
Hi Melissa. Have you heard about Keto diet? Or carnivore? Or the optimal diet for humans? It turns out we are eating too often, too much and mostly what we shouldn’t eat on a regular daily diet. Try to watch Dr. Ken D Berry, Dr. Nadir Ali
Thanks for posting this. I’ve been dealing with digestive issues for years, I feel bloated and in pain after eating, even when I eat a normal portion size. It can be so stressful especially when traveling and you are out of your routine. This is giving me a lot of inspiration and ideas. I’ve been researching fodmap since you posted this, so thank you for posting informational links as well.
I wish everything on the internet was like this video. It’s like going to a relaxation spa
Can you pls give examples of what is low Fodmap bread? I thought pretty much all grain is now allowed with Sibo…
UPDATE: oat bake recipe has been added to the description box!
That’s one adorable, smart, cute, healthy, charming, delicate, pretty, radiant, stunning, cheerful, exciting young lady right there
When I need something crunchy I do some potatoes chip in the oven and I served it with my protein. Spray olive oil and and a pinch of Himalaya salt. I peel them so thin and put in the oven for 15 min more or less. I hope it helps you
Thank you for inspiring me to revisit FODMAP. The bloat and unintentional weight gain have been real!
New follower here! I would LOVE if you posted more of this content (healthy food eating, what I eat in a day, my food OGs/staples, fitness training) All that!! Also linking some recipes you eat often too would be incredible:) you’re gorgeous! So happy I found you!
Thank you for this video. I’ve struggled with IBS for so long and it’s nice to not feel alone. I’m doing FODMAP diet currently
Love what u wear for your workouts! Where did you get them from?
Just discovered your channel through @frommybowl! I’ve been looking for a video like this for a long time!! Being an Indian vegan girl with ibs too, your channel is so relatable and so helpful. Thanks so much Nisha!! can’t wait to watch all of your other videos and follow ya!
How do you know that when you add all your ingredient’s together for your dishes that the final product doesn’t end up being high fodmap?
I thought I drank alot of water, but omg! How often do you pee? lol!!! Thanks for sharing
Thank you for this! Ive been wondering when you would have time to post next. I hope you are well:)
Can you do a video ezplaining low fod map as im thinking about it as im gf celiac but get rrally bad ibs heartburn as well xx
melissa try orgain protein powder the black jar that says keto on it or garden of life unflavored raw protein powder its vegan and gluten free
I loved this video! I look forward to more vlog-style and what I eat in a day videos!:) Wishing you the very best on this journey and so glad you’re feeling better! Big warm hugs from Canada XOXO
Melissa btw do you workout in your days?? If so tips pls
hi, becky! really good looking meals and i love the format! i think anything that makes life easier and tastes good is a total win! also loved seeing peggy! hope the tum is better. for some reason, i’ve been struggling with nausea while at the store so i’ve saved a lot of money but not filling my fridge. sigh. here’s to better stomachs for each of us plus better digestive tracts. hugs! k
Love how balanced everything was in macros and how you found what makes you feel your best! Also yes to individual macros and nutrition plans for each individual! No one diet fits all and not everyone’s macros are the same. There are so many helpful tips here! Don’t drink your calories! I use to and not even realize it.
Can you do a how to get abs video/core workout? Because summer is coming girl!!!
No no noooooo. Lots of things on this that have none described ingredients. I’ve had IBS for over 30 years. Always looking for new ideas. Everyone is different. But one thing I have learned is that you need to know what EVERYTHING is that goes into your body. Lemon is also an acid so watch your teeth.
Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about “ibs pains” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about Mackorny Defeat IBS Blueprint (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my partner got amazing success with it
I just made the pumpkin oat bake recipe & OMG SO GOOD!! It will definitely become a staple in my morning routine. I can’t remember if you mentioned this, but do you keep it refrigerated? And what milk did you use in the recipe you posted on instagram? Thank you!!
This is very timely! I got diagnosed with IBS literally this morning I’m so sad because I love food and I love cooking! Am I supposed to cook different meals for my husband and kids vs. me?
