Hearty Vegetable Stew 0:02
Vegetable Dumpling Soup 1:03
Chickpea & Sweet Potato Stew 2:17
Protein Packed Chili 3:11
Tried out the dumpling stew this lockdown, added beer and balsamic vinegar for a bit of acidity against the sweetness of onions and carrots (dont judge it till u taste it) and it was sooo good
hi maangchi if i cant find fernbrek what should i use instead
Okay I eat meat, I’m no vegan but some of you meat eaters are fucking clowns. Not every recipe needs meat. Grow the fuck up.
YUM!!
in place of the dumplings in soup i like to use pierogies.
In india we call it sabji ( curry) which we use to eat with chapati (roti) daily.
The link to the recipes is incorrect. Where are the recipes for this vid?
can I replace flourr with cornstarch? I’m gluten sensitive
I tried the second soup. I guarantee, it tastes sooo good
YOOOOOO!! The link to the recipe is showing an entirely different soup recipe from the video
I’ve always been curious…what cuts are the Asian beef meatballs made from?
Unless I missed something I haven’t seen anyone make my fave… Minestrone!
I can genuinely live off her smiley satisfaction shrugs. I love those, it’s so cute!!
Damn that’s a lot of stuff for some noodle soup I try it though
Is the wine in the first recipe important? If so, does anyone know of a non alcoholic alternative to use?
lol so no meat + a shitton of flour is supposed to be healthy now? nice bit of vegan propaganda there
Certi accostamenti nemmeno mi verrebbero in mente…
Che schifo!!
Hey I’m allergic to cinnamon, do you think I could try it without the cinnamon?
I am new on YouTube
Check my channel
I just uploaded a delicious tart recipe video
In the first recipe they didn’t mention u have to put oil before putting the mushrooms in. If u observe clearly u can see the oil
3:26 he says “there are a few more things we’re going to add to this… carrots, tomatoes.” What happened to that whole onion on the cutting board that miraculously disappeared before you added the tomatoes? I’d say it’s an essential ingredient; green onions by themselves don’t have enough volume to impart the full-bodied onion flavor that the broth needs. Viewers can thank be later:)
How is all purpose flour( refined flour) healthy in any way. It could b substituted with rice/wheat/gram or any other whole grain flour
I watched this at 6:45 AM then started wondering why my stomach was growling…
perfect! I needed new recipes due to my diet (only soups) and I will try all of them <3
Kinda nice but I would pimp them with some Beef or Pork instead of these vegan things
Yum! Will definitely try these now can you please do another video of soups for non vegans and human omnivores
I hate how boiled veggies feel but I’m also a newbie to cooking so I have no clue how to fix that i guess mixing it or something?
Yessiree….because Healthy = No Meat Whatsoever….right? A better title for this would have been: 4 Hearty Vegetarian soups to fill you up. (pssst….Humans are Omnivores for a reason )
Having said that, the first recipe is something I’m going to have to try sometime, looks awesome.
love korean food. but everything about korean cooking is so exp…from ingredients to utensils and bowls etc. lol
The smushing the miso in the big spoon to dissolve it is borderline genius!
I really enjoy watching you, but i am really imperssed how you always wash your vegetables very well. That is so important! I very rarely see that with many chefs and a lot of people never do that. Thank you Maangchi.
That chili at the end had too many ingredients due my lazy ass to make it but it looks delicious AF
Im also cooker here in Philippine but I’ve learn the Korean or Japanese food now I wont to prepare for my love one
Hi, person scrolling down the comments. Hope you have a great day! I am just a regular teenager who has recently started a cooking channel. Tasty’s really great but I hope you will give my channel a chance. Thank you!
I don’t make soups or Chili’s unless I’m doing a minimum of 10 quart and usually 26 quarts. I share with people and I freeze quite a bit so that I can have a choice of variety of a nice meal when I don’t have any help to cook.
When you don’t have any food so you binge watch Tasty videos to ease the hunger
Lies! Veggie soup never fills me up. They may taste good, but they never satisfy.
