God bless both of you. Always move with Lord, Jesus have a nice Planning about you.
Hi I’m a 2nd year PT student, can I ask how hard is it to seek employment if you’re with a medical condition? I am in a dilemma on whether I should pursue med school or a higher education in Physical Therapy and open up a business. Thanks for the your insights presented in this video btw.
What really made me stop was when you described how “when I’m stressed out, working with the patients makes that all go away”. The stress is not your job…that got me.
I get all of my energy from people and remember my first physical therapist. They inspired me to pursue the field. I am friendly and positive. This helped, thank you!
I always dreamed of one day being a private owner in PT. I’m in my undergrad and still have a little ways to go. Would you be willing to be my mentor in this process?
I’m a physical therapist in the Philippines I’m giving free therapy treatment for the frontliners
Great video! We’re planning to open our clinic and in the process of finding a location. I have a question. Do you need Provider Credentialing to run a clinic? Also if we’re not going to accept cash are we required to get Salex Tax? Finally what type of insurance should we buy? Thanks!
useless. Should not have named it “How to Get Started With Opening a Physical Therapy Clinic?” if all it talks about is common sense.
If you like high debt and low pay then yes being a standard PT is a good option. Especially with the medicare changes continuing to come and dwindling reimbursement
Dear Bob and Brad people round the world benefit from your useful clips which you present in good cheer. In Buddhist tradition, the likes of you who are committed to serve without expectations are called ‘Bodhisatvas’-meaning potential Buddhas. Bless you two Sapukotana
I just found your channel and needless to say I have searched high and low for YEARS trying to find all of this information about starting a clinic, PTA vs PT, doing PTA first then DPT, etc. and you answer every possible question future students/current students are wanting to know. So thank you SO much for making these videos and even the checklist for this video is like…WHOAH! So thoughtful and so helpful! So I guess I’m just trying to say thank you so much for making these videos!
I love you guys. What do you suggest if we cannot get down on the floor and don’t happen to have a PT table?
I was Wondering how long the pta school days were? Like what time did you start school and what time did it end and how many days a week?
My ring finger gets locked. I also get pain in the left shoulder, and upper arm. What is the excersice i need to do
People keep telling need I should be a physical therapist because of my training style.
I tell them this is a doctorate and I can’t sit still. I mean I hate sitting much less still, living hell. And it hurts. Like that’s the blinding pain that breaks the body, I’ll take the pain of movement and heavy things. I’ll take the pain of contact sport. I’ll take major spinal damage, now that’s pain. But I won’t take sitting.
Now I’d really like to work this out with education because I test off the charts and have mental horsepower that craves academia.
If you guys could figure that out. How does a guy like me do all that reading? Before you say stand up desk, I built an adjustable one that puts a laptop or book dead center eye level. It’s custom. It solves much of the pain. Not all. You’ll need to stretch the hip flexors and activate the medius and minimus.
Here’s the issue, I walk away from it. I can’t be still. I’m super hyper on weed. Secretly I despise coke and meth heads not just for all the standard reasons, i don’t understand why any normal person would take a substance that make them suffer my energy levels? Why would you choose this? And they are bad at it.
Im naturally wired to have my brain move very fast and be directly connected to my feet. If I think it my body is already doing it and my feet are already moving through space time.
I have found multiple stations help. A reading station, a research station, a resistance band workout station. I don’t just read a text, I have questions and go deep down rabbit holes with other references.
I studied the serratus Anterior for a month to fully understand how much power and speed it truly adds to athletic movement.
I still disagree with not stretching the hamstrings with lower cross syndrome and went down a deep rabbit hole on that. Here’s what it’s like in my head for a single page of text.
If you have lower cross syndrome from sitting, yes the hip flexors are shortened, but sitting is a shortened hamstring position as well. If I teach kicks to a person with Anterior pelvic tilt and don’t address hamstring flexibility, they are going pull or tear a hamstring. Of course the assessments indicate lengthened heartstrings, they have Anterior pelvic tilt and you have them standing straight legged. You didn’t cue them too squeeze their butt before doing postural assessments, but you did tell them to stand im a position that is straight legged.