I’m watching this, and I can’t stop crying. I’m so tired of eating and hurting as a result all the time. I’m really tired:'(.
I’m just about to start a low fomap diet, thank you so much for this channel. it really helps me feel normal as a low fomap vegan
Why are we still calling it gluten sensitivity, if it isn’t actually the gluten that’s causing the symptoms?
Right now I can’t have most of this:( really surprised seeing peanut butter here!
I am intolerant to strawberries and bananas…they aren’t low fodmap for me, is there other fruits you would use? I am also intolerant to eggs but I know there is no alternative to eggs for an omelet.
Just a note: soy sauces almost always contain wheat, which is a low-fodmap on small quantities but certainly not good for most ppl with digestive issues. Use tamari instead. ✌❤️
this was such an interestinggggg video. making me think about what i eat for sure. but no garlic and onion?! I eat those with almost every meal whhhaaaaaaa!
Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram if you fancy seeing more of me! http://www.instagram.com/beckyexcell Thanks guys! x
Your channel is saving my life. Thought of stopping veganismo because for years my gut has been wrecked but this is my last hope so I’m hoping it works! Thank you for the videos
I watch this really intently as I have really bad IBS that was made really bad when I tried veganuaryj so this has given me some fabulous meal ideas!
My gut seems to freak out periodically. I could have a stint of flat, almost hollow stomach and 2-3 bowel movements a day for months and then get constipated for 10 days… no idea what to do. This leads me to undereat and be generally miserable while constipated…
Thanks for your inspiring videos. As a vegan contemplating a low FODMAP diet I was getting pretty depressed but your videos have given me hope. This is a great sensible introduction to SIBO too great stuff!
I just got back from my 3rd hospital visit in 6 months due to excessive bloating and stomach cramps. The doctor recommended I start a low fodmap diet to figure out what was causing the pain and bloating. So glad this video popped up when I had a google, makes me feel like it is an achievable thing and that I don’t have to live in pain and fear of what I ingest!!
yummm this looks so good. Just stubbled across your channel struggling myself from IBS and this just makes it that whole lot better <3 thanks so much. Keep doing what your doing
I do have IBS and I am on low fodmap diet. However I find that i am capable of eating some portion of foods which have gluten and dairy. Like 2 tablespoon of cow milk and 2-3 pieces of sugar crackers and they don’t give me problems. I think it all depends on finding out what works, what combinations work and which trigger foods to avoid. You don’t have to strictly follow all foods listed on the high fodmap list. You have to experiment and find out for yourself.
Wow I love your channel…so happy I discovered! I’ve been wanting to go vegan but have IBS & SIBO….many food restrictions! I didn’t think it would be possible to go vegan as well….but you have inspired me. I can stay at peace within myself…at least try to:) turning notification button on now! Thank you so much! Also, do you have a healthy sleeping cycle?
I was a little worried that this video wasn’t going to be perfect, but when I saw the way you strategically organized that tempeh on the cutting board I knew everything was going to be ok.
all that brown sugar in the cookies has got me really confused… So much fructose!
I love these kinds of videos! You’re so thorough and helpful. Totally trying the matcha lemonade this week!
The problem is I’m allergic to nuts and I hate certain textures of foods like oats. It is awful having so many food restrictions and all vegan diets include tons of nuts.
You should look into paleo and whole30. You have a long way to go. All this boxed stuff you use is not really healthy. Is cheese lactose free? It might be, when it’s highly processed. You should eliminate chia, all grains. I really rocommend paleo diet and doing a whole30. It cured my ibs.
Appreciate the effort but this video was misleading. Both chocolate, and broccoli are not low FODMAP.
oats are approved by the fodmap diet? please help me i´ve struggling with gut problems and trying to start a fodmap diet….. and what about nuts as peanuts and almods and seeds?
