I really hate shopping for food lol. I think I’m definitely going to try this service.
I can certainly see why someone that has health issues could use it and it would be a great help. The prices, however are higher than ours and our col is 121 vs co 98.
I guess home delivery differs from state to state In Tucson, I can only order nonperishable grocery items from Walmart but can from any of the stores offering Instacart.
No delivery slots unless you wait a week, that’s in the UK
crap experience on Shipt as a buyer over 30 bucks worth of groceries missing and they don’t answer emails or phone
This is Wal-Mart gold mind app! Cuz people not only like to click on the stuff they need. but also unnecessary stuff as well! with this, Wal-Mart for sure will make 2-3x’s the revenue! Cuz no-one likes to walk around Wal-Mart, and half of the time, they’ll forget some of the stuff they need! So, with this app they’ll can scroll and get more than what they needed!
I have not been able to check out my Amazon fresh cart for a month now apparently no check out windows I cant even set something up for three weeks from now
This is good to know, that you have to sign for it. I thought they leave it on the doorstep.
Can’t be too careful, this corona situation is looking bad, I read book on Amazon title: ‘Lockdown Prepping for 2020/1 Corona Virus Covid-19 Complete Guide Act Now!’ it has over 80+ things you really need to get, not just food and water for home etc…it lists things for backpack
GIVING AN ELDERLY SHOPPER NO CHANCE WHAT SEVER TO GET THE INFO
I wish they did online shopping here, for a full-time wheely, it would be soooo much easier! I do all my other shopping online, but groceries, I have to go in for and it’s not always the best time for me, tfs
Is it only for groceries or anything that you buy? I purchase some shavers is telling me to pick them up on Thursday so do I park at the same place or where do I go
I’m slightly agoraphobic and have some social anxiety so sometimes things like shopping for groceries can be overwhelming. Thankfully there are programs like this that I plan to start using.
I prefer online shopping because it keeps me from buying extra stuff I don’t need. We pick up our groceries.
Wow, very interesting. You had a driver wearing a Walmart shirt delivering your groceries in a Walmart truck. Plus he had a hand truck and all of your groceries were in big blue bins. My driver was in his own personal car wearing sweats and had to make several trips carrying my bags. They are not Walmart employees but hired by a third party service here where I live.
Anyway, I’ve been doing the Walmart pickup every two weeks for quite some time. Usually do it on a Friday after work. It’s been simple and painless. This past Friday I was offered 15 days of free delivery when I was doing my order and took them up on that since I was off that day. My driver arrived and he proceeded to bring my groceries to my door making several trips. One of the first things he brought to my door was a 13-gallon Rubbermaid trash bin that I ordered. I was at the door and took the lid that was at the bottom of the bin and tried to place it on top, but it was the wrong lid and way too small. My only option was to call the 1-800 and Walmart refunded my money. But now I’m stuck with a bin with no lid.
Shortly after that driver left, I placed another order for the next (Saturday) morning. I had found a recipe for Chicken and Noodles online for Sunday dinner plus reordered the same trash bin. This time the bin came with the right lid, but after putting away my groceries along with my wife, I noticed I was missing three items all from the frozen food section (Reames frozen egg noodles, frozen peas, frozen carrots). And the driver was long gone. All day Saturday I tried calling the 1-800 number but the system was down. Finally on Sunday morning was was able to speak to someone, but the only option was to have my money refunded. The woman I talked to did call my local store to see if those items could be re-delivered, but that’s not possible. Now I’ll have to get to Kroger today for the missing stuff.
In theory, it’s a great idea. But after two unsuccessful attempts, I doubt I’ll try No. 3 and stick with grocery pickup. This way if there’s ever an issue, I’m already at the store.
I use the pickup service and it’s great. What I can’t figure out is how Walmart figures this into their bottom line which has to cost them a good chunk, and as it snowballs how many more customers will be using it and never stepping in the store. Is it a good business model? ( not that I’m worried about Walmart’s profit margins… lol )
Thanks only video/article I found that mentions that Walmart won’t tell you that they didn’t get an item even they didn’t charge it. I mean you’re expecting the item I kinda know what happened
now you keep your windows up, stay in car and wear your mask.
Things must have changed……..we don’t get the fancy truck. We get the homeless looking guy with a broke down Buick
He just threw the groceries on the porch and left
I use Instacart every week.
