DUMBBELL PULLOVER FOR CHEST
Video taken from the channel: Damien Patrick
Step-By-Step Instructions. Place one dumbbell in each hand. Extend your arms over your chest with the palms facing each other.
Keep the elbows slightly bent and soft. Keep a strong back and core while you inhale and extend the weights back and over your head. And the dumbbell pullover is a darn good exercise for building your chest and lats. So, stick to a rep range of between 8-20 reps with this exercise and you’ll definitely reap the hypertrophy benefits. 2. Increased Strength.
The dumbbell pullover positive isn’t the commonest train used to construct an enormous chest and lats. But we don’t all the time comply with the gang and we consider this motion completely has its place in a exercise routine. You can, certainly, put it to use to construct muscle and energy, so we’re going to point out you simply how to do that with a information on what you could know.Below are three (3) dumbbell pullover variations to build chest and back strength and hypertrophy and improve scapular stability.
1. Dumbbell Pullover on Stability Ball By performing the dumbbell.Variations. Incline Dumbbell Pullover: Performed by lying down on an incline bench instead. Bent Arm Dumbbell Pullover: Involves holding the dumbbell while keeping your arms bent slightly. Decline Bench Dumbbell Pullover: Done by lying down on a bench.
Variations Of Pullover With Dumbbell Options * Stretching exercises are not included in this list!Stretching exercises are not included in this list! Muscle building exercises at home: 4.How to Do a Dumbbell Pullover With Perfect Form Holding a medium-to-heavy dumbbell, lay with your back flat on a bench or stability ball. With your feet planted on the ground and your core engaged, extend your arms to the sky, cupping the dumbbell. The Technique To perform the classic dumbbell pullover, we recommend lying on a bench with your full back.
Avoid using the variation with the upper back across the bench, as it will bring you no major benefits, while it can affect your range of motion. Take a light dumbbell with both of your hands holding it against the plates above your chest. The traditional way to perform a dumbbell chest fly is to do the move while lying on your back on a flat or incline bench.
There’s also a standing variation. Read on.Pullover Variation #6 Glute Bridge Pullover. Here’s one of my NFL athletes, Jarius Wynn, performing the glute bridge pullover. The decline pullover is one of the most effective variations.
Unfortunately, when performed on a traditional decline bench, it minimizes one of the key benefits of pullovers: core and abdominal recruitment.Exhale and pull the dumbbell back over your chest, purposely squeezing the chest Hold for a second, and then repeat the exercise Do this movement with great purpose, focusing on the stretch and feel of the movement, keeping reps in the 12-plus range. If you have a history of shoulder problems, take great care when introducing this exercise.
Put your feet in standing position to anchor the lower portion of your body. Now, hold a single dumbbell above your chest. Use both hands to grip the weight under the weight furthest from your body. Your arms should have a slight bend while you hold here.Focus on deliberate breathing during the exercise, contract the lats and chest as hard as you can, and throw the pullover in as your 2 nd or 3 rd exercise of that training session for maximal benefit.
Start channeling Arnold, bros. Incorporate the pullover, and watch your physique make next. It’s important to perform a dumbbell fly with the correct form and technique so you’re targeting the right muscles.
Follow our steps and you won’t go wrong. The 6 steps to perfect a dumbbell fly: 1. Sit down on a flat bench with a dumbbell in each hand resting on your thighs. (The palms of your hands should be facing each other). 2.This is similar to doing the dumbbell pullovers but substitutes the dumbbell with a barbell.
Lie down perpendicular to a workout bench. Position your head and torso off the bench which will require you a great amount of balance. Contract your core muscles to further stabilize yourself.

Los de la vieja escuela la hacían y hasta la vez esta en el ejército para ESPALDA…..estos no saben nada de instructor personalizados…
To target the lats Elbows in, lead with the elbows, as you pull the dumbbell to the top point you drop your hips down at the same time to really stretch the lat. When you come back to the starting position, raise the hip back up.
To target the chest same movement but dont drop the hips, lead with your palms and squeeze the peanut in the center of your chest when you come back to the top.