Thanks very much, can you please do more of these, soooooo helpful. Best wishes
First video and I’m obsessed! From the Bad Bunny to the gut probs, I’ve never felt more seen on YouTube! I’ve been trying follow low FODMAP for years. The app helps but you made it seem doable/“normal”
Omg! Green onions make me sick as well. Interesting and frustrating that many low FODMAP foods are things I’ve already identified that I shouldn’t eat
Hi, am in the elimination phase and am very starving because I am not sure what to eat at the phase I keep making mistakes and my stomach hurt a lot
Hi from Arizona. Just subscribed. Very interesting info! Im just starting my vegan journey etc.
You are probably the most calming person I have ever had the pleasure to listen to!
The cookies! I want to make the cookies! Thank you for all these recipes, though!!
Do you know if brown rice pasta is low fodmap? I only have 1 cup cooked at a time anyway, but I prefer the taste to regular gf pasta. Your channel is so unbelievably helpful! xx
its important to avoid all astrigend and sour foods as well as cooked plant foods have the tendency to cause fermentation (as well as alcaline mineral poor foods, aka non organic stuff)
so no, its not fodmaps, its foods that promote fodmap fermentation that cause the fodmap problems
My big cake was yummy but the texture was more like… Cookie dough, chewy. Definitely not spongy like cake. Did I undercook it?
Perfect soothing voice to listen to right before going to bed:-) Thanks for the healthy recipes!!
how long are you going to stay on the lowfodmap diet? and has it been helping your ibs? X
Lovely video. Thanks for all the fabulous recipe ideas. Shame I don’t have an Italian on hand
Please share more low fodmap info and videos I need this!!!! fellow IBS struggler
FINALLY someone with the same diet as me on YouTube, I could actually cry. This is amazing. ⭐️✨
What kind of flour and protein do you use in the mug cake. I am too new to understand what low FODMAP flour and protein flour means.
Oats make me sick and too many chia seeds back me up. It sucks because those are such vegan staples
Can I add 2
Tablespoons of peanut butter to the cookies? I don’t have powder peanut butter
I didnt even think of putting potatoes In the microwave to make chips!! Wow
I’m just about to start the FODMAP diet as a vegan!! It’s so hard! How are you allowed garlic oil?! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Shit!!! Like me I have hashimotos. I can’t eat grains, beans, milk. Corn. You know how hard that is as a Mexican. Like why lord??? No queso no frijoles no tortillas. Por que me castigas!!! Lol but I’m good I’m Keto and can’t drink coffee. You get used to eating healthy!!! Plus my health is first. You go girl.
Check out Lyfefuel for protein! I think it will be RIGHT up your alley! Thank you for sharing recipes and all the info! Would love to see more!
Thank you Becky for your inspiring cooking video…just made your sweet and sour sauce with shrimp…delicious! Since eating low fodmap for a few weeks my IBS is gone…no more bloating…I am losing weight…it is miraculous. Before this diet when I thought I ate healthy and worked out, I couldn’t lose my belly fat and had IBS… I would be so discouraged. I must say this diet really works for me and it isn’t like dieting because you eat delicious food and you’re never hungry…..so thank you for your inspirational videos and making a difference in my life!
Ease stress with 5 kids … A quite place hardly have that time.
To my understanding, potatoes are not good for Sibo?
Or am I getting that wrong
I was started on the FODMaP diet a week ago by my GI doc after endo/colonoscopy done same day was inconclusive. He gave me a handout and a website—that’s it. I find this diet overwhelming and need help but am not finding registered dietitians in my area (central Az). and advice is welcome! i am close to miserable
My teen daughter is starting this diet tomorrow and looking for lunch ideas we live in canada
So happy I just discovered your channel which deserves a lot more views! My doctor just recommend me to do this diet so fingers crossed:) Are all your recipes FODMAP friendly?
PS. I hope you collab with pick up limes, as you’re both vegans and have same aesthetics
Ooh I will try all, it is so nice to see ingredients I recognise, the maple syrup from ALDI, I buy that! Where do you recommend getting the low FODMAP panini from? In the past I have noticed that most panini bread is made with no E numbers or other nasties
Which cheese did you please. I cant find a nice ) lactose free one:(
Great video. I have struggled to find lowfodmap sundried tomatoes. Which brand are you using?
