I am definitely going to be making quite a few of these recipes!
New subbie as of today. Thanks for sharing. I knew that about hormones/antibiotics because I live on a dairy farm. Also nonGMO is a gimmick for most things too. Like dairy, cows aren’t genetically modified and the regulations don’t restrict their diet for that label either.
Yay aldi! Now I know what to get when I go for low fodmap thank you!!
I think Janice should be slap first of all she’s always cheating
Omg I’m subscribing bc I like you of course but I also loooove veggies and I’m not big on fruit like it’s a strain for me to eat fruit, I put it in smoothies to make it easier, but I rarely eat it outside of smoothies
Commenter:………. what should I say
Commenter: uhhhh maybe this? Wait but what if everyone hates it well I mean?
Life of a commenter
I find it interesting that you reference the book wheat belly & still hold the belief that gluten isn’t necessarily bad. If you’ve read Grain Brain you will discover this is factual, based on scientific research, that yes, gluten is EXTREMELY bad for us.
Paul:I will just eat sauce and cheese I will be good!
Me:>:33 HOW IS THAT NOT ILEAGLE
Just found your channel! I have fibro+hypermobility. I had to remove almost all gluten and added sugars to manage my pain…
I make baked “breaded” chicken with coconut flour (using a butter/ghee+Dijon mustard mix for the pre-flour dip).
Also, nutritional weight and wellness’ website has a great recipe for snack-sized meatloaf. Ingredients are beef, egg, zucchini and wild rice.
Omg I have only watched a couple of your videos and I love them. I was just diagnosed with celiac disease so I’ve been looking up videos to give me ideas on things to buy plz keep making videos! ❤️
Long ago I used to love grocery shopping when I was single and I was buying for methe world was my oyster!! So flash forward now I have kids and it has become just a mandatory chore on the to do list!! It doesn’t help being gluten-free rules out whole areas of the store. Not complainingvery glad for kids and very glad I now know I’m gluten intolerant!!!
My whole family is gluten-free except me so I kind of know what they’re talking about because There is only gluten-free stuff in my house
so i came to this video after my husband now has celiac disease and you didnt help at all… you were just condescending
Love all your information and videos, my only advice would be if you want to grow your channel and keep people around, invest in some better audio! Consistent good sound would make a HUGE difference! Great job ✨❤️
Jeddah said i never cheat and said the only ones that allowed to cheat is me and is this the look of the face of the cheater
Everyone: Hmm, I wonder who’s gonna win this challenge
Me: Stares at Jeddah
I really enjoy grocery shopping too Rachel!!!! LOL I feel the same way.. you are not weird at all!!
I absolutely hate grocery shopping! I wish I enjoyed it like you do lol. I think I hate it so much because it wears me out! I also have fibromyalgia, along with hyper-mobility. I’m almost 24, and I never thought I’d say that going to the grocery store tires me out! I live alone and on the second floor of an apartment complex, so I have to carry groceries up stairs.. that definitely adds to my hatred of grocery shopping lol. I’ve been a subscriber of yours for probably about a month now. Thanks so much for the awesome tips and inspiration! I know I need to eat healthy, I just have to actually do it.
Hi Rachel! Love your channel! I am grain free / dairy free due to Rheumatoid Arthritis and appreciate others taking control of their health.
Just found out my wife is allergic to wheat, sesame seeds and shellfish so this was super helpful! Thanks!
I’m surprised that Amira was not the one that burnt the pizza
Hi Rachel! I just love your videos. Don’t worry about not uploading consistently. From my perspective, even though I like watching your videos (and get excited when you upload one) I respect and appreciate you more for not being a full time you tuber. Having a real job makes you much more relatable, and likeable IMO. I’d rather see videos you want to do, instead of just throwing something together like other do. =) On a side note, the bolthouse farms classic vinaigrette does not have yogurt…it’s mine and my husbands favorite, and that’s coming from lifetime Ranch dressing fans before going dairy free. Classic vinaigrette ingredients: REDUCED ACID PINEAPPLE JUICE FROM CONCENTRATE (WATER, REDUCED ACID PINEAPPLE JUICE CONCENTRATE), BALSAMIC VINEGAR, NATURAL FLAVOR, SALT, GARLIC, EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, XANTHAN GUM, RED BELL PEPPER, ONION, FLAX SEED OIL, SPICE. Have a great weekend keep up the good work!
