Thanks for the inspiration man! I got inspired so hard I lost 70LBS!
My way works best:
Think that lifting will make you attractive towards girls, when it won’t work (just like me) you will put more effort in and work like a maniac. Worked best i’ve been mr olympia winner 10 times already full natty
I’ll give you a tip number 6.
Dress the part!!!
Put on your gym gear when you it’s time to workout, get out of your PJ’s when it’s time to work. I found this to be a great little hack to get you going. I HATE running, but no matter how much I don’t want to do it putting on my running shoes the point of no returrn.
Goals are good for beginners however as cazy as it might sound i believe goals shouldnt be a big prioirty. Lets face it, at some point you are simply going to run out of realistic, attainable goals unless simply maintaining can be a goal you can live with (which is fine, it’s just not a “goal” per se). Emi has a great bod so whats her “goal” gonna be 5 yrs from now, 10 yrs from now, 20 yrs from now? See my point. Simply adopting and sticking to a healthy fit lifestyle is the key.
There is a park with a 1.25mi path that outlines it. I walk a lap, then take my 2x15lbs dumbbells and walk another doing curls, tris, presses, and various swings and shrugs (it’s a killer) and things I’ve learned from watching you. I follow that with a 3rd lap, stopping at each of the 28 benches and doing pushups, various squats and leg lifts. Takes about 1.5 hours, and it may actually be a better overall workout than I get in the gym, though not as singularly focused, and chest is not taxed that greatly, but it is definitely a work out. Keep up the motivation, we all could use a little right now.
My go to motivation has always been watching your videos I always get the feeling of WORKOUT TIMEE whenever I watch fitness youtubers
“I don’t have a bra on so hopefully you can’t see my tots”
“Just kidding I don’t have any”
I related soo much
when she said 10:30 i just had to burst out

I like your headphones, what are they called?
Talking from experience because of my depression and anxiety
Been locked up does does play with your mind
Agree 100-percent about weather
but Britain has some pretty bad weather which affect mental health like you said so it’s not always a good option to get out of house
I think what you basically saying is that you need a routine
Usually if you write down what you going to do for the week
That helps you remind yourself that you got a routine to keep going to
It’s amazing how many of us skinny guys grow up to be more interested in fitness than we have ever thought we would be
I don’t know why but most of these fitness youtubers had muscles and nice physique before they even started. You guys got good genes.
Just remember CrossFit = fucked up body before retirement age (and how to do cheat pull-ups).
Hannah, about carrot are “healthy carbs”…. All the carbs are healthy ❤️
Man watching your video for the 2nd time today. I just love your videos.!!!!!:D
This is great. In the last 5 years, I started going to the gym twice but both times, it lasted less than one year. I’m hoping to start once again and go all in. This was very helpful. Thank you.
I really like the calendar method and I do think it’s very effective. I hate breaking streaks. It’s the same reason I keep a no-fap days tracker. Whenever I get an urge, I look at how far I’ve come and instantly boost myself to get rid of those negative feelings/thoughts.
I love your workout videos. Can you please do more full body hitt workouts, and also one for love handles
Just subscribed to your channel, really great content. I was about to give up and use some of that “vitamin S” but after watching your videos I decided to walk the walk without it. Thank you very much
I jus finished LOCKE&KEY tooooo… it’s onnn. But if u haven’t watched UMBRELLA ACADEMY u need to. This quarantine got me watching all of Netflix oml
Great video! I really liked your first point about not jumping in but easing into it. This can be translated into so many areas of one’s life as well (relationships, eating habits, meditation, or any goals for that matter) I might make a video about this in the near future!
How…do you not have more subscribers!? This is SERIOUSLY an AWESOME CHANNEL!
Dang Scott, the traps are really shining through. Looking great
I always love these kinds of videos because they also can be used in other similar activities like Art!
The thing for me is the diet. I’m a vegetarian and I find it hard to combine that with training. I don’t know how to keep the habit
Wow I love how you said you’ve made working out a habit such as brushing your teeth and you don’t need motivation to do it as it’s just a part of your lifestyle THANKS this advice is gold!
Even the top athletes get demotivated, everyone does, but its what makes them champions, the will power to do it anyways
If you are looking for motivation in Fitness you won’t do this shit long. Truth is motivation will come and go over time, 50% of the Time Fitness is just doing and not thinking…
I am lucky enough to have a home gym set up, so I have stuck with my regular routine. But that doesn’t mean that I am not getting nervous or anxious at times during this lockdown. So when I am I go do as many pull ups, dips and plank for as many (as long) as I can… let’s just say I have done a lot of extra pull ups, dips and planks the last couple of weeks.
It would be nice if it wasn’t 40 degrees and raining for the last 5 days, really hoping that breaks soon so some fresh air and sunshine can come into play.
So you’re saying that my ultimate (and for now, only) goal of being able to remain a formidable force and strength inspiration for youngsters on judo tatami up to my sixties isn’t specific enough? Darn, I guess I’ll aim for 130 kg bench for starters then (no idea how far that would be with my current 5x5x100).
I started lifting to feel better about my body. I continue lifting to keep the feeling up. Like any addict would.
Mines getting pretty bad. My gym is in my room. The room I sleep lmfaoo
Hannah is living her life, is motivated and I have School tomorrow… Love that still love her vibe and what she said and her whole “motivation speech”
Honestly, I am the exact SAME way with sunny days. Like what is it?! So glad I’m not alone
how about you making a program here scott? daily workout (day 1, 2, 3, 4…) but your program. even when it’s rest day it’s still workout, but it’s only light/ stretch.
I am fortunate to have a job while going through all this. Every hour, or so, I do a set of squats, pushups or situps. During lunch I get caught up on yard work.
scott your traps are massive that nucleus overload payed off!!!
Yes great advice “Scot” I’ve been looking for a good motivational video but the none I found didn’t really give me the drive but this video you created touched on a lot of bad habits I’ve been getting into so gonna give this a tryout
Done my morning workout but after watching this I’m going for a run, thanks for the motivation yet again dude
Did you make your own fitness-of-the-day book or do places sell them?
Yeah I bought a Polaroid and have a Polaroid wall because of you haha
hard to decide what to do about calories when I’m at the end of my bulk and I don’t want to get any fatter.. but don’t want to lose my muscle. Hard to work out maintenance since my schedule is so different.
Doing bodyweight stuff at home now plus bands.
Any suggestions?