Tried Amazon Fresh for about 6mos but the overall experience was way worse, so went back to Instacart.
Thank you!! Just getting started with pick up and delivery choices and I’m excited
Grocery delivery should replace stores
so we want be cluttered up in stores.
Thank you so much for doing this video! Doing this app for the first time since I’m recovering from ankle surgery and can’t walk
Making Americans fatter and lazier. Fuck abc Make America Great Again
Walmart Canada damaged my credit because of their mistake.
Their employee filled out my application for a credit card and used the wrong address and probably the wrong phone.
First purchase almost 15 was charged on the card. I never received a card from them or any communication. Later they reported to credit bureaus. I found out after 8 months. I paid off the balance. They promised to fix my credit, but that was a lie.
Stay away from Walmart Credit Card.
Going to small claims court for that.
Free delivery on orders of $35 or more and excellent prices. $2 for giant bags of chips or a huge container of oatmeal. I just bought, along with my groceries, those ziploc tupperware containers for a third of what I would have had to pay on ebay or amazon.com.
Ah our area Walmarts do not have delivery. Only shop online then go pick it up. I think there is a local grocery store that does do delivery however.
I just did my first kroger click list. I don’t shop at Walmart. they are more expensive than kroger. I just ordered 50 for 40 minus 8 free items
Great Thanks People helping people I love it you and your family have a prosperous new year in spite of all that is happening
I am getting an interview tomorrow at this position. I really appreciate you doing this as an example.
I ordered my groceries online when I had a broken leg. I had home delivery for 4 months. It was definitely a life saver.
Informative video. Good points. I would recommend to make your own apple sauce from apples; very simple. Another point I think for online shopping is that if you are buying a lot of heavy stuff (drinks for example) you don’t have to carry all those heavy items to car & then into the house. It’s all done for you!
Omg I like go shopping to store sorry! I try everything to taste!
Your app is great thank you so much perfect pace perfect tonality in your voice, perfect pronunciation and enunciation words so there’s no confusion! Thank you! You also have beautiful teeth beautiful lips beautiful skin and beautiful eyes have a beautiful day and thank you
Hey Tawra. I’m just watching this video today and I’m curious what you do with the bacon ends that you buy. I’m a new fan of yours and I’m trying to get as much information from you as possible.
I leave in Wellington in a slopping section (with lot of steps to access the house). I shop online from my phone with my local New World. Now, finish to carry down the steps all the heavy groceries. Also very handy when you are in holiday to order remotely and schedule the delivery close to the time you are back home. I recently did that after a long holiday out of the country. From overseas, on my phone, I ordered my groceries at New World to replenish my fridge and pantry. So convenient to don’t have to go to the supermarket after a long flight.
I would love to do my shopping on line but I do my shopping in Lidl and they don’t have an on line option. I could go to Tesco’s but it’s lot more expensive and I don’t like Tesco’s. I dislike grocery shopping a lot, especially getting it all out of the car and putting it away.
I just found out about this from a commercial on the radio OMG!!!!!!!!! Gonna be using this on the weekend see how it goes I didn’t know its been a thing the last few years. This would probably create more jobs at wallmart as more people start to use the App because why not it is free and you save the hassle of actually grocery shopping.
I never knew they did delivery. I ordered last night and saw the option but haven’t tried it. Maybe I will for my next big order.
This video is over 2 years old and i just did this last week. How could I miss something so amazing and for only $6.95 they deliver then carry all the grocery to your door it is their policy from what I read on their site. My eggs were not smashed but I didn’t get a Wallmart delivery person but got a Door Dash guy deliver it. I guess they changed it now and partnered with Door Dash (I use them since forever for food delivery in the past). Door Dash delivery drivers I think are more careful because they NEED to get positive review on each delivery otherwise I assume the App cancels/fires the person from getting too many negative reviews? Not sure how that works but a lot better than a Wallmart worker delivering it. You can also just go to the store and they have special parking spots for pickup you pull into one and get on the App on your phone and it alerts the picker that you arrived and they load it in your car…FREE! No $6.95 delivery charge and no price mark-ups it cost the exact same as if you went into the store for an hour shopping with all the crazies in there. You can also check for things like broken eggs and the picker will go back into the store get a new one if eggs are broke.
