Hi Shana, I’m starting to play with Sirsasana II to and from Parsva Bakasana. I’m running into trouble getting my legs back up to Sirsasana. It’s way easier to lift back up to Sirsasana from our plain old Bakasana. Wondering what’s at work when it’s Parsva Bakasana.
Side crow is a favorite. Never has a teacher explained the “cheaty” way vs the full expression of the pose.
I teach this evening I inspired to teach side crow at least prepping to it.
You’re an awesome teacher! I’ve learned Bakasana from your other video, and now I’m learning Parsva Bakasana! Thank you thank you:))
Excellent teaching of Side Crow Pose. Thank You! I had my students practicing the preparations for side crow today:-) They laughed when I said what we are going to do today. But we all need to start somewhere:-)

Thank you so much for this video! Totally helped me get my side crow. I have been so frustrated but not now!:)
When I was doing it one of my wrist started hurt. I don’t have any physical injuries or anything so I feel like I might be doing something wrong but I don’t know what. Do you have any tips/techniques on avoiding pressure on the wrist?
I got it thanks to your instructions. Before listening to this, my leg would slip off my elbow because I was not pushing my leg into the back of my arm. Preparing my body with a twisted side angle pose also helped me in entering the side crow pose.

Can I begin this pose by resting my elbow on my hip as well (for more stability)?
Nailed it for the first time with your tutorial. Simplified! Thank you.