Yasss! These look so good, though I’d probably use barley or brown rice in place of quinoa since I hate the texture.:)
Could you plz do a meat inspired episode and mac n cheeze i know you have put plz do more. And maybe rolled ice cream.
whomever keeps removing the bay leaves are weak and natural selection is coming for you
I made the vegan chili last night and it was AMAZING! 10∕10 would make again
Is there something else you can use other than flour to thicken it up?
Indonesia also wash the meat maangchi. Usually i will use salt and lime for that. We can get good smell chicken meat.
“You can eat cooked bacteria” Omg Maangchi why are you so cute <3
It looks a lot like this mexican meal https://youtu.be/2sKzUveIRIE she even puts rice with it like Koreans do! Koreans call it 밥을 말아먹다
Fernbrake is everywhere in arunachal Pradesh u can find them anywhere but we didn’t know that it could be stored like this
hey maangchi:) you are really so sweet and thanks a lot for your videos… wich mushroom you recommend for your dish?
best wishes from Germany 😉
I totally understand in this day and age how cleanliness is vital to our health but we have been eating the same foods just about (chicken, beef, pork, turkey, foul, goat, and many things in the ocean). For years ppl didn’t know to “wash and scrub” their chicken or vegetables down yet for over 300,000 years ppl have survived.
I have gout, severe gout and sometimes I’m lucky enough to stand and cook. Other times I’m lucky enough to stand, wash things down and cook.
All in all I encourage everyone to wash things down because seems like in America we have way to many new unwelcome guests and way too many unwelcome guests that we rid of years ago have reappeared. I’m speaking about viruses by the way.
Maanchi, you always cut the tip of the chicken, I’m from Puerto Rico and when I was little my grandpa always buy BBQ chicken and we always make turns to eat that tip. So I’m only eat it every other Sunday. I always suffer when I see you take it out and discard it.
I feel hungry after watching this. It looks delicious and yummy
Hi Mangchi..
Fernbrake is not available in my country is there any alternative?? Please tell me..
we asian, we always washed our ingredients, bcz we want it to be clean. so i dont get why people are getting mad at her for washing her ingredients
I can’t find Korean green onion anywhere in Fresno, CA. sad face I know it’s flavor is very good.

iki podo karo sop ayam pak min klaten ning di ublag sambel kurang brambang goreng.
Maangchi, in Turkey people wash their chicken with water but some might do it with water and lemon juice/vinegar.
Maangchi hi how are you? im new in your channel but really impresive and very happy because all your recipe is easy to follow.when this pandemic will stop i gonna cook the some of your recipe thank you and more power to your show God Bless

Also, try this! Bought a load of bean sprouts from Sainsbury’s. Put them in hot water for a few mins. Drained them and set aside. In my wok, put a dash of sesame oil, then garlic and chilli for about a minute, and set aside. Then put in a dash of oil and added 3 teaspoons of mae ploy Tom Yum paste and simmered it out until the oil separated. Then added spring onion, the garlic and chillies and then the bean sprouts. Toss well, add a little more sesame oil and black pepper and…. OMG… HEAVEN!!!!

Any soup I a winner in my book, especially when paired with a crusty roll
Omg yes!! I love noodle soups and I love Marion’s recipes
amazing soup recipes, beautifully explained… and you look terrific too, as always!! just to note, as another viewer also commented, never boil miso if you want to preserve its healthful properties. check this link for more info: https://www.drweil.com/diet-nutrition/recipes/miso-soup/ STAY WARM, VEGGIE VEGGIE ROSY ROSE!! WE. NEED. YOU.
this looks super delicious I will try it! Just a tipp for the miso, you always mix it in AFTER taking the pot from the heat, as the boiling will destroy some of the flavours and the nutrients.
Yummy I’m going to make the first one tonight since I have the ingredients!
Um, yum!. I have dumplings in my freezer. I’m so gonna make this happen this week
Wow Veggie Rose what awesome recipes. These are on the menu this week.