I live in a small town in the USA. I have physical challenges and use a walker. Grocery shopping is very difficult for me. I do online shopping with Kroger. I still work, so I place my order the evening before and request a pick-up time on my way home the next afternoon. When I get to the store, I park in a designated area and dial a line into the store to let them know I have arrived. Within minutes, store employee(s) bring my groceries and load them into the car for me. They do this in all kinds of weather without complaint (at least not to me). I tip as generously as I can because I truly appreciate this service. Grocery delivery has recently been added to their services. The delivery is done by a third-party, and I haven’t yet worked out the timing on that. Online shopping is great for people like me with physical challenges.
Thank You Cris for some VERY helpful and needed information. Ive been going to Meijer and Walmart in person, but I think from now on I will do pick up since Im only minutes away from them. And My brother has been getting my Moms groceries (she is 82), I will suggest to him all these choices and Im sure he will use them too. God Bless you guys and take care. ❤
Here’s the problem right at current with the third-party apps like shipt and instacart because of the outages in certain stores like with paper products Sanitary products some produce and meats and a lot of dry goods even if the Shopper through those third-party apps where to be able to get those items they’re going to be in such limited quantity that it’s almost not worth it. Take it from me I work for instacart.
i just started using walmarts. i did like it. krogers i am confused with theirs.
Thank you so much, I did pick up ordering for 1st time today. Was a little touchy online for pick up but I did it. Pick up tomorrow at our Kroger.
I love the service but seriously… Allow those that want to tip, tip. I feel bad that they load up the car with the groceries and we can’t give them a little money
I know I should do online shopping, but just haven’t fully got on with it. We often get our meat in the reduced section which isn’t available online and I like to choose my own fruit and veg. Plus I have to at least go pick up nappies and formula (thankfully no longer buying formula ) from Aldi. Maybe a big monthly online shop could work for me, then I only have a few fresh bits to pick up each week.
Thank you for taking the time and describing this so well. Good job chick ✌
I’ve been using C’8 (www.c8coordinate.com) aid coordination platform to purchase $30 USD of groceries for people that posted of their need in C’8 with a list of items desired and a link to their local grocery store with online shopping available for me and/or others to make such donations/purchases not only directly from person to person, but even more purely, directly to the supplier of their needed items, taking nearly all potential for abuses off the table. So far I’ve purchased groceries in Nigeria, USA, Haiti and México and am looking forward to fulfilling a post from S. Africa when she replies with a local vendor link: https://www.c8coordinate.com/post/120 I’m not a wealthy person and cannot personally fund all needs posts in C’8 of course, but I am still working, I earn more than I need and I simply love giving.
C’8 is a purely altruistic, free and available to all aid coordination platform I’ve been developing since volunteering in hurricane Sandy relief in 2012 (with Team Rubicon and other groups) where anyone in the world can create needs posts and anyone in the world can find such posts and coordinate direct, specific, immediate, zero overhead, 100% transparent aid donations. I will continue to try to fund needs posts myself as I’m able as well as to work to attract attention of other potential givers that want a pure way to coordinate aid for those in need.
I get all mine from Amazon I absolutely LOVE Amazon anyways and when I started this I love it even more!! If yall are interested check it out! https://amzn.to/2S0glb9
Savings Catcher will not accept pickup orders. Walmart stopped it.
How convenient. We are not far from Walmart but I don’t like going in to Walmart. I need to check if they have this service here.
If I order online for “pick up” (where they expect me to come in the store) how do I let them know I want the “bring to car” choice? Thanks!
A fantastic video Jen. This came at a perfect time as I’ve been researching into adding online food shopping into my week.
Grocery pickup and delivery service during the Covid19 crisis has been shameful. These businesses have had a great opportunity to serve the public but, have failed. 1. They don’t pay their employees enough 2. They haven’t figured out how to deliver in a timely manner 3. Instacart, Amazon, come on you guys, get it figured out, poor service means customers lost “forever” 4. Think outside the box and see who figures out the best business practice 5. Mission statement: (to be a winner… it should be…. Taking care of people and meeting their needs…with that said..SHAME ON ALL CUSTOMERS WHO DON’T TIP, OR LEAVE A SMALL TIP.
