Thank you for the review! I actually have found that the Franz brand is pretty good. I prefer their bread to udis
Okay. Yes, I did watch the video, and yes, you are an idiot. No Nutritional Value? That alone tells me that you have no idea what you are talking about. The fact of the matter is many people cannot process the protein in wheat, barley, or rye, and therefore wheat, in its processed form, holds no nutritional value for these people. And, just so you know, I have owned a gluten free business for 9 years, so I know a few things about it.
A lot of people are missing the point of this video. He’s not saying gluten is ok of course it’s not. In fact I would advise everyone to avoid wheat as farmers saturate it with glyphosate during harvesting. The point is gluten free bread bought from stores is bad for you. I can attest to that as I suffer from psoriasis and even a couple of slices of gluten free bread causes massive inflammation in me even more so than ordinary bread. Within 15 minutes I am itching like mad so something in this bread is causing a toxic reaction in me.
I will try to make my own bread from now own not rely on this gluten free rubbish.
So glad I bought Ezekiel bread! Honestly really tasted so good toasted while making Bon Appetits It’s Alive with Brad toasted tomatoes. A must try
Thank u I needed this been doin keto for months now I’ve lost a 114 pds but really missed bras 2 make wit sandwiches now I found some yessir
This is a misleading video. Gluten is NOT extracted from wheat and then reprocessed.Gluten Free breads are made from DIFFERENT types of flours (usually a mix of several different flours/starches such as rice, chickpea, tapioca, corn starch etc) it is not anymore processed than a regular bread and can be made to with WHOLE grains such as quinoa flour, chickpea flour, sorghum flour etc).Store bought will be more processed than homemade. Those who cannot have gluten eat less bread type products usually.
Hey guys, The best success that I have ever had was with Marks magic method (just google it) Without a doubt the most helpful diet that I have ever tried.
Thank you. Good Advice! Our appetites have been so corrupted.
The “scam” is “gluten-free” doesn’t mean no gluten. It means less than 20 ppm, still enough to elicit an immune response.
Great recipe thanks..can you tell my what is substituting the psyllium husk please
Love these! It takes the stress out of learning to shop healthy,…but that $9 bread tho, lawd have mercy!
Right off the bat you started with misinformation. Cracked wheat is whole wheat. Yes, sprouting does make nutrients more available. However, you have to know when to stop the sprouting process before grinding it to make flour. If sprouted longer than the embryo being the length of the grain you lose proteins as the sprout consumes the protein in the grain. Also, the embryo begins converting the starches into simple sugars. The embryo does begin to make vitamins like Vit. A. The best thing to do is read the label and don’t fall into the traps of what is trending. Gluten-free is not necessarily a healthier choice if you don’t have problems with digesting gluten. Gluten is not the enemy. But, again read the labels.
Any substitutes for psyllium husk powder? @mind over munch
#help #s.o.s.:'(
nr: But your numbers show the problem! Much less than 1% of the US population are real sufferers, such as you… which is… about 2,6 Million sufferers, but statistics of the food industry and studies show that over 30% of the population are on this diet, which is over 100 Million people, who should never be on that diet… THAT is a fad and a multi-billion dollars industry.
Dude what you say it is true when you are analysing Weat Bread but that’s not true for Gluten free bread not made with weat, so Dude stop being a f…. and do better your homework. This people want to scam other scamer, omg
To read some comments here I must say bunch of idiots…. I ve got what this guy is talking about. He is right. Gluten free bread is shit, unless is not done by yourself in your kitchen. I was checking some gluten free products in shop and there was loooads of chemicals and other useless staff in it just to make it gluten free… So Should I eat gluten free bread if it doesn’t give me anyting at all and I am eating lot of chemicals in it? NO! This guy doesn’t say eat gluten, he says don’t eat gluten free bread…becuase it is shit. If you are celiatic you don’t need to eat bread at all..Eat real food. Real food is not the processed food you can buy in the shop…
Sooooo they remove the natural and add the unnatural hmmmm and they created a disease Celiac that probably from the shitty processed food but no we’re lazy and a scientist Said remove the Glue from your wheat its the issue. Hmmmmmm you know what lies in wheat that we really need.
Yes the molecule that can help fight off Free Radicals lies in Natural Wheat!!!!!!!! So if you remove what nature provided for us we are left we alien products as usual
know people in the food industry grain is ANIMAL FOOD not for human consumption!!!
I can’t believe Whole Foods kicked you out. Not cool. I’m doing my grocery shopping at New seasons from now on.
I tried making your wife’s gluten free keto bread made with almond butter. It is delicious and so easy. Thank you for the recipe. I also mail order Simple Kneads bread which contains awesome ingredients and tastes great. It is a bit pricey.
Be careful the Ezekiel english muffins contain Soy sprouts!!!!
Good morning Bobby! Love your videos. Any info on sunflower flour? I just found a recipe using sunflower flour (think the person ground their own) to make bread. I’m keto and looking for another option other than almond or coconut flour (want to mix things up). Thanks!
I am doing a research project for a marketing class and would appreciate it if anyone could participate in this short survey!

Hi. I really liked the recipes. However i was’nt sure of the proportions for the ingredients. Does one is to one mean we use the same measure for all the ingredients except the Baking soda and salt etc? Please clarify. thank you
Bobby, Ezekiel bread has soy beans. It is my understanding soy beans are bad, specially sprouted soy beans. Had you looked in to the negative impact of soy beans?
too bad i’m coming a little late here. but i suggest you listen to this guy. he knows his stuff. and i can’t over stress the significance of bread or grains. but there’s something he’s not covering.
first let me say i’ve been sickly most of my life. and the smartest thing i ever did was to get involved with nutrition. i eliminated all things bad, even gum, tea or coffee. then i eventually i started to crave what was good for me. so first i suggest you learn the difference between a healthy and unhealthy craving. you need a balanced diet. and i can assure you there’s nothing wrong with eating a lot complex carbs or meats like beef, chicken, turkey, or even pork. so don’t spend your life feeling guilty about it.
but i did have an allergy to grains, especially breads. so after a few years i started to crave bread. my body was sensitive but what i settled on was eating sprouted grain bread like ezekiel bread. but it wasn’t enough because it didn’t have enough complex carbs. so i added bread made from just unbleached white flour. there was a company called cybro’s from milwaukee that had a bread with the sprouted grains plus the white flour. later i eventually became less allergic and started consuming whole wheat and then less sprouted grains. this all takes time. i really don’t see the sprouted grains as some ideal form of bread but just a stepping stone. so i gravitated to a multi grain bread made from whole grains i ate that for several years.
i would then crave other complex carbs or grains like corn. popcorn is not a junk food but as good any other food. try an air popper. and use expeller pressed oils with it like sunflower seed and saffower oils. tortillas are excellent too. you can buy a dozen whole grain ones in mexican grocery stores for about 50 cents. other carbs i gravitated to, as good as bread where beans and nut butters, and buckwheat is great too. for the last few years, i’ve been into just whole wheat bread. there’s really good one at aldi stores, believe it or not. and now i’m into beans again.
i had allergies now and notice i never mentioned gluten free breads or anything else gluten free. it never really came into the picture for me. so maybe a lot of people who are trying gluten free really have grain allergies?
i went on for some time here. but a lot of people need a lot of help in this area. so i needed to be thorough.
so get on the cosmic wave length like me and give your body what it needs. get a feel for it. don’t listen to anyone else. get really well, not patchwork.
hope this helps some folks. contact me with any questions.