OMG.. my mouth is watering as I am watching the video, sssooo which one shall I make
Spoilt for choice….Thank You
Love Asian food and soups. Perfect recipe. Only wish my fiance liked mushrooms lol, but I love them so that one could be for me:)
I enjoyed this video! You are very pleasant to watch. The soup looks wonderful and comforting, as my window is being pelted with a cold Autumn rain storm!
People who say don’t wash the chicken because of the bacteria are the ones who don’t wash their sinks. So who’s the gross one?
Oh those flower shaped carrots & peppers!! Great idea, yum!
Tip: if you’re a vegetarian save all your scraps in a bag in your freezer. When the bag fills up add it tall to a pot and add water and boil for at least half hour-
2 hrs, salt it to taste vwuala home made veggie stock. And its delicious.
You’re recipes look amazing! THe final product is always so appetizing. Well done!
U r absolutely right. I wash mine too. Thanks 4 the recipe.
How does a dumpling taste? I’ve never had any. Does it absorb the flavors of the other ingredients or does it just taste like flour?
I’m so motivated about making this soup it healthy to since I’m a vegan thanks for posting this video up
Wow that looks so delicious thank you for sharing this yummy recipe. ♀️❤️
I made it tonight. Got recipe from Pinterest. Good. I added some items.
I just made this recipe tonight for a quick dinner and I absolutely loved it! I added my own twist on the veggies and some spices but this was an excellent recipe for a vegan beginner

YUM! This is going to be my “Go-to” dish. Thanks for making this video:)
This looks just delicious! Yummy and healthy, too! I will be making this soup Monday or Tuesday.
3:03 am rn and I’m watching this without sleeping.. So hungry
Is the aromatics and taste of the soup in the same realm as Pho?
Sincerly, Pho-lover.
noodles were invented by chinese. taiwanese copy cat the chinese. they even copy cat chinese language!
israeli soul book in the background? you guys are disgusting for supporting those murderers!
7:24.. “not bad”.. never heard a chef not hype up their food.. kinda refreshing
It’s impossible to obtain these ingredients so I must go to this restaurant
This recipe is gorgeous and it’s a shame that non Japanese asian countries don’t receive the same attention, respect, interaction.
I would destroy this but man making it at home alot of prep and ingredients.
The perfect man, super cute and can make me a bangin’ bowl of beef noodle soup
Mangchi Looks so good, lots of vegetable.
Me Looks so good, lots of chicken
Seems like a ton of soy sauce but I’m sure he knows best….
Made this 2nite for a few NON vegans. Added a ton of Bok Choy, cabbage and shrooms. EVERYONE LOVED IT and said it was better than anything they’d ever got at a Chinese Restaurant! EXCELLENT! (I added noodles also)
“people are so obsessed with tender” FINALLY, a chef who appreciates chewy meat.
Just started my vegan journey, saw this, tried this, fell in love….poked around your site….new subscriber!!!
Wow, the soup must be intensely tasteful with all the herbal ingredients. I want to try it sooooooooooko baddddddddd.:(
I don’t know why I am watching this. There are like 7500 spices in there, I will never attempt to make it. But it sure looks delicious.
Me watching all this Asian style videos in Central America where there’s no way in hell I can get those ingredients
Kind of nice seeing a non excessive, very sincere chef sharing a recipe. Those noodles look legit, definitely gonna try making that bowl.
mmm. had a gig at a Vietnamese place for a bit. of course it’s not exactly the same, but reminds me of the bun bo hue
Why would you do all this work for jarred sauce when you could just substitute the sauce for a can of tomatoes and have a sauce that’s better and healthier?
I want to make this but some of the ingredients look difficult to find
This recipe is seriously the bomb. My toddler and baby loves it too! And my husband keeps asking me to make it again!
For Muslims, theres a halal beef noodle shop 5mins near SunYatSen station in Taipei. Recommends going there if you had the chance. Dunno if its still there or not.
Really loved everything in the video, I wish I was as passionate about anything as you are with your beef noodle soup bro.