Get those gains guys
I’ve never tried this before definitely gonna give it a try bro
Good video but you didn’t mention what part of chest it targets. I know the answer but just a heads up to you for all your viewing audience.
Quick question DP: Is it necessary to directly work the neck muscles? I added it on my shoulder day.
jeff looks small, but his biceps still larger (on proportion scale)
Awesome video i always felt like i was doing them wrong. So do you prefer to eat eggs or do you mix it with egg whites and why is it different
Damien is the best in explaining and performing the movements properly. I always learned and incorporated his techniques with my work out routines.
I like that comment:” wc to the channel where we take bodybuilding seriously ” .
Great Job The Champas always
serge nubret said it gives you a small waist and it should be done on chest and back days
This is of my fav exercises period! #TAF #CONQUERGROWREPEAT
I AM ALWAY’S LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR VIDS. VERY INFORMATIVE! MUCH LOVE*
Thanx a lot sir for the defference in the hip position while targetting chest
I watched the lat pullover and chest pullover. I can’t really see which one is different. I guess with the lats it’s more with the elbow and the chest is concentrating more on the chest. If I’m I’m wrong, let me know. Thanks
I thought i was being pulled over what’s with the siren in the background lol
Don’t say it i know i shouldn’t watch and drive
Whenever I’ve done these I always get some comment that it’s a back exercise and not chest. Thanks for posting
Can’t wait to try it! Bet there will be some funny looks at the people around me at the gym I’ve never seen these done before lol fuck ya can’t wait
No comment
Elbows in = back
Elbows out = chest
Is that the only difference? Does this exercise basically work both with a bit of emphasis on one or the other depending on elbow position?
I use to do this alot when i first started training but Is this exercise really needed dp?
so for chest elbows tucked in a bit more??? I do a lot of pullovers and was trying to firgure out how to target the chest moreon my own, kind of failed there ;/
1st Comment! Love this exercise. It obliterates the chest muscles!
thank you sir but the movement of the lower back it is hard for people who have lower back pain right???????
There’s many variations of the pullovers and you’ve barely scratched the surface! I’ll repeat many many variations!
Awesome bro thanks for all the pointers and saving me yrs of figuring it out myself
lol You got so big you have a tan line from your pecks on your biceps:)
you think you do a skype muscle show flexing your upper body. you would be compensated
Love this exercise, but u made it more better this dude just makes since so much detail
adding the breathing is difficult for me:/. thnx for the tip anyways
And Jeff still manages to look huge in between these guys.. geez.
Man you are very explicit in mentoring the technique of pulling over. I enjoyed and learned this technique. God bless you
Lol “Do not drop this on your forehead ladies and gentleman that would be a bad thing.”
this clearly works just look at Seth, a beast, great forward advice just how we gym guys prefer it, we do not need the ins and outs of scientific blah, blah, blah, talk to us like real people and you do just that. keep up the great vids
He was more cultural back then than now, no even single F word. Congrats, Sir
Hi John, Can eating at maintenance build muscle and can a person reach their natural growth potential eating at maintenance?
How are your elbows on this workout…are they locked straight or slightly bent…thanks huge fan been watching all your videos
You think these guys are huge? Imagine Athlean-X with Braun Strowman lol.
Keep that brain straight on that muscle every single rep. Don’t just go through the range of motion. Focus is key to optimization.
I have loved pullovers for a long time. Sometimes I would dip my hips all the time, other times I wouldn’t dip them at all. This variation is the most common sense and effective way of doing them. After trying them this way, it felt more comfortable, and the stretch was more effective. Within 3 weeks it improved my vacuum pose.
I watched a video by buff dude(s) and he laid ON the bench, and not across it. However, he indicated that your elbows should be inward to hit the chest, and outward for the lats. However, your elbows were pointed outward to target the chest. I also watched a Rich Piano video. And in it he, also, stated that the elbows need to point out to target the chest. So, is this guy from the buff dude(s) video wrong?