Here’s the thing, people with lower serious lower cross syndrome, in the real world are also bent at the knee cause their hamstrings are shortened. I realized this watching an old cowboy get out of a truck. Yes he has lower and upper crossed syndrome but he’s legs don’t want to straighten cause his hamstrings are locked up.
Look even if the hamstrings are in a lengthened position that doesn’t mean the tissue isn’t knotted up and tight from inactivity and sitting. It means that the filaments that actually cause muscle to contract, they are sitting at a lengthened position in their travel. Doesn’t mean that muscle is ready for full range of motion under load without addressing flexibly. Lord these people read a study and without understanding the limitations of the study, they throw reality out the window. Prove to me that lower cross syndrome means this person can’t pull a hammy.
This is me taking in one page of text. I read 100 other pages looking for answers. It took forever, cause I can’t bloody stand still for this mental process.
Should I seek an 8 year degree in an environment and with people where sitting down and being agreeable are key? No, no I shouldn’t.
Should I just read the text and not go down rabbit holes? No, cause that’s not how my brain works, and then I’d just be an average bear.
How do I get started with PT house call program in my neighborhood targeting geriatric population?
That “shoulder blade to opposite pocket” move felt amazing for my opposite (“pocket side”) middle/lower back! That was surprising. And I’ve been doing that stretch for years, but only pushing down (not across). Amazing what a difference these subtleties can make. It is fascinating. On top of helping me manage my chronic pain from time to time, you guys really make me want to learn more about anatomy. Much, much appreciated. Thank you.
Can you do a video discussing what it means to be a PTA and opening a pt clinic?
Hi Guys, one of my colleagues is a yoga teacher. She told me that during the cobra stretch it is imperative that the knees come off the ground to ensure you don’t bring the spine too far into dorsal flexion and avoid any impingement issues. Can you confirm this?
Hey Bob and Brad, what is “tone” And how to strengthen this uncontrollable shaking of this one leg?
Thank you boys. Hopefully I will be like new in a years time. We I’m 72 so new for my age. You have been able to help me so much.
You can also use the power of opposites by putting a towel behind the top of your head, and press your head into the towel you pull the towel forward. It’s a great neck exercise.
You can also use your hands for the same thing and you can put them on your forehead and press into it too. I’m surprised you negated that first towel exercise when it’s on your head that’s precisely when you can push into it and release the neck muscles in the front of the neck
I believe in the quote, but it’s very hard to do with chronic pain. Helps to have gentle touch from someone in the problem area.
I question my profession with PDPM changes, but I guess that’s based upon the setting treatment is being provided.
Pretty awesome when you have severe chronic spine issues, and then you go and get a a near fatal car accident and break your pelvis in 3 places, and your wrist in 3 places… And not only does your Physical Therapist doctor, but also your PT Tech, and your Pain Management Surgeon (who is in a different practice) all agree that These guys give great safe advice.
On top of it everything listed below I also was in a near fatal car accident in which the car ended up in a tree on March 9th, 2020. I broke my pelvis on the left side in 3 places (was told I wouldn’t be able walk for 6 to 8 months), and broke my left wrist also in 3 places one of which was a very abnormal break, and then 10 weeks later feel on it and broke it some more)
Here is the pre-car accident issue with my spine

You lost me at 6-7 years school, I’m thinking massage therapy.
The PT profession has been very, very, VERY poorly represented by the ivory tower academics at the APTA. Instead of fighting for what’s best for our profession, Those CLOWNS ACTUALLY ADVOCATED FOR THE WORST, most complex, convoluted law in our nations hx. Instead of understanding the long term ramifications of obamacare, they actually believed that your insurance rates would drop $2500.00, u would keep your doctor and your access to paying patients would increase LOL.
