Hey I love your videos a lot! In general I was wondering if you ever got tested for blastocystis hominis or any other parasite? Do you have an opinion on parasites as a possible cause for IBS symptoms? Thank you:)
Okay… you CAN NOT use maple syrup in a LOWFOD diet. What the hell is this?
Also, you are consuming way way to much fat and sugar with that first meal. Nuts should be very very rarely consumed.
Secondly she uses a gluten free flour. This is still coming from a grain source… just because something is gluten free, does not mean it is grain free… you can’t use derivatives of products like gluten free flour in a whole30 lowfodmap diet wth.
Can I use rice flour in Ibs? plz tell me I’m badly suffering from Ibs…..
Can I replace wheat flour with rice flour or any other flour……. can you plz tell which flour should I use???
What lowfodmap list are you using? walnuts pecans cinnamon and dried fruit all seem to be on the lists I was given:(
What dairy free yoghurt do you use? Or milk for that matter? I use lactose free milk as in on low FODMAP but I still get bloated. Soya milk is high FODMAP and almond milk tastes horrible. The diary free yogurts are usually soya based
I struck a gold mind with this video. Excellent! Please offer more recipes for lunch and dinner ideas which is Wenger I Am struggling with. Many thanks.
Im a bit confused, I’m not allowed sweet potato on my fodmap list,???
there should be a low fomap dating site..for people with ibs ibd colitis etc.
Thank you, Becky! I’m about to start the Lowfodmap diet, and I thought it would be boring as hell. Looks like I was wrong, and I’m soo thankful, and happy:D
I had this today and it is so so good! It did me 5 portions so I have 3 in the freezer for easy dinners. Thank you Carrie xx
Lovely thank you but seeing you blending chicken thighs really worsened my symptoms
I made it today and I loved it. Very delicious dish and fast. First day and first dish on a fodmap diet☺
This was lovely. I doubled it for lunch tomorrow. My lowFODMAP stock (FODY) was a bit salty so I added extra water. great recipe, thank you!
And another big thank you! I made this today and loved it so much, I immediately passed the recipe on to some friends:D it’ll be so good to have a go-to ‘safe’ recipe that’s tasty and comforting!:) <3
It’s real nice to actually see that there’s food we can eat that won’t hurt. Thank you for creating beautiful meals like this that help keep illnesses away. I hope you make more
Do you still use low fodmap diet? Please continue with the videos!
I can’t wait to make this! Do you think you could let me know what temperature you did each part on?? And by the way.. THANK YOU for actually talking about gluten free-vegan-low fodmap.. I was literally dying before I found your page, I thought I was the only one!! Thank you so so much! Everything has been super informative and helpful!
You should make a video for people that are travelling and trying to still eat low FODMAP!
omg thank you for existing! I absolutely despise cooking but watching your videos makes me not completely hate my life XD
With me recently being diagnosed with IBS I decided to watch this video for ideas but sadly with me being a fussy eater I’m not too sure about eating some of what I saw, I don’t like fish for a start, the granola well I’m sure there are gluten free versions in the supermarket I could try & find (sorry I’m lazy & probably can’t be bothered to make things from scratch for myself as I’m married with kids so have to deal with them too) I’m the only one within my family with IBS, so I’m sure there are tons of gluten free products I can find that I might like…also can someone answer me this question, what type of milk can I use in cereals & decaf coffee?
Do you have a recipe you always turn to after a bad IBS flare-up?
I am from US but you would think I am in Australia have 8 cockatoos
Thanks for the great video, Becky! I’m wondering what dairy free milk you used for the soup? I have unsweetened almond milk but I don’t know if that consistency is thick enough or if it will make the soup taste like almonds? Also, I’m hoping that chicken breast meat instead of chicken thighs will work… And I’m planning to just ballpark all the measurements but if you’re willing to share your recipe, that’d be great!! Thanks for your help!
There is not that much of recipes with low foodmap, YOU SAVE ME ❤️
New low fodmap person here! I’m excited for this new journey to get better everything on high fodmap makes me sick and it made sense because I always used to eat them! Thank you
This is low fodmap??? I’m quite surprised, but then again, I shouldn’t be, because I’ve looked at several lists and what’s not allowed on one, is allowed on the other.
If low fodmap watch that you are using low fodmap chicken stock with no added onion. Really enjoyed watching you make your meals will definitely try with a few alterations!
The first low fodmap soup I’ve made. It’s so delicious! Thank you for sharing! ♥️
Would love to see more low fodmap recipes. thank you for sharing
I’ve been doing FODMAPS diet for nearly a month. Wish I had found this video sooner, but none the less this video was fantastic!! Yay
I’m sensitive to garlic and onion do you know if those cubes have those in them or just trace amounts that they should be okay. I can’t do any over-the-counter broths so it’s so tough to make these nice soups
What an amazing video, thanks, all those meals look delicious.
