Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper; set aside. Combine gluten free oats, coconut, salt, maple syrup, and canola oil in a large bowl. Toss ingredients well and pour out onto a prepared baking sheet. Bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown (15 to 20 minutes).Easy homemade chunky healthy granola made with a delicious mix of oats, coconut oil, flaxseed meal, sesame seeds, pecans, cashews, sliced almonds, vanilla, cinnamon, dates and golden raisins.
This vegan and gluten free granola recipe is naturally sweetened with pure maple syrup.Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a medium or large baking sheet with parchment paper or greased foil.
Set aside for later. Add all ingredients except coconut oil and maple syrup to a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.

I tried the cocolate one and it was a disaster… I made all my family tried a bit of it and it was so awful that we just pushed everyting to the trashbin…. breaks my heart to waste so much product but trust me when i say it was awful, really disappointed:(

looks great, my son cant eat oats and I was wondering whether quinoa can be eaten raw, like oats, and used in this recipe?
You eat way too much sugar and junk, you’re obviously tired af and malnourished. Veganism is unnatural and unhealthy. You cant get all the nutrients you need from plants (b12, vitamin a, d, taurine etc). I know you want to feel good and you think this is healthy but it’s not. Eat beef liver (most nutritious food on the planet), sardines, eggs, chicken and you will feel alive. Praying for you.
Thanks for sharing but suggest you halve the ingredients for mum’s granola recipe. 7 cups of oats is a LOT! Really a lot. Nearly 2kg of oats. Also, it’s expensive if you make it in these large quantities as you suggest. 3.5 cups of oats is plenty for 2 people for at least two to three weeks. Also, worth remembering that in most other places in the world, we call it muesli and not granola.

Looks great tho definitely best to sub the dairy with a non-dairy alternative yogurt cashew, almond, you name it. Healthier, and better for the cows…..(see “dairy is scary’ YT video….)

Okay, so I’m totally obsessed over this granola. I have made this chocolate version twice, I discovered that you have a plain one, so I’ve made that one, and your recipe even inspired me to create a peanut butter version(I LOVE PB!) I used 1/4 c pb and 1/4 g flax meal, and omitted the cacao powder and steel cut oats…everything else I kept the same. It tasted just like eating pb cookie granola…haha. Thanks for the inspiration=))).

I want to make this but i dont have brown rice cereal or steel cut oats, so instead i want to use more rolled oats instead of the steel cut oats and puffed quinoa for the brown rice cereal, ahh hope it works

So ive bought a jar, the granola is in the oven right now, im scared because it wasnt as easy as the video shows. It wouldnt stick together so i added more maple syrup, i had to mix for a long time, it still wasnt rlly sticky but i still put it into the oven, i pressed the mixture well. I hate how i always have problems following even the simplest recipes, hope it turns out well. Unfortunately it was a fail, tastes horrible but ig thats just my fault