Everyone that actually pays For health insurance, has had their premiums skyrocket (unless your one of those that expects your neighbor to pay for your health insurance)….APTA leaders are mind numb robots that bought into this hook line and sinker! I have 13 years of advanced education with 9 of those being 3 PT degrees with two being advanced PT degrees. When I am told that I have less knowledge and less training than chiropractors that is farcical. yet chiropractors have open access. They primarily work in outpatient clinics although periodically one gets hired by a hospital once in a blue moon. For PT’s it can be difficult finding jobs based on the area you live ( how many schools have opened up in your area). Where I live, the state Allows me 15 days of treatment without a referral from a physician. That’s a travesty compared to chiropractors. Instead of the APTA focusing on how Obamacare would affect reimbursements, the APTA was spewing garbage about,”our diversity is our strength “…..wow, thats a concrete solution to real problems yet thats how out of touch they are living in the DC Virginia corridor. I wouldn’t go back into PT. I want out of the profession thanks to the legislation and the direction we are headed (thanks APTA I spend almost 800 per year in dues and sub specialty journals). Folks, there’s way too many schools, along with lowering reimbursements which continually decrease. If you can figure out a unique way to reach potential patients then by all means. Otherwise do something less draining! Thank you for this opportunity to vent my frustration. You guys are a lot of fun! Cheers to the TWO MOST FAMOUS PT’s I’ve ever known!
I did the shoulder blade crunch when shoulder pain happened, after a few crunches the pain went. I have had no pin relief for 3days. I would say I have 90 percent less pain after seeing these guys. Long may they continue to help us mortals.
I found that you are repeating subjects in your videos, what is good, because when I browse through them, I know repeated ones are the most important and then it is easy to remember those tricks for my painful back! Thank you B&B!
subscribe to my channel it’s called abraham sharif my sprint start
Someone undesirable trying to kiss you! I love the adjectives and nuances you guys use
Question please I got a Cortizone injection in my back I had tingling right down to my foot. A week after the injection my foot and my ankle starts tingling, most of the time when I stand and not when I sit or lay down. Any suggestions
I’m in the last 5 months of a 20-month PTA program, and although it isn’t as long as the DPT program, it’s awfully grueling. The professors (all DPTs) explain that we learn nearly everything that a PT does, which is what makes it very challenging, since it’s shoved into such a short period of time. I know it will be worth it though! I’ve been on some clinical rotations already and I am blown away by how much I’ve learned. It’s really the hands-on experience that facilitates learning, and you’re completely right, you can’t be afraid to be hands-on! Also wanting to help people & being committed to the education piece is so important as you said— a LMT who started out in our program failed after the second semester, her reason for starting the program was “it makes more money than massage therapy!”
M’y ciatica hurts at the heal, why
Forgive my english
Thank you a million times
Just tried the shoulder trigger point relief exercise and it worked like magic I’m so impressed
10:55 How do I do these hip flexor stretches without my knee hurting? It’s the knee that’s in contact with the pillow. Thank you for great content, love you guys.
You’re both awesome! Thank you for sharing your expertise!❤️
Think you may have just given me a bit of a ‘miracle’ combined with my yoga block for this back pain! Thank you so much, you guys are utter gems
First time I see your videos and they are great. Thank you guys.
Pretty cool physicians on youtube, some of these exercise I did and didn’t even knew about em
One can use a belt in place of a strap for hamstring stretch whilst lying on one’s back
These guys are so funny but effective. Try not to do so much on the floor. I am 72 and can not get to the floor.
Common sense. Humans are not designed to stare at a damn phone all day long.
Didn’t explain the psoas stretch correctly. But in general, thanks for the tips.
Exercise for restless leg syndrome is required. Pl educate us.
Thanks GUYS!! I got my 17yr old listening to you guys!! Love you guys!!
He is interested in sports med. & Psyio.Therapy. You are helping so much!!
My husband 1st started listening to you guys & he was blasting your utube

Ya know… I suspect these two might be the most famous physical therapist online.
(‘Course that’s just in my humble opinion;)

Thanks for your help. Injured my tail bone and coccyx. Severe pain. Cannot get physio until Corona virus is over. God Bless be safe.
