How to Pamper Your Feet Post-Workout Use an Epsom Salt Soak for Blisters. If you have hot spots or blisters on your feet, add a half cup of Epsom Salts, bath Try a Foot Scrub. Use a foot scrub at the end of the soak to gently remove dead skin, sweat, and dirt.
You want to be Put Your Feet Up.After a long walk, try soaking your feet in warm water mixed with Epsom salts or a few drops of peppermint oil. I had a former nurse tell me I could sleep in the compression socks. But everything I found on the Internet says no don’t do that. What’s the real answer?
Thanks, Dr. Jo. Can you discuss removing compression socks. I don’t wear my socks as often as I should because I have problem removing them because of arthritis in the joints. I wear 30-40 strength and they are hard to remove. I have thought about the zippered type, but heard they are not as strong.

This was another great one! I have been trying to start up with a personal trainer since March! I had one session, then COVID hit. THEN, I was about to start up again when things settled a bit….and I broke my foot! ☹ I’m tired of the road blocks, so I found you! Thank you! At times I feel like I can’t support myself with the boot…like the birddog in this one. It was great when my good leg was down, otherwise I couldn’t do it with the boot down.

Great exercises however, the best way to exercise your feet is to get out of regular shoes and wear barefoot only shoes all the time. You need to realize that the shoe industry is destroying our feet and we need to go after that industry that make bad shoes.

I have suffered with really uncomfortable extensor tendonitis for 6 months now. I genuinely thought I was going to have to give up running completely, however, I have been doing these exercises for 1 week and this morning I ran 2 miles on grass, with no pain whatsoever! As a stroke survivor I have found that the foot on the weak leg (left side) has been getting very painful recently messing up the progress I have made with my leg I walk a lot better now with my walker with the help of physiotherapy and Doctor prescribed medication (muscle relaxer) but if the foot is not well it messes up the whole walking action which is discouraging. I have already started doing the strech of hand of toes and ball under foot intuitively because i felt it helps gonna include the third one also. Thanks again.:)

What if you have arthritis in the middle of your foot and you are flat footed?
So those good foam pads about 2 inches thick that people balance on, if your having a hard time moving your big toe independently, hang just your toes off the edge and try the first exercise. Really activated “stuff in my toes and up my foot to the flexors on the top of my foot” I went from 1/40 in my left foot big toe to 30/30, 2 attempts squeezing hard on foam with arch and toes down.with change of floor height from fore foot to toes. ( had biceps femoris distal avulsion reattached 1 month ago ) perenoeal nerve was effected during the incident. This is excellent just tinkering for better work. Can’t walk on toes or especially heels, I promised to listen.
These are great. I do ballet at RAD level and am preparing for pointe so am looking for some exercises I can do at home to strengthen my feet.
For the past 5 years or so the arch of both my feet hurt after I walked for 5 to 15 minutes, depending on how fast I walk. It takes me one hour to walk 20 to 30 minutes because it seems I rest more than I walk. Acupuncture has sometimes helped and sometime not. One Traditional Chinese Practitioner said it was not plantar faciitis. The arch hurts ONLY WHEN I WALK for 5 minutes, sometime longer.

Excellent video, thank you! My feet have a strange problem when they touch the ground, my big toes are not flat. They barely make contact with the ground except over a small surface area of the toe. As a consequence I often struggle with balance. In yoga classes, the instructor often tells me to press my big toe into the ground and while that might seem fairly simple and obvious to most people, I have a hard time doing so. When I run while playing football my legs hurt, is this the same thing?
And I think my muscles stecth too much like when I bend them sometimes while I’m trying to sleep

Just did this video & I loved it. I woke up in pain and not wanting to move. I forced myself to do it and feel better. Foot injuries can be very isolating because of limited mobility. But your videos help me see that I cam move & I won’t always be like this. You are a blessing
Can’t thank you enough for these videos. I was a very active runner and got a stress fracture on my third metatarsal in the middle of quarantine. I’d be going stir crazy without these workouts! Five more weeks to go in my boot, but I’ll revisit these even after I’m all healed up.

Hi Caroline, I am recovering from bunion surgery, now 2 week ago, and I was desperately searching for ways to stay fit. It will take a while before I can pick up running twice a week, what I used to do. I found out about your workouts and just finished this one. Caroline I had foot surgery 5/21 and have been doing your workouts since. Thank you for what you do. It has helped me so much mentally and physically! This total body workout is the BEST. I’m so sore! Love it!

In May, I fell on a hike and injured my meniscus without realizing it and then suffered a partial tear after pushing too hard running on my treadmill the week after. Needing exercise to thrive on a good day, the COVID crisis paired with no way to get my heart rate up left me in quite a state a month and a half later. Then, I found your uplifting chair cardio workouts and got moving again. I finally feel closer to myself and have found the patience to let my knee take the time it needs to heal because of your work. If you ever have the time to put out another HIIT workout I’ve memorized the one you have out and will put a new one to use right away! Thank you for the supportive, incredible, super necessary work that you do, Caroline!!!

I’ve been bummed for the last 5 weeks after a severe ankle sprain left me on the couch…eating chocolate chip cookies every night! I’m so glad to find your channel. I love the chair yoga video and even talked my coworker into doing it with me at lunch one day since we can’t do our usual lunch walks.

5 years ago I got a simple phone call from my son wanting me to come up to the park and help his cricket team who down on numbers for that day, this day changed the rest of my life. While running around the field I rolled my ankle and damaged the cartilage on my talas. A few days later I could not walk and required an operation they call a microfracture, lucky there was a new treatment called bst car-gel which was like glue in the hole. It’s still holding up however I am very wary of overuse of my foot which could wear out the microfracture so I have resisted all cardio except these floor workouts and the attack bike at the gym, that’s why I am here

My name is Vamsi and age 22..I have a problem mam MRI shows mild joint effusion and parameniscal cyst in my right knee….I was using medication mam from last month….mam is there surgery for this problem? Or or reduce through the medication.? Now inside of the right knee small swelling and pain mam what I do mam?

Hi Caroline. I am a third trimester pregnant mama with gestational diabetes. I have been working out to your seated diabetes exercises. Would you be able to make a video specifically for gestational diabetes late in pregnancy or would it be about the same as the seated exercises?
