I said give or take and i said average. My point is if you have ever dieted (to lose weight), meaning specifically to have a deficit every day to lose at “least” 1 lbs/week = 3500 calories, you would never incorporate a meal that eats up 30% (or higher) of your daily calories. Its much better/efficient to spread it around your days so you wont quit!

I love making healthy burgers, be it lean beef or turkey, and both are awesome! For each recipe, all I do is mix in an egg white, Worcestershire sauce, and whatever seasonings I feel like using, and cook. Pop some fries in the air fryer, and viola!

a lot of it boils down to caloric intake. If you are having a regular eating habit (eating a couple times a week out, having relatively nutritious food at home) then eating burgers while keeping your calories at the recommended daily amount will cause no harm.

there is too many carbohydrates there. no need for two bun halfs. one enough. because there is already fries. people should eat open face sandwiches. all those hamburgers and sandwiches have too much bread. enough one half. its out of balance with both fries and two halfs of hamburger bread. substitute one half of hamburger bread with just cucumber or tomato or fruits. then its a balanced meal

Its really great that you guys were able to remove 350 to 400 calories from the original approx 1100 calories, but but the average basil metabolic rate a male has is 1500 (more or less) and for women its even less, so having a burger like that of about 600 calories would kill your day, because you wont be able to eat as many times.
Why don’t you make these burgers smaller so they can be part of you 3-4 meals a day?

dropping your calories as low as 1500 for the average 180lb man would mean that they would be severely lacking in the vitamins and nutrients they need from things like fruit and veg that they wouldnt be able to obtain because there calories per day dont allow it..
my advice would be to raise cardio enough so that you can get more fruit and veg and as said before those BMR’s are very very inaccurate as all people are different and you cannot get an average figure

I absoultely LOVE your videos, but while I love that you can speak this fast, and you clearly love yourself for speaking this fast, I geniunely have a headache so I put you on.80x speed and you almost talk normally. Now I typically put videos on 1.5x speed because they are boring and share next to zero information, but you can’t possibly expect anyone to follow a biology lecture at 1.5x speed just because you sound cool and have the capacity to speak this fastly. Fun fact, the reason we love using chalk and black board still in pure maths lectures is because it’s still the best way to digest information. The speed it takes you write something down is almost around the speed it takes the brain to process that new information, so slinding like a maniac through slides and speaking as if at gunpoint, is kind of against the purpose of education here, isn’t it?!

Imagine taking cooking class…u did a fantastic at procuring the vegetables all the ingredients, u got the recipe by hearted in your mind..u got utensils….but u just rushed through everything….just so unbelievably fast that people only saw 20%of the action rest was in 4x speed….you may end up with a good dish but you could have done a lot better in teaching others how to cook.

I love it when I get curious on something, search it up and find CrashCourse videos on it. First found CrashCourse trying to get a better understanding of Economics and it helped me significantly in my college course. Keeping in shape and being healthy is so underrated nowadays that it needs to be taught in every school system.
It’s not boring, it’s a classic burger! Turkey and feta… probably very good but not “one of the most classic of American dishes”. In my opinion, Laura should’ve won.

im curious of calories and what our bodies pick up of it. is there some difference in our digestive systems that doesnt absorb all of the available glucose? so example two people eat a 300 cal burger, could one of us have a less effecient system that let it out in our feces so that i would be consuming 200 cal but my friend with a better digestive system gets the whole 300?
im particulary thinking of corn how it has a tendency to skip through our digestive system.. food doesnt always seem 100% digested… ie. i didnt absorb all of the calories that i ate.
now could this affect how people are more skinny while eating more? is there some scientific papers on this topic?

I liked the way chef laura cut her potatoes and the sauce she made. You mix ketchup and mayo together and you get a midwest specialty fry sauce. it is really good on fries. Jets however was better.

Not only was Laura’s burger super unappetizing and boing, her fries were burnt! I knew that after Chef Jet seasoned his turkey burger, he would definitely win.
Youย can actually mix the 93/7 ground beef with the lean turkey at 50/50 of each and you will save a bit of money,calories,cholesterol,while having a burger that still tastes quite a bit like a regular beef burger.
I cant believe Laura made such a boring burger:( She has so many interesting delicious low fat burger recipes on her channel that would have beat Chef Jets burger.. Darn it.