After going to the gym for 14 months, gaining 15 pounds (i used to be skinny), I’ve kind of lost motivation, going from 5 hrs a week (kept that up only for 1 month) to 2 hrs a week, because im not gaining much more weight (also because of my young age, 17 yo). This video helped me a lot, I set my goals for how much I wanna be able to bench/deadlift/whatever, and now I’ve been going 4 hrs a week, which I’m goddamn proud of. Thank you.

first of all i love you and always look forward to your videos!!!! also where did you get your exercise mat?
Usually when I’m trying to stop myself from eating junk food I just think, “do you wanna eat the snack, or BE the snack?”
It looks like a lot of us are going to be stuck at home for quite some time and at first it sounds amazing. But then after about a week or two you start to realize that staying motivated to do anything becomes very difficult. The lines between work, gym, fun and family time are now blurred and it can be very easy to lose your focus and motivation.
Guys, I’ve been working from home for almost the last 10 years and I can tell you that I personally have had season depression and extreme lose of motivation. It happens to everyone. So I came up with some quick tips to hold myself accountable and I know that if applied, they will keep you accountable and motivated too!
PS: If you decide to give your scale a name… I would love to know what it is… haha

i think i need to watch that little pre-workout pep talk every morning… i’m truly so inspired right now, thank you❤️
I’d be more motivated if I knew I was doing everything right.
when her alarm went off in the beginning I checked my phone bc I thought one of mine was going off XD
Thanks! this vid is really helpful but how many times do you exercise in a week?
last night I fully felt what you saying went to do my work out and was so unmotivated!!! I actually cried!! no doubt I did complete what I usually do on a slow day but it was really difficult! Thanks Scott you are truly awesome!!!
Hi Igor, big fan here. Can you make a video talking about maintance?… You gotta be always in bulking and cutting… or is it possible to have a “”ideal”” diet, that you can stay in shape, not losing or gainning mass??

thank you for this video!!!!was very much needed as i’m feeling really down and it takes all motivation away
i want to ask you Emi,can a change of life style also change your caloric needs????like i started eating enough during my summer vacation,so i was not busy and spent a lot of time at home,my only major activity was working out,but now i walk between home and school 4 times a day,( i eat lunch at home so i get back home on foot and then go again so it’s a total of 4 times)and i spend long hours studying, along side with 30 to 45 mins of workout 5 to 6 days a week (sometimes 4 when something comes up and i can’t workout),i noticed that i get tired easily, but my ED has been triggered with all ppl around me at school and i’m struggling not to restrict, but i’m making sure to keep eating enough,i’m just not sure if i’m restricting again or my body now needs more energy than before, thanks in advance!xx
You looked more like 170-180 in those early progress photos. 155 Ud be a stick at 6ft
Oh so this is the man that inspired Tyler the creator album.
thank you so much for the positivity hannah, youre such a ray of sunshine and truly helped my lack of perspective the past few months<3
Realistic, challenging and specific.