Straight to the point honest advice. Always gets me pumped to train. Have at it!
wow-
-thats exactley how i learned to do pullovers-your vids are great sethi love your form i have same form and i work my muscle as much as possible as i learn from you as wellthank youThank you for this video. You have such a well balanced and proportioned physique. Great channel.:)
Can someone please speed this up and replace the dumbbell w a margarita shaker
Did you have Osgood slaughters as a youth?.. Thanks for the great demonstration!
Jesse looking pretty ripped in the background. Way to go Jesse!
One of my favorite exercises for chest. There’s a reason Arnold used it to expand his rib cage.
Been looking at different videos for how to do this exercise, and this is the best one I have come across with the least amount of BS. Adding to my Chest workout from tomorrow.
You are the man since iv been watching you my strength my gains every thing as gon through the roof so thank you man keep them you tube video coming
are you keeping your scapula protracted or retracted throughout whole ROM?
Glad I saw
This I stopped doing this for a while, I was doing them for back workout nice i train back after chest day-
I didn’t do them on chest day as it would hit my lats
But maybe just doing them on back day is fine even is it’s a day after chest
Good vid. If I do these on back day it’s either straight armed on a cable or a machine…………
I’ve been doing them on a decline for a while, does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I can feel my chest but not my serratus/lats
Thank you for this video Wesley. I have returned to the pullover and after only two workouts am loving the results. My pec minor, lats, anterior serratus all feel awesome and I can already see/feel changes to the origin of the serratus. Yours are absolutely to be saluted! Totally underrated exercise. I can already feel more shoulder stability as well. The serratus really helps my scapula stay firmly pressed to my thorax and prevents ‘winging’ and shoulder strain. Thank you thank you thank you!
This dude knows his shit….his workouts are old school and old school techniques are always the best….this dude is shaping every single muscle….shoulders are perfect….I don’t like many people but I like this dude and what he brings….I follow all his workouts
Thanks Seth for a great vlog. I’m over 50 and a workout enthusiast and I love dumbbell pullovers. I think it gives me a great pump in my chest and a great stretch.
If I do the pullover on incline bench, will it target more of the upper chest than flat bench?
When I do pullovers on a bench I feel a lot of tension and stress in my neck. it feels like im not even hitting my chest due to the focus on my neck. Any Advice?
can you be on skype for a muscle show. you would be compensated
I swear I got a boner after seeing you grunt and thrusting with your hips, this was light porn for me. Yes 1000% homo
thank you Seth. I have lots of questions I would like to ask you.
I can feel how,m gonna look infront of them because,m 5’11 as well
“Big, thick, full. Like Arnold n shit. Hell yeah”
hahahaha greatest send off I’ve ever heard on Youtube, subscribed
Great, an excellent tool to improve the understanding of body movements. very descriptive and understandable.
Thanks!!
I didn’t think anyone still did this exercise. Saw in the Arnie Encyclopedia that this exercise opens up your rib cage to really bring out your chest. And Merry Xmas to all.
I had been doing it a while on chest days. I kind of superset it with pec deck flyes. But your good advice about how to make it work better for your chest as you come across the top and squeeze is instructive. Thank you MD.
Where are the cable variations of these? Which video? I checked your back video and it didn’t have them in there.
2:14 “Do not drop this on your forehead ladies and gentleman, that would be a bad thing” dead
Exactly how the’re done Brother! I just love these for finishing off my chest. I still get people asking me “watcha’ doin’ there?” when I hit these.
Thanks for the tips really look forward watching ur video its really good
Looking full and built, good work. Definition without looking like muscles filled with “bags of milk”.
Im recovering from injuri from over training. Learned my lesson the hard way. Im our from gym 3 months. Train smart!
if i do this on a cable pulldown with a rope attachment will it give me the same workout or close? i just dont have the shoulder flexibility to do these lying down with dumbbells
elbows locked!!! how many times you see people do this incorrectly, use to much weight, then work tries because they bend the elbows and streighten as they pull the weight over.
