U can also use a potato peeler and cut zucchini into strips to make it like nudles. It’s more raw, gluten free, and fiber. I also put the inner part into the sause, but I leaned that from raw Christina and the strips from Cara (Marcus and cars raw Vegan) anyways…I got question…. Does the cauliflower do anything for the taste of the sause? And also can u please make a raw vegan cheese cake shake?? I have tried! I mix cahshews,lemon juice,califlower, sweatner (maple syrup, suger ect) into vitamix with ice…but it’s a bit off. Some people say frozen bannas BUT it does not then taste like cheesecake what so ever.

That was DELICIOUS! I had to be very generous with the salt just like you said. I also added a pinch of oregano and everyone loved it. My aunt and my mom who are not vegan Loved the flavor. Thank you. Since I have been fasting and in prayer (here in Puerto Rico the Holly week is very important for us and as a sacrifice we don’t eat meat today which is Good Friday) with fruits this vegies Holly week. Today I will eat this again with some asparrragus, tomatoes and two “tostones” (fried green plantain) on the side. What can I say as a puertorrican need to have my plantain. Ok, here is an update to my question about the sunflower seeds, they work perfectly. I did soak them for a half hour before adding them into the sauce, but it all turned out incredible! I also added some dehydrated cherry tomatoes from my garden last year and it made the sauce even better. I also added mushrooms. To top it I soaked some soy curls in better than bouillon broth for 15 minutes and then drained them and pan fried them to brown them and added a little cumin and white pepper. It was a perfect chicken replacement.

DO NOT EAT CAULIFLOWER! it has no carbon! thats why it is white. It will rob you of your minerals. So does soy. If you eat either one of these substances, you will have your vitamins and minerals stolen from you. But if you’re all for having mineral deficiencies, then go crazy on it. But if you care about your health, do not eat either of these under any circumstance!

I made this recipe once or twice before with delicious results. But I don’t digest onions very well, so tonight I tried it using the Indian spice, Asafoetida. This spice tastes like a combination of garlic and onion. It worked really well in this recipe. Just thought you might want to know in case other people have issues with onions.

Hi Anja, I came across some of your older recipes and didn’t realise you were still making videos. I just wanted to say, I think you’re a lovely lady and you have a great attitude which makes you enjoyable to watch. While this type of cooking is not for me, I did recommend you to a young vegan girl today, who was struggling to cook even the simplest of vegan dishes (they looked absolutely awful and her poor boyfriend’s face confirmed my suspicion.. poor bloke pretended to like them) Anyway, I good to see you are doing well, as I hope your son is. When taste testing a recipe during preparation don’t use the same spoon twice! One time I was feeding my 18-month-old son and he after one bite I tried to give him a second spoonful which he refused.
I closed the baby food container and put it in the refrigerator for another meal later. When I re-opened the container the food had gone to liquid. His saliva on the spoon had “digested” the food in the jar!
The lesson I learned from this is to use a separate clean spoon with every tasting. If not you will introduce your digestive enzymes from your saliva into the mixture. That will contaminate it before serving and/or cause it to digest while in storage.

It looks delish! Just so you know, the sound isn’t very clear at times.
Looks yummy will have to give it ago, usually do the sauce with TVP, Yeast Extract, Sun Dried Tomato Puree, and Crespo Greek Style Black Olives. One bag of TVP costing about £2 when hydrated is equivalent to about 10 packets of beef mince costing around £20. With TVP there is no need for freezing, and it doesn’t go off or smell. I have never tried Quinoa yet, it sounds even better than TVP, thanks for the tip.
What a genius combination of ingredients you put together. You’ve done it again, another must try. The only addition or change I’ll be making is to add green peas because when i made the traditional alfredo recipe years ago, i always put green peas into my sauce (it’s a thing, I know)
Sorry but I really have to say it: I’m Italian and when you put the pasta in the water it wasn’t boiling and that’s terribly wrong. You have FIRST to put the salt THEN wait for the water to boil and FINALLY put the pasta

This recipe is amazing (Y). Definitely gonna be my staple way of doing pasta from now on. I did use organic tomato paste instead of sundried tomatoes, but still gave it that nice concentrated flavour.

Made this today, but the flavor is not near to an alfredo sauce, I had to add one more tablespoon of nutritional yeast and 3 more garlic, it still had the almond milk after taste, added garlic powder and onion powder and a little bit of salt. Overall is an excellent alternative sauce for pasta very creamy and good, next time I will use the pasta water instead of the almond milk.

That looks amazing! However, if you want a high-end, bistro-styled Alfredo sauce, I suppose you could use white wine instead of lemon juice, or you could make in into a mushroom Alfredo sauce, by adding mushrooms sautéed in white wine, and skip the lemon juice. What do you think? 😉
It might help to build in closed-captioned recipe measurements. I tried to write it all down and had to double back a few times to get the amounts to coincide with the specific ingredients. Sounds like a fine recipe, I plan to try it. I love pasta. An oil-free sauce makes it all good.

Made this yesterday! It’s an amazing recipe! Honestly could not tell the difference from white sauce with actual cheese in it.
Anybody who can cook Love’s gas. I have an electric stove and only two of the four burners work and it bakes unevenly and if I move out of here I’m going to kick a great big dent in the oven door! It’s from the 80s and they keep telling me we’re not going to get you a new stove I said I don’t want a new stove just make the shity one I have work! Rant over. Sorry.

I love the idea of this but usually when cooking gluten free pasta it needs to be rinsed off when finished to get rid of the starch, how did you work with this?
Just found your channel a couple days ago. I love learning all the new recipes. I have been making a new recipe or 2 every day. For my daughters birthday, I made 4 different raw desserts for her & my other kids &. extended family to try out. The tirimisu, lime cheesecake, no bake chocolate fudge ( my favorite) & the Peanut butter & jam cookies. They are all really good. We are used to eating very healthy but I like the no baking factor. Healthier & so much faster to prepare. I’ve also made the Mac & cheese, & the muffin tops( really good) You can imagine the huge mound of dishes on my counter lately. All my kids & husband like your food as well. Thank you so much! P.S. I love your accent & your name.

I love your videos!!! I made this tonight and you are going to save us a ton of money. This pasta pot recipe tastes like the new Gardien Skillet pasta meal. We loved it! I used meatballs instead and didn’t wait until the end to put it in. I added them in when I added the sauce.

Sounds yummy, but good idea to eliminate the Olive Oil if you are concerned about heart health. No oil (not even Olive Oil) is heart healthy, per Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, well known Heart Surgeon. Looking forward to trying this recipe, thank you for sharing.
Try adding mixed vegetables to your sauce. I love getting extra veggies in where I can. More one pot dinners.

My sister has been affected as well as my girlfriend who actually lost her home. We are all so grateful that was all that was lost.

Great that it’s soy free too. Btw you eat the hemp hearts for the balanced Omega fat.. as you say.. you get protein from everything you eat, but it’s the right kind of fats that you need to watch to get enough of.

Tomatoes tomato sauce pasta sauce immediately volcano on you because they are as sweet as a fruit pie filling. I need to buy a gas burner because my electric stove sucks! I’m going to make this this week probably Friday with my homemade marinara sauce and you are seasonings and add-ins. I have a new caregiver 3 days a week so I can now make batches of food and keep some and freeze some! I even bought that pasta from Amazon for a lot of money:-) I’m so happy!!

Put the ingredients in the description for fucks sake. Secondly, I’m interested in knowing what brand of yeast you used because they are not all gluten free. Not sure if you have Celiac’s disease or intolerance.