There’s gluten free bread, pasta, biscuits, and so on. There are gluten free breadcrumbs They make things like this from rice flour, quinoa, almond flour, and stuff like that
my recent health condition I have to eat more gluten free items. I have replaced bread with lettuce or cabbage. I love bread but, the gluten free stuff is hella expensive.
When your not actually allergic to gluten, vs me who is really allergic to gluten…
Oh my God I absolutely LOVE grocery shopping! Like love it. I spend so much time browsing and checking out labels and I love every minute of it haha. I’m so glad I’m not the only one!
Hey +thepainfreekitchen I love your grocery haul vids and your recipe ones too. I look forward to them and like to watch as I do my own meal prep in case I get some ideas! Just wondering what your fave brand is for non dairy milk? it’s quite hard to find a pure brand here in Scotland so wondered if you have any suggestions. At the moment I use Almond Breeze.
That always makes me mad, I’d take them back my store has always let me replace it if that happens. Usually doesn’t but every now and then things slip by. Man I wish I had a publix I’ve heard they have great prices but didn’t realize how great. Midwest doesn’t have them, and my town doesn’t have any good priced grocery stores. I spend about 200 a week but that is for a family of 4 and we eat all 3 meals from home and snacks. So I think that is a decent price?? I’d love to get it cheaper but not sure what to cut. It’s my goal for 2020 to get it to 170 with out cut out so much we have to stock up each grocery trip. Does that make sense?? Oh and Yes I’ve love more meal prep.
Just an FYI it is always A good idea to pay attention to serving sizes when you are comparing macros for different brands, I have found many times that companies often try to make somethings look healthier by cutting the serving size in half especially when there is A huge difference like those mini rice cakes.
It would be awesome to see some workout videos, or anything really, your A very soft spoken and pleasant person to watch-
Love the video:)
Yeah I learned that I’m still allergic to wheat and want to eat stuff like bread. I came to this video hoping that as a college student I wouldn’t have to spend an arm and a leg to get stuff that I can eat with my allergy.
Coming from someone that has Celiac Disease, this was extremely insensitive. You shouldn’t mock someone for something that they can’t help.
I’m a small youtuber and I have not feel like recording either but I dont want to disappoint my few subscribers I have. So I know your struggles.
But I hate grocery shopping . Also I love buying simply truth
U people are so stupid and u don’t even know how to cook but how will u even live without knowing to cook
You should order Chipotle before the challenges start and then maybe you’ll win the challenges and you can bring your gluten-free food
I love grocery shopping, and I am okay with going alone! I even prefer it:)
I love to grocery shop too!!! Sometimes walking down every isle helps me get out of a rut and think of new things to make!!!
Becky and Mark great video!!! Love the glasses, I wear contacts. That was cute of the babies on the carrots. Haha
I do feel for Mark because when I find something gluten free, I frown when I see it has milk in it.
Your nails are so pretty Becky!!!
I wish we had a free from isle but we don’t. The free from, items are spread out all over, I have to search all over!!
Also btw is your eggs not in a refrigerated isle? Xx.
Sorry for such a long comment.
These look sooo good! Love the tofu. How do you reheat your meals?
But I mean the challange is called last to eat gluten soo I mean Paul didn’t eat gluten soo I don’t think he should have been out. And also Jeddah always eats gluten free soo it should have been Charlie vs Ameerah vs Paul. ✨
Aldi is great. The tempura chicken and the fish goujons are awesome. Plus a lot of stuff clearly states GF on the front, which is a big help
Please do more of these. I subscribed. A lot of family budget meal preps rely on wheat, corn and tons of sugar so
… Thank you! Your dog is cute.
What kind of pans do you have they look like stone and I love it!! Love the meal preps I hope you do more, I’m not big on yogurt so I have been prepping my own egg bites in my instant pot.