I was cooking something while watching you cooking! Really like your videos. I don’t why, but I am not really into cooking something and eating the fourth or the fifth day. I usually keep and eat my food that’s not older than 2 days. I don’t waste food, I cook in small portion. I am into cooking meat today and eating it after three days. Have a nice evening!
I have IBS and also no gall bladderso as you can imagine… it’s hell. It’s gotten so bad that I don’t want to travel, I get anxiety when I leave my house because I’ve had so many experiences where it hits out of nowhere and a lot of the timesI barely made it to a bathroom.
I’ve tried gluten free, dairy free, low carb, low fat, high fat, low protein, keto, and vegan! I can’t seem to find anything that truly helps.
Keto is okay because I avoid sugar and carbs so that at least helps with bloating and abdominal crampsbut my stomach still cuts up just the same. It’s rough out here for those of us with digestive issues
I never got the notification for this:( but ily for making this omg. I have IBS and PCOS and it’s literally impossible for me to lose weight/maintain a healthy weight bc everything makes me gain its so unbelievably frustrating. Anyway. Just found out low fodmap and dairy/gluten free is best so THANK YOU.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the amazing ideas for meals just been diagnosed as having a wheat, gluten and lactose intallerance and ibs, I was dreading what I could eat, so far I have made your breakfast fratta and pho bowls for lunch which were amazing xx
those salmon and egg cups looks so yummy and not many ingredients…I hate recipes that have a long list of ingredients….
Becky, I’ve been watching you for a while and you’re the reason I brought the low FODMAP diet up to my doctor! i’ve been doing it for almost a year, but I’ve been vegetarian for almost 2. How was your tummy when you started incorporating meat again after you were vegan? I’ve been really struggling with getting my protein in for a while now (for a few different reasons), and I’m thinking of going back to eating meat, but I haven’t seen/heard anything about it!
Using chia seeds as tapioca pearls is such a cool idea! All of these recipes look delicious. I’m not following a Low FODMAP diet, but these are great for any vegan (or anyone in general).
Food looks great. But way too much cheese. Even if it’s no lactose. Being lactose intolerant myself, I have figured this out. Maybe that could be a trigger for you also.
You go Melissa! I follow you mainly because you’re so different and live a lifestyle that you’re so comfortable with! Keep being you
Brunch & dinner looks so delicious!
Is there an online source you use for gluten products? Thank you!
Please make more! Also, how long does that chocolate chia mixture last in the fridge?
I’d appreciate more follow up recipes on this
I have problems with many different foods, and have a lot of problems with things like beans and many vegetables.
sorry i though caffeine had to be avoided if you have ibs, can you explain?
She seems like she’s never even farted before. Like her bowels smell like berries and incense. Just so pleasant lol
Have you ever done a stool sample test. I tried Viome. You can look it up. I’m waiting for my results.
I have a soy allergy, making vegetarian eating rather tricky, especially when traveling or eating with others:(
Would love to hear of a plant based protein powder suggestion in the future if you have any to recommend!
The food you’ve made looks amazing! thank you for the great tipps currently experiencing your favorite word…
your videos are SO lovely and so helpful for a relatively new vegan with a super sensitive belly!
Hi! I’m curious to know what type of potatoes you use for the crisps, not all crisp up nicely.
And I prefer corn cakes rather than rice cakes, but I cannot find the low fodmap portion, I still don’t have the app, so if someone has this information, please let me know! Thanks.
Thank you for this video! Your energy is contagious! Also, what kind of glasses are you wearing?
Thank you so much for this video! My fructose intolerance means many legumes (as well as some fruits) are permanently off limits for me. Would love to see more low fodmap recipes on this channel
I would LOVE a video (or Instagram stories) on your workout gear — I think I see lifting straps? 😉
thanks, good tips! for SIBO, better keep fruits and sugars off the diet
Some nice ideas in this video, I have little red lentils which are low fodmap, other lentils will give you problems. Any type onion is high in fodmaps too.