Are these okay for someone with spinal fusion? I have 28 year old Harrington rods and I’ve developed arthritis above and below the rods. Wondering if the backbends in particular would be helpful or potentially make things worse.
I have a Business Degree and 54 years old. I would love to be a PT but can’t do that much schooling. How about PTA? I love helping people and their quality of life.
Would you recommend become a PTA or DPT before opening a practice. Or would you say it has little impact on the business side of things. I have been a rehab tech for a year and getting ready to start the PTA program in the spring and am really excited to progress in this career. Your videos have helped me alot In understanding physical therapy thank you and keep it up.

Hi guys I just love you all for free, your therapy has really helped me. Thank you so much

You guys get kudos today actually all your shows help me in ways and I learn something new all the time and I share your knowledge please keep it up.
i cannot get my hands under my shoulder to do the back pushup. I can do it with my hands in front. however, i have had a partial discectomy years ago and wonder if this is the problem. I try to hold the position for 2 minutes but again, can’t do it with my hands under my shoulders.
Everything I teach in my yoga classes…great exercises that have been around for over 5000 years
We appreciate you coming on YouTube and giving us these hints on how to be better and healthier. When it comes to a therapist we want the hands on attention. The doctor we can take a leave generally a lot of people don’t like doctors. Because the physical therapist we feel a change more rapidly hopefully for the better. Jonas more people go on YouTube talking about physical therapy and I don’t even think that’s going to help. Physical therapist are going to be around for a long time because people want that one-on-one relationship. So thank
You guys are absolutely amazing! Yall have helped me tremendously
Hip flexor on knee Bath towel folded thick is easier put in lots of places, like car for long drives and can even make gravel soft enough. Old or Cheap but fluffy towels are much easier to have and cleans up big spills + be washed. Good stretch for sciatica pulled forward.
Great video, but I’d also like to add:
If you’re interested in becoming a PT, definitely consider doing some shadowing. It’s free & most facilities will allow you to observe after filling out the necessary paperwork.
That’s what led me to move on from Massage Therapy & become a PTA. BEST career change of my life!
Thanks for the video guys. Just recently got accepted into a DPT program and am preparing for the transition. Sometimes you need a little outside clarification to assure yourself you’re on the right path. This video definitely helped.
When I was in HiSchool, i wanted 2b a PT then a Chiropractor, but i graduates this year as Psychology major ha ha
Thank you for all these!! I sit at a computer all day at work. I recently had my bike repaired after 20+ years. I had a lot of pain along the back of my right leg when went to get on the bike and ride it. Just now when I did the hamstring stretch I could tell it was super tight. I thank you again for these exercises. I feel refreshed as I did some along with you.
I’m interested in starting my own physical therapy clinic. What advice would you give me. Have in mind that I want to take a loan to do this. Thank you
You guys don’t know how much you have helped me I keep saying that I used to get bad headaches I thought there was something wrong with my brain it was my neck all the time thank you so much
Could you show us a string of exercises we do not need go to the floor to do?
This is very good, it would have helped if I knew how long to hold or how many Reps?
Excellent, fun and easy way to learn correct body movement for fitness, yoga and Pilates instructors. I am certified in all three movement modalities and integrate what I learn from these guys all the time! Thank you Bob & Brad!
I have cunchy vertebrae, and Patricia Walden, yoga instructor, taught us to place two stacked pillows on floor, with third pillow behind, and very slowly sit with knees bent, and lie down face up over the pillows, to allow back muscles to relax. Once relaxed, lower legs one at a time. I follow that with a tightly folded over and rolled-up towel on floor, and roll back over it, arms folded over chest, until vertebrae align. Works every time.
My question might not be answered, but what about a person who had spinal surgery like myself; rods, fusion to the whole middle part of the spine, to correct severe scoliosis.. Are these seven exercises o.k. for someone like me? I have a lot of movement in upper and lower spine. I feel much better because of the surgery and I want to stay feeling healthy and strong, not in pain, trying the right exercises daily. Thank you so much!