Question I want 1 or 2lbs of lemons how do I put it? It doesn’t show how many ibs only number of lemons
Walmart has ways to make fat, lazy people even grow fatter and lazier
Is this grocery only? Or can I also ask for diapers ECT on my list
person in 100,000 years: ok so i am going to wear my shopping glasses (glasses that have a screen in front of the glass part so you can shop for anything) ok so i will buy a apple
glasses: Teleporting Apple To 1234 Address!
person: ok i will eat it now
Oh my God this is such a life saver!!! I want to try this for the first time… I was so scared I’m so happy u did a video on this… I’m so upset they took the savings catcher away.. having 5 kids I can just pick this up instead of having to wait on the weekends to shop!
Amazon Prime Now is the fastest and most cost effective, since there’s no delivery fee if you order at least $35 and you get free two hour delivery in addition. They are always on time too. However, Prime Now has nowhere NEAR the amount of items Safeway and Walmart has. It’s like Prime Now is your small gas station store and the others actual giant grocery places. The $10 delivery fee of Safeway makes me only choose them when I get free delivery coupons (which is very rare). Walmart grocery delivery isn’t even available right now where I live.
I have always despised grocery shopping so I am over the top that grocery shopping is being eliminated!!!
i have a question is this better than instacart? because iver never used either but thinking of using walmart app I need lower prices i usually shop at publix but im on a budget. A friend used instacart and they charged him an extra 40 dollars that he could never get back… he emailed them back and forth fighting for his 40 dollars and they never gave it back. He still doesnt understand what that charged was about.. they never really explained this hidden fee. So before i use this app this coming weekend lol i need to know if i buy stuff will there be some big hidden fee that wont over draft my bank account lol?
Regardless of who delivers my groceries, please don’t put my bags of groceries on the damm ground. If you don’t have a hand cart with you in your car, please don’t take the call. Those bags that you just put on the ground in the parking lot of my apartment complex end up on my counter. I don’t know who spat on the ground before my groceries were placed there. Please don’t put my groceries on the ground people. Thank you.
-Q-Tesco seriously need to make this easier. I’m on here because I’m trying to do this over a half hour. How is the over 70s ment to be staying in and using online shopping only.when its its ridiculously hard to do.especially when you don’t have a club card.
But thank you for the clip.
Been meaning to try click n collect and online shopping mainly for budgeting purposes and of course, the convenience of it. I can go into the shops and walk out with so much extra simply because it was on a good special or I wasn’t sure if I had the item at home.
Hoping online shopping will alleviate that. Thanks for pointing out the cons as well as the pros.
There’s so many links Below I can’t figure out which one is tne refer friend or start order smh
“This video is not sponsored by Walmart” yea obviously not.
Grocery shopping is one of my favorite things to do. I go 3x a week sometimes more but I pick up tempting things that derail my diet sometimes so this would be good for me in that regard.
now if they could start delivering wouldn’t it be great for the elderly or people who don’t drive.
my local Walmart does the curbside pickup but I was not aware some locations did home delivery
I love all these stores that they deliver because as a single mother who does not have a carit makes it so much easier to buy for me and my son
Hi I ordered for delivery of groceries 2 days ago my groceries are coming in the next 10 minutes and I had wasn’t to see who had a YouTube video of how the groceries are delivered. And I see yours came in a Walmart truck which mines is coming in a car driven by someone they give her name and the license plate in the name of the car. This is so convenient cuz I’m 51 I’m tired of shopping they’re making things so easier for us who are tired of grocery shopping. It’s a lot pushing that heavy metal cart around the store. Thank you for the video…✌
Do you tip the delivery man? I feel like I should tip if I use this service…
I live out in the sticks, so the closest Walmart/Grocery Store to me is about a 1 1/2 hour drive; my bi-weekly grocery trip usually lasts a whole day with a $200-400 pricetag including gas. With this service, I can do all my grocery shopping in only 3 hours so I don’t have to wait for a day off work. I only hope they offer delivery soon.
Delivery too long the delivery man should be in and out in 3 minutes on a large order like this.:(!
With your eggs being smashed it does happen sometimes and also might’ve happened with your children bringing the groceries in as they might not know that their eggs and might put something heavy on top too I know my children would do if I get them to help bring in groceries sometimes they’re not paying attention. Also same with the bins on the truck something might been put on top of the bins and the delivery guy just move the Ben’s self those things sometimes happen I’m very happy that Walmart will completely give you a refund as that is good customer service.