FunnyI just had my revaluation of my body statistic comparing March this year and yesterday (30/09). Almost half a year and my body statistic only shows minimum changes (1% fat loss, 1% muscle gain) and I was so frustrated and demotivated. I still am feeling a bit down and thinking about giving up but yeah, I do have a goal to achieve so better look back and see what I have been doing wrong then. Thanks Emi for the video
THANKS FOR THE TIPS. SUBSCRIBED AS I HAVE STARTED MY JOURNEY TO WEIGHTLOSS THREE WEEKS AGO. THANKS GREAT VIDEO
I also started with grappling/wrestling, and it has been a good boost for my pleasure! You can really use the strength you’ve gained at the gym
hi emi.. m worried i dont getting any change even i trying all your exercise guid me what should i do??

hi emi❤ i wanna ask if diet really cannot eat yummy food until we get the results?
I really need motivation right now because I always give up you look great girl ❤
Igor, I so wanna meet you someday lol you have been a HUGE inspiration, and I bought your programs and they changed my life in terms of how I build my workouts these days! You deserve millions more subscribers most definitely! You are 100% my favorite fitness youtuber!
I bought some cocaine to keep me motivated, but it’s complete Gahhhhhbage.
Idk why but I have been in the mood to watch Hannah during quarantine
What if I did everything the thumbnail showed? lol. I benched. I lifted. I ate and binged Netflix.
By far the best advice I’ve heart. Thanks Scott, I needed that
You don’t need motivation, you have to want to look good. It’s easy to do something you know you need.
the right words i needed to hear right now cause i feel shit not only that my parents always insult me of how i build like this and what not and starts comparing me to others this just made my day really appreciate you
Having athletes or whoever to look up to also helps. Fitness channels like this, Athlean-X, Mike Thurston, and Jeremy Ethier really help because they help us focus on what’s necessary.
Hah listening as I work out and hear cool runnings. I’m pretty sure that was it. Haven’t seen that movie in a loooooooong time. Like since elementary school.
I also post what I eat everyday on my instagram stories hope that would give you some meals ideas and tips!

I started because my ex broke up with me after 7 years and I realized I wasnt getting the full potential out of life. Fitness wasnt to look better perse, allthough it was a bonus. But in that first week I was laying in my bed, feeling sad, I said I was gonna change things. Didnt know were to start, so I set the goal to get into shape. For me the goal wasnt that important. It was about saying I was gonna do something and follow through on it. The discipline to go every day. To work towards that goal and not half ass it like I normally did and not quit after 3 or 4 weeks.
It gave me a routine, it gave me more self esteem when I saw results and it gave me the energy and courage to take on more things. Of course at first I thought I might be able to get her back if she saw the change. But it felt good, it became less for her, more for myself. I dont want to look good for girls, but sure as hell dont mind that it helps. However its more for myself, this is gonna sound weird, but I enjoy looking in the mirror now and for so many years I only felt almost disgusted with myself. Also being able to walk up the stairs without being out of breath and actually being able to bend down to tie my shoelaces is great. Overall being fit and just happier then eating a bag of chips and hanging on the couch each night. I enjoy life better now, weirdly enough I still feel lazy sometimes, but I know if you spend every night on the couch for a month you feel terrible. Working out gives you much more satisfaction in the long term.
Bullshit on the forgetting tobeat thing, atleast for me. I actually overeat out of boredom instead of forgetting to eat
I could be watching Gahhbage content but I chose to watch this. Thanks for the tips, Scott! This is exactly what I needed.
i seriously want to be your best friend i love your energy so much. So happy for you to be loving yourself
Hannah I wasn’t having the best day yesterday and I woke up super sad and it was cloudy (I kinda thrive in the sun too) and I had no motivation to do anything at all. But then when you started telling us that we’re amazing and beautiful and that we need to love life, the sun came out and I felt so much better. You inspire me in ways that you’ll never know, and just know that I love what you’re using your platform for! Love u sm

