So well explained with all the necessary point. Plus you gave variety.
I improved my vertical jump and come closer to dunking with this guidebook. Being a basketball junkie, I am always looking for a way to improve. In case you read this vertical jump plan “Jumοnοz Azb” (G0OGLE it), you`ll be able to know an outstanding workout plan to achieve a higher jump and also detailed explanations on the biomechanics behind a vertical jump..
@23RAIDa
A. I somehow surmise that you have had zero to minimal experience doing any actual academic research on anything.
B. Your reasoning IS fallacious; to suggest that because they other people have a low body fat means that SH does not is not true. Especially since thinking somebody is ripped can actually be a subjective statement.
C. Maintaining that low of a body fat is not only difficult, it’s not natural, especially long term.
D. I used simple letters to separate the thoughts for ya.
I like this trainer. Very clear and easy to understand instructions.
that looks like its gonna mess my knees up more than they already are…:-/ i’ll have to pass on this one
@ScottHermanFitness no offense scott or anything..but is that even possible? 7 pounds of lean muscle and no glycogen….? really?
Good stuff, full range of motion and proper triple extension is very important. Nice overview.
I’m no expert but I believe an explosive jump like this can really tax the glutes well, better than other exercises. This will be the core of my glute workout.
She is awesome! I watched another tutorial she filmed. She is clear, thorough and gets right to the point. Awesome videos!
@23RAIDa Does it matter to you? Who are you to judge? Are you more fit than him? The point is to keep yourself as fit as possible; not trying to please others.
Nice. How about the barbell squat jump? Adding resistance must be good?
@lhagz101 people can get really strong just using their own weight in exercises
Thats not how you jump..You are suppose to explode with your arms and shoulders up not going down.
Lovely explanation. You didn’t mention anything about the knees not going over the toes, though.
I can’t believe you have a YouTube channel teaching us how to properly do it I loved you since insanity you were my favorite ❤️❤️
These are great, complete instructions with different types of squat jumps
Your videos have helped me before but man, do you hate shirts or what? lol
I’m a basketball player looking to jump higher. Will these do the job?

Go to Unflexal webpage if you’d like to learn about workouts.
@VelSnyX I gained a solid 7lbs of muscle over the last couple months, thanks for noticing:)
Don’t you damage your knees if you don’t get down very low? I mean when your thighs are not parallel to the floor.
Well that’s the worst squat jump I’ve ever seen, talk about i like the sound of my own voice what a twat
1:23, hip extension, knee extension and plantar flexion joint movements I’m assuming, but which muscles correspond to each respective joint? For example, I think the gastrocnemius might correspond with the plantar flexion movement. I’m not 100% sure, so clarity would be appreciated by anybody who knows. Thank you in advance.
Great video. What I would add is that “jumping without the arms swinging forward and up” is NOT a functional movement. All movement should be about functional movement. The worst is when I see people doing squat jumps and they actually throw their arms backward as they come off the ground. I cringe every time.
Too much talk and little demonstrations. Cut the talk and demonstrate
Really like the series of videos. Came across them recently while looking for proper techniques to show my wife. She recently started exercising, and we both learn a lot from these. I have learned to improve my techniques, and she has learned to move properly from the start.
Awesome video & info After the explanation, I wish you got her to do a few in a row so we could see the exercise done repeatedly!
do the fucking squat and shut the fuck up. omg this people doesnt know how to make a fucking video.
I use a wheelchair, what else can I do to get the same activation?
CONNOR MURPHY: NARCISSIST
SCOTT HERMAN: MOTIVATIONAL GYM COACH
I legitimately just watched 25 of these in a row. No BS, good information, great visuals. Thanks for these!
This is the incorrect way to do a jump squat.
Throwing the arms back as you jump into the air is not a proper functional movement. All movement is about functional movement.
The proper way to do a jump squat is to squat down, arms back (or to your side), then swing the arms forward and up as you jump up. The type of squat depicted in this instructional video will teach people the incorrect movement pattern, which could potentially lead to an injury, as balance and momentum are compromised.
As an example, you would not throw your arms back doing a box jump, because the momentum in your arms is used to lift your upward, and as your arms are now up and forward, they help you balance your body on the box.
I’ve noticed that this incorrect method of jumping has come about since the group fitness and boot camp movement started. This incorrect way of jumping is not helpful from an athletic performance standpoint. No performance athlete would throw their arms back while jumping upward.
@TheRhythmFreak i think its the new hair cut, or maybe the incredible dedication he puts into his training…….nah deffs the hair cut
YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG IS BACK!! amazing tutorials Coach PJ, please don’t stop posting these or any tutorials! thank you so much!
@WonderfulJJJJ hey, personally i find the squat to be alittle easier on the knees compared to other exercises like Lunges, but thats me, give it a try:)
I’m here because the Google suggest me in how I am getting to be 6 foot or more
Very unprofessional video. There’s no reason to be shirtless only prisoners or shortness not professionals. He has a serious case of dysphoria. Instead of getting out there going to delete this comment
It would be great and so helpful if you could do a video on different exercises to train your glutes, back, legs etc. (different parts of the body). That would make it possible for your viewers to do those at home. Or do you have something like that on your channel already? Thanks for all the tips!
I attempted numerous plans in the past however to no avail, but this vertical jump training “Jumοnοz Azb” (G0OGLE it) was different. 2 weeks ago I could just touch the rim and it was embarrassing. Now I could dunk and all my friends are shocked at the swift transformation!
That’s how you do a squat jump if your freaking 20 years old! Can you please demonstrate one for those of us over 50!