My favorite GF bread brand so far is Walmart’s Great Value brand. I tried Schaars and Live G Free (yuk!) and the GV brand is so much better. Alas! Walmart has stopped carrying it.
Whenever I eat normal bread I get a really bad headache..
Is it just me?
Can’t see how bad It can be what are we suppose to eat then If we can’t have gluten and want bread what can we eat then? cuz the stuff I get I find Is just has better then regular bread and this bread don’t have a million of Ingredients.
Can’t find the ingredients with cups or grams anywhere!! Really confused, how I can cook that without the right amount of ingredients!
Lol i dont think you’ve done very good research. Just make or buy bread that doesnt have a grain with gluten in it (wheat, rye and barley all have glutenMAYBE oats). Get something with rice flour, quinoa flour (expensive), or something like that.
Both are bad choices, one should not eat food with gluten or food that has been transformed in to non-gluten.
Hi Ameer!
You should probably change the title of this video to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings. Also, there are very healthy home-made-from-scratch gluten free bread out here. Please add that piece of info, which will make all of us GF folks happy.
You are teaching great stuff, so expect your meticulous, well-educated subbies to pick on you when you provide incomplete or confusing pieces of information!
Peace!
Hey is there a way to whip the eggs without a hand mixer? Out of my budget at the moment
What are your thoughts about Little Northern Bakehouse bread for gluten-free?
I was diagnosed in 2004 so I definitely remember the crumbly, terrible bread. I just remember it being so dry and crumbly and awful. It would never stay together. The bread has definitely gotten better since then!
Canyon is my favorite brand too! I have even found the massive slices (equivalent to a regular, wheat slice of bread) and its SO good. I love this brand and its my favorite bread that I have ever tried.
Udi’s is good and reliable. I can usually find it in any store. I really like it. It’s what I ate for a long time before finding Canyon. I’ll still buy it and be happy with it.
Schar is okay. I’ll still eat it but it is very gummy and I don’t like the texture. It gives me flashbacks to 2004 gf bread.
For some it may be okay that people don’t have to pass on gluten….But, for those who are sensitive or have Celiac Disease, eating it makes up not feel well. I would MUCH rather go without Gluten than to be in physical pain!
You, sir, are WRONG on so many levels! Obviously you have no knowledge of your subject. WHOLE, gluten free grains ARE HEALTHY. ORGANIC GRAINS ARE SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN GMO WHEAT!!! GMO wheat is making America sick! BTW are you a Monsanto troll?
Could someone tell me how much time would it take if I make the oat flour recipe in a microwave?
Thank you so much for the oat bread recipe!!!! I’m on a diet and rlly craving for some bread
still, you talk about gluten free DIET scam. agree that gluten free bread from the supermareket can be scam, however, the toxicity of the gluten was prooved by the scientists, and seriously your personal oppinion in this case is the same scam as gluten free bread. go back to grad school Mr.
wondering if there’s any brioche in the market that is healthy? I really like how it tastes, but usually the ingredients are not clean (vegetable oils and tons of sugar…).
That Silver Hills big little bread is my favorite! It’s definitely for picky people if you’re not into the sprouted taste. I noticed they sell it at target now, But they normally have it by the refrigerator is not on the normal bread aisle
no such thing as organic food or anything organic air is your biggest growth simulator the air is full of everything bad!!
But if you make your own bread wouldnt that mean u cn hav bread
Is that first Gluten free bread ACTUALLY 154 calories per slice????
Just wanted to check because sunbeam white bread is about 120 calories for TWO slices. 154 just seems much?
My son has wheat and egg allergy, do you have any bread recommendation for him?
Thanks for the video. It would be great if you could have a second one showing a table with product recommendations (in favor and against) considering the aspects you mentioned here. Cheers.
Hi, may I know what is the measurements for almond bread? Almond flour, psyllium husk and baking powder
Amongst all the waffling, you missed the most important part. Most gluten free bread contains semi synthetic chemicals E464 used in paint and body lotion!!!
Some people can’t afford to continuously buy those expensive breads.
Does sprouted really make a difference? And whole-grain vs refined actually doesn’t make much of a difference when it’s not fermented/sprouted. The added anti-nutrients counter-balance that little bit of nutrients in the whole-grain.
I would always go for slow-fermented sourdough bread which I guess you won’t find in the packaged bread section. Go to the bakery, make it yourself or go for keto bread.
My favorite GF store bought bread is Schär brand! It is sold at Walmart now. Sometimes at local markets on sale for $5.49. I love it! Udi brand is ok too but not nearly as good as Schär. Thanks for sharing!
Love the Dave’s Bread, they have it at the Giant by my house in Maryland!
Well I’m not gonna eat bread by itself! Lol. The meat n n veggies I eat with it WILL satisfy me haha. Come on bro!
May I ask why don’t you use the same technique (beating egg white) with three kinds of flour? I wanna use oat flour with egg white beating.
Oats contain a protein called Avenin which in some people with coeliac disease can trigger an immune response, gluten tests can detest the proteins in wheat rye and barley that trigger the immune response but not the avenin in oats, oats cannot be labelled as gluten free in Australia for this reason, so if are coeliac or gluten intolerant be cautious with oats, I’m gonna try the almond loaf for sure
Did the owner of the store come out and kindly tell you to keep the refrigeration door closed if you do not plan to buy anything?
Cracked wheat is bourghul or bulgar. It is used to make tabouli! He said it is unbleached enriched flour?
Today i saw this video and didn’t wait i made The oat honey bread and it’s in the oven, can’t wait to see the result thank you so much for the amazing recipes
Eating real food isn’t always possible. Let’s say you have no time to eat so you need to grab something for the road (and you are into fitness and need your calories), you can’t just bring rice or potatoes with you in the car and eat it. But you can easily eat a piece of gluten free bread.
This was helpful! I bought some Food for Life brown Rice bread and it was terrible. I tried some of the Little Northern Bakehouse Seeds & Grains loaf and it’s the best I’ve found. It has a nice texture and flavor.
Could you please suggest few options for bread that are dairy free and soy free? I used to eat Ezkel bread but it has soybean in it. Could you do a series of food items that are dairy free and soy free? thank you
I don’t think he is saying gluten is OK. I think he’s saying gluten-free is just as bad or worse (certainly worse in the pocket book). So if you have celiac, don’t eat gluten-free pasta and other gluten-free garbage.
