I bet Gemma would also tell you to not use metal instruments in a not-stick pan!! They can ruin your pan, scratching off the non-stick layer. The non-stick coating of the pan could even end up in your dish which isn’t healthy… Please only use plastic in these kinds of pan!!!

What’s the point about making other things all healthy and then using eggs in your recipe?
So I have a question…I tried this recipe and had a feeling it wasn’t going to work. I was right. However I used the almond meal from my almond milk (thanks for the yummy easy recipe by the way). I took my almond meal, toasted/dried it in the oven at 170 degrees then took it to a food processor and saved it. How do I make these using that meal? The only thing I have done with the left over meal is make almond crusted talapia-I can only eat so much of that. In my pancakes I had to use 5 egg whites and it still never settled, basically I could take the “batter” and form them like a hamburger. Thanks!

Um, I thought you used the almond flour from the almond milk? Now your saying you bought it.
Never heard of egg allergies but I have heard of almond allergies..
I made my own chocolate sauce for these by melting 2 tablespoons of butter and adding 1-2tsp unsweetened cocoa powder and 1-2tsp swerve confectioner’s sugar (I didn’t measure those). You can also put swerve confectioner’s sugar on top, just like powdered sugar. I’m on the keto diet so I don’t know how well it works with other diets like paleo.
Made these and they were the closest to regular pancakes (which I’ve missed a lot since going keto) that I’ve found so far. Thanks for the recipe:)

Real almond flour is not just grounded almonds. Grounding regular almonds will give you almond butter. The nuts have to be dehydrated in order to turn into flour.

Run blanched almonds through a food processor until they’re a course flour consistency. Don’t overdo it though, or you might start making almond butter.
Could tangerine juice be used in place of orange juice? Tangerine trees are everywhere where I live, and therefore, more economical. Plus, it will be fresh sqeezed, not from concentrate.

I made almond milk according to your other video and then used the pulp as almond flour for pancakes. As for the egg yolk, I made Caesar salad dressing and also some mayonnaise. Nothing is waisted:D

A cheaper option to almond flour is homemade oat flour, which is just blended up oat (i use porridge) That’s what I use for these style pancakes

Thank you for the delicious almond pancake recipe, I just had a quick question for you. I made mine with homemade almond flour (your recipe from the leftover almond meal video), but my pancakes are coming out VERY thick. I have added very little water to the mixture, but now they’re not turning out. In using homemade almond flour does it effect the consistency/ratio of the recipe?
I just made these literally, and I added cinnamon and a packet of Stevia and topped with a little bit of butter and a little cinnamon on top and then they were good. I’ll make them again.
A lot of people eating a ‘clean’ diet mostly use egg whites in their recipes. If you can’t get pre separated egg whites (they don’t sell them here in the UK), what do you do with all the egg yolks?

Made them just now. Love them. I added slivered almonds and a BIG dash of cinnamon cause a girl loves cinnamon. Super yummy. Topped them w sugar free syrup strawberries and blueberries. Yum!
I made this for my wife this AM because she wanted some paleo pancakes and she loved them the satiety level is on 100%. I guess the almond flour and enriched white flour has very different consistencies.

I was wondering if you would be telling us which kind of almond flour is best to use. There are so many types blanched, unblanched, Etc. I guess that will be on the bigger Bolder baking website. Beautiful recipe just like you. I do same but little different. I add one cup ground amonds, one scoop protein, one teaspoon stevia, 1/4 spoon baking powder, 2 eggs and mix with almond milk and then onto pan. Do they taste good with Greek yogurt and Pancake Syrup? Gotta try the combination today! Cheers.

Sorry, this recipe didn’t work at all for me. It was a complete disaster. It stuck to the nonstick pan and wouldn’t get firm. I couldn’t even flip them over because they wouldn’t cook and were still in a soft batter state. I had to throw them out.

Those pancakes look much too thick. Might make two broader, thinner pancakes rather than 4 smaller ones that look like they would topple over and spill what’s stacked on top. That stack looks ridiculous.