You’ve gotta know that IBS is about sensitivity. You’ve gotta Keep your stress levels in check.
A key thing is to drink at least 2-3 litres of water every day. Something that most of us don’t do. Eat as close to nature as possible. Go as gluten free as possible. And control spices used, especially chilli and smoked paprika.
My husband has IBS and it has given him a lot of grief over the last 15 years. I will be sharing this with him. Thank you for another beautiful and informative video.
No wonder I felt like death with GAS!! I should of research but I was bananas. Thanks for sharing
Eating cooked foods helps as raw foods are harder to digest. Thanks for the video!
its a random question but where did you get your black glasses?
Great video and very informative. I’ve noticed that I can’t really handle raw veggies, do you know if there would be a reason for that?
Hopefully you make more Low Fobmap videos. My doctor recommended this diet for me. Maybe start a new series. Thank you for addressing this issue. Love your little funny comments.
I can’t believe with all the views there aren’t more likes on this video. It’s thorough!
You are so graceful with omelettes! Mine would have been destroyed on the flipping. My autoimmune disease mimics IBS, bless your heart for sharing these videos, sauces are so hard. Thank you! love from Oz.
great video. thank you for these recommendations. i really struggle with IBS and the symptoms have only gotten worse recently because of stress. ill be watching more of your videos for sure. p.s!you’re voice and video editing reminds me of sadia from “pick up limes”<3
I found your channel and have been watching your videos to get some food ideas. I have had IBS D for years and as I get older it is gotten worse. I struggle with a lot of foods. Watching your videos after this one some of your recipes include onion powder, garlic powder and mangos. I thought those were not good for the low FODMAP diet? I really need to heal my gut but have no idea how to.
Thanks for this excellent video. I am about to host someone with IBS and needed help planning.
There are studies to prove that water has memory. So thanking food before eating it helps digestion.
Excellent content and thanks for sharing openly, I have subscribed even though I really do like meat but some of your alternative food ideas may help with my IBS I am interested in probiotics but I am also concerned with the use of FOS or prebiotics when it comes to IBS I will check out the brand you have linked! Thanks for the inspiration!
10 years ago in law school??? How old are you? You look young
Oh my gosh finally! I’ve been searching for some good low fodmap AND vegan recipes, love it, subscribed:)
I went to the link for the lowfob and the diagram says to avoid garlic and onion. I’m really interested in the diet but want to make sure if we can or not have garlic?
The hardest part of being gluten free for me has been soy sauce. I’ve yet to find a gluten free option near me for the past few winter months
These meals would destroy me!!! Tempeh & lentils are impossible for me:(
thx for the new in-for, i finally can eliminate another triggering food from my list, its the damn soy source…i didnt have it in the morning but i had it for dinner then, i had my first huge bowl movement, thx for the infor that some soy stuff trigger ibs!
Great vid.
Could you do the mug cake with raspberries.I prefer them to blueberries.
I was actually only listening to this video because I was cooking as it played, and I just wanted to say that your voice is very soothing.
don’t talk about diets for IBS! you are basically providing MNT. this is a clinical condition and should only be addressed by a professional (like a registered dietitian)
Hello, it’s great to follow. I am Lactose & Gluten intollerant with IBS problem. May I have a good & quick Recipe?

In the beginning I thought you’re gonna share some food photography tip which seems to be amazing always than wonder never heard of IBS in any of a photography video, thought it was unique, than you started to sound like a nutritionist like eat this and don’t eat this little bit boring I went into meditation while watching
Next time if u wanna have chocolate don’t come in front of camera becoz it’s not in ur food diary list & might trigger other symptoms of IBS #refer3pt.
just kidding.
In Short, Nisha u shouldn’t stress because depression is the next stage which affects your health.