“Women owned”
The owners really found it necessary to put their gender on the packaging.
Can you do Breads in Aldi & Lidl? Thanks for doing Whole Food!
Great info but only the white collar professional class can make practical use of it. Regular blue collar working people can’t afford to spend $5-$6 for a loaf of bread. He says nothing about the cost factor. I guess because, like most upper middle-class members of the aristrocracy, he doesn’t seem to have a clue that the majority of Americans can only afford the cheap processed, chemical-saturated crap mass-produced by the corporate food conglomerates. Most of our mass-produced food ought to be labeled toxic but we’ve got to keep the profits flowing to the corporate fat cats who literally own and run our government. Having a nation populated with healthy, educated people making enough money at their menial jobs to buy healthful food would be “socialism” and we certainly don’t want that, do we?
the reason people are allergic to gluten is because most of all wheat is mutated,Gmo and highly processed, if you want to eat wheat buy Organic whole wheat berries grind them into flower don’t sift and make your bread the way God Intended it to be perfectly safe and healthy but remember change grains you shouldn’t eat wheat all the time there are so many grains to eat change it up
Try some Kamut
$9 for base culture keto bread. I even saw it for $20. I dont need bread that bad
Are these brands celiac safe because I’m still confused on bread that is gluten free but contain wheat
Eat potatoes, rice, beans, and legumes for carbs. Eat plenty of vegetables, moderate amounts of fruit, and moderate amounts of meat. Consume monounsaturated and polyunsaturated oils such as olive oil and grape seed oil. Consume sugar and saturated fats sparingly. Exercise regularly. Not that hard.
You should try the gluten free bread sold at aldi’s! They make a lot of really good gluten free products and less expensive than most gluten free brands, it’s called liveGfree
I want to find canyon for my son. He really likes the Trader Joe’s cinnamon raisin and multigrain. Texture is really good but the slices are small.
Thank you so much for your channel!!! I was diagnosed with CD about 5 years ago. I’m still learning things. As far as the breads go, Canyon Bakehouse would be my favorite, Scharr is second and Udi 3rd. You’re so right about Scharr being better after toasted!!!
Thank you again for another informative video. Would appreciate your opine on Schär Artisan Baker Multigrain Bread. I have to eat gluten free bread.
You are so wasting your money searching for a store-bought item. Make your own: “Jillee’s Gluten Free bread that doesn’t suck” It’s a knock out, it’s easy. I also made my own gluten free cake batter that really holds up. ( https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/8139/gluten-free-yellow-cake/)
Unfocused. I cut out wheat and milk and six doctors diagnoses went away.:/
Loved how the Whole Foods MOD acosted you that late into the video. Surely, your efforts may actually help that store improve options. Further, I second your comments about the Ezekiel Sprouted grain breads of which I have been touting their benefits for close to 20 years in my weight loss seminars. But the Food 4 Life GF muffins are very chewy for my celiac wife and as such love the Canyon line and here in WA Franz bakery makes a similar version that has the texture she has been craving.
Gluten free is not a scam its a lifestyle because your gut cannot tolerate the proteins..it gets impaired damaged and inflamed…celiac is the autoimmune response to gluten..it has to be removed to heal..that is not a scam, it well being and BTW it works GREAT, our entire family has never been happier nor healthier.
Please don’t stop making these type of videos! I love them and I appreciate you!
I cannot find Husk
what would happen if I dont add Husk in the almond bread?
Gluten free bread is made for people who have gluten intolerance or coeliac disease in which if they eat gluten it will harm their health more than processes to make the bread or how much sugar is in it, you just have fucked up idiots who think a gluten free diet will make them lose weight but they are sorely wrong, if you go gluten free other than for health reasons your putting your body in starvation mode and will make you lose muscle ( your metabolism) and cling on to the fat and yes eating to much gluten will make you fat but if you eat too much fruit it will make you fat. balance diet and exercise is the only true way to lose it
The silver hills bread had Organic Cane sugar. Conflicting messages huh?
I get Dave’s Killer bread (buns) 21 grain…best buns I’ve used for (100% grass fed!) burgers. I make the best tasting and healthy cheeseburger you’ve never had. Don’t you wish you were my friend?
My dietitian recommended sprouted power bread (silver hills) I love it.
I was today years old when I found out that there is bread recipe in the bible, and they actually sell that bread and on top on that it’s healthy.
This is why I make homemade bread. Pure fresh ground wheat grain, yeast, water, salt. I’ll add oats sometimes or ground flax seed. Simple to make. So good right out of the oven…hot with some real butter…mmmmm….
You make videos on what to buy, make a video on how to afford it
11:26 health alert: avoid the agave syrup it’s even worse than regular sugar in the long term. It has a lot of fructose and none of the dairy fiber to back it up like a veggie would. Also it’s very high in the ingredient list so it matters most than organic extra virgin oil.
Great video guys………….can you do one on best quality cold cereals???????
lololol i love watching these videos who read these ingredients who do not have any idea what they are (or even how to say them) and just assume they are bad because they do not understand hahahahahaha
dude ur an idiot.
what about the gluten free bread made at home?? I mean, REAL WHOLE flours without starches? brown rice, millet, sorghum, etc. Are they so bad too?
Come on man. The GI isn’t such a big problem if you don’t stuff yourself with bread. Eliminate meat and other animal products, stuff yourself with veggies, fruits, nuts and spices and you will thrive. Gluten free bread didn’t kill anybody, animal products kill many though.
Thanks for the recipe because my country is at war in supplies
Gluten is not a glue inside wheat flour. After being introduced with water, two proteins in wheat, gliadin and glutenin, combine to form gluten.
I love Cost Co but I’m in Canada and we dont get all the same products.
The Bread looks really good. I would like the recipe to copy it so I can try it for myself.
Love ur recipe, can we use barley flour in any of these recipe. Plz guide me which one?
Before January of 2020 I never baked bread. I started baking bread after I saw a video on YouTube that looked so easy I had to try. It is now July and I haven’t purchased a single bread from a store since and I can bake all varieties. It is really easy, people, and you are the one in charge of ingredients. Check out Artisan Beard with Steve and you will never have to buy bread again. BTW, my breads cost me between 50 and 75 cents each.
Excuse me sir but you are comparing 2 processed fake foods in your wheat gluten bread products and the gluten free breads. They are both bad and unhealthy for you. Now near the end of your video you finally address whole foods direct from Nature so lets look at that shall we. Wheat kernels contain far more gluten today than the same grain that our forefathers enjoyed back in their days and why is this. Because during the agricultural revolution of introducing the wheat into our diet by the bread and pasta industry they lobbied congress to let them bio tech the extra gluten proteins into the heirloom grains to make the end product more manageable to increase sales. Gluten is causing have to the intestinal tract of people with Gluten intolerance and the only way around this is to out right boycott processed bakery Gluten or not. Wheat berries that are sprouted then turned into gluten free grass for juicing is a very cleansing blood builder that the Standard American Diet could use more of. Holistic Chef Barry ” The Good Earth Chef ”
For the honey& oats bread can OLIVE OIL be used instead of coconut oil? Also, can the HONEY be left out??? Thanks
While in Malaysia: There’s only Gardenia and Mighty White and that’s it
Ahh… Breath of fresh air. Americans are total suckers for fads, and related mass manipulations.
what gf bread do you eat? hard to find decent tasting for kiddo
Thank you so much! Just ate one slice of bread and now i’m really sick. this has been hard so seeing this is a God send because the docs have been wondering if i don’t have celiac disease and we have already figured i can’t have yeast. Thank you so much cause i like sandwiches.