Get a bag of plain, unsalted peanuts or almonds, get yourself a grinder and make your own nut butter. That’s what I do.
Not to hate on Jeddah but if you think about it Jeddah is the only person who probly could win in less another person went totally gluten free so the hole thing was riged.
There is gluten-free Doritos. I really like them. They’re kind of spicy actually just like a Teensy tiny bit. My friend said it was way too much spice and I’m like, it’s not even supposed to be spicy. I ate them on my field trip and I even have a whole bag of them. They’re really good and they have a lot of cheese
Let me tell you how I shop on a budget with only $100 a month while being GF. I was diagnosed with Celiac the beginning of this year. Well, they told me I have a slight allergy to Gluten so they said I am Celiac, because I seem to be doing better on my GF organic meatless diet. Now, I buy a lot of GF pastas. My favorite places to get those are Walmart and Big Lots. You can do so many different ideas when it comes to pastas. I also shop a lot at Dollar Tree. And because I have this thing called a Husband, when I do cook with meat, I portion size my meat. Which also helps on a tight budget.
These videos are amazing, new subscriber here be great if you could subscribe back:) xx
She needed to microwave it longer then it would have tasted good these people are dumb
Love it! Yes more meal prep thank you! You’re Awesome with your craft! I just followed you on your Instagram too!
I enjoy grocery shopping, you aren’t alone there girl. & YES green apples > all other apples
Let me know if you want me to do more of these meal preps!
Why paul need to get pastaa every single video umm..
And this video its not fair cause jeddah always eating gluten free food and why charlie out the challange not even start yett umm so weird but ok.
Uhhh amira like give here all the like ten of chocolettes and ask for a slice 7n return
omg I saw sweet potatoes and my jaw dropped! sweet potatoe soup anyone?
Girl, your arms/shoulders!!! Killing it!
I’m starting to love the grocery store more. My fiancé LOVES wandering around them so I’m learning to enjoy it more haha
lol I think I’m the only person in the world who thinks plain tofu tastes “good.” I mean I agree that it has basically no flavor but I love the texture of it on its own out of the air fryer where it’s a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and I totally eat a few pieces right out of the air fryer!
Gluten is way better than gluten free but i like gluten free but gluten is better
I will give u all some budget..
Squize 1/2 lemon and an orange, add water to complete 700 cl, add 2 table spoon of coconut oil, 1 tea sp honey, then 1/2 coffe spoon sodium bicarbonate and 1/2 coffe sp sea salt. Shake well, and add 1 serving of vanilla protein powder. Shake again. There you have your ready to go, easy to digest, no bloating, all macros hydrating electrolite and gluten free meal replacement / performance drink. Drink fasted or far from solid meals. Its about 450 cal. Your welcome.
Jedah your mug cake you either put to much water or you needed to put it in the microwave for longer
Paul will do any thing just for some dang noodles he who’d rather have some dang noodles than win 10000 Beautiful money
I have been looking at the grocery store every time I go for Cream of Rice cereal. My favorite breakfast ever was Cream of Wheat with a little coconut palm sugar in it or maple syrup, or to be real sometimes both. Since going GF I have missed it so much. I may just have to break down and order it online somewhere. I love grocery shopping as well. And yes to more exercise videos! BTW, I make my own PB at home with plain roasted peanuts and my kids think it’s the best ever. It is the EASIEST thing ever. I’ve never tried almond butter though!
Omg the mustard salad dressing sounds so good!! I love watching food hauls, so interesting to see what others eat on a regular basis, you know!? I don’t always by organic either! I go by price! Lol
So I LOVE grocery shopping, it rivals my love of the gym. It’s a world of creativity & endless possibilities. And YES to the sciencey (that’s a word right ) workout videos…shoulders please…cause I really DISLIKE training them so any inspiration would be so appreciated. FYI, I love your chatty videos food hauls. Thanks for the great content and inspiration.
I knew it that they couldn’t use hormones but I think as get more concern about their meat they started advertising it more.
super to see you both and thankyou love you friends in bulgaria hugs x
Costco’s Kirkland brand has peanut butter that’s just peanuts and salt!