KK, not trying to tell you how to do your jobbut I would LOVE if you published a whole video on a CORRECT and EFFECTIVE glute workout that satisfies booty shaping needs but debunks fad videos.
@lhagz101 dude I know guys that only do this type of workout, with no weights and NO steroids nor supplements that can beat the shit out of any weight lifter I know
You actually only wanna do a quarter squat for this exercise
@doggyhgy He probably got a girlfriend…or boyfriend I guess…
am i the only one who think she looks and sounds alot like scarlett johanssons?
You havent idea for do a squat jump…. Squat jump doesnt have a countermovement, Squat jump starting from the standing position in 90 semiflexin knees, looking straight ahead and holding hands at the waist.
I have never seen someone do a squat jump the way the girl was first demonstrating. This video fixes a mistake very few people do.
@lhagz101 flying kicks and karate chops? I was thinking more on grapples and stuff, so no matter how big and strong you’re when your articulations are the same as anybody else and got a guy with superior stamina wrestling you on the ground and applying a choke hold or a grapple and leaving you uncouncious or bustin your knee or arm for life.
Hi, there so manny squats exercises out there… I never know when i have to squeeze my glutes? Squats, donky kicks…. Can you help me?
Thanks
Do not attempt jump squats if you’re not 100% confident you’re a total athlete. Im a regular gym rat but had never done jump squats before. Did 2 reps, something popped or got pulled and I was on the floor for 10 minutes, writhing in pain. Took me an additional 5 minutes just to get up.
@heroesytumbas yeyeh…just by reading ur comment i figured u were talking about martial arts practitioners.. soo.. karate people.. never lift weights?? if they don’t.. how can they physically be strong and effective against big guys….anyyway..w.e
Scott!! I wanna know your max bench and max squat!! PLEASE its killing me haha
@Behindspace90 I didn’t say he gained fat… I know he didn’t gain any fat, but he has packed on more muscle, he even said he put on 7 lbs. of muscle rescntly. I did not call him “fat,” I simply said he was looking a little bigger (muscle wise).
@bonk2001 7 pounds? how many months was that? i don’t think thats possible (i may be wrong though)
First viewer and first one to post!!! This is an awesome exercise workout
@ScottHermanFitness the camera ads a good ten pounds i reckon huh? hah forget what people say, scott herman, you sir are a stud!
he does have huge legs…lets see you get legs like that…takes a lot of hard work:O
beware.. this work out is only for pussies.. or it can be an addition to your workout after u lift real weight like a man.. MUHAHUHAHA
You’re so vain, you probably think this song is about you weightlifter guy.
Looking bigger Scott, but please don’t bulk up too much…. keep that lean, ripped, healthy build
Awsome, thank you brother.
Is it better to do short but various series or long but less?
Shony, Paris.
Scott is not getting fat..don’t get offended scott..probably he has seen your videos where you used to be more lean…rather than bulky and muscular….now 7 pounds in couple of months meaning two…wooow you have got to have good genetics and a hell of a good training to be able to obtain 7 pounds…if im mistaken of the months thing sorry lol:P
Why don’t you actually do jump squats? Where you are actually squatting with the bar and weight and when you come up you jump? Much more effective.
Can I ask what’s the difference between a squat jump and a countermovement jump
This girl is as flat as an iron board but she’s sweet so nvm
can you make another set of work out routine videos? like brand new chest day etc…. and keep up the good work!!
You looks like Superman jumping to fly to save Luisa Lane.
That looks cool to me, but will it have better effect if i do this exercise at the gym with dumbels and few reps with 4 sets for example?
it’s pretty awesome that you don’t have huge legs, yet you have a really high vertical jump. At 5′ 10″ which I think you said you are you can probably dunk on any regulation basketball hoop with ease, which is no small feat.
i hate scotts physique. its too bloated and fat looking. i would rather look like zyzz or matt ogus, and look aesthetic and shredded.
@doggyhgy How many peoples abs show when they arent even flexing? His definitely do
makes no sense to burn your legs for nothing! thanks Coach!!
Scott im loving all these new lower body videos ur making. Your really placing a positive and subtle emphasis on leg training. ITS FRICKEN AWESOME!!!
Scott has a serious case of dysphoria. He knows only prisoners are shirtless not professionals. Instead of getting help he’s probably going to delete this comment
@heroesytumbas they must be some reall alpha male type dudes yeh? lmao
I cant really do that cuz i have a bad knee I feel sometime when i land on my feet that my right knee my pop out. so dont like to do those much..
Put on a smile, girl! The woman in these videos looks as if she absolutely hates being there. The way she frowns at the camera is really distracting too. Just a bit of constructive criticism. You can do a lot better!
@Punjabi765 Oh fuck forgot that you can only gain muscles with steriods
@Punjabi765 dude if he took steroids he would be A LOT bigger than that, trust me…
@Punjabi765 you can get bigger without taking steroids you know..
Was this taken from another youtuber/site? there’s a weird white blur area in the front that may have been from where a logo was removed.
@iamchaossthought look at zyzz, josef rakich, chestbrah on youtube, facebook and google. moset ripped mofos on earth fool.
Wow! I found thislegs treatment solution “myma shocking plan” (Google it) only 4 months ago and the results have been amazing! Aside from a straighter legs, I was able to attain better posture and enhanced muscle definition. My loved ones have all supported me through the procedure and taken pictures every week, however I honestly never even thought that simple exercises would work like this.
WoW scoot, you are really looking bigger. did you gain a few more pounds?