Bob’s is super corn contaminated… corntaminated, hehehe. But, I do have safe ingredients that I can use. I’ve been having a lot of trouble finding corn-free food, let alone recipes, but these actually seem doable!
Love the simple recipes! a bit painful watching the hurried “folding” in egg whites
Koeplingers 100% whole wheat tastes great, non gmo, and is relatively cheap
I can’t eat wheat flour barley etc. Make your own bread is the only thing to do. It’s not only bread manufacturers r putting crap in.
You are not specialist and doctor as well. You have to more rescherch and study and then after u tube posting
. I strongly recommend.
Hi i want to try your bread for my mom
She is very very sick due to severe allergies and cannot eat much bcx she had no options in Glutenfree diet. Now i told her ill make these breads for her. But i need to know the quantities… You have not mentioned quantities you are taking. Can you please explain me….
I thought your previous video was that daves bread had too much sugar
Do not throw out your bread! Cut it up into squares and bake it with rosemary and olive oil (salt if you like) to make croutons. Also, it is really good for making French toast! Have fun! Enjoy!
This is the deal…I see allot of people talking about how much healthy food cost…but how much does it cost when you go to DOCTORS office because SOMETHING you ate makes you sick? Ok BUY THE BREAD ANNA MAE!!!! It will save you LOTS of trips to the doctor. Enjoy your day! You’re welcome! Thanks Bobby
I LOVE the KETO one!! Very pricey only down fall….but perfect as toast with some natural peanut butter.
Seriously, thank you.
Did i said thank you just once? Well, thank you again
Interesting comparison! Yes, I like Canyon a lot too! Have you tried any Food for Life breads? They are better by themselves than others. And I wish you had talked about the ingredients and nutrition.
Muchas gracias, estoy fascinada con estas recetas ¡sin levadura y sin tiempos de reposo! Guau, estoy encantada.
Thanks for gluten free bread option. Can you share the option for without eggs also.
Me: Reluctantly googles fav bread & reads ingredients. BOOM! Soybean Oil, Monoglycerides, Datem! Oh how he list goes on!!! Here I was thinking I was making all the right choices!!!!!! Good thing is that there is a trader Joe’s right down the street from work & I am going to just switch it up…… =)
We just have to use flours that are naturally gluten free and make your own gluten free flour mix. These flours can be Amaranth or Shorgum or Bajra/Jowar/Brown rice flour. These flours are very healthy. Avoid ready mixes that are loaded with potato starch, tapioca starch etc. which is very unhealthy. We can add a bit of xanthum gum to our own gluten free mix to substitute for the glu in the glu-ten!!
I don’t know if he’s wrong or right but I’ve been on a LOW gluten diet and it has helped my epilepsy and I feel ALOT better. I say low because I live in the south and my family loves to cook. If you go to their house and don’t eat, and why not, their southern, they can cook, they maybe offended. I don’t want to go totally gluten free because if I accidently eat some gluten I’ll be in misery. The guy shot his self in the foot, he said gluten free diets are poison but don’t eat wheat. Which is it? Gluten replacements are probably bad for you, Coke vs Diet Coke, its only a sugar replacement. Most people that I know eat their own bread, bread they made. Rice flour does taste good, especially in brownies.
Hey Bobby you should make an updated version of this because Dave’s bread is absolutely terrible now; they changed the ingredients.
If you have celiac disease you can die eating gluten. Gluten products are not for everybody, meanwhile let’s eat tapioca flour breads (a very healthy root from Central and South America).
The yellow package Ezekiel bread has a nice flavor. Its wheaty nice like raisin bread. But no raisins.take care.
I am so glad you approve of sprouted grain bread, I grew up going to the Oroweat factory store in South San Francisco, CA, they used to make sprouted grain bagels & breads that I loved, I knew nothing about nutrition at the time, and I’m guessing my mom didn’t either, I just really loved the taste
I make my own flour in my blender with raw nuts only and make my own bread w/ few ingredients.
Ok just discovered you, i know i know! Lol BUT OMG what a wealth of information. I have been watching ALL your videos! No wonder america is SO sick. Thank you for doing this research for us and teaching us what we should be eating!!! Seriously mind blown! I thought i knew enough but no so. Thank you Thank you! Plus good to see Chicago in the background and Arts cubs shirt as it is my home town!
Thanks much! Just bought a loaf of Trader Joe’s Organic Sprouted Multigrain Bread ($4) and made a sandwich. Absolutely delicious and now my go to bread.
I avoid bread with Flaxseeds and Soy products!!! Will lower your Libido
OMG this is the 21st Century! It’s unbelievable how ignorance prevails in America, this video is a prime example! 1. FACT: Choosing gluten free is NOT a fad, it’s a necessity Ever hear of Celiac Disease? 2. FACT: Gluten IS NOT EXTRACTED from anything. Whole ground GLUTEN FREE GRAINS AND GROUND NUTS replace the UNHEALTHY wheat in the diet! 3. FACT: Wheat flour is highly processed, washed with chemicals, bleached and bromated, making it one of the most unhealthy grains on this earth! Get smart people, do you research!
Hi All! I am confused about the cracked wheat part because I thought cracked wheat is nutritious since the bran and germ are still included. Does anyone have any insights to this?
Who knew thank you amazing good you and Art are helping us be more knowledgable
You know, we should look for a solution to this problem instead of looking for/pointing out “facts” about gluten that may or may not be true, because all it does is confuse people into thinking if they’re eating the right food or not.
We have had Dave’s KIller Bread here in Idaho for many years.
Tip gylcymeic index is not always right. What I mean is if you eat 25 grams of carbs of item one and item two the blood sugar response will be very close, even if one is complex and one is simple. Ie white and brown rice. A normal meter will not tell the difference therefore the only benefit is the nutrition not the blood sugar response. True story
Sorry dude but the only scam here is your video. Very sciency to compare two ingredientlists and pinpoint harmfullness into their length. Refined sugar only has one ingredient on their list, is it healthy therefore? No, of course not. You know you can really hurt people telling them such lies?
Very bad word choice here.
By “gluten free diet” he just means diets where you go on eating all manner of breads and packaged foods just ones with rice, garbanzo,….etc.
He makes it clear a “good gluten free diet” to him is just avoiding gluten free substitute foods, and eating WHOLE veg, meat, fruit etc..