Have you been tested for SIBO? I was told i have IBS for 20 years and finally had someone send me for a lactulose test which showed i have a small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. This seems to be quite a common discovery in IBS sufferers
Happy to see another video come from you, Nisha! And thank you for being so open!
My amazon employee heart was hoping to hear “Alexa” when talking to the in home device instead of “hey Siri”
I’m so glad you posted this. I just had a gi appt and he suggested this fodmap diet. I’m so sad I have to give up avocado, onions and garlic
Hi Becky. We finally made it to London (from Israel) for our first visit. So exciting. I’ve watched so many of your videos of your trips into London and now we are here! We love ❤️London. And we went to Primark last night. So many great deals!!! Thank you for making your traveling videos. You and Mark are adorable.
Hey again beccy! Brilliant video AGAIN! I’m sure to try these recipes out. I always head to your website first for everything as I basicly only trust you with the whole FODMAPS/DF/GF world of cooking. You are my first a go to girl when I first started the low FODMAPS life. I used to full on food prep but I do it a little different now. Plan shopping list and breakfast/lunch/dinners for the week for my husband and I. I will make abit extra at dinner for lunch the next day and plan snacks for the week also. Please continue your food prep/what I eat in a day videos. So awesome! Xxx
I just want to say how thankful I am for your videos! I recently got diagnosed with IBS and figuring out the low fodmap diet has been a challenge. I am sooo very happy to have found your content!!:) <3
These kind of recipes are just what i’m looking for. They look incredible so i’ll definitely try them out. Thanks Becky.
Sorry to hear you weren’t feeling great. Lately what I’ve found helped was to include more soluble fibre foods, & also (‘low residue’ for a while) so for example if i was having eggs for breakfast; i would also have a tsp. of powdered psyillium husk in water with some orange squash & lots of water and then i had 2 carrots juiced and 1/2 tangerine orange in the afternoon, (I keep the pulp in it too) then a banana later on. I think the trick is to base all your meals & snacks on soluble fibre foods. Having more soluble fibre in relation to insoluble fibre is really supposed to help. i pick the low Fodmap foods from this list. https://www.helpforibs.com/diet/fiber1.asp Hope it makes a positive difference for you too. x
I have ibs since 7 year. I’m continusly 24/7pain but I never fellow the deit. now I subscribe to ur channels nd fellow the deit proprly may b it work
I don’t use a microwave so can you bake this mug cake in the oven
You make this pain in the a….diet look really easy and fun.All those recipes look delish and I will def try making some.I only wish we had access to Low Fodmap stock and other food here in Canada because making sauces and especially soups that I absolutely love is turning out to be impossible,so I just make it with soup base and live with the after bloat.AND YES please share more videos like this one!
This was a lovely video, Nisha. I had pretty bad IBS problems awhile ago, but with a healthy plant based diet and stress reduction, I’ve been able to reverse it. I am glad these tips have worked for you as well.
I have a big batch of strawberries and I wasn’t too sure about how to eat it all on time. But I’m going to make your compote right now! Tha ks so much great video as always! Hope you’re feeling better soon! Greetings from the Netherlands
I made the Stir-Fry LAST WEEK and it was Amazing and I really enjoyed it so much that I made it for three more days! ;D and today I made the Chocolate Chia & Orange Porridge and I really like the taste of the orange with the chocolate!, Thank you for the amazing recipes!
I had a strawberry, I’m feeling a little squirrely because of it. But, I had a portion of gluten free oat meal, one sliced strawberry with that mixed with hemp seeds, and a swiss cheese grilled cheese with spinach and chicken combined with a boiled egg. I eat a big enough breakfast to last me until eleven for lunch. I usually eat the same breakfast, but I’d love to have pancakes again someday.
These recipes are legitimately awesome. Most of them are so simple in that they don’t require any fancy equipment or ingredients they can easily be put together in a hostel kitchen which means I’ll get to try them sooner rather than later. See if I can fix myself a mug cake tomorrow.
I can’t eat half of this (vegan life haha) but meal prep videos just make me feel things!
