I have worked out with Jessica for some time. Like the variety -I can choose which days to really push myself. Two weeks ago I broke my foot. The doctor says I can do low impact but walking really hurts. Today I did this workout. Wow! Sneaky challenge is right. Worked up a sweat and could modify to protect my foot. Thank you Jessica Smith.
This was a delightful surprise-gentle and flowing, yes, and yet I got “sparkly” and have room to grow with some of those balance moves I don’t have down yet. Thank you for something different, especially if my energy or emotions need a boost.
This is an outstandingly deceptive video. You may think it is easy, but think again. As a former Pilates mat instructor and one who’s been participating in mat Pilates & Reformer for some time now and over 60, this is the best fusion small space no equipmet video I’ve found to date. I also have a variety of physical issues from years of practicing other forms of vigorous physical exercise that were too impactful for my body. This gentle form of exercise was perfect, calming and not simple at all. Well done Jessica. Give us more!!!!
Love this workout! Haven’t done it in a while, glad I did it! My legs were still sore from yesterday’s workout, but I was able to do all the leg work today. Day 23 (although behind!) of the Calm and Strong Plan completed!

This is a great workout for late in the day when you want to do something but don’t want to bother with equipment or bouncing around. I really like this one! Also I’ll note I have a sore shoulder and neck from overdoing arms recently and this workout was great for loosening and stretching that area.

After I did this video I thought OK, this is good for the days I want to take it easy. Yet the next day both my triceps and glutes were a little sore! Very sneaky & effective.
Your workouts help me so much and I needed this one today. Had a really hard surgery last year and your videos helped me get back to working out again slowly when I was finally able to. Even though I’m doing well 1 year out, depression and lack of energy have been unwanted companions. Listening to the wisdom of my body and honoring how hard it is working does help. This was perfect for me today, as I was not feeling up to an intense workout after the first 3 days of this series. I appreciate the thought put into the sequence of these workouts from day to day. It keeps me coming back for more without anxiety, knowing that i will be challenged at times, but also knowing there will be more easeful days, and, no matter which, there will be grace.
Day 4 of the #JanuaryJumpstart Challenge and what a wonderfully relaxing way to start my day. I feel calm and chilled and ready to hit my desk. So good to be reminded that every workout we do doesn’t have to be tough and these gentle routines are so good for us. Namaste everyone
Still doing the January 2019 jump start. I noticed that earlier today, when I did my weekend chores, it was a little easier. I was less winded with less low back pain. Sometimes I have an asthma attack, or have to sit down and start back up again with the chores several times. Not today! I was still sweaty and a little winded and still had some low back pain after them but was okay. And then I waited several hours and did this work out! Sticking with the healthy changes. I love how this had a big focus on balance. I have weak hips and legs and this was tricky but I kept a chair handy to lean on and modified as I went to be able to finish it gently.
Great workout perfect pace. I’m 53 and this was comfortably challenging. Thank you so much your stretching video filmed outside is my all time favourite too.

I did this yesterday and my arms are so sore from those light weight moves! I enjoyed this class and her calm spirit.
Nice workout but I would recommend it for older people and for those who have never worked out before and want to try a workout that moves very slow with min. exercises. I love the idea of yoga and barre but this was way to slow, with minimal exercises, and too much explaining and chatter for my taste. With that said, I do appreciate that POPSUGAR does have all different kinds of workouts.

This class provides a series of exercises that intensifies traditional yoga, but it didn’t energize me as much as, say, a power vinyasa yoga. I would have liked a little more flow to the postures and some more intense leg work. It was a good change of pace from my usual workouts, though, so thank you!

This is good for a day when you want to do something, but not anything too stressful or rough on the body. It will make you feel like you did something, but nothing too demanding.

I love the combination of yoga and barre, but I felt there was too much downtime in this workout and I needed to do another workout afterwards to compensate. If the instructor had gone faster, not taken such long breaks between moves, incorporated more moves into the workout, and done a few more reps, (basically, if the instructor had increased the intensity) this would have been a great workout. I would suggest this for people who are beginners or want a really light workout day.

perfect for my rest day! I work out everyday but, one of the seven days needs to be lighter work to allow my body to recover and this was so fitting! For everyone who works out all the time, devote one of your daily sessions to stretching or yoga it has really helped me stay strong.
Love this channel, but there is a lack of diversity. I’ve done maybe two videos with black trainers, other than that the entire group on screen is always white. Representation is important, POPSUGAR Fitness. Please get with it.

I had to fast forwarded at 5 minutes because of talking, and breaks. I had such high hopes for this video. Oh well…..

Maybe the hand weights were decent but the teacher’s yoga form was awful, anyone can be a yoga teacher I guess. Popsugar has had better yoga instructors.
I liked it; good for when you want more than normal yoga, but not something strenuous. I’d recommend watching the video first to see the moves if you don’t already know yoga, since they’re not really described.

I was looking for training videos on strengthening the knees, since I’m an endurance runner and I found one of your videos. It was so well done, that I thought I would check out some of the other stuff on your channel, which led me to here. I have to say, I really enjoy your work and it inspires me to branch out and add different training methods to my current calisthenics work. This, in particular, was an amazing workout and I’ve never thought of giving anything like it a try before. I really hope you continue making training and workout videos with her and I will be watching to see what else you and your fellow trainers will be bringing to the channel in the future. I used to do ballet for almost 9 years but quit due to life getting too hectic. Started going into fitness and gym-based exercises instead to keep an active lifestyle but I do miss dancing. i did it i will do this 2 times a week i do joanna sho,blowflex,robertas gym and more 7 days a week now i an doing 4 challenge……love your workout thank you tammi
I loved it. It was low impact and yet made my legs quiver and sweat! I enjoyed it very much!
I had a really long, all day conference and was feeling completely drained mentally and sluggish physically after too many coffee break snacks. This was perfect to move me to a better energy space, get a tiny sweat on but mostly just enjoy a bit of blood flow after a day of sitting.
I have been eating chocolate in bed and feel this may be the wrong time to stretch

I feel like this was a lot of sitting/standing around with a few minutes here and there of working out. Good if you are looking for something super laid back though! For an active rest day