Just tried Ezekiel bread and loved it. In the past, I thought by buying whole wheat, I was eating healthy; thank you for opening my eyes(and introducing me to a better tasting bread).
I have not met a bread that liked me, Lets get real. Diabetics should NEVER eat bread….If it has a carb, it is bad. Ask yourself this, “Is this slice of bread worth a foot?”
Am interested in the Oat Honey bread and it is written in the full recipe of it that one serving makes around 181cal, did I get it right? or it meant for the whole loaf?
Thank you
I do enjoy Ezekiel bread but it does not do well for my blood sugar and there are other videos on YT where Ezekiel bread caused higher blood sugar spikes than typical wheat and white bread
Bread is crap! Period! Wheat gluten, sugar, soy? Its crap! And its all the same!
Hi I have Aldi GF plain flour how can I bake any thing out of it.? Thanks for the sharing your recipes
I tried paying attention but Im not very smart.
so what you are saying is that for people who aren’t allergic to gluten,
its okay to eat gluten bread?
How much wheat bread is okay to eat per day?
I am trying to make sure my intestines are okay. it kinda creeps me out having a giant ball of gluten going through my intestines. ;_;
One of the reasons gluten free foods are unsuitable for people with gluten or wheat sensitivity is that they contain CROSS REACTIVE foods that the body sometimes mistakes for gluten, so the autoimmune state and inflamed gut continues…
These cross reactive foods can be anything from millet, corn, dairy to coffee and yeast. It can vary from person-to-person. Avoiding gluten is not enough.
Non-GMO has nothing to do with whether a chemical has been used after the grain is grown to extract as much oil as possible. It means that the seed that was planted has not been genetically modified. Does this matter? It’s debatable, and has a lot to do with why it was modified-was it to make it resistant to pesticides, so the crop could be sprayed with poison and kill “only” everything but the GMO grain? (BAD). Is it to add nutrients that wouldn’t otherwise be there (as in GMO rice, designed to reduce malnutrition in impoverished cultures whose diet is based on white-i.e. refined-rice?)….much more debatable. More important when evaluating oil is to look for unsaturated fat content vs saturated fat, especially chemically saturated (hydrogenated) fat. The more saturated/hydrogenated, the more solid the fat is at room temp, and this often makes it easier to work with and gives a pleasing texture. But NOT good for you-avoid these.
Also, “unbleached” is a good thing! Bleaching kills also the microorganisms in flour-the stuff that we sourdough lovers use to build our cultures. You do usually see “unbleached” with refined flours, not whole grain (which I don’t think is ever bleached-correct me if I’m wrong), and bread made with whole-grain flour is more filling, healthier, and less likely to spike your blood sugar than if it’s made with refined flour. But it’s not an either/or. It’s actually very hard (not impossible, but hard) to make 100% whole-grain bread that will satisfy the American palate. Almost all whole-grain bread is “made with whole grains,” meaning it uses both whole-grain and refined flours. Better to know the ratio of the two (whole-grain listed first is a good sign) and, as you mention, the content of protein and fiber, which will be much higher with more whole grain.
What about corn syrup in some of your good bread recommendations?
Who knew thank you amazing good you and Art are helping us be more knowledgable
How can “gluten free” bread damage health….what about people who never eat bread.? no gluten there either…??
I have Celiac Disease and agree Canyon Bakehouse is the best GF bread. I do use Udis for my hamburger buns and Hotdog buns.
“Healthy” bread options are just too damn expensive. Sorry.
Yeah, a few bucks extra for JUST bread isn’t bad, but when you effectively double the price for EVERY product,(bread, milk, fruit, eggs, cheese, ect) it is just not feasible for an average household. It can easily turn a $100 weekly trip into $250+. Just not financially possible for most people.
What can I use to make the first bread to rise a little more??
Hi Bobby, thank you for this video. I am vegan and need a good bread that is gluten-free. I am having a hard time finding one. The ones you mentioned that are gluten-free have egg in it. Thank you for your informative videos.
Who knew thank you amazing good you and Art are helping us be more knowledgable
Ha! That is the gluten-free bread I get! It is DELICIOUS! It is great for grilled cheese AND french toast!
If you come up with an egg-free, yeast-free GF option, I’m in. I have too many food intolerances.
I’m looking for GF and nutrition bread but not easy to find a good GF bread in Perth.
Love you guys. I have learned so much from your shopping tips. I was going to drive 2hours to shop at Whole Foods since they blocked you no no no!,, You make me want to shop. Rose is so cute I am from North Carolina go flav.
Made the Oat honey, I love this. I used Quaker Gluten Free instant oats and the Oat flour by Bob Mill. This was delicious! Thank you, I now have Hypothyroid and really wanted to try something for my avocado toast so I scaled by the honey.
I really wanter some gluten free bread recipes. Sure going to try.
Totally agree with the high sugar content of Gluten free bread HOWEVER if this is the only choice for people who suffer from Coeliac disease then you can’t hold that against them and you would totally understand why they have to choose gluten free bread
Bob had no explanation for all the Glyphosate in some of his “organic” products….
Gluten free breads are overpriced & totally not worth paying the high price of a dissatisfied taste & cardboard texture especially when not toasted. I truly dont believe they are 100% gluten free! The only way to be 100% gluten free is to simply just make it yourself.
Bread a the frozen section….we don’t have that in my country.
I don’t understand because people are saying gluten isn’t healthy for you but other people say gluten free diets isn’t good for your bodies like who do I agree with
So I’m not kneading my dough too long? I do run the brown rice through the mill 3 times to get really fine. Should I leave it a little coarser? We are in the far north and have to use what we bring in each summer. We may be 150 miles from Barrow, but we still want to do the right thing. I have seen a guy who makes a no knead ciabata bread. (youtube) He lets the dough sit, rather than knead. That would be less processing. What are your thoughts.
FAR NORTH HIPPIE AND KNIK GIRL.
I like this illustration and would like to try it, however, I would like the measurement to be able to do so
Ohh they look so delicious!! I have a question, do i have to add the honey to the oat bread mix? I want to make it for sandwiches. Can i remove the honey?
Thanks
I love oat nutty bread, probably not good. Here’s the thing about your videos, they’re very informative but a lot of people just can’t afford it. I know I personally after working many hard years as a nurse I’m stuck disabled, alone, and very limited income. It pretty much stops becoming a choice. Just some info, I’m sure I’m not the only one. I absolutely love fresh fruits and vegetables! Another issue is being able to stand long enough to cook and do dishes. Sounds simple, but it’s not. I’m glad you’re teaching people how to eat healthier though. In this world of everything fast food the education is very important.
Why don’t you ask for permission to film instead of creating drama for no reason?
Since this is a nutrition youtube channel, I will give some leeway. However, it is all about balance. No point eating gross tasting healthy bread. When you have a craving for a white bread egg mayo sandwich, you need it. Dont try to curb it.