Your shoulders are so fucking big its hard to tell if your scapulae are retracted the whole time or if they’re moving. What do you think about protracting your scapulae on the way up with this exercise to hit the serratus anterior?
i feel its always good to end a chest workout wit and start a back workout with as it also warms up and hits that area and the serratus and so on, so your kinda hitting two birds wit hone stone there. i remember in the 80’s Roy Callender would be starting his back workouts with 10-15 sets of barbell pullovers and then just do 8-10 sets of wide grip pullups with two 150 lb dumbbells attatched to him. if you want width, haha that ought to do it!
i’ve never been so amazed by someody’s calf development before, i mean they really fuckin jump right out. we got another fankhouser in the making over here!
Hello everyone. Fabulous vid.
My good friend was once an overweight boy. He converted himself from 279 lbs of fat to 209 lbs of absolute lean muscle mass. We thought it was unbelievable! I just signed up myself coz I wanna strengthen. He used the Muscle Building Bible (Google it)…
About to do this everyday as a nuclei overload training regiment. Did N.O.T. for the outside curve of my pecs 2 years ago and had insane results. I have a feeling this will blow my upper chest up. Cant wait to see the results!
Great video! You definitely know what you’re talking about.
I come from 2019. Man you developed a big amount of quality muscle in 4 years, even though you looked great in this video.
If only Heath Slater went to the gym then we probably get a jacked up 3MB reunion lol
I was doing this exercise, with a barbell, 40 years ago.
I started the exercise pulling the bar from the floor. You would definitely feel the pull in your ribcage.
I also had my head hang off the end of the bench.
Yeah I used to love these when I was younger & had a huge rib cage also loved incline dumbbell presses but preferred to end it like a fly.
I need to start doing them again & add the vacuum exercise’s
Hmm…only here to watch McIntyre…but whoa..what a workout! One problem though…is it okay for a woman like me to watch a man’s gym exercise…although I am pretty much kinda confused with all of the…well gym terms or mentions of sort!My..do I have to feel terrible..because of my own curiousity?
I love your simplicity man..not to over complicate everything good stuff keep up the good job
Pullovers are a great exercise, but it works the lats.I dont understand why so many think you can target 2 antagonistic muscles with the same, one joint exercise, only because Arnold said so.
The barbell pullover is more useful if you want to literally expand your ribcage but the dumbell variation is more commen, more safe, and better for muscular development.
The narration for this video was creepy. The dude doing the pull over was good, but the narration…CREEPY!!!!
What is a alternative to the Zeus pulldown if you don’t have cable machine?
how about the shoulder blades wes? do we keep them drawn back like we would while doing a bench press?
Yoow damien bruh lemme ask u something, why do u shave your hair and if it’s personal u don’t have to reply but if its concerning bodybuilding I would like to know the recipe thanks fam and plz reply
he sounds like discovery chanel discusing the blackholes in the univers
You’re the best…that’s why I only go to you for new routines and helpful knowledge!
Ooh fuuuck!!! Your serratus are bigger than my lats, hahaha! Congratulations, dude!
Great advices! btw you literally sounds like David Bateson, the actor who voices the character Agent 47 in the “Hitman” game series:D
stay golden….
can’t get enough from Wesley and this great chanel,
thanks for sharing
Learning so many new training techniques from you, thanks John. Merry
yo I swear you got a national geographic narrator to narrarate your videos!
We’ve had these for several months and still LOVE them.>>> ur2.pl/1190 So convenient to have so many options in just one set. We also bought the stand and find it to be great quality and super easy to assemble (all the parts are labeled and come on a piece of cardboard best self-assembly directions I’ve ever seen). Weights feel well balanced and sturdy no matter what weight you select. Very happy with this purchase.
the only channel that dont bullshit me
straight to the point
short and informative
keep doing it seth..
@imgqgit I already told you. you can make your workout sessions much more productive if your eating the right foods to avoid fat and belly. Listen The surprising part is my friend who is not doing much excercises, maintaining his six pack with this secret food items. you can see it here: bit.ly/VttbbY?=bqirlw
Definitely going to start incorporating this in to my upper/lower routine. Great physique!