Man I really wish I was better academically because everything talked about in the video I can do besides the liking/being good at school. I would love to become a PT but the schooling part of it is really discouraging
Finished my applications to DPT school and am now waiting to hear back…Very nerve-wracking but I know this is the career for me
Hi guys I just love you all for free, your therapy has really helped me. Thank you so much
So much love for you two! Thank you for this and all of your videos!
this is great guys!! I have been thinking of making a “Was PT School Worth It?” video and this is in the same vein as what my thoughts are!
this is excellent for people to have the facts. The school counselors really don’t know!
Regarding the hamstring stretch. I noticed on two different videos each of you had your head off the surface. Is this ‘the way’ to do it (perhaps by creating a curve in the spine) or is it just as OK to do it with your back and head flat on the surface, and why or why not?
Do you guys have predictions on the job market for DPT and PTA during/after the coronavirus crisis?
Wow, I love this. Am a student going for my PT degree here in Nigeria. It’s a 5 year course, the regulatory bodies are trying to upgrade it to a DPT program so far some progress has been made. Thanks for this video.
Ooooo! Can’t wait to try these! I have a miserable neck. My C4/C5 are congenitally fused. Chronically stiff, pissy neck after 35 years of computing.
Thanks brothers am wanting to become a physical therapist soon but money and school, is tight but I I hope all will workout. Tha ja for the information
Hello Bob and Brad!
i have done DPT
further i want to do master degree in chiropractic is it good?is it relates to our field..please
I want to become a physical therapist but I dont know how to begin. What courses should I study? Idk if I should start as a PTA or PT? Please help me I’m lost and feel discouraged.
im an introvert been working healthcare since 16. does not stop you working with patients, now going for pt
I am a highschool track athlete and I messed up my hip pretty badly with labral tears, impingement, and apophysitis. I went to a physical therapist for 4 months!! Before that I always knew I wanted to pursue a medical career but now I seriously consider going into physical therapy. I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!jahsbsjsis
Also just love your channel in general. Very epic.
Thank you both. I have been considering a career in this field because I already work in the medical field. I enjoy doing it and ortho work has always appealed to me and genuine fitness health. Great video!
Hi guys, love your channel. I work as a PT in Sweden. If you have done your education in another country is there a possibility to come and work in the states or do you need to have a american license?
I am a big fan of PT John Barnes who helped bring Myofascial Release therapy to PT. Do you guys every talk about that type of therapy since it is PT?
Big Fan Moment: (cue to 7:20 min. mark on introvert v. extrovert) Both of you fellows are “allocentric,” which Webster’s defines as: “having one’s interest and attention centered on other persons,” to which I would add in person and more markedly focused on their personal good. But I never thought about Bob’s point, either, that extroverts get their renewed energy from interaction with others, while introverts derive their power supply from breaks. Both are simply styles, I guess…Kind of a nature gave me this modality bit. (P.S. Not trolling…Just thankful for the tip from you bothI just bought the Thermotex Platinum pad, two days ago, am using it as I write these words and have greatly relieved the pain and restored greater mobility from a neck injury that I have been restricted by for decades. So, with the neck exercises you’ve demonstrated elsewhere, I am going to do even better over time. Thanks again for your jaunty and very practical insturctions here, on YouTube.) Cheers from Plymouth, MI.
As a mom of an undergrad student who is leaning towards physical therapy this video was informative and fun to watch. Ill be forwarding this video to my daughter. Thank you
Thank you for the video. Ever since corona I have been playing lot of golf. Looking down at the ball all day has altered my posture and bothered my neck and hands If I stretch it gets rid of the nerve pinching but I feel like I have to stretch the neck every ten minutes when I golf. Anything I can do about this? I have to look down in golf
I am 52 days out hip surgery and my x-rays showed disc and facet disease in the lumbar spine. I definitely notice lower back pain when going on walks. Any suggestions on which exercises would be best for me?