Thank you! What do you think of baking your own sourdough bread? Any recipes? Thanks
Thanks for the recipe but can you mention the portion of each ingredient please?
Video is misleading. Gluten free is actually good for you! However the substitutes for bread and pasta are terrible to your health! I highly recomend no flour, no starch, no sugar. Eat only fruits, grains, meats and organic dairy. Your body needs it. Flour and pastas are highly nocive to your health.
Gluten free bread can be very nutritious, consider teff and quinoa with a lower GI index than wheat:-) Teff always contains the hulls, quinoa has an excellent protein profile. When you make soda bread you even don’t need sugar:-) with a GI from 100. Psyllium husk fiber is gluten free and helps it holding together, great fiber too. Add some delicious nuts and seeds and of you go with a wheat and gluten free bread.
The ingredients in commercial bread with gluten are not any better than in gluten free bread, even using caramel (e150) to give it the looks of being a very healthy whole grain bread by only making it darker.
For those with celiac disease and intolerance and or wheat/grain allergies, nothing is worse foot your body than eating wheat.
Btw gluten doesn’t hold molecules together but the ingredients, an ingredient is not a molecule! It’s clue which also is a protein that are many people allergic too because the immune system has a wrong response to it. Gluten protein can be replaced with other plant proteins. Gluten protein I’d not essential.
So what if you’re gluten intolerant would this digest well without the discomfort if you get the sprouted bread?
Nvm just make your own. Whether you can eat gluten or not, just make your own. Simple as that.
Basic take away, if you’re a Celiac patient or have a wheat allergy, this video doesn’t apply to you. If you’re a Celiac, or have a wheat allergy and you want bread, it has to be gluten free. For everyone else, you can keep eating wheat, rye, and barley. For those who claim gluten sensitivity, please get the Celiac Blood Panel done. Your Celiac Disease could be the silent or latent variety, and wouldn’t it be better to know now than later!
You say not to go by what the front of the package says, but you trust in what the back of the package says.. One advice -dont believe in everything you read.. There are things that the food industry don’t label.
What if I am allergy to almond also…what substitute can I use?
Would the recipe of the oats and honey bread work without baking soda?
Best to go off grains altogether. Fruits, Veg, nuts, seeds and beans will get you as far as you want to go, even to 100 years.
I’m soooo glad I found this video. I have tried so many recipes and they didn’t work for one reason or another. These look amazing and so easy. Can’t wait to try. Thank you for sharing.
Hi i am from india… i tried your oats and honey bread… i also added ragi flour in it… turned out awesomeeee thanks to you!!!!!!!
Have you ever thought about why people could eat wheat with no problems centuries ago? The industry has altered the composition so much that our bodies no longer know what to do with it. I am gluten intolerant and CAN’T eat modern day wheat. It causes fibromyalgia symptoms among other things. You seem to think that people are going gluten free just to be healthier or thinner and its a fad. I’m here to tell you that gluten free is the only way for me to eat a sandwich with bread! The flours I use are made of rice, almonds, and corn just to name a few. None of them are wheat that the gluten has been removed from. I have also used Einkorn wheat, which is an ancient variety of wheat. It is great and causes no problems with my health. So, maybe you should get your facts straight before you get on your soap box. Shame on you for sticking your nose into something that really doesn’t concern you!!!
I make awesome keto bread and batter for on the cheap. Thanks for store bought alternatives
What about sourdough bread? Can you talk about it, I love Ezequiel bread, but dr Guidry recommend sourdough. What should I use?
Thanks,Diana
U make really good and helpful videos. I am looking for best honey to buy. Can you please make a short clip on best honey?
Could you pleaase write the ingredients of gluten free 1-1 baking flour bread in grams?:)
You didn’t get to the fluffy hamburger buns before you got kicked out.
Here in the UK we cant get Sprouted items our range of organic and keto is pathetic so i have to get what i can, or pay through the roof for somewhat healthy food:(
Thank you Kimmy for saving me a ton of time and energy by sharing your experiences! I feel optomistic knowing there are choices out there that are real options. I’ll be watching!
Less than 1% of the US population suffer celiac disease and have actual gluten sensitivity. Yet… as a fad, over 30% of the population (over 100 Million people) think it’s a good idea to avoid gluten, which is a very important group of proteins. This is a Billion Dollars industry and face it… they live off that fad, and feed the fear of gluten to make even more money. But why should science be a consideration, right?
Thank you for making these videos. I recently became a mom and I want to give the best food to my baby. So disappointed that most of the food in stores are super unhealthy for us…
Yes it was. I didn’t have yogurt so I used 3 eggs but used only 1 yolk and 3 egg white and sprinkled shredded coconut on the top. I used canola oil as I had no coconut oil.
Some of us have no choice…gluten makes some of us deathly ill right after eating it.
Cut the crap; the real research you have to do is about exorphins and how it affect our brains. Side note, casein (a protein in milk) also has those said exorphins flooding in. It’s not only a coeliac disease related issue: it’s a product of the industrialization of how we get create our foods. How so? Well, glad you asked! It’s easier to make industrial amounts of bread out of gluten rich flour because it sticks better and also…. it’s quite addictive. Ever heard of endorphins? Same stuff but produced by the body. Morphine is addictive, bread is addictive, dairy products are addictive, sex is addictive… See the bigger picture now? Let’s discuss this now:D
Hi I don’t understand why these stores prevent you from filming!? Your doing a great service to public. I guess they figure that your favoring some products more of course..telling people not to buy the junk. Thank you for all the work you do to open our eyes to better health
If gluten free is so bad then y do the millions of people who have Costochondritis recommend it
What about fresh grouund buckwheat, made into sourdough:) NO STARCH!!! Wheat is bad due to gliadin protein that DESTROYS your health, It’s not just about gluten but GLIADIN, the protien that acts as an OPIATE (PERCOCET ANYONE?). Gluten is a supercarbohydrate, 2 slices (noticed 2 not 1) of wheat bread will cause diabetes faster from spiking blood sure MORE THAN A SNICKERS BAR. EATING WHEAT CAUSES HEART DISEASE, DIABETES AND OBESITY!!!
Would you know if good quality gluten free bread is for skin disorders?
And of course yet another video which never mentions pesticides herbicides insecticides which are all good for the gut NOT it’s amazing how we are all suffering with food allergies these days ever since we started poisoning our food in the 1950s we have been eating bread for thousands of years and now it’s bad for us..?
Thank you for making me aware of the difference in wheat bread and G.F. Bread. Great video!
You do realize that ciliac disease is a serious ailment and affects 2% of the population. And Gluten triggers an auto immune defense that is both painful and life threatening.? Gluten causes the body to destroy the lining of your intestine. I have ciliac disease and gluten was killing me. Stomach pain. diarrhea, bloating, anemic, and deficient in many “core vitamins and minerals”. I have been on a gluten free diet for two years and I am now back to living a simi-normal life. Except for those times when I eat something that does not list wheat or rye as one of the main ingredients. Then I suffer for a week. So I am very careful not to eat any wheat product.
