You talk about red meat but how is pork in the mix of meats?
Type A blood usually prefers chicken and fish, and eats less red meat.
I’m type B, and I prefer steak over chicken. Sometimes I even feel like I need red meat to feel balanced after a meal.
They also say that red meat can make type A blood gain weight, but other blood types can eat red meat and lose weight.
I read this in a book by Dr Peter D Adamo “eat right for your blood type”

Aldi sells 100% grass fed beef for under $5/pound
Grass fed and finished beef has a much more robust and different flavor. In Texas, you cannot find a small steak. 0.5 Lbs./ week; cannot subscribe to that but all other Keto stuff I am good to go.

Estrogen does nothing for you. Even biological females are healthier with higher levels of testosterone. Estrogen plays it’s role just before birth and during puberty. At all other times, higher testosterone leads to greater health.

. l have almost cut out dairy, still have a bit of milk in coffee, but my cholesterol is going higher. l have changed diet to eating real foods. so l`m eating more meat. l will try to cut it down to see if cholesterol goes down. l have hashimoto`s disease and l`m trying to heal body by nutrition.

I wouldn’t necessarily term E2, estradiol as the “active” form of estrogen because all three forms can be active. Estradiol however is the predominant form of estrogen during a woman’s menstrual years whereas estriol is predominant during pregnancy and estrone post-menopause.
Its cheaper to eat quality food in the amounts you need versus average/poor foods in the amounts you want or are told you need.

Thomas: the main picture at the beginning shows you are using growth hormone injections on your abdomen. Those flea bites on your abs are clearly GH injections. I really don’t think you should give health advice to anyone.

i understand that Thomas may not want to share what he eats for fear that we will all just copy him without searching for what works for us…but sometimes it’s very helpful to just get a sense of quantity for a stated purpose. I’m doing quite well off of the knowledge i’ve gotten from this channel so far…but i feel like i’ve hit a wall because i need to get more “micro” about my diet and am having a hard time finding the right balance with my “macros.” I search for recipes endlessly because i don’t want to go crazy from same-food-fatigue…but that just complicates my management of intake even more. Thomas…it would be great if you gave us just ONE example of a maintenance keto eating day.

i had high cholesterol an went vegan felt so hungry lowered cholesterol 30 points now its normal but i gained weight to i am going back to meat in smaller portions an only keto berries an keto veggies an grass fed organic meat keto is awesome before going vegan i was doing keto lost 47 pounds gained back some but ready to try again better than before it was all the junk i ate before i ever went keto that raised my cholesterol my health has improved an i have less chest pains now so for me normal levels of cholesterol is important too. and not eating from the bakery ever again where i worked 12 years ive learn so much about food on the internet if you listen enough it finally starts sinking in this low carb thing is the answer to feeling better even if you have a lot of pain these changes can help reduce it.thanks Thomas for all that science talk it helps me understand. what the hec iam trying to achive good health.
Can you explain to me why compressed steak(cooked->dryed->powdered) if exited at all, doesn’t help the tissue repair?

So going Carnivorous only makes sense if we have access to free ranging beef.. Also I understand HCA research has been done on rats which don’ t have our ability to handle HCA. Kind of like testing for HCA cancerigenous effect on a rabbit.. they never evolved to eat grilled meat like we have..

This is where I find your videos become contradicting: you often say that you consume mostly lean (white) meat and fish, but on keto you need mostly fat. Lean chicken is roughly 40% protein and less than 4% fat, kind of the opposite of what you need on keto. Even if you fry the chicken in butter and top it with heavy cream you won’t be able to reverse that 10 to 1 ratio of protein to fat.
how do the rates of colon cancer compare between people who eat the meat you are suggesting and vegetarians?
throwing that out there that 1lb of red meat a week should be ok implies anymore than that could be problematic…..there’s no research on that….I have probably eaten 4lbs of red meat a week or more all my life……no cancer…no heart disease…..only issues are from eating junk carbs….I’m convinced that you can’t have your cake (junk carbs) and eat it (red meat) too!!

Personally, I love lamb. It seems that my body prefers this over beef, although I will have different cuts of steaks and beef burgers as treats. Lamb is known to digest easier and even if you were to buy non-organic they pretty much consume only grass. If you prefer leaner cuts of red meat, venision is perfect and an animal that was popular before domestication. There has been a lot of demonisation of red meat. However, no specific data related to different animals and/or processed meat vs factory farmed meat vs local ‘genuinely’ grass fed meat vs wild meat.
I stopped eating red meat a couple of years ago when I realized it was making me miserable. I’m not vegetarian, I was years ago for a while but realized it wasn’t good for me. Being older I don’t need as much iron as I once did.