Oh this looks yummy!!! I love tofu, and I can’t wait to try this!!!
wow, why heavens sake would you ever mix chicken meat with the vegetables, that’s just yacky. Just leave the meat pieces as pieces. Please!
Does anyone recomend a gluten free bread to buy? So far I have had no luck they all go slimey in the mouth.
The FODMAP diet is brand new to me, so I need, desperately, to be shown what to cook for myself. This is a start.
Just wondering, what kind of gluten free flour do you use or do you make your own blend? Saying gluten free flour is not that descriptive and different brands can be wildly different in my experience. As I see you are in the the same country as my I will not ask about brands cuz I highly doubt I will be able to buy it in Seattle. Otherwise I am definitely going to keep these recipes in mind when I finish my elemental diet.
My daughter was just told to try to eat this fodmap diet for 8 weeks then reintroduce things. Its so overwhelming, all the things she cant eat like grains and legumes and the veggies and fruit she can’t eat are all ones she likes the ones she can eat are not ones she like or not as much looking for recipes so I’m not spending my whole life in the kitchen
Can we replace maple syrup with grape syrup? It’s the only thing i have access to:(
I feel like it’s so hard for me to do stuff for myself because I have to worry about feeding the rest of my family that eat way different from me but I have to try harder…thank you for all your videos and for being so open and honest
Glad you made this video I’m 13 and doing the low fodmap diet is such a challenge for me with school
Loved this video. I’m on a lowfodmap diet and it’s so overwhelming that I haven’t been keeping it well. But I feel awful so I’m really going to try and stick it out this time.
Thanks for this superb recipe! I just cooked it… It took max 15 mins so really really easy and the taste is just incredibly rich. I love it!!
what kind of stock cubes do you use? Most are not gluten-free,
The granola recipe is incredibly tasty thanks so much for sharing
I saved your video because that first one look like a healthy vegan snack to keep me out of trouble once I become vegetarian or vegan. Butter is the only dairy product. I am weaning off of meat, I think. Time will tell after the Food Revolution Summit is over May 5th.
Which would be the portion size of the granola? I would like to try your recipe!
Thank you so much for this video!! I’d saved it to my “watch later” list and I really needed it today!!! This was delicious made two meals for me but really made my stomach feel better! You saved the day!!! I’m so grateful that you shared your recipe. The spices act as medicine, as well as flavour. Relief!
Are you dairy free? I did not see that in your about section, but it looks like you are on the video.
Hi Becky!:) I’ve just found your channel and wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos! I love the editing style and how to-the-point and relevant all the content is. (Also the way the food is set out in the shots almost looks like a recipe book so yum!). Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the videos and keep it up!
How do you decide wha tyou eat? I was taking about this in one of my posts and Im so keen to know what people are doing!!
Looks so good, I can’t have tomatos:( I wonder what I could replace that with
These recipes look great Becky! I love your blue serving plates, where can I get them from? x
Please slow down video to normal speed! I want this but can’t deal with stress.
Thanks Becky! Very inspirational content. It’s so easy to feel like there’s nothing to eat when you have IBS and follow a low fodmap diet! Hopefully I will get a few ideas to vary my bland diet!:):):)
Love this vid! So glad i found you makes me feel like less of an ibs alien
Looks delicious, I will certainly try it. Thanks for sharing x
Mayonnaise has no dairy in it and requires no sugar.
It only contains Oil (any liquid oil that you like taste of), Egg yolks, White wine vinegar and Salt, sometimes a splash of water, and mustard.
Carrie, I’m trying to walk the line with being careful about fodmaps and not falling back into my eating disorder. What are your thoughts on weighing food for every? I feel like I may be starting to get obsessive.
Loved this recipe. I added fresh turmeric and some silverbeet.
I thought sweet potato was high fodmap? I am not allowed to eat it..
Hi Becky I just found out that I do for sure have ibs and that I need to change my diet. I was wondering what bread do you eat? That’s my hardest thing to find in the USA and what flavor tea or drinks do you drink?
Thank you for sharing this! I just got back from a cruise and my stomach hurts so bad from all the bread. It was one of the few things I could eat. Definitely going to try this soup!
Thanks Becky for the video. Loving the breakfast recipe. I’m unfortunately another follower of the FODMAP way of life. Videos like this really show that every meal doesn’t need to be bland hope your make more in the future
I was diagnosed with methane dominant SIBO after all. It can be hard to get rid of, I hear.