You did very little research and you created most of your data from thin air. Gluten free flour is NOT wheat flour that is processed to remove the gluten. You should have know that before pretending to be an expert. Gluten free flour is made from grains that never contained gluten in the first place. You flash a long list of additives and preservatives that is in Gluten free bread. Where did you get that list.? your back pocket? Because I put my gluten free bread next to store bought white bread and the ingredients are virtually the same except for the source of the flour. Then you brand this make believe video a “Gluten Scam”. You know what I think? I thinks this video is the real Scam.. I think you make these psudo science videos and try to peddle them off as real science so as to create a controversy. Because controversy brings more people to view your video. Good Job.
Bobby, question for you as i’m a bit confused now one of the sprouted breads you said ‘sure, it has a little tapioca flour’ but that was the third ingredient; aren’t ingredients listed from most to least used? the bread that you said isn’t as good had tapioca listed as third as well… or does the order of ingredients not matter?
It kills me that it costs so much to be healthy.. can’t find them in local supermarkets which makes it tough.
you got a point. but i definitely feel better eating gluten free bread, i dont always eat bread anyway only occasionally, but when i do its gluten free
I should hope that every intelligent being knows by now that gluten, especially modern day wheat gluten, is very dangerous for all human health. Even if you don”t have Celiac disease. This video is not scientific at all. It is very simple to buy healthy gluten-free grains and flours to make your own bread products. I use amaranth, almond flour, bean flour etc. He is only referring to the garbage products that are in the store.
If I was an employee I wouldn’t give a keto rats ass about a customer filming. Some people just wanna feel they have some sort of authority in life. Come on guy, your policing the bread now? He probably had a traffic whistle too.
Thanks but if I can give some advice…Of the 18 min there’s about 4 minutes of usable content. Just get to it with out all the yapping…
I am allergic to yeast and normally make bases and breads with buttermilk and baking powder. I have to start baking gluten free for my one daughter who was very ill as a baby we suspect someone slipped her a vaccine that she reacted to, and ended up having too much antibiotics to save her life because they could find no reason for her severe allergic life threatening and repeated respiratory collapse… it destroyed her gut:(
Thank you Bobby!! Now I don’t have to test a million different breads! You are amazing!!!!!!!!!
Appreciate if you mention the quantity of the items like how many glass of the almond flour? How many glass of water? And so on….
love your recipes! I can’t have dairy, will almond yogurt work?
I see bread with “fermented wheat flour” and “vital wheat gluten”… is this something that should be avoided in breads? (Given no sensitivity’s but want a bread that won’t spike Blood sugars as much)
Wow.look very good,but I want gluten free.i like does myself,I very cheap
Stop being a hack and a fake and stop preaching RUBBISH!
Clearly you are not an expert in anything you talked about in this video. I saw nothing on your gluten free ingredients list that was anywhere close to dangerous. It’s all used in everyday cooking and is completely safe.
You need to really dive into the world of auto immune diseases and see why a gluten free diet is essential.
It’s the same reason why wheat is being remove from pet food. IT’s because the wheat in the pet food is known to cause cancer and kill our pets.
You are a moron. Gluten is a protein in wheat family. It’s also a protein that many people are allergic to. Your video is a comedy of ignorance. You can bake many things naturally gluten free. The fact that you don’t have the skills is your problem.
It’s a fact that today’s wheat is not your grandfather’s wheat. Watch ‘Wheat Belly’.
I agree that “gluten free” flours are not as healthy as they claim. They’re highly glycemic, even more-so than wheat (which is also high).
Yes, grass-fed meats, pastured eggs, veg’s, a little fruit. Just eat real food.
Avoid soy (known endocrine disruptor.). It will mess with your thyroid and you don’t want your metabolism to take a turn for the worse.
Guys, don’t take this guy seriously! Make your own research about it! Gluten it bad, bad, bad!
Please please can you recommend alternatives to the items you keep telling us not to eat!! Im new to you videos and after watching a few ive noticed no alternatives mentioned? Which bread milk etc is good to eat?
Is there another oil you can use if allergic to all coconut?! I would really appreciate it
TAKE THIS VID AWAY and study the WHOLE Spectrum before you propose yourself as a gluten guru §!!!
Thank you for your great review of all of these breads. I have tried all of them and even though they are good “in a pinch”, they all have their downfalls. I have found a GF bread that is made by LaBrea Bakery that is so delicious you don’t even have to toast it first! I like the white bread better than the multigrain, however they are both better than any brand I have tried. Also, there is a GF bagel that is made by a company called BFree. The plain bagels are awesome, and they have an “everything” bagel that is great, too! BFree also has tortillas and pita breads that are delicious! I haven’t found either brand at my local Walmart, however Kroger sells both brands in the BAKERY section. Yeay! They are NOT in the frozen food section!!!! Also, BFree products state they are vegan and CD friendly!
Are all gluten free breads in grocery stores in the freezer?
Thank you Bobby! I love Canyon Bakehouse bread, thanks to you. I have now bought out all of the Canyon Bakehouse breads in my local grocery store so if they do not restock I will go to another store to continue getting my bread. You are the best!
Gluten free 1/1 contains BROWN RICE which contains cancer causing ARSENIC
Thank you so much for your review! I too did try and still do like to try new gluten free breads. Winco started bringing the Franz brand in my area. The loaves are a little bit bigger than the rest I have noticed. Price seems relatively in the $5 range. Also Mission Gluten Free tortilla breads are also helpful when wanting to make burritos and other flat bread recipes.
thank you for this video, I try to to stay away from gluten and sweets do to alcoholic liver cirrhosis don’t need a fatty live disease besides. I try to eat organic as much as possible, iv thought about making my own bread and now i know how and were to get the proper ingredients from.
Has anyone tried the low carb bread by the brand When Pig Fly?? Curious if it tastes okay?
Thanks for sharing. Keep up the great videos.
That being said most people cant afford to spend $5+ dollars on bread. Most people have no choice but to eat like crap because health foods are an elitist pleasure not something the average person can afford. Just saying.
What vegan egg substitute would be the best to use in these recipes?
2 issues with this video: Beings they got kicked out of Whole Foods, they didn’t get to the Bobby approved hamburger buns; + why couldn’t they just ask for a consent to film form when they started out?
Gluten free does not necessary mean healthy, and i’m sure that people that are already health conscious would never just purchase an Item just because it’s labeled gluten free. I have read the ingredients on all of those so called gluten free products and if there was more than 5 ingredients or something that I have no clue what it is I’d leave them right on the shelf. Thank God I don’t have to do that any more I have learned to make wise choices when it comes to my health and well being,I have several food allergies so I cook my own foods. I am so grateful to all of the folks that have experimented and came up with wonderful gluten free recipes, and taken the time to share them with me and countless other folks. To all of you folks out there that are suffering from gluten and other allergies remember the key to good health is eating well.