I wouldn’t allow substitutions as that confuses the process. I have paid for a few things that weren’t in the car when I got home. Of course you can check-off everything but I don’t. Also when I ordered salad mixes the best by date was always really close to the pickup date and recently the pickup date was two days past so I stopped ordering salads for pick-up.
Definitely trying this. Keeping myself away from the deals and impulse buys has GOT to be a better way. Yay! It’s offered in my area. Thanks so much.
Thank you! I will definitely be looking into this feature. I typically do my shopping at Kroger when I need to pick up meds, but with the move we are losing Kroger as well. Will have to see if HEB offers this service.
Sorry I kept reading more comments and found answer. I just received my first order. I had a question if anyone knows some of my items were missing, I don’t believe they charged me cause they weren’t on list but there was no explanation to re order or charged later. I’m not sure about how that works. I didn’t realize it until person left. Also door dash lady v didn’t ask me about accepting substitutions. I kept researching how delivery worked your video helped a lot, but in my area West Texas Door Dash does the delivery. So it all depends where you live. The delivery charge varies from about $5 to 7 I think depending on time you choose. You can also tip through the app…I wish I knew cause i was scrambling for my wallet. Also door dash uses their own vehicles.
I too am home bound so I order from Wal Mart’s. This month they got no order from me to having to many damaged cans. Yes I do call & they replace them, but they came in damaged again. But still love them!!!
Just did an Amazon Fresh delivery two days ago. They use insulated bags to keep your food cold, which I like.
I’ve used this three times already, I just use the pick up. My closest Super Center isn’t offering this yet, but I live 10 minutes away from another town (where I lived as a kid) so I just go to that store and pick up my stuff. I start adding stuff in my cart the week before and just slowly add in stuff as I need it and then on Monday after I drop my son off at school, I go pick it up. I don’t mind going and picking it up since I’m out anyway and then I just pull in my garage and unload my stuff right into my kitchen.
I’ve had two substitutions, one on my last order and then this order. On the second order, I ordered a small box of cosmic brownies and they didn’t have that size so they gave me the family size. On this order, I ordered a large thing of strawberries and they didn’t have that size, so they gave me two boxes.
I’ll still go into Walmart some times to do groceries, like if I’m needing new dinner ideas, or need to buy something I need to see in person first (likemy son needs some socks) but I like having the option of just picking up and not having to get out of the car.
OK, I’m HOOKED: for <$10 delivery fee, I CAN noW cut out my 1/2<=>3/4 day trips to my local W*M [I take public Metro in IAH] and since I attended Temple Services this morning [online] I now only have the dentist, VA Appts, and PTSD Meetings to attend in person! This gives me more time for scripture study, and work on my website and eBooks [in front of my CPU]. As a friend of mine once said: “Ain’t Technology Great?!?!?! btw, I TURNED 76 ON THE 3RD!
I used this app. My bill was $125.00. Some of the items I paid for weren’t available. On the Walmart pick up app said my bill was 103.25. Does it take a few days for them to return your money back?
I like your background studio look. And thanks for your videos.:)
Great Video! Here’s my recent Adventure..check it out if you have a chance
https://youtu.be/6Tc-LQ_kkvI
What if i wanted to order an wireless earbud, it says that it costs $29.99 if i order it, but if i want to buy ut from store, its $49.99
I can’t try because in my country we don’t have the, but I watched the video because of you look you can speak about anything I can listen to you for hours, I love the way you talk..your accent so calm, thank you very much♥plz I have a request…I miss frightful Grant look, he will not be happy, don’t tell him hahahaha
Wow thank you so much for this video. I must find out if our Walmart does delivery.
All good info…I know my daughters use PeaPod…and our local market does curbside pickup. I have not used either but there may be a day I need too! So thanks…stay safe and healthy!
An introvert’s dream! Yep, I think I’d be willing to pay for that!