You’re telling me, Bob and Brad THE MOST FAMOUS, PHYSICAL THERAPISTS, ON YOUTUBE… are promoting a massage gun? a gimmick, a machine that has no science based evidence on how it helps the body. For all we know 4000 revolutions a second on your muscles, tendons, bones could be HORRIBLE for you. I am now skeptical Bob and Brad.
I wish I had gone to PT school instead of going into Pharmacy!! You’re a health professional who helps people feel better without drugs. Drugs have their place, but I really have gotten so much help for my various aches and pains from my Physical Therapist!!! What a great career!!
great video. I work as a rehab tech in an acute/rehab hospital and just applied to PT school. this video couldn’t be any more true
This is unrelated, but when I extend my knee fully, run, squat a little, or even walk, my knee starts to hurt quite a bit. The other day, I landed on my back with my knee bent and my foot by my head (if you know what I mean) and it didn’t hurt much until a couple days later. Do you know anything about it???
Training physio and proud! I’m having to do my undergrad in Sport rehabilitation then a masters in physiotherapy to qualify. I totally agree with your list, people skills and desire to help people are fundamental concepts to the job! Big fan of your videos, have aided a lot with revision love from the UK
Are you saying that stretching the hamstrings will help with upper back/shoulder issues?
Another miracle just happened with that towel exercise, I’ve had tangling through my arms for a week and I did all your pinched nerve videos but no change, just ten of these and gone thank you
Thanks for this video, I’m finishing my bachelor’s degree and it gets hard and kinda makes you think if this is really what I want, and I always end up with the same answer, yes. Really, thanks for the video!
Doing these with dogs is great! My four are having a ball. Dog kisses and body streches
Personality. You have to like people. You have to have patience a great deal of patience. I’d say for the most part people appreciate the therapist. But there are those who are so picky or whatever that helping them could be a chore. Those are patience and endurance and love for the job in the people that you deal with
After 23 years in the field and seeing almost continuous cutbacks, I’m now, probably, only allowed to do about 20 percent of what I learned in school. Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid will no longer pay for many services or will not pay enough to cover your hourly rate, so bosses will not allow it. I really fear that unless Obamacare is overturned, PT and OT will be replaced by paper handouts or digital video files given by a doctor or nurse. Therapy is a luxury in many countries, and could be the same here someday.
When he said “Slap that subscribe button… like I want to slap Brad”
Thanks guys!! Great video! I’m a former RN. IM TRCOVERING FROM A STROKE FROM LAST YEAR. I WOULD BE VERY INTERESTED IN BEING THE PT for my own personal knowledge heck yeah!!
Being an ex nurse, I think you have to be a people person to a certain extent in any job involving the Health sector, in my opinion of course Bob and Brad I’ve worked with quite a few good Physios in my time
FYI do NOT go to pharmacy school too many pharmacists already. The schools of pharmacy pay $250,000 per year to belong to the association. The schools want your tuition money…talk to pharmacists.
Brushless unlike Bob’s hair.
This was actually a very good and interesting video, thanks
Saved myself 250K in tuition costs thanks to fellas like you on youtube! I treat my own injuries thanks to channels like this. Progressive credentialism is infecting physical therapy! Avoid unless you have an entrepreneurial spirit and plan to build multi million dollar practices. Otherwise, the financial ROI is no longer there like it was a couple decades ago.
I love learning about the movements of the human body. I’m a senior in high school and I am looking in Kinesiology and Exercise Science for a degree in college but I am unsure what I want to do with that degree. I play tennis and I love calisthenics. I’ve looked into personal training but I don’t think they make very much money. Do you have any advice as to what careers I should look into that would fit my interests while also giving a salary (hopefully) above $70,000?
I am curious about your opinion on body type, physical therapy can be very demanding on the body. Bob seems to be very tall, is this an issue with ergonomics while working with clients in the massage table?
I found myself at an Amway convention many years ago. (I didn’t know what Amway was at that time) Almost all of the people there promoting Amway were former physical therapists. I alway thought afterwards that being a physical therapist must be a terrible job to want to leave it to do Amway.
