Loved the recipe despite the date yogurt. Sos but I hate dates
I love Ilumi but this Za’atar dish looked disgusting, a very dark mess on the plate and tasted even worse. Drop it from the range.
YES YOU ARE!!!!
while you are cooking the chicken in the oven; are you broiling or baking?
TY sweet Dimitroula mou for this great roasted chicken za’atar! I’ll try to make this soon
Dimitra, if i use only boneless skinless chicken breasts, will it be as delicious? And should i modify cooking time?
You are such an amazing chef I’m inspired many recipes ofyou and I on my way to do this one today, I just wondering do you have any Arab origin
I practically get insulted when people don’t like olives. It’s not because I’m part Greek, but because they’re banging! A completely great additive to (almost) any dish.
Heck yea, you have every right to charge for your cooking recipes. I love the prices and it’s totally possible to maintain such low prices. A dang dollar per one million customers. Very GOOD. And I wouldn’t blame you if you went to five dollars per book or more. I sure grabbed the vegetarian one right away. I just want to wait to get another for monetary reasons. Horrible I know. GOD BLESS
Hi madam
I m indian all u r recipe like
After cooking i m cook
I make my own Za’atar. I will be making this! Love the addition of prunes:-)
What a lovely recipe. We’re thinking it might be a good one to make for our mum’s this Mother’s Day!
I LOVE za’atar, and cooking with olives and dried fruit. This chicken is a must-make!
By the way, your recipe for roasted Brussels sprouts was a huge hit on Thanksgiving. My friends had never had them before and loved them! They also devoured your puffed pastry Spanikopita braid. You made me look good! Thank you!!
I visited waitrose newcastle with the intention of purchasing all the ingredients for this recipe and there was no cavalo nero to be found and the freekeh was out of stock:(
Omg these look amazing!!! Love chicken thighs are my staple!
Wow pounded spices that are already powdered Ok, n mixed it with a spoon..
Nice desh I think zatar already salted may be you need to reduce salt just a thought
A friend sent me a pound of za’atar…and, while I love that spice blend, a pound is a bit Much. Then I see this video and am “okay, here we go” since I usually have some bone-in chicken parts in the freezer…Long story short, thank you so much for this video!!
I think with a little sprinkle of pomegranate we will be in heaven
Epic recipe! I love freekeh for its huge nutritional content and the medicinal spices in zataar are phenomenal. Great for digestion and so flavoursome! awesome recipe mate, I will definitely be remaking!
My Family loved the Turkey recipe. It came out very moist and rich.
The Za’atar you recommend does not contain oregano or thyme.
Can I let this marinate overnight? Or will citrus juices make the chicken mushy?
You are quite talented in the kitchen and have an enjoyable show. The recipe looks delicious. Only one thing… Zahtar means “thyme” in Arabic. True zahtar is dried thyme leaves, crushed sumac, and toasted sesame seeds. Awesome job. Thank you. If you would like a few mor recipes, feel free to ask.
She didn’t WASH that chicken. GROSSSSS Who does that? Nasty