Hi Becky just found your channel….loooooove it!! some great breakfast options which i always find hardest!! where do you buy your garlic and onion frew stockcubes?
Looks so delicious! I’m quite new to this FODMAP journey and got so happy that I found your channels today. It’s such a struggle to choose what to eat everyday and I’m afraid to get malnutritions.
Thanks for this. Im starting low FODMAP today, haven’t prepared so I feel really hungry right now haha doing lots of research tonight!
im 14 so its very rare for me to have IBS, but I do sadly. Im on the FODMAP diet and I can’t wait to try these out!
If I make the granola recipe can I eat it as cereal instead like with almond milk?
Thank you so much for adding in a link for low fodmap and vegan stock cubes. I know that they are going to be such a life saver!
This looks sooo delicious <3 Also: I have to find someone who is going to travel to the UK to bring me those stock cubes!
This was great and very helpful, Becky! Thank you! Would love to see more if these!!
I’m going to definitely get mum to make this soon! I love butter beans (especially as I can’t tolerate chickpeas at all ) and this is right up my street
If you boil miso paste you destroy all the beneficial enzymes. You add the paste after cooking, once the soup has cooled down for a few minutes. The best way to mix it in is with a little sieve.
I made this tonight it was amazing, so tasty and delicious! Perfect for after an IBS flare up
Looks delicious. I’m trying to eat vegan and my husband has severe IBS so this seems like the perfect dinner we could both enjoy!
Made this tonight and it was delicious. I’d never had parsnips or fennel before and yumm-o!
Where did you purchase the glass tray you placed the granola on? Have a link?
This one’s for the people that don’t “do” tofu. Have you ever tried your tofu grated? I promise it’s a game changer!
That granola is to die for!!! I haven’t made a bad meal following her recipes!! She’s amazing!
Can’t the granola get mold due to the sugar in the maple syrup? Maybe store in the fridge to be safe?
I Didn’t know that low sugar mayo existed! May I say.. Im merry for mayo??
Nice recipes. Is maple syrup is allowed in low Fodmap diet? I’m pretty sure it’s not on SIBO.
Definitely going to try this as soon as I get a chance to go to the grocery! Looks delicious and comforting.
Fruit?!
Maple syrup?!
These have ‘sugars’ in them and will bloat and cramp some people! Also nuts should be soaked before hand, some nuts are GI.
I’m currently in the elimination faze of low fodmap and all the sites have different information so I’m ridiculously overwhelmed. Doesn’t help that I’m vegetarian and I live with my boyfriend who is vegan. Not a clue what to cook . Anybody able to recommend some reliable and up to date sites with what we can and can’t have? Some say Greek yoghurt for example and some say not. The same goes for certain legumes.
great recipes just started low fodmap 6 wks ago still makng mistakes recomended by my dietician
Hey Carrie, perhaps you have mentioned this in another video but after how many weeks did your symptoms start to subside? I’m in week three of the elimination diet this week and I have noticed minor differences but I feel like I’m maybe doing something wrong as there has been no ‘major’ change.
Oooh, I want to eat this now, not because my stomach hurts but just because it looks so tasty!
This is amazing and I’ll definitely be using it when I have my next flare up! I often don’t know what to make so this is amazing!
im only new to the whole FODMAPS thing ive recently been diagnoised with IBS so im just learning on some simple ideas to make different meals. your channel is awesome. Hello from sydney australia!
Hi I just starting on the Fodmap diet and your breakfast looked amazing I was just wondering about measures of the ingrediants and how long to cook it in the oven for
I wanna make a group with people suffering from ibs, please help me to make a group it is gonna help all sufferers
I want to cry. Even with cookbooks being low fodmap has been such a challenge (especially as a vegan) we need more videos like this!!!
It looks lovely, but different things appear on the list of ‘banned’ foodstuffs in different versions of FODMAP diets. My sister avoids lentils and soybean products so lovely as this recipe is she wouldn’t try it.
Margarine is always a terrible idea. But the granola looks delish!
Kudos for the Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered Millawdon Livestrong Way Trick (do a google search)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for eliminating IBS without the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my cousin after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.
Such a great video.. I can’t wait to try this recipie. Thanks for sharing!!
I’m confused. Monash University’s FODMAP app says butternut squash and fennel are both high FODMAP. Was this recipe developed BEFORE these were discovered to be high FODMAPs?
Thank you so much for all your information.
What low fodmap noddles are you using and are they gluten free?
Thank you
so stoked I came across your channel! would you ever consider making a vegan friendly what I eat in a day video:) definitely will be trying out the granola at home!
