Definitely had this happen to me on week 3. I felt so good and energized. My joint pain and body aches went away after 3 weeks. I was no longer swollen, my bowl movements became regular, my skin cleared, my heavy painful periods went away, my depression and anxiety left. So many things I can say. I was scared in the beginning bc I lived my entires life eating meat. But, let’s just say when you’re hungry that’s when you become creative with recipes and won’t starve. I also lost 15 lbs my first month with no effort.

I haven’t converted to veganism yet but removing meat and processed foods from my diet has really been good for my health. I guess you can say I’m a vegetarian. I lost my belly and about 30lbs. Lowered cholesterol to normal levels, normal blood pressure, etc.
It’s just a little expensive to eat healthy but it’s worth it. Whole Food, Amazon Trader Joe’s and Juhub.com are great options to find good deals but I prefer Juhub.com though. I discovered a lot of unknown but good brands there. Seriously, eat healthy while young. You won’t have to deal with the health drama that comes when you’re older.

Im only 14 and i am new to this. I have been vegetarian for about 2 weeks. I always didn’t feel great about eating meat and after eating better foods i felt better about my self. I dont eat much junk food anymore either.

Hey!! I love your video it was amazing and insightful. I gave up meat a few days ago, I got to the point where I was so angry and upset at myself for allowing myself to digest animals knowing the pain and suffering they go through, as well as the dangerous effects it can have on your body. I was so brainwashed by people around me saying that meat is the only way especially for athletes etc which makes no sense to me personally… Last week I learnt that the cows in the field near me were crying for their baby calfs which broke my heart and finally I gave in and decided to give up meat. I’m not allowed to use Parmesan anymore because there’s animal rennet. I would have to find a different way to make the pasta but I loved all of the recipes! You go chef if up

Um… So my family isn’t taking me seriously, and they try not to laugh and say so your not going to eat any bacon or steak or porkchops? But my mom is a little more understanding. Sour of
I’m 320…lbs….
Because I to eat vegan since 2012…slowly but surely and my weight has gone down and maintained….from 340lbs
But I didn’t stop eating meat unfortunately until March 2020 and now its been 3.5months no meat.
I still eat cheese,yogurt, sourcream, but I also started taking vitamins and minerals daily and I see the difference in my energy and thinking and feeling…it feels not as delicious as junk food or meat but it feels better with knowledge.
And my fitness pal…and some excercise like 10m a day or 2x a week. Makes a difference. I’m still a big girl….but my weight is going down.
Its like my brain has transformed into the excellent being that I am, I feel great and alive, plus this wasn’t never easy to do, but just the fact of knowing knowledge, really helps alot. Because its true, you are what you eat.
And maybe from cutting off sweets and fast food, which deep down inside I was never really a fan of, just once in a blue moon.
I forced myself to do research from seeing vegans look young and move freely at older ages with not to much pain problems or disabilities.
And slowly cutting certain things out of my life, has proven my epilepsy to go down tremendously…now since really have been eating healthy more now for a year…and even the few months now completely almost vegan, because I will admit I do eat tuna fish and shrimp, and eggs and cheese… but I drink almond milk only.
I increased my seizures and honestly I think it’s because my body is not used to eating healthy foods or limiting portions….but I noticed I had like seizures in the last 3months…which is alot but not to many…
I eat /drink protein shakes, if I get hungry, lots of tea, different kinds like sleep tea,chai tea, eucalyptus tea, peppermint tea, ginger, blueberries tea, kombucha, green tea caffeinated and non caffeinated, turmeric tea, spearmint tea, stress relief tea and I add apple cider vinegar to most of my teas.
I usually drink them hot, or room temperature. And I drink caffeine really early like 4AM to 10AM only….after 10AM no caffeine and I only have caffeine 1or2 a week. I mostly drink non caffeinated….
If I want engery after 10, I will drink mostly vitamin B drinks from Amway….which are natural and healthy for me….
But I won’t lie, I definitely have a sweet tooth once a month….but since this whole change a year ago and the Coronavirus…I better self control now. It feels positively great.
I’m still 320 even though I never drove a car in my life, I walk every where…and I really don’t eat to bad….so I don’t know why, I’m still big…but I am pretty healthy…for a plus size woman….if I could just lose the bottom stomach or the 3belly…then I would probably be considered really healthy….but just that part of me really has to go.
Eating healthy food is the best solution for life living…and look young and do younger be young…
So I just say meat is not worth it unless we are cave men or the end of the world with no food and to survive….but everyone has a choice, and really eating animals is almost no different from eating human pets….
Just like this guy said on YouTube he came into this classroom and he’s told with this little beautiful puppy it was a puppy remember that all the people in the classroom to East to photocopy anybody want to eat this puppy everybody was looking at the teacher like he was crazy and then he said raise your hand if you would not eat this cute puppy pretty much the whole classroom raise their hands what is the difference to eating his puppy compared to eating regular meat to there animals that have brains they live life just like the puppy does they can be trained to we humans prefer to hurt them and kill them and so when I saw that video like 6 years ago 7 years ago I really woke me up and ever since then I’ve learned to have respect for Animals more even though I used to think vegans or vegetarians for crazy people well you never know until you try and that’s what I did I force myself to try and I force myself to see the results for myself that’s exactly what I did and now it’s showing….
I know I eat tuna but it’s not real tuna imitated tuna just to keep that as a no but I do eat fish only because God did, but I’m trying too, maybe not eat fish either….but I’m getting there, slowly but surely….one day I will be a complete 100% vegan. Vegetarians can still eat fish. Its vegans that eat no meat, fish or consume any animal products (dairy etc) so you could of had the sushi