I live in a small town in Taranaki so only have had the pleasure of online shopping in the last year or so. I use online grocery shopping all the time. It is so convenient since I am a shift working nurse. I can do my shopping and get my husband to pick it up or just pick it up on my way home. I am also not tempted to impulse buy. I am picky with the produce so I do make a point to go and get produce. It is a life changer. I know that sounds silly but for me it works. Also, I dont have to remember my reusable bags if i swapped cars with hubby. Hehe. Love your earrings and thanks for the video
Does your Walmart have the delivery option or pick up option? Visit our site for hundreds of recipes and money saving tips. https://www.livingonadime.com/store/dining-on-a-dime-cookbook/
Lots of good points, I’m one of those freaks though who actually enjoy grocery shopping:-) I used to do online shopping when we lived in Sydney before I got my driving licence but too often I got crappy produce delivered or meat that was one day before its best before date. Now we’re back in Ireland and have Aldi, Lidl and Tesco nearby I prefer to just go and shop myself.
This is so dumb in my opinion. Just another way for people to be lazy & get fatter. I’ll do my own shopping tyvm!
I really want those Walmart bins too bad they can’t charge you for them and then the next time you get an order you can exchange the bins you have for the new ones and only get charged the difference in the bins as those bins are definitely reusable for other things
For the apple sauce you may wanna try the “vegan area” if your supermarket has one. At least in europe the vegan sauces / purées tend to have less “advanced chemistry” in them most of the time…
Thanks for the demo. This is a great way for handicap people to shop.
That sounds like a great deal. Are you feeling Ok? Your face is so red.
Hi, Just an FYI..I just added and checked into the regular Walmart app and it doesn’t have the “Savings Catcher” feature to it any longer. It also now has the grocery shop added
to just this app as well.
LOL i thought this was a how to pick up girls at walmart. not groceries. I am not American but i do know what walmart is and i have watched the walmart freaks videos so i assumed that a pick up video of walmart girls would be entertaining. Being bored during lockdown i thought i gotta see this. but i was mistaken
i liked your video. the walmart i like to go to still does not have where you can order. i am still waiting. my mother has to have round the clock care so i do not go to the store like i use to go
I guess people nowadays are becoming idle when it comes to online services.
Have raised. many online orders with Tesco. Can’t I raise a repeat order by just copying an existing order, say last order without having to go individually through all my favourites. If I want to print out my basket or order, if it has been raised, can I sort the basket or order first by a selection of parameters ie alphabetic, category etc. Thanks!!!
Having read other comments I am obviously not alone in finding the system very user unfriendly. I have used online shopping for over 25 years. Please have a look at amazon and their system you then realise how poor and illogical this Tesco system is!!!!!
LOL…So glad you have plenty of room for the Paper Towels…
As of this moment we’re a half of a roll away from running out but we have plenty of cloth napkins, dish towels, dish cloths…So we can improvise
I liked your video. It would have been nice to see the addition of items after paying for an order.
I use the Max app in the LES NYC. @ work its great and time saved. But people wait for amazon fresh, Fresh direct, instacart etc. These are all ok nice video.:]
That is so awesome! My hubby and I are disabled seniors and this will help us so much.
Thanks Chris!! I just found out my local store uses Instacaet for online shopping and delivery!! I had a stroke 3 weeks ago and my hubby is not the most healthy so I plan on trying it tomorrow. I saw your video tite and knew I had to watch it!!
our Walmart unfortunately doesn’t offer this. hopefully soon! I’d love this. It would save me so much money
Our Walmart here in eastern PA just started this pick-up service at the store. The one closest to us does not have it. If they delivered I would totally order online! Right now I just go to Aldi.
Did you mention you have to use Walmart Pay in order to submit a receipt? Wasn’t sure.
1.How much did you TIP the delivery guy? usually it’s up to 15% of total order. 2.Is the delivery guy okay with being filmed, did you ask?
They don’t have that here but I can order dog food and stuff like that which is ok when I get prago I can lift them up at all
Shared on Facebook:0) Our Walmart tried having delivery online, but they no longer offer it. I guess no one understood how easy it was. After watching this video, I really wish we still had it.

Hi thanks for the informative video. Does Walmart online sell used or only new books? Thanks!
If considering opening one, should i consider the physical shop before the on line option?
Great vid, do you have to have your phone with you? I weant to order for my dad and have him pick it up
We’re converts too, except for fresh bread because for some reason it’s never in Stock in the bakery section online. Other than that we love it though
Someone shipp and Bag for customer huh.. just drive up.. Pop the trunk and Walmart will load it into the car and zzzzz out
I order cereal it was $36.00 I got 8 boxes and it was free shipping no fee last week
I just subscribed for $98/year plan. Comes in at about $2 a week if I order weekly. So far they deliver exactly on time. 10:00am delivery my doorbell rings at 10:00am. Last couple weeks I’ve had some substitutions. Last week I ordered kale and got spinach and ordered sesame oil and got hoisin sauce which is RIGHT NEXT TO the Sesame oil on the shelf. I chatted with Walmart online and the refunded the two items and gave me a $10 credit toward my next order.