Bro please upload a new video on chest workout and you doing a great job
I started training like the golden era keep up the good work iron brother..
damn Wes those rib cage muscles along with your lats have you SUPER WIDE!!!!

Please, please keep the videos coming. I used to watch the so called “motivational” videos but get so much more from your channel.
If you change the angle even during a drop set your working the lats in different places.
Imagine Kane or big show here Jeff would look like a complete midget
The bench pullovers….
Just kills my neck…cant get my lats activated at all. Horrible position to be in
I could see the veins popping after a sesh with Jeff..AthleanX rules
Being a healthy muscular, vascular, man small or big is fucking awesome
Jeff looks tiny beside them but can still lift what theyre lifting…
I blew my intestines out like a scene from Aliens squatting too low on a guided squat rack. I never squatted so naturally I f’ed it up my first real time doing them. Coming back up from too low was all my innards could take. I can’t do deadlifts for the time being, but I respect their place in a regiment.
I use the DB Pullovers to work and stretch my lower abs. If you pay attention to the stress it puts on your abs it will be your benchmark for how high you should be pulling up. Keep the stress constant on the abs. You really feel it on an inversion bench with some medicine balls.
Good tips
Gotta tell u tho, hearin’ those sirens made me paranoid
Barbell row
DB pullover
V grip pulldowns
Zeus row
1 arm high pull
Deadlift
barbel rows: 1:31
DB Pullover 3:23
V-Grip pulldowns 5:34
Zeus Rows 6:33
1:Arm Hi-pull 7:51
Deadlift: 9:20
deadlifting and hip hinge movements are so much more difficult for tall guys…..
Oh, I like that “Zeus row” exercise! That could be a great pullup alternative for me because I can’t really hang by a bar due to my bad shoulders.
great info. I will now change my pullover position to the way you do yours! Thank you sir!
Drew macintyre never said a word. No yes no not no hi no bye
Just dropping by to say Merry Christmas John! All the best for you and your family!
Love the tweak for chest. MO baby MO baby MO baby! #CALIGAINZ
I’m all about old school moves. The physiques looked so much better back then.
I been doing this for awhile my coach came to me today told me I’m doing it wrong this is for chest he says also says I should bring it to my legs wtf and told me if I wanted it for my back I should hop on the pullover machine?????
I just did this today for the first time and I was amazed I could do around 80lbs. Felt it on my chest so
Drew is so fuckin huge. I cant believe Brock Lesnar tossed him around like a doll back when he was in 3MB
Back in the days they used barbells to perform chest pull overs
If you all think McIntyre and Jinder look huge, you haven’t seen Kane in the 90s.
I like the way they pretend as if they don’t know all this shit already.
I also do this in my chest day, but on flat bench I’ll try as you said.
Actual question here:
Why are u having them do so much LAT work? Shouldn’t some of that lat work be focused on the other parts of the back? Things like back raises or shrugs?
Jinder is 6’4 like 240-250 drew is 6’5 260ish, they’re big huge dudes but they’re not giants. A true giant walking this earth is someone like khali who’s 7’1 in bare feet and 370+ pounds. This Jeff guy is 5’8 whatever he weighs, doesn’t look over 175. He’s tiny compared to them…but they are tiny compared to khal i and shaq.
Any way to adjust so my shoulder doesn’t feel tweaked when doing these? My coach has me doing 4 DB press plus 4 flyes in each position.
Hey Jeff!! Love you videos. What is the most effective exercises for glute hamstring tie for the under paper of the butt? I seem to experience a lot of back pain with most of the exercises pertaining to them. Thanks
has anybody noticed how thin jinder’s legs are as compared to his huge upper body???
many times i open videos to learn but first i get stuck in reading the comments for minutes. lol……. anyone else???
Thank you I just getting back to the weights after having heart valve replaced on may 29 very true Every day we learn something new god bless have a great day
threw this into my chest routine yesterday, chest has been sore and pumped like ive never felt it for a long time. Love it
I love when you have the WWE guys in the gym. Especially Jinder! you can tell he really pays attention when you’re helping him! Great video!