Since new ownership, the ingredients on ALL Dave’s Killer Bread has changed updated ingredients are on their website. They added expeller pressed CANOLA oil. The old recipe worked just fine this really SUCKS especially for those with canola oil allergies/sensitivities. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Dave’s Killer bread 21 whole grains and seeds 5g of sugarTotal carbs. 22g. Do you still recommend it?
Ameer Rosic: What’s your credentials? Do you have any peer reviewed papers posted on JAMA?? By your answers to the comments, it appears you have at least attended some high school classes, but I don’t think you went much further then that. And then you want us to think you know better then William Davis, MD (Wheat Belly) and David Perlmutter, MD (Grain Brain) and the facts they present about what the effects of modem day wheat have on the human body? You must be ‘brain-dead’!
Your 6 looks like your G.
By the way, u can just use water to rid of gluten from wheat, no chemicals.
I heard that there was “acacia gum” and other types of “gum” in these recipes and that ingredient is used to make paint as well. I Googled it.
I bought sprouted bread from traders Joe’s it didnt f mske a diffrence!
Why does everything have eggs? Celiacs often have allegies to other foods. How about some good breads that don’t have wheat or eggs or milk? Besides schaar that is.
Awesome video, but why do some people say grains are bad for you? I dont get it
I don´t understand you. Are you saying gluten free diet is not good? Or are you saying gluten free bread is not good? I ask you because first of all you said ” Gluten free diet is not healty for you.”. Gluten free diet is not = gluten free bread. You can have a gluten free diet without bread, pizza, etc. I have celiac disease, and obviously I can´t eat wheat, but I also don´t eat gluten free bread. Your information is not clear. You know many thinks about industry, but you have to learn other things before share information wich can confuse people. Sorry for my english.
Un-molested host of wheat/corn products don’t carry the unknown strands of germ they call gluten.
Goes to the trouble of building air into egg whites….tap to remove air bubbles LOL
For the almond bread. Is the psyllium husk power a necessity for the recipe? Live in the uk and that stuff seems very difficult to get hold off from my research
Alvarado St. Sprouted Bread is great and very cheap at Grocery Outlet Bargain Market.
Schar bread was so slimy tasting. I was so disappointed when my dr told me to try going gluten free. I can’t eat okra so slimy does not work for me. Udi was a revelation but the prices are shocking.
Complete bottom water! It may be useful to do thorough research before engaging your mouth next time.
Dude, please stop publishing false information’s!
Gluten is NOT called so, because it’s like a food glue. The two words just sound similar by coincidence.
With that said, you are right about the gluten free product that are supposed to substitute normal products in our daily food. They’re mostly worse and unhealthy.
But here’s the thing. When you know how to cook and eat a lot of vegetables, potatoes, fish and rice… well there is nothing wrong with that!
Do don’t put it all in one box. If you want to be take serious, get the facts right.
Don’t you think you should provide your professional credentials in the notes section? Of course, most viewers would be unable to confirm it but, in the spirit of full disclosure, shouldn’t you have also addressed the issue of conflicting interests? In other words, do you (or anyone you care about) have any financial or emotional interests in anyone or any business that profits from the sale of products containing gluten?
The fact that you chose not to address these issues leads one to conclude that you expected to be appealing to credulous viewers. Consequently, one must question the veracity of everything you said.
For the oat honey bread, why is the yoghurt necessary. I’m vegan so I’m having to replace the egg with aqua faba as it is. What does the yoghurt do for it? Thanks, nik
as somone who has alot of food limitations i love that you put alot of different options thank you
Great recipe; thanks! My bread however turned out to be a bit dry. Any advise?
Microwaving on low softens gluten bread to a fresh baked texture. So, if you don’t enjoy toasted bread, give that a try.
I am gluten intolerant as soon as I eat gluten I get muscle spasms cramps tearing muscles numbness just from one bite don’t tell me gluten free bread is worse!!!! As soon as I stopped eating gluten and wheat I started to be able to walk again it almost paralysed me
It’s not gonna kill you folks, oh but it’s chemical, so what? unless you over-eat anything you eat, if you do, even organic food can kill you too!
i can’t believe this video got 9,000 views and people even arguing about it.
you can make your own bread with coconut oil, plenty of fiber and nutrition and you add non gmo xantham gum, which is a pollysaccharide. you need more training on bio-chemistry and on long and medium chain sugars. I do agree half of the breads are crap, but if you make it yourself you will be ok.
stick to quinoa, buckwheat and you can make flour out of them with a mill, also incorporate coconut flour.
I make my own bread from Flaxseed, don’t have to worry about those stuff.
you obviously don’t know much at all about gluten free flours or the gluten free lifestyle because if you did, you wouldn’t even have made this video because it really makes you look ignorant to the core.
Gluten is not an allergen, thus, it is impossible to be allergic to it.
If you have Celiac disease or a gluten intolerance, just don’t eat it.
But don’t claim to be allergic which is much more serious as far as exposure is concerned.
You can be around it, touch it, there is no worry of cross contamination, you could bathe in Gluten if you want, just don’t ingest it.
Of course the Gluten free industry wants their customers as paranoid and hysterical as possible so they can profit.
Hey, it’s not true the ezekezel bread has the organic sprouted soyabean and wheat fresh yeast…. this makes this bread gluten bread
Here in UK i cant get any decent bread, im type 2, iv heard Sourdough is good. Thanks, good video
you’re an idiot. they don’t extract nothing from anything using a chemical process lol. Look at your own Arabic background and all the bread type of products that are made from bean flours and such, it’s just naturally that way. There’s no “extraction” going on lol What kind of lies are you pushing?
Would you do a video in Sprouts if they have one in your area?
I agree that we should not be eating wheat products. I’ve heard this in many venues from highly reputable doctors. I’m currently between the stages of completely eliminating wheat products from my diet and replacing it with something that is not harmful and instead healthy for me and interested members of my family. I’m leaning toward buckwheat flour as of today. I hope to find other good substitutes soon.
The one bread you showed has cane sugar in it. That’s not good to have when you’re fighting immune problems or cancer.
i dont think thomas delauer would approve most of these breads Bobby recommended like Dave Killers bread
Hey Bobbie check out simplekneads.com for an amazing GF bread. Iv’e never had a super healthy bread that tasted so awesome.

carbs in sprouted is not much different from any other bread.
Healthy and bread does not belong in the same phrase
This was great, but unfortunately they all contained eggs…:(
thank u always. Ur videos changed my life. I cannot thank u enough. I just wonder if u have ever done any research about ancient flour and bread made with it. Due to a lot of gmos and new proteins created by that, i believe people including myself

I was wondering if you had an opinion about the European countries breads.I heard their food policies are more stricter there making there food better & not as manipulated with. I found this bread known as Manchester bread made from Germany in my Walmart. I know this sounds stupid but would this bread be okay since it is from a European country?
