Quick Pilates Workout For Beginners. Practicing pilates at home is a great way to get a workout in! Here’s a quick workout you can do right now that takes you through a few of the most basic and popular mat pilates exercises or try one of our free 10-minute pilates workouts!

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen that I’ve committed to a minimum of 10 minutes of exercise.While Pilates is a demanding workout, focusing on concentration and breathing, you’ll alsoneed to add in a cardio component to your fitness routine. Is it best to do this bare foot or can you do this outside in trainers?
Love these workouts but wondering if you’d consider stating how many reps of each move we’re aiming for? I’m finding myself either saving up my energy thinking we’ll be doing a ton of reps or using up all of my energy right away and then finding we’ve got a lot more reps left than I expected, does that make sense?
anyone have any solutions for if wrists arent that strong and start to feel fatigued while going through all these plank workouts.

I really enjoyed it as a morning workout. Some parts were a little challenging for me (like the side plank not sure this is what it’s called!), but I made it easier by bending the front leg and putting it on the floor in front of my body. I also really liked what you said about capturing the energy and using it to support ourselves throughout the day. Thank you for this new video!

I haven’t done Pilates since NOVEMBER!! thankfully I’m still flexible, since i cannot attend classes in the meantime, doing this every other day is beneficial? are 10 minutes enough?

Here from day 14 of the #2020challenge and I am so proud of myself!! This actually felt easy for me! I mean don’t get me wrong, I had to pause a few times to breathe and rest. But for the most part i was able to go through the moves without stopping!! Huge improvement for me. It’s a big deal.

yeah, thats me, covered in bruises after a small pilates class. wondering how i got here? Smacking myself against furniture at every exercise because my room isnt laid out like a canadian forest.

Ok so when I lift my right shoulder to my knee or do side crunches, I get a super bad nerve shock through my whole right arm. It’s a nerve in the shoulder and I’m not sure what this is or what I’m doing wrong. Is this normal? Should I ask a doctor about it? I’m a little scared to do certain exercises bc of this…

such a great worktout! And I really enjoyed that it was one without any form of planking because where my core is quite strong my shoulders are often to weak for all the planking involved in your core workouts. But other than that I really love your channel and your workouts have been a great help to my over the last 1,5 years, especially after my gymnastics injury last year, which is also the reason my shoulder (escpecilly the left one) is not that strong yet.

You are a wonderful instructor! I just started doing Pilates videos at home (newbie) and stumbled upon one of your videos…I subscribed immediately. I tried a few other instructors just to see what their style was like, and your videos are my favorite because of your personality, your pace and the way you describe each movement. Thank you so much for sharing your workouts you have a gift! I have a lot of old injuries from playing soccer through college, and your Pilates routines have already left me feeling stronger and more flexible without causing pain in my joints.
This for me is a wonderful and timely workout!! I’ve been terribly busy and always sit in front of the computer. I used to do Zanna van Dijk’s HIIT exercises but these days due to short of time I was looking for an easier and shorter exerciseeasy to carry out, less than 15 minutes, not too much effort yet still stretch and flex the muscles. Thank you adidas Women for posting this one!! I can do it every two hours and it refreshes me and warms me up in cold weather.

I suggest you rename this as a morning core stretch or slow morning stretch routine, because it is not fast-paced and does not incorporate any of the basic 10 pilates exercises. Thank you.