I am in the U.K and as a single person with a bad hip about once a month I get a home delivery from my local Supermarket. I order mine far enough ahead of time that I only get charged £1 or £2 for delivery. As long as I am over their £40 Min spend. They will deliver if you are over £25 but charge you £7 delivery. I stock up on all the big bottles of Coke and Lemonade. Anything in Boxes (Dried), Jars or tins. Milk (2 X 2 pints lasts me about 2 weeks so one in the Fridge the other in the Freezer). I have just received a one Kilo block of Full Flavour Cheddar (First time, I have checked with them and they say it is like a normal Mature, £4 a Kg). Must start on slicing and Grating that, Many people do not know how well it freezes and if Grated or Sliced you can just take out what you want then let it defrost. I buy things like 2 or 3 jars of mustards (Normally English and Honey Grainy Mustard). This time I stocked up on Relishes and table sauces. Bread (Enough for 2 weeks), Again it freezes well and Pitta Breads. Salad stuff only last for a few days so no point buying to much of that. They actually use different coloured plastic carrier bags for identifying the food in it like Blue for Frozen, As I also have COPD so limited to putting a couple bags full away it helps me prioritise like Frozen and Chilled first then take a rest for a few minutes then do the next couple of bags
Can you also buy non grocery items as well like if you need paper towels or earbuds??
I would take advantage of this if they did it in my area. Kroger charges $4.99 for an online order and just to bring the stuff out to your car
Are prices are higher if using an iPhone. I have LG and and iPhone walmart prices are higher on my iphone.
This was really helpful to an online teacher during the Corona virus outbreak. I’m a Personal Financial Planning teacher and a monthly budget is our main topic. I’ve directed the students to buy groceries online to fill their budget line item for “Food at Home.” Since I’m not in the classroom to give a lecture on the pros/cons, your video is extremely helpful and now I’ve asked the kids to watch your video, fill out a pro/con list, THEN go grocery shopping online. This is always a fun project because as juniors/seniors in high school, they don’t have a clue what it takes to feed themselves for a month so it gets them talking with parents and each other and have to plan out a week’s worth of groceries (we multiply by 4 weeks to get the monthly line item number). Thanks! again!
Anything you don’t like about the delivery? For promo/discount code, is there a place to get them? It seems like it’s always “1st timer” shopper coupons. Very rarely do they have real discount. Also the item’s delivery price is it the same as in-store price?
For your cleaning go look at these two sites FlyLady.net also https://www.hillbillyhousewife.com
at my local countdown we just have morning slot or afternoon slot but I know the bigger store up here has time slots hourly where as I have 1pm-9pm to collect which is pretty awesome. I love click and collect! but yes agree with you on the cons.
I want to stay at home too and there is nothing else that I hate to go grocery shopping
I am also in Ohio and get free delivery over I think $39. I order my pet food. I love this feature of doorstep delivery. Yesterday before work I did my monthly order at 4am(before work) I accidentally hit the pick up button. Never again, after working a 12 hour shift I didn’t appreciate waiting 20+ minutes to pick up. I will continue to order my pet’s food online as long as delivery is free.
For a few bucks you can have a DoorDash-Dasher come drop your items off to you. Only in metro ATL but it will be coming to other places soon.

I always shop like this, I have a delivery weekly and pay for a years delivery pass £72 for that you can have as many deliveries as you want so long as each order is at least £40.This is from Tescos and they have a reward system for every £1 you spend you get a point which is turned into cash off your shopping, I also sometimes order from a store that is mostly frozen food and orders over £35 are free delivery,
Placed my first pickup order today for pickup tomo. My worry is they will not have half of what I ordered. They never have everything people want stocked in the stores even before this virus mess started.
With this whole Covid-19 issue, this seems like a better alternative to actually going in especially for a high risk person. I’m a Walmart shopper regularly, but I’m in my 40’s and a juvenile diabetic so my Doc’s keep telling me to be safe as regards public places. Walmart tries to keep things up but walking in, I feel like I’m walking into a giant breathing petri fish!