I love it!! I really like sandwich recipe, so simple but so amazing. Thank you!!
I could live at the grocery store lol. I love going, and always go by myself so I can look around in every isle for new stuff:D
So many negative comments. She makes a point that no one else is making. Eat produce/real food wherever the fuck you are. She’s speaking to a wide audience and she’s trying to help people help themselves. People need to stop being so freaking sensitive.
Hi Rachel, just found your channel and find your videos so helpful. With my PCOS, psoriasis and Hypothyroidism, I’m trying to do gluten free and dairy free since I noticed, especially with gluten based foods I’m getting headaches and rashes. Hope you’re well! Ttyl
Great haul! I love reading labels in the store too. I found Adams brand peanut butter is just peanuts and not even salt added. I didn’t love it at first, but its the only one I buy now.
Ok so why should someone want to pay more just because it says natural cage free? Keeping the price low for a dozen eggs or chicken breasts. I don’t do organic either because I am cheap.
This was the most pointless and uninformed video I have found yet.
Courgettes
funny isnt….2 years later…and out of the blue, ive just found you
and am very happy about it.
i like your brutal honesty xxx
Hi, I love you!! I’m also dairy-free/gluten-free/wheat-free because of Lupus. It completely changed how my body digests food. I adore your hall! You reminded me that I used to love rice cakes lol I really appreciate your channel. I’m still getting used to changing my diet so this is very helpful.
Just found your channel, very cool meal ideas ♥️ I’m just learning about fodmap and hope to make my stomach happier with one of your recipes
Ameerah you do know there is gluten free chips also Paul you could have gotten more than just cheese and sauce you could have gotten candy like ameerah plus you were in the candy isle and you can’t say this was not a very fair challenge you should have gotten more food
Omgosh this came at THE most perfect time!! Thank you so much!! Ive been feeling confused and lost for meals to try. Its been chaos for me . Love your blog and its so good to see ya here too!!!! Thank you♀️
this title should be different: something like A Couple Tips to Ideas about Gluten…..or something……….I don’t feel this was very helpful at all and mostly condescending like the other people are mentioning. You might try a different approach if you are trying to convince people to follow what you’re saying.
Jeddah only did the challenge because she can only win the gluten free wow
Absolutely love/enjoy your videos! Found you when I started my gluten free journey after finding out I was allergic. Thank you so much and keep the recipes coming, love them!
Paul: Nothing is good without noodles.
Me: Why are you digging into Amerasian candy?
Once again, thank you Becky! These videos are really helpful ❤
Yes. Sad but true. Advertising lies. You have to know the truth Never trust the package.
Wow! That Marianos looks amazing. I have yet to visit one because we have Jewel practically next door. It’s super convenient, but I gotta tell ya the selection sucks. I really love grocery shopping tho
‘it’s like frozen ice’ as opposed to melted ice which is water
Like paul just get something different that’s why u never really win
Yes please more meal
Prep I am always looking for more ideas. Great recipes by the way!
Also take those potatoes back you can get your money back that’s gross
I’ve been following you for years! Love your content. I’m wondering what brand is your air fryer, and what brand of baking sheets & pans do you use? I’ve been wanting to get an air fryer and upgrade my pans and would love some ideas. Thank you!
If jeddah know that her browine brittle has milk in it and she doesn’t likes milk
I’m so excited!!! This is what I have been looking for! Make more!!!
Hola! Me encantan tus videos, aunque tu voz se escucha muy baja, bs!
Loved this Taralynn! Unfortunately, I have purchased my fair share of expired products at Publix, but if you just show them the bag and receipt they will credit you or let you get something else!
I really enjoy your vlogs. I know how you feel about filming out in public. But I guess that is the new normal.