I was in Taiwan two years ago. These geniuses know how to cook, i can tell you that.
what a legend. i just made these bad boys and came out just like the ones i ate in Taiwan!
thanks a bunch man
Im indonesian here, kinda itch my eyes to see the indonesian word of ‘Watch more’ is ‘Tonton Lainnya’.
I think its more appropriate to use ‘Tonton Lagi’.
Because ‘Tonton lainnya’ is Watch the other […]
Omg, this looks freaken delicious!!! Going to make this soon..
Is there a missus? I am willing to be a Miss Ho if I can get good food everyday.:)
02:08
it’s funny! we kind of do this traditional dish (really
popular in Middle east)
called Marqoq (مرقوق)
no authentic just for white people who think they are cultural
I can’t get a hold of fernbrake, what else can I use that’s easy to get? Thanks
I always taste my food in front of my friends after cooking and also comment how great it smells and taste.
In reality, I know I made the mistake but don’t want to admit it in front of them.
Brasil parabéns pela democracia, nosso presidente #JAIRMESSIASBOLSONARO Jair Bolsonaro
Hello Maangchi
Thanks for the delicious recipes. I always enjoy it. One question for you. To make dakaejang, is fernbrake must have ingredients? Can I skip it coz I can’t get it due to lockdown. Thank you, be safe lots of love from France
those knifes behind him are like
so hungry just watching this
That’s like a hundred ingredients!!!
I’ll probably just cook my favourite instant Taiwanese Chili Beef Noodles.
Very authentic recipe but I don’t use ginseng and goji berries in mine.
This guy is so stupid, you think we are here only to see your pretty face?
Name the ingredients correctly we are trying to do it #sniff
moved to New York & couldnt find Taiwanese food? just make the video dude, no need to lie. Flushing is basically Little Taipei
Yay, another recipe I can’t make because of multiple mystery sauce ingredients!
If my girl ever cheats on me I’ll take her to Richard’s restaurant to break-up.
You know this guy is already Americanized when he said the feel of the beef should be like tempur-pedic pillow. Americans and their units man.
Can you make jalapeno sauce with nachos…… I would be thankful for you
You know it’s authentic asian food when he chops everything with a butcher knife
chinese and taiwanese always use the cai dao for everything, while the japanese have the gyuto.
I love asian, but damn it’s so unhealthy with all that sodium.
OK, it’s probably easier to just take a plane ticket to Taiwan.
You must try make a mie ayam the noodle soup from indonesia.. i hope to respon it..
2:49 “Add just a little bit of soy sauce” Literally adds like 3 cups lmao
Yumm, well presented! No more excuses left for not making Asian noodle soups from scratch. Thanks for the tutorial just subbed:)
Wow mantab gays top 3 asian noode soups like salam sukses n suport ful
COME ON CHECK THIS CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP RECIPE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6uKBnc_yfs YUMMY!!
it wld be nice if u said how much of each ingredient to use…
Would it be ok to use tofu instead of pork in second recipe? I want to adapt it for my vegetarian friend so we would both enjoy that amazing taste ❤️
Thank you for this variety. Shouldn’t hard boil miso paste it kills the cultures. In the states you can often find galangal in the freezer section of Asian markets. I freeze my kaffir lime leaves as well as lemon grass, but this year I started growing it in a container. I love Tom Yum and other Thai Toms.
Love the fact that none of the soups had any meat or dairy products! Thanks Tasty!!!! Gonna make all of them!!
I love your food. Thank you so much. I love that you attract asian people who make suggestions from home. This is officially my favorite food channel. You have displaced Gordon F-ing Ramsay.
Was the Taiwanese beef noodle actually brought to Taiwan by the fleeing mainlanders after the Chinese Civil War?
When the Person added the potatoes to the first soup I was like “stop, these are red apples” and then I noticed that these are potatoes…
when i see your Thai wonthon soup i feel like fly and come to your kitchen.. your recipes are amazing…if i dont have kafir lime leaves what will be the substitute to that??
Why not Minestrone? That’s a filling soup, and is all veggies.