Bob and Brad great topic. The field of PT has mushroomed out of control. Currently to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy you need to go to school for 7 years. The APTA plans to increase it to 8 years. They would like students to do a mandatory 1 year residency program. Unless your parents pay for your schooling you will be in the hole over $100,000. A Physical Therapist Assistant only requires a 2 year degree. And it’s cheaper. Consequently, I started as a PTA and then went to PT school. I would disagree with your comments “You have to be nice as a PT.” There are alot of PTS that are complete jerks and take advantage of the insurance system. It’s a real shame to see a therapist give a ten minute treat and over charge the patient. I went to school in the 80’s and it was much easier back then and cheaper. If I had to do it again today I would rather be a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant (you can work nights and get paid more money). I find as a PT we have to deal with Insurance companies and get denied visits. The Physician don’t get harassed as compared to PTs. They spend on average 10 minutes with their patients and get paid more than a PT who will spend on average 40 minutes with their patients. Being a PT is a lot of work and on your body. PTs are prone to back and hand injuries. Hate to sound negative. Regardless, thank you so much for your videos. Dr Rob.
HELLO GENTLEMEN PLEASE ANSWER IF YOU CAN!! I have symptoms of tight muscles in right glute and right calf when in the process of going from a seated position to standing and also the reverse but after I sit the glute or tightness which is intense subsides after about 30 seconds it relaxes. The issue started last week after a intense but slow workout of burpees of 100 which took about 25 min and water jug squats of roughly 80lbs. 3×10. Any thoughts?
I would like to order their equipment but I can’t get to the right site.
I didn’t become interested in becoming a physical therapist until after I got my degree in media arts and science and become in too much debt to go back to school. Oh well, the idea was nice.
Awesome!! I’m also an introvert, but I love working to help people in person.
I’m an introverted Massage Therapist and this sort of interaction with people is PERFECT for me. Deep quality One-on-One time with the client.
I would think that it would be similar as a PT?
I just don’t dig superficial surface conversations with large amounts of people. I just want to do what I can to help people in pain.
Thank you so much! I don’t have pain, luckily, but I’m going to be doing these exercises to help prevent pain.
I started out in college wanting to be a PT but got scared off by the “science classes for science majors” so I changed majors.
Regretted it and at 40 decided to do something similar so went to massage school.
At 52 I still regret not going for it.
Great video and informative from a different perspective. Keep it up!
Question? In your class on knee pain, I dangled my legs and moved them back and forth. Immediately after that I experienced much pain and that was the Friday after Thanksgiving. Still dealing with increased pain, needing to start using a walker and am wondering if I need a scooter. I have an ortho appt. set for 12/11/2019. Help, what went wrong?
ive dealt with my father going through a few long stints of hospital stays and i was happy to stay calm and help out and once home, get him in the little home gym i built. so i am not afraid of hospitals, my only thing is i feel really bad for some people who have, ‘that’ look on their face.
anyways my father has said multiple times that i should be a nurse.
im also a complete introvert at a party, but one on one, i shine. so having watched this.. hmmmmm.
I’m in the last 5 months of my DPT program right now and this was a great video! The main downside I would say is the cost of tuition relative to the salary to be made. Unless there is assistance in some way shape or form, most students now a days will be in six figure debt myself included.
Haven’t finished the video yet but wondering how is being a PTA better and how is it worse than being a physical therapist. Interesting topic you could bring your PTA that you guys have brought to speak about it
Great video. I’ll watch rest of them too. In my opinion, the background music is a little too loud. Great content. Thank you.
I prefer hitting Tape Measure shots vs getting into your field of work
Rosalinda below mentioned an idea of printed charts of the exercises to hung them on the wall. They would be useful for massage therapists, physiotherapists…and for your wallet as well:) Me as a massage therapist I have found a lot of useful tricks here
Thank you Bob Brad Great Show Lots of Information ❄❤❄❤❄❤❄❤❄❤
Will this help with someone with a completely worn out wrist.
