Just on time for Valentines Day. I love these Coconut Macaroons and the fact that they are gluten free makes even more better. Loved the cupid in the beginning great job on another wining recipe.
When I need something crunchy I do some potatoes chip in the oven and I served it with my protein. Spray olive oil and and a pinch of Himalaya salt. I peel them so thin and put in the oven for 15 min more or less. I hope it helps you

I’m genuinely curious…. where did you hear only 3% of vitamin A is absorbed? As someone who studied nutrition in college, I have never heard that. I can’t find any articles that confirm that either. Unless if you’re talking about beta-carotene? Which is the precursor to vitamin A. Or I could see supplements not absorbing as well.
Yes beef liver is a very high source of vitamin A, but chicken liver is also high and would still be part of your cleanse. Another good way to absorb vitamin A would be making sure you’re adding fats (olive oil, avocado, etc) with foods that are high in vitamin A because it is a fat soluble vitamin (meaning, needs fat to be absorbed).
I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, just want to educate. Please please avoid talking about nutrition without backing up your facts with science. You have about 100K people watching your videos every week and it’s really dangerous to say information that may be misleading.

I have IBS and also no gall bladderso as you can imagine… it’s hell. It’s gotten so bad that I don’t want to travel, I get anxiety when I leave my house because I’ve had so many experiences where it hits out of nowhere and a lot of the timesI barely made it to a bathroom.
I’ve tried gluten free, dairy free, low carb, low fat, high fat, low protein, keto, and vegan! I can’t seem to find anything that truly helps.
Keto is okay because I avoid sugar and carbs so that at least helps with bloating and abdominal crampsbut my stomach still cuts up just the same. It’s rough out here for those of us with digestive issues

hey Melissa, I’ve got IBS and enjoyed the video today. going off the end cook, I make my version of chicken adobo regularly in the crockpot and it lasts me 3ish days. 2-3lbs chicken(I usually grab a thing of thighs and breasts) seared in garlic infused oil, plenty of pepper. put in crockpot with 1 cup white vinegar, 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce, tumeric, cinnamon. cook 4 hours on low. add some chopped yukon gold potatoes if you want depending no macros (i need carbs for soccer) but either way cook another 2 hours. serve with or without rice or greens of your choosing. working for me, wish you luck, you seem to be thriving. best we can anyway, cheers

My grandpa loves gardening so he always plants a ton of veggies and fruit. This year there‘s cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, rhubarb, many different herbs, salad, potatoes, kohlrabi, broccoli, peas, fennel, white and red currants, strawberries, apples and pears. Honestly there‘s nothing better than just stepping outside and just get whatever you want to eat. Also all those things taste so much better than if you buy them from the store.

I just got back from my 3rd hospital visit in 6 months due to excessive bloating and stomach cramps. The doctor recommended I start a low fodmap diet to figure out what was causing the pain and bloating. So glad this video popped up when I had a google, makes me feel like it is an achievable thing and that I don’t have to live in pain and fear of what I ingest!!

Love how balanced everything was in macros and how you found what makes you feel your best! Also yes to individual macros and nutrition plans for each individual! No one diet fits all and not everyone’s macros are the same. There are so many helpful tips here! Don’t drink your calories! I use to and not even realize it.

I love that you mentioned labdoor!! i have the same protein powder, because it was the best in terms of quality as well as calorie/protein ratio.
You should look into paleo and whole30. You have a long way to go. All this boxed stuff you use is not really healthy. Is cheese lactose free? It might be, when it’s highly processed. You should eliminate chia, all grains. I really rocommend paleo diet and doing a whole30. It cured my ibs.

hey lovely recently found your channel love you already just a tip because of the digging for nuts bit if you get like a piece of paper or something put that in the middle of the jar when filling (if you already have it half full, put on its side to do this) put the other nuts on the other side and pull the paper out saves space without digging and they will mix together as you use them =)

Maybe just stop trying to ‘cleanse’ your Liver when (qualified) medical experts will tell you that the Liver can’t be, and doesn’t need to be, ‘cleansed’! This propaganda that you’re spreading is realy unhelpful and could in fact be harmful to people watching your channel. I get that you’re someone who likes to make a deal about these things like now you think you’re deficient in Vit A but just eat good healthy food, like you do, and leave out all the nutirition nonsense you’re spouting!
Great videos! Curious what liver cleanse/doc you are working with and their thoughts on aflatoxins. Amen Clinics and some other US neuroscientists advise to avoid peanuts/peanut butter altogether due to this neurotoxin. They recommend other nut butters such almond butter (clean version). I like both but I’m always stumped at the conflicting advice.
don’t talk about diets for IBS! you are basically providing MNT. this is a clinical condition and should only be addressed by a professional (like a registered dietitian)