Did he delete the at home back workout??? It was like 5 exercises and I can’t find it anywhere:/
Love doing barbell version of these where weight goes all the way to floor. Just smashes everything.
I thought Jeff didn’t like the Barbell Rows much
They didn’t do Facepulls
tyu seth, that how i do the pullovers, but i have a problem I cannot grow as big as you.!:)
I really just learned a few things from this video. Thanks for sharing.
this might be a great warm up for stomach workout.
just did this work out after multiple lats lower back and chest work outs
10 reps of 12 kilos
12 reps of 10
till failure with 8 kilos
after that my stomach muscles are triggered.
i want to try this before my stomach and side stomach workouts.
what do you guys think?
Added this to one of my upper body days after barbell ohp and dips, and my chest was trembling felt pretty great. Will see how it affects growth in the coming weeks/months.
A lot of chest isolation movements annoy my right shoulder, but this one did not. And since it combines both lats and chest into one movement its pretty efficient as well. Thanks John!
I remember the first time I did this exercise. I didn’t see anyone else do it, I just thought it up. I love the stretch as a finisher.
This is always a weird excercise. I know it can be done for chest but I personally love pull overs for back.
Happened upon your channel recently and I love it! Feels like one of those caring coaches in high school or your Dad is giving you advice on how to thrive at something. Thanks for the work you put in!
Like someone said already…keep these videos coming…real good stuff…
Never done these but will give it a try.. thanks for the extra chest exercise to add to chest day.
Look after yourself John, watch that stomach mate
Merry Christmas to you & your wife Sir. Hope you had fun.
What’s the max decline angle you recommend for this?
There’s an old school similar version to this I have seen with dumbbells which at the top you do a decline flye what’s your opinion on this one?
Many thanks
John has the best and most helpful videos on YouTube. Thank you for all your help.
Glad he got winded and talked to us. It was the second best thing that happened this week besides Christmas.
ive been searching tutorial of this movement for a while and this is porbably the best Christmas gift this year.
Same weight how heavy or start off light then go up in weight.thanks
Both Drew and Jinder could try persuading Heath to workout with them as well!
Thanks for the post big dog. I used this today and started using it last week after watching your chest video and I LOVE it. I get this crazy soreness likenon the bottom of pec and up under the pec. Like the whole pec muscle is wrecked. I use it at the end of my 2nd chest session of the week.
John anything out there for old old men who used to lift and compete, but turned to farming and lost their way? Maybe pushups, pullups, and situps.
Tried this just this morning at the gym, absolutely love it! Thank you!!!
These are basically dead lifts for your upper body NICE vid John! BIG FAN ++++ Great Job!
Thanks mountain dog I needed a better explanation for this. Thanks man
I truly Love this exercise. Is funny because I see no one doing it at the gym. And separate me from the normal gym rats.
Hello John, Dorian Yates says in blood n guts that this exercise is primarily for lats and has very little chest activation if any at all to contribute to serious chest growth.
Thoughts?
How are you doing these without crazy pain.?I have problems still doing abs with that hernia repaired. Any ideas. I still watch on how I train and how heavy I do triceps pull down. If I go over 80lbs or do too many pullups I feel it burn and pull.Still then I have to stop.Sometimes it might take a good week for that pain to go away. Even preacher curls are difficult.Trying more cardio and swimming. Training with injuries sucks.
Best wishes, Hope you keep doing this channel. Have a Great New Year.
Always make sure the barbell touches the floor. I like to keep as subtle as poss.
Perfect! Thank you for this as I always wondered if it was indeed a chest exercise rather than lats. I’ll give it a go now. Appreciated
thanks for the detailed explanations…
merry christmas
He is hitting the pec minor is what you feel it’s under but good to get big and his is very strong
Thank you so much for posting these videos John! Most youtubers focus only on the big 4 rather than accessories. Thank you so very much
Any more decline and he will turn purple enough to be thanos brother.