Wow. Scott has spoken a lot of truth over the years but — damn — he hit the nail on the head!
I was having a bad day and watched this video, I feel so much better now. thank you!
Thank you Scott for uploading this encouraging and helpful video, and many other videos that you have created and shared. Much respect.
I really enjoy your content and would love to buy the headphones that you always use in your workouts, would you be so kind as to share the name of the product and/or recommend any other headphones/earphones for working out? Thank you so much!
Thank you for this Hannah! It was exactly what I needed to hear today, you’re amazing and I love watching you grow in these videos.
does anyone know where Hannah’s circular shelf that is on her wall is from? I’ve been looking for one just like that!
Short summary ;-):
1) Set goals
2) Track progress
3) Change things up
4) Find inspiration
5) Don’t compare
6) Make it a habit
I think my tummy looks like yours from 2014 August, I have been working out consistently for almost a year now and i can feel the muscles underneath have grown bigger but the fat is not budging:(
Tip#6 Have a GF like mine that says as soon as I start losing my muscle she will find another guy:)
Why do they have that tool who produces “workout” videos advertised before a real trainers videos? I can’t hit the skip ad fast enough.
You are right bro… I always feel like relaxing when I workout… The environment probably just is not apt.. really helps
you‘ll love „the society“ even tho i‘m normally a big fan of sorta unrealistic shows this one is really good!!
I worked out proper for the first time today in a long time (friend has a home gym and is much, much more fit than I am). Was fun, right until I nearly blacked out and almost shit myself.
We Seth Rogans shouldn’t try to keep up with the Scotts of the world from Day 1.
Something to be said about the last point about remembering why you started is what brought me to fitness. I’ve spent the last 10 years focusing on music with the goal of playing in a band, putting out an album, and tour. I’ve played in many bands, but have had a main project since 2014, we put out an album last year, but I never got to tour because of our drummers lack of motivation and time for our band. It was so discouraging having spent nearly half of my life on this goal to fall short because of someone else. Now he’s leaving entirely and I have to start again from square one, which made me question why I was even doing it. I’ve been training at home since January, I’m seeing great results, and it’s something that only my own physical and mental limitations can get in the way of.
Can you please add me back on snap. I think you blocked me. mcgrath_mac
-thanks
Motivation advice from people with big fancy houses with big fancy home gym’s is just hard to take.
Hi Scott. When not motivated, I use pre-workout so I’m fired up. It works.
Great tips for staying motivated! Love your channel!:) Thank you for sharing!
You’re the best man, you really motivate me! And you’re smart and funny!!
Emi could you plz make A vdo on healthy foods which are available in each every country
And tell us whether green tea is good for health or not..
And yaa as you said..now i feel so happy when every1 compliments me nd praise me..
Thankuu emi for being a part of my weight loss journey…
#emi‘s fan
Hi emi, I really love all your videos and I pray I get to the stage you are right now with your body
I started working out believe it or not because I was sick of being beaten up by my brother
Do you work in a gym too?? If so how many days of the week do you go? I’m new to working out and I’m not sure how many times I should weight lift and etc…
Great tips scott! Honestly, one of the best video found by far for motivation and keeping gains. specially jumping on a scale and starting your day with some push-ups is a great tip. Thanks for sharing, stay healthy everyone
I spent a year paying an elite, pro bodybuilder to train me. I had already been working out consistently for several years, but didn’t have the body I wanted. This trainer owned a commercial gym and trained me 3 days a week to achieve my fitness goals. After a year of serious effort, many thousands of dollars and extremely strict nutrition, he sat me down and gave me the vitamin S talk. I looked better that I ever had, but was still far away from my body goals. Essentially, over 80% of the impressively hard bodies we see are on juice. You have to have amazing genetics to get to that level without them and it’s totally unrealistic for most guys naturally. Needless to say I was seriously pissed, but at least now I have a realistic view of all those enviable bodies I see.
Bodyweight x6 a week push/pull/legs still eating clean too and still doing tv and video games
Good tips man!
I’m trying to maintain the same habits/schedule I had when I was lifting. Get up at the same time, eat at the same times, bio logs (weight, heart rate, etc), caffeine at the same times. Basically everything I would normally do in 24 hours, minus the gym. It’s keeping me somewhat sane!
Why when she said it’s 8:40 am where she’s at and I looked at my time and it’s also 8:40 am
When will you release the pull home workout??? And you are great scott
Lost my gainsszzz already! Been jacking off too much and lost my motivation
I admire the attempts Scott. My work routine and eating schedule is still going even though I’m at home now but I am just not enjoying home body weight workouts at all and I hate cardio aside from rowing so I don’t enjoy running/jogging either, I have no access to weights and live in a small condo so I can’t put equipment anywhere anyways and not like I can afford it seeing as I live in an expensive city and rent eats alot of that. It was sad when they closed my condo gym, it didn’t have alot of weights or machines but it had something and I was okay with that short-term. I’ve just stopped now and hope things get better soon but seeing as how things are I don’t know if I’ll see a gym for a while but fingers crossed
Thank you for this video, Scott! I’ve been sitting around at home for two months now since my university is closed and though I still regulary find the motivation to do my workouts everyday and always look really forward to it, I feel like I’ve gotten lazy nonetheless. I use to stay in bed for almost half an hour after waking up and after that just watching series or YouTube but most importantly I stopped being aware of my caloric intake and what I eat. That doesnt mean I eat very unhealthy, but I dont care as much as I used to anymore, because I just got too lazy to put in the dedication that it requires for me, partly because I always feel so tired because I dont move that much anymore. So thank you very much for uploading this video, it really motivated me to get more productive and continue working hard for my goals. Many things you’ve pointed out are my goal to do the next time I wake up, as I try not to spend too much time in the bed or on the couch and focus more on what I eat:)
Keep up the great work! Greetings from Germany
i just watched this before my workout and you got me so motivated for my day ily!!
I am so relived I’m not the only one who awkwardly milly rocks
I tilled up about 800 sq feet of my yard, mixed in a truck load of compost and then spread grass seed. I feel like I got some good exercise.
I’ve been doing more work at home and getting more done as time’s gone along than in the past, which has helped me accomplish more outside than what I was accomplishing before when I was getting less at home.
It’s funny. I’ve been training for a about 4 years in total but the last year and a half were straight and consistent. My brother used to train with me (he’s strong as fuck) and he hadn’t trained in years. He finally started going back to the gym and training and we were doing deadlifts. I recently lost about 60 pounds and I was deadlifting 315 for 4 reps while we were training and he matched me for everything, including the 315 deadlift, he did twice and stopped because he didn’t want to do too much. Idk if you guys understand this, his first fucking day back he deadlifted 315, first day back. Wtf. Kinda hard to have someone who’s that much stronger than me as a training partner because he’s gonna surpass all my lifts in like 2 months, if that. Idk what to do
I play video games on easy mode because I suck. I feel personally attacked
Ok great, now I need one of these for how to stay on top of school work
I bought myself equipment with the aim of not having to go to the gym since it’s a 25 minute drive. Didn’t realise how much harder it’d be to motivate when I actually do just that. Glad I did though since you can’t get anything now without paying ripoff prices. Just the kind of video I needed.
Any small youtubers wanna be friends and support each other?
“like the tik tok man said” that had no business being so funny to me