This recipe is the crazy…. when you think you cant have anymore coconuts you added coconut cream wow with the combination of the Dark Chocolate which i have never had before because the ones I buy are only coconut without dipped dark chocolate. If you’re having digestive issues you may want to cut back drastically on eating uncooked veggies. Also, it helps to grind up seeds like flax or chia and cut back on eating skins on veggies and fruit. I developed diverticulitis at young age and I’m guessing it was based off my heredity. Changing my diet has helped IMMENSELY. I’m in love with my instant pot lol. Also, I found out I CANNOT eat rice cuz it binds me up soooo bad and throws my digestion off for weeks. Keeping a food diary and tracking symptoms helped me so much.

i feel like you’re exhausting yourself and going so harsh on yourself. you do over act to reach a point where all you have is water?? it’s just not normal to have all that “free” things. are you thinking of enjoying your life at any point?? do you ever dreamed about having a piece of cheesecake or something?! it’s good to live healthy but not good to prevent yourself from all of these essentials. I don’t mean to be mean but this is so much really you’re exhausting yourself.
As a dietitian I just want to point out that a “liver cleanse” is not necessary because your liver is the organ in your body that is responsible for “cleansing” and “detoxing” your body naturally. Our bodies know what to do. Don’t overthink it
Please give us an update on the Beef Liver supplements! I deal with a lot of hormonal acne as well and I would really love to hear how they work for you. I actually eat somewhat similar to you. I’m allergic to dairy and very sensitive to gluten so both are completely excluded from my diet. I’m also soy free because I suspect I’m sensitive to that as well. Honestly, my allergies and sensitivities are all over the place, but I’m going to an allergist soon to finally learn what’s really going on with my body. So glad to hear your cleanse is still going well and thank you for making videos like these because they are so helpful when I’m in a cooking rut and need inspiration! No no noooooo. Lots of things on this that have none described ingredients. I’ve had IBS for over 30 years. Always looking for new ideas. Everyone is different. But one thing I have learned is that you need to know what EVERYTHING is that goes into your body. Lemon is also an acid so watch your teeth.

I love almonds and apples, I also like apples and peanut butter. Now a cheating type of peanut butter is chocolate, coconut peanut butter. So it does have some sugar in it but man it is good and it is sold at Sprouts here in Tucson AZ.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve been dealing with digestive issues for years, I feel bloated and in pain after eating, even when I eat a normal portion size. It can be so stressful especially when traveling and you are out of your routine. This is giving me a lot of inspiration and ideas. I’ve been researching fodmap since you posted this, so thank you for posting informational links as well.
do you get approached in the gym by men at all? like trying to comment on what youre doing or anything like that?
I don’t worry about calories only bc I’m struggling as is to gain weight…. I would like to see a high calorie diet for IBS…. I need meat on my bones lmao

Maybe you can put a paper divider in your pumpkin seed and almond jar so that half of the jar is seeds on one side and almonds on the other, like those three flavored popcorn cans.
I am eating a nut free (accept for cashews), dairy free, wheat and gluten free, and shelfish free diet. One thing that helps me is rather than viewing it as what I can’t eat, I think of what I can eat. Especially when you get bored of eating the same few foods.

I was surprised to see that you can digest with any issues the whey protein. That’s a big upset stomach trigger to many. It’s been a couple months since I started eating low FODMAP foods. The testing phase seems to always be happening as I add new foods. Best of luck on your journey.

Why don’t you stick a piece of stiff construction paper, or something to that affect, height wise down the center of the jars you want to split? Then poor one seed/nut type on either side. It would keep them from getting quite so mixed plus you can still use the same jar:)

Celery and peanut butter is good as well. Apple is my favorite but I’m diabetic and I have to be mindful even though apples aren’t a high sugar fruit. But I mix it up some celery half a honeycrisp apple and natural pb. Yum
Another amazing recipe! Going to try this too, but think I might serve it with almond cream cheese drizzle (kite hill makes a great one) (whisk the almond cream cheese with a bit of ghee and vanilla and maybe a bit of almond milk to thin it out a bit), but will have to try the white chocolate chip version too!