You’re purely amazing I will tag you on IG when I make that Thai noodles soup thanks for the recipe
I love all kind Asian soup Noodles and your recepies is looks so Yummy
let’s be real. shoryu ramen. pho. cambodian beef stew with noodles
I can feel your passion towards cooking, and how you show love to your ingredients ❤
U’ve got a new subscriber who’ll try these funtastic soups, WOW
I’d love to see you do. Coconut chicken curry noodle soup!!! My favourite Thai restaurant makes a soup that’s almost reminiscent of the Penang curry but in a soup!! So good!!
I know you’re experimenting with filming styles as you adjust to your new setup. This video looked really good, but I miss you cooking “live” with us. Your fun personality and off the cuff remarks don’t shine here as much as when you’ve filmed other recent videos in the new kitchen. No hate just my two cents! I’ll be in the Veggie Fam no matter what you decide works best for you.
I’m glad I found your youtube video post!!i love all your noodles and soup recipes. Cant wait for more❤
You and your recipes are really quite lovely! Thank you for what you do.:)
I always soak chicken in water with ginger, lemon and salt. I blieve it helps clean it from bacteria and it also prevents the chicken from getting smelly
Hey Marion, first of all love from Yorkshire UK!! I am delighted to have come across your channel as I’m a cook. My 19 year old Son eats predominantly Asian foods and I wanna thank you for the inspiration Woman!! Thank you so so very much!! Your a gem
I love noodles!!! I will definitely have to try making all three. And love the music that played to the tomyum soup!
You inspired me to make soup today. these are so simple and sound delicious!!
Such a soothing voice. I can’t wait to try these recipes. Subscribed!
Can you make a video of Rock n Shrimp with that sweet sauce. I had it at 2 restaurants and I would like to make it at home since my daughter is obsessed with it.
Plan to make a large batch but can you freeze the Thai Beef broth as a soup base?
Great recipes and your earrings/ makeup combos are just lovely!
Oh Marion! Just what you need on a rainy or cold winters day…can these recipes get any better?
Thank you..
Marion be posting videos like there’s no tomorrow. The dishes all look delicious, though.
Great video. I’ve started a YouTube channel documenting my vegan journey and sharing vegan recipes that I’m discovering and trying out. I’ll definitely have to give this recipe a try on. Thanks for sharing
I love the recipes and how she presents them but just noticed a little detail. Technically not everything gives umami flavor. She tends to overuse this word a little.
Marion, of the three, the beef would be my favorite; however, I am a big fan of miso soup. Thy all looked delicious. Great triple threat!
I made the beef noodle soup and it’s amazing. I added spring onion and a couple ginger slices. Gotta try the others soon
My hubby made me thai beef noodle soup I almost like it though, I just doesn’t like the taste of star anise
YUM! Thank you! For a quick laugh: I use closed captioning; Google translated the last soup as “python” soup (which is probably good, too!) Gotta love Google translation for a good yuk!
I have a pack of Dennison’s Chili that are the protein-packed ones.
I love them. Though yes I love chili altogether, personally
Staggs, is my favorite chili brand, as that one was my first time
ever tasting chili that good when I was a kid, and now I’m in love with it.
For the chickpeas and sweet potato soup, the coconut oil isn’t good for you. It is a solid fat at room temp making it hydrogenated and has trans fat.
Marion.. does your husband have the same palate as you liking the more spicy entrees?.. Or does he like it less spice… I love Thai food but I have found the older I get the spicey doesnt agree with me..
Your video is getting better and better! And also, more satisfying I’m so happy you almost at 200 k subs ma’am! Keep it up
It’s a cute soup love the way u cut all the veggies!! Thx for sharing
Yummy soups! Too bad they don’t sell the root of the coriander!
Thanks, Marion. I love your video. It comes at the right time winter season
OMGLET ME HUG YOU☺Heres how my lunch is going to look like( I digress I cant eat a bowl of noodles medical poor me)Miso broth with spicy pork cabbage bean sprouts and edamame with my homemade shrimp dumplings!♀️♀️♀️slam dunk!I will send pic#!
All 3 look amazing. Definitely will cook the tom yum.
