I can’t do Bakasana, but I can get into a Parsva Bakasana pose
Some teachers teach this pose with the thigh resting across both elbows as a balance point, while some only have the thigh in contact with one elbow (i.e. there is a free elbow and the weight is all balanced on one). Which is the right way to side crow??

I feel really awkward once I try to extend one of my legs back: trying to figure out how to maintain / distribute the core strength and balance whilst having the one leg tucked for Bakasana, and the other extended for flight. I’m sure there’s a simple trick to it, just unsure as to what!

Hey Kino! I had a question, is it okay, if we’re just learning to do side crow to support our hip by putting it into our other elbow? I’m not good with my core just yet (I haven’t really practiced any core strengthening moves which I know is bad) and it makes it easier for me to hold it when both my hip and knees are supported by my elbows.