I’m gonna give this a go. I already have the app.
For the time being, this looks much safer!
So how much is the lead time? If I order groceries 7am Monday, when will groceries be ready for pick up?
I absolutely LOATHE going to Wal-Mart and dealing with the crowds and all of the insanity and chaos that is Wal-Mart (it literally gives me a headache), so this is a HUGE game changer and has made our lives a thousand times easier! My husband and I both absolutely love being able to do our grocery shopping from the comfort of our own home and then simply driving 10-15 minutes to Wal-Mart, having our groceries ready and waiting for us, and not even have to go into the store! We also find that when we are able to do our grocery shopping from home, we never forget anything because as soon as we know we need something, one of us will immediately add it to our list (we do one big grocery shopping every 2 weeks and we keep a running list going on the Wal-Mart app) and we also don’t overspend doing it this way. When we have to go to the store to do our grocery shopping the old fashioned way, we find ourselves adding all kinds of impulse purchases to our cart and things we don’t really even need. This online ordering has really kept us on track and has helped us so much! This is definitely a lifesaver for people with busy lives!
Savings catcher has been discontinued in my area since May 14th
Just this month Walmart got rid of their savings catcher!:(.
mikes two percent milk
asian two massage sheets silk
scott andrews wool kilt
So, is there a way to add a Walmart pickup receipt to savings catcher? Maybe I misunderstood. I do not see a TC code on the emailed receipt. Thank you.

So AMazon is better sense I will not have to TIp all the time
I’ve started using this app a month ago and I love it!
Sundays are days I reserve for myself and greocery shopping takes alot out of my day so this is revolutionary the longest part is waiting for them to deliver my stuff after I call
STUFF YOU TESCO ILL GO ELSEWHERE IF I DON’T STARVE WHEN THIS STUPID PANIC IS OVER
Do they give you like the freshers vegetables and fruits and also like for bread and things that expire do they give you enough days. And have there ever been a time when something was missing from your list when you got home
I sure hope permission was given to have the worker in the video. I’d be not happy if one of my customers filmed me and put it on YouTube without my permission.
I work for Wal-Mart, we have what they call OGP, online grocery pickup, yes I have used it, usually when we go camping and I don’t want to shop after working all night, or I schedule it around my daughter’s work schedule she also works there. Then I go pick her up AND my groceries WIN!
Once I got the notification, I had to tune in and learn something new
Great video. Just a lot of guestions
.What about ripeness levels? I guess I’m weird thinking this( like with bananas) when I go I find the greenest ones so I have a while to eat them. And the sale by date like milk I want the furthest out. And eggs I make sure they aren’t broke. I mean I just don’t understand. Then check out if you don’t want the subs. You don’t pay for them does the money go right back on card or like 3 to 5 days like returns?
It’s nice that you get out and help! Obviously we don’t expect you to but it’s always nice when someone does.
Thanks great video. And I gave you a well deserved thumbs up. Please keep the excellent content coming.
Man I did not know they did that the delivery I knew you could order it and go pick it up but the delivery because I had surgery and that was hard if I would have known that I would have totally do that so thanks for the heads up even if it’s been out there for a while I know sometimes you just do it yourself but now I know
it used to be people were so lazy and sometimes too fat to just park in the back for a brisk walk. however, now it is that we are so fucking lazy we have to order it online and have people get the groceries for ourselves. im glad im in the military and that i can actually physically function and do things for myself jesus christ.
I haven’t found our WalMart to be cheaper than say Kroger or Meijer so very seldom do I purchase groceries at WalMart.
Whoa, That’s cool! I’m going to see if they will deliver to me. I HATE shopping!
How is payment handled? Online or at curbside? Credit or debit or are both accepted?
We live in middle-of-nowhere Kentucky, so we don’t have this service, unfortunately:( Jealous!
My walmart store finally got this, totally gonna give it a try!
Ordered from Amazon Fresh. I spend less online. I always just get what is on my list. I’m always getting more than I want or need at the grocery store. Prices are excellent and 5$ tip is included.
HOW ABOUT GIVING “SLOWER INSTRUCTION” TO ACCESS THE PRIORITY LINE.THE lady there runs at 200 mph!!!