OMG, we live in the same town! Those roadworks are such a pain. Looks like we also shop at the same Aldi.I’m also a lactose and wheat intolerant vegetarian. FYI: Yogurt with active cultures, mature and blue cheeses and goat cheese and milk are all naturally low in lactose. Personally I can’t drink low lactose milk as following gastric surgery I’m intolerant of sugars which lactose is converted to by the enzyme lactase which is added to the milk. So also follow a low sugar diet. ❤❤❤
I’m allergic to wheat and gluten and I have Celiac’s disease so this is just normal for me
Why would it be hard for Jeddah she can eat what she eats in a daily base
Paul you can’t say “it was not a very fair challenge “ why did you just get sauce and cheese you could have gotten more food it’s technically your fault for not getting anything as a back up
How many times does Jeddah say does this look like a face of a cheat
Just found your channel and LOVE it, you seem so authentic and real. I really appreciate someone on Youtube really being aware of diet and true health, that someone counting macros can also be gluten free/organically aware.
My family and I are gluten, dairy, soy, and corn free and we are all SO much healthier for it!
Also, I LOVE grocery shopping!
Love these videos! I am gluten and dairy free, plus mostly plant based, these videos are awesome!
Love going through the grocery store and looking at all the labels and finding new things! I wish we had that store in Jersey, healthy store brand foods at really good prices!
Hi jeddah, Paul and Ameerah I am a huge fan I really like noodles paul I really like playing with slime Ameerah and I want to try gluten free stuff jeddah
I like I using InstaCart also but there is something about being able to go to the store and look at the actual product.
Trader Joe’s (if you have one near you) has some good dairy free and gluten free items!
What a fun video. Grocery shopping is fun for sure as long as the kids stay home. I also think organic is gimmicky.
I have just recently been diagnosed with wheat intolerance. So when your title suggested gluten free on a budget I thought brilliant. I spend quite a lot of money on gluten free products here in the UK. Your video unfortunately did not help but it was nice of you to take the time.
I’ve avoided Aldi as I didn’t think they would have much in way of GF…looks like they have more than I thought. Those Mince Pies are the best I’ve ever tasted..even better than ones with Gluten!!
This wasn’t helpful at all!. I have to eat gluten free.. You should have focused more on what meals we CAN make! Instead of that we shouldn’t be eating “gluten free” marketed items… Ugh. I don’t care whether or not those items are healthier than the original.. How about some budget-friendly meal ideas using all the fruits/veggies and rice you talked about?! Total waste of 5 minutes.
why don’t you take some think als in a challenge Paul
Tip diced beef or casserole beef is always fairly poor in a stew or casserole. It’s best to get a join of beef and cut it up into bigger cubes. Better taste, not rubbery, stays tender. A little more work but worth it I think.
I love mustard too so Im going to try it on salad. And I like seeing the prices when you grocery shop. This was an awesome video.
and being gluten-free doesn’t mean its healthy but think what you want to think
Yes to more exercise videos. I like seeing different workout splits or different ways to go about working different muscle groups. As for those store brand rice cakes, careful, I bought some from Kroger brand (which I think is similar to your store, they sell the same natural/organic line) and the package said “gluten free” but ingredients included barley malt. Umm… yeah, I always check ingredients but that time I just trusted the label. Don’t trust it!! The chocolate might be fine, it was a berry flavored one. Oh and you are not at all weird for liking grocery shopping. I love it, especially when I have the time to browse. Way too go filming in public, gaining confidence!! I would totally be the same way, apprehensive and whatnot, but you’ve got this!
Good luck with the butternut squash soup. It’s low fodmap but only at excessively low portions, and I usually have strong reactions to it.
My cousin and I would be good at this challenge because she’s gluten free and I was going over there before coroner virus and would stay for tea and have gluten free food with her
WHEN DID YOU START DOING YOUTUBE?! also where can I find your gummy bears recipe? You should make a video for Valentine’s day!!!
Apples are gluten free? No kidding. This was not helpful for gluten free at all.
I feel like ameerah and Jeddah finesse/trick paul when ameerah and Jeddah team up they give each other more than 1000 dollars but when ameerah or Jeddah team up with Paul they give him less than 100 dollars and a couple packs of pasta
Do you have experience with elimination diets? Do you have any easy to find and budget friendly gluten and dairy free items you love?