Hi Emy, it’s Janice from Toronto. I have a really urgent question. I’ve been working out since this January and lost some weights and got some muscles. But last week when I did squats, all of sudden I got really bad headaches and lasted two full days. And I tried leg work out yesterday including squats.. again sharp pain from my brain took over me and I couldn’t sleep at all. I researched internet and found out it’s “exertion headache”??!! What’s that? Have u ever experienced this bad headache?? Should I stop all exercise? Should I lose all my mucsle? I am so sad.. please help me!!!
I love how Hannah is so positive!!!! God did lead me here to hear this ahhh! Yes predestination is so true.

Speaking of physique motivation in anime, you will definitely enjoy JoJo series
It’s all about behavioral conditioning. We associate certain behaviors with certain environments.
To stay motivated at home you have to liteeally recondition yourself psychologically. I find listening to music to be the easiest way to create a new association. Playing certain tracks lets my brain know it’s time to train regardless of location.
If you’re fortunate enough to have a backyard that’s an excellent place to train as well.
My family would say i look like a boiled hotdog if i asked them..
Hi, does anyone know where Hannah bought her “exercise mat”/yoga mat? I’ve been looking for one like that! I do intense workouts and my previous yoga mat was made of foam and meant for yoga… shit.
If you eat raw carrots you should actually pair them with a source of fat bc otherwise you’re not able to absorb & use the vitamins that are in the carrots:) and carbs are actually good for you as well and there’s no such thing as „good“ or „bad“ carbs. Food is just food, pasta is just pasta and pizza is just pizza. You can have pasta with veggies and tomato sauce which is a really healthy and balanced meal and not „bad“ or a „cheat meal“. Every food is good food!:)
Your family is so nice to each other, mines the total opposite
Hey @ScottHermanFitness, can you please give us your thoughts on Dynamic Tension (Charles Atlas workout). I was curious about what i could do while sitting down in front of my laptop for hours on end for work. Thanks
thank you mr. igor, you and omar helped me get super serious about body building and weight training