In my opinion this is the #1 most underrated chest exercise. I’ve had so much trouble growing and developing a chest, until I started consistently doing these, and going HEAVY. I always do 40-60 reps at whatever weight I did my heaviest set of dumbbell presses.
Are these effective without the decline for a woman, these are in many of the programs I’ve done and I know you always have said not to use decline for a woman so I normally do flat or slight incline? Will I still target the chest muscle this way? Thanks!
I only feel it in my triceps this way. Prefer standing cable.
Jeff I have a problem. I am a very skinny boy and want My body to look like an athlete. I currently play the game of cricket in Jamaica. My role is a fast bowler. Now fast bowlers are people who bowl very quick releasing deliveries at speeds of 150-161kmh That’s nearly the speed of light ⚡⚡. I need strong lower core workouts for me to bowl longer and faster and of course upper body workout as well to help me pursue my dream of being the fastest bowler in cricket. If u receive this please respond to me
I use this form with a cable. I’ll even feel the abs stabilizing when heavy enough. Tension throughout the motion.
To me this doesn’t seem to hit the chest very much? I’m thinking the chest is mainly stabilising the movement with the Lats doing the majority of the work? At the point we think the chest is working the weight is right overhead almost like at the end of a fly movement? Is it really worth doing these for chest over say a dedicated push or fly movement? I’m sure it hits muscles in a unique way which is good but is it worth the time for pecs?
Dudes wearing Wolly hat’s inside, someone tell him, he looks ridiculous
I think I’m doing it wrong. Don’t feel chest contraction only feel it in abs. Should I go steeper decline?
I’ve been instructed to try and keep my lower back stuck to the bench for these. You can do that by bracing your torso like you do in a squat…. It certainly feels like my lats get a much bigger stretch when I do that. Any comments?
JOhn, Ive done these a few times, love em. I always question if this should be done on pull/back or push/chest day. Because even though I feel my chest I still always feel the lats working. Any suggestion? Thank you
I see the value of doing this over the head dumbbell excercise. But I find it kinda scary. What other way can I do this excercise? Thanks in advance
fake.
nobody can do this exercise without moving muscles of the face
I’m not sure what you are training for. Ryan Orris is the next Mr. O
Really well explained. That’s how it works. I hit subscribe.
Many times while I’m doing training, I think Jeff coming out of nowhere and tells me ” Hey that’s not how it’s done”.
I need to try this on decline bench.Great finisher exercise.
Do you skype consultaton on dieting and nutrition. You would be compensated
I already have been doing these on a decline bench consistently for 3 years, very underrated movement
i used to do these a lot but i found them hard on my shoulder. same with regular bench press i can’t go heavy on them anymore. but i can go heavy on close grip bench… it’s just the way my shoulder works i guess everyone is built differently… if u feel discomfort in the joints. i probly shouldn’t be doing it right?
We’ve had these for several months and still LOVE them.>>> ur2.pl/1190 So convenient to have so many options in just one set. We also bought the stand and find it to be great quality and super easy to assemble (all the parts are labeled and come on a piece of cardboard best self-assembly directions I’ve ever seen). Weights feel well balanced and sturdy no matter what weight you select. Very happy with this purchase.
Merry Christmas John and Your family and happy new year best of wishes

Very good movie. Fall in love with You tube for this sort of info.
My step brother was previously bullied. He explained he was planning to get bigger. I chuckled at him. I didn’t think he would…. Until out of nowhere he gained 40lbs of genuine muscle. He tried the Muscle Building Bible look in Google. No-one dares to intimidate the man anymore.:)
I signed up a few days ago. Plus this guys emails are interesting…

If you have been trying to build muscle, you should do a Google search “MAD Ripped Muscle”. You are bound to get the body you deserve.
Love drew McIntyre. Favorite current wrestler. Gonna beat Brock’s ass soon
what i heard was if its no pain then no gain so i sometimes drop the dumbell on my four head to cover the pain part
Very useful to see the video demonstration. I thought i was mainly a chest exercise but I see that it works the back as well.
