Guys, burn fat does not need to be hard (I used to think it did). I’ll give you some advice right now. Search a diet plan called Custokebon Secrets. Seriously, that course has changed my entire life. I probably shouldn’t even be talking about it because I don’t want a bunch of other guys out there running the same “game” but whatever, I am just in a good mood today so I will share the wealth haha.
I focused on most of these things last year and had 45 pounds of water retention still and almost died because my kidneys were so bad and I also had a seizure. All from a genetic disease.

On Monday I was 169 which I haven’t weight in like 9 months!!! I looked in the mirror and I was SO FAT. For some reason my love handles didn’t come back? But my BELLY was HUGE. Another huge contributor nowadays is fasting and then eating big meals to break your fast. Your body is in survival mode from not eating all day and then holds all the sodium, and even carbs and fat. Best way to prevent water bloating is multiple small meals with low sodium and sugar or breaking your fast with something extremely light on the stomach.
You are not allowed to drink more than 250 ml on the last day of water cutting.

The problem with water retention is that if one is trying to lose weight the water retention can really fuck with your motivation.
For example when I was trying to cut 10 lbs in one month the water retention really fucked with my motivation. I was drinking the sugar free monster energy drinks to help give me energy and this was causing my water retention.
I thought it was really weird that I was busting my ass 2 hrs a day eatting a strict diet (yes food was being weighed) and still weighed the same after 1 month of this. So I cut the monster drinks out and sure enough, In a week and half I dropped 10 lbs. I believe I was losing the fat, but the water was taking it’s place.
There are some things you can do to help cut the water weight and to keep it off.
1).Stay away from the processed foods.
2).Keep sodium levels below 1500 mg.
3)Eat daily fruits and vegetables rich in fiber as well as seeds. The fiber helps to flush water weight from the body. Keep in my mind, to take a multivitamin as well because the fiber can flush nutrients from the food out with the water as well.
4). Stay away from the 0 calorie or artificial sweeteners. This stuff will blow you up like a Macy’s Day blimp. Keep to real sugar. Your body knows what it is and knows how to process it. Keep it minimum though. Excess sugar causes an increase in insulin production which in return causes water retention.
5). Drinking plenty of water or more water through out the day helps to cut some of the water retention.
6). Keep carbs to a minimum and stick with whole grains. I forget the math, but for every carb you take in the body attaches 3 grams of water to it.

When I’m doing my cut and have a cheat day I hold water up to 3 days then go back to normal…… recently I’ve done a water cut to get that shredded look ( won’t ever do again not worth it as a natty ) long story short I cut water for 3 days after the 3rd day I drank water and ate carbs like normal but it’s been 5 days and I’m still holding about 5lbs of water!

Hi I have a nightmare issue with water retention. I have a lot of unavoidable stress and I am gaining two pound the weeks I am stressed. Body fat reading also up one percent in a week. Today is the first day of me getting back on track and losing weight. I lost 165 lbs in 9 months but a few months ago i kind of fell off and started reverting to old habits. How about water weight gain dew to steroid medication? Because i was absolutely shocked when my doctor weighted me. That lve gained 3 pounds in a month. Id freaked because it was impossible to gain that weight in a short period of time. And i totally forgot about the steroid medication i was put on for an allergy.

I have a question…I am a 21 y/o female, 5, 9′ @ 135 lbs and I LOVE salt. I track my intake but it’s not exactly accurate because I add salt (a lot it’s embarrassing) to most things. So my question is, as an active person that has low-normal blood pressure and tracks macros…should staying below a certain number for sodium and sugar be a priority for me? I eat healthy and always go beyond my fiber requirements (eat lots of veggies and fruit, whole grains, etc.)…

I know when I get in the sauna, I’m in there for 20 minutes, my lips are like a salt block I must be retaining a shitload of water. 3x per week for the sauna and 20 minutes per should help.

i consume about 2000mg of sodium, i drink a gallon a day, i workout twice a day, 18-1900 cal a day, 130g protein 75g fat 165g carb (if those have anything to do with it) and i do one meal a day. however i’m always super bloated.???
Funny thing is I still have vascularity across my abs which was achieved from my cut but the definition of the abs and torso look blurry from the water lol I was going to run or sauna or even carb cut again to lose it but I guess I’ll just let my body do its thing. Thanks man

I stopped eating salt a few months ago and its the best thing that has ever happened to me. The fruits and vegetables we eat contain all the sodium we need. Not only do I feel like I look better without salt but most importantly I feel better
Did really good last week. Lost 3 pound. This week gained 3! DAMN IT!!!! I can’t eat much less, and feel halfway decent. At a 500-700 cal deficit. Has to be water. Maybe I’ll try to flush it out, but how do you do that without flushing all the electrolytes out too?

I don’t know if it will work but I’ve been drinking 7 litres of water each day while keeping my sodium intake normal.
I am going to try it but I suspect a metabolic problem I’m now bulimic and pushing my calories no support anorexia is a big joke I gained weight on 1400 calories and I couldn’t take it. It’s actually weight stays around after my hips and arms are growing and growing. Running burns nothing and I’m five foot three. It’s driving me insane I doubled in size maybe I’m thirsty but it’s hard I’m in tears right now
I drink about 30-40 oz of coffee a day to keep myself going through school and work, is that a factor in my water weight? I usually drink enough water daily and have started going to sleep regularly. Should I cut out coffee completely or is there a certain amount I can drink without it being bad o my body?

Man i have a big problem with waterretention during summer. I even do fasted workouts first in the morning when during a cut which is hard as F** but even though I reach a good amount of definition in my back, my arms, shoulders and legs, my stomach just wants to retain water and all my abs magically go away and this just sucks. I have done everything, but I heard that maybe in my case manual lymphatic drainage could eventually solve this water retention mess. You see guys work out lesser than you but they reach definition much faster while i get defined in every part but for my stomach which is really frustrating. What do you think about manual lymphatic drainage? Could it help after all I have tried?

Green tea (actual teabag) witch no sugar added helps a lot. And as stupid as it sounds lettuce is like the best thing to lose water weight. Just add lettuce to your mean with onions and tomatoes. And run at least 1 mile every day with a jacket on.

Yes, I too am guilty of jumping through weight loss plan to others as well, I do believe that I need to have tested every single fat loss program that was available, but eventually not one of them made it easier for me to shed and keep the weight off. im trying the ‘cran water’ method, its a tablespoon or more of pure cranberry concentrate in the 64oz of water, supposedly helps flush out toxins, etc

Very informative!! What about Fiber Capsules such as Psyllium HusK? I cannot have any form of green veggie due to extreme intestinal gas pain, so I have to take those capsules to “keep things moving”…. The capsules are making me hold a few pounds of water weight, and I can definitely see it hanging around my lower abdomen. I drink 2 Gallons of water a day on the norm, will my body adjust to capsules? I started them about 3 days ago

I’m not entirely against water retention. Makes the chest look bigger for women anyway. Not so great for the abs however.

When working 12 hour manual labour shifts as a factory operative, I use to drink x3 1.5L bottles of water in a work day, and probably about another 1.5L of fluid after work. So I was pounding around 6L a day (UK) for 4 days straight, then on my off days, I hardly drank anything in comparison, because I wasn’t doing anywhere near the level of exercise.
But man.. That’s a lot of water 2 US gallons is just over 7.5L, I know how much 6L feels like in a day, Id struggle to get in 7.5. 6L was a lot of water.