Love your channel. I’ve been vegan about 7 months now. I became vegan when my body began rejecting meats and dairy products. My family is not vegan so it makes it hard on me when I have to cook for my family that loves meat then cook meals for myself with no meats and no dairy. It’s just draining for me being the only one cooking. Many days I cook for my family and miss a meal here and there for myself. I really need to learn how to meal prep for myself. I think I ordered your cookbook off amazon electronically. But I think I need to order a hard copy book so I can take my time and go through it and mark good recipes that I can prepare in advance maybe once a week to make things easier for me. Veganism interests me honestly and I’m tempted to try it mostly for my acne and because i want to be healthier in general.
Might seem kinda stupid but the reason I want to become vegetarian is because I watched The Lorax and it makes me sad how we treat the environment and the animals.
I think most vegans look and act effortlessly thin. I know that is not the case for some, but it is just my belief and impression. I really do want to veganize my diet, not necessarily my lifestyle. At the very least, I have the flexitarian thing down pat and I don’t have to really think much about being objectively slim now. With regularly incorporated animal products, I did seem to try a lot harder to slim down.
So I’ve been a vegetarian my whole life and I’ve always known it’s benefits, be it ethically or biologically. (I’m currently 18)
But only now, have I really been evaluating my diet properly, looking at how high my carb intake is, or can be. Because of the reliance us vegetarians have on carbs. And the whole high carb vs low carb diet, is a debate in its self. But it does make me question things. Tbh I could actually ramble for a long time about my vegetarianism so what was gonna be a long explorative message, I might just leave here .
But I will add, I’d never thought about how the ‘meatless’ substitutes I’d been eating were actually really processed and probably not good for me.

I’ve been a vegetarian for 4 years. I was a vegan for the first year, making my journey a total of five years.
I couldn’t do vegan and it was a heartbreaking realization AT THE TIME, but I gave it my all. I finally had to conclude that unless you grow and prepare all your own food, it’s probably unlikely that many who call themselves vegan, actually are. There was always a new ingredient in something that I’d later discover was of the flesh etc. and all pleasure in life was gone. Eating became a chore and I became a b****, bc I was always hungry and frustrated. I couldn’t eat out with other people bc the standard fare at most places of a nonvegan nature was French fries or a boring salad, and it upset me that in order to eat out with others, I had to overpay for bs boring food that I was sick to death of.
True enough…that most problems were prob bc I went straight vegan day one, and I hadn’t learned how to eat as a vegan before going vegan. But even though I’m a professional (lol) vegetarian now, I won’t even consider going vegan. It was a nightmare. Vegetarian is fine with my conscience. Really, the only change from vegan to vegetarian for me, is that I no longer care if there’s dairy in my processed foods, or foods that other people prepare. That alone changed my life from vegan misery to a lifestyle I can live with.

No one says you have to go 100% vegan all at once. If you’re doing it for health or environmental reasons and sometimes you just crave cheese it’s totally ok to have cheese on occasion, or whatever your guilty pleasure is. If you eat plant based most of the time it’s definitely better than eating meat and dairy at every meal.

Idk, I’ve eaten a lot of meat in my life (I’m mexican) I love protein but I do have alot of it, im gonna try to work out at least 3 times a week for 1+ hours and yeah let’s see how far I go. For someone like me who is thinking of trying and starting vegan diet, this video is so informative. I tend to be that person who starts a “diet” and restricts everything and by the end fail miserably i was also that person who judged someone that was vegan saying “how is the rabit life treating you” and was not educated enough to really understand what being a vegan is like. I feel terrible now for even saying that to someone and now im going to try this to see how my body will react to this. And im actually really excited about it!

I was vegetarian for 2 years when I was about 14 years old. It is true, you do lose weight, skin is cleaner and you just feel like you have so much energy. Now, I’ve not eaten meat for 10 days. I actually only ate chicken and fish, but had few days without meat during the week, but I cut off meat totally now. It’s only been a few days and I feel better.

I would like to come out as a vegan and the why power is always for the animals. I feel sad that cattle getting tortured for the sake of milk I don’t know I feel cows are the most innocent creatures and the pain of the cow when her new born calf is separated from her so that her milk can be turned to money I feel so sad for them. If a woman’s mood can make changes in her breastmilk what is the nutrition that we are even gonna have from a cows breastmilk whose feelings have been hurt by taking away her new born calf. In Greece we have many vegetarian foods and recipes but no many vegetarian Junk food. Vegetarians must forget the simulations of their favorite foods. We have some vegetarian junk food but vegetarian hot dogs and generally that kind of food is something that someone can find rarely only in the biggest sitys of Greece.

I love the salad; I have to try it! I make a vegetarian lasagna. It takes a little bit of time but it’s worth it. Here what I do:
I roast all of the vegetables first. Egg plant, yellow squash, zucchini, red bell peppers, kale, red onion, and carrots. Sauté the kale in garlic and olive oil. Cut the vegetables about 1in. Season to your taste and spray with olive oil. Roast until tender. Starting with the eggplant plant and begin to layer the other vegetables. I use ricotta cheese in my layers but top the lasagna with an Italian blend. As for the sauce I love Paul Newman’s. Bake until hot.

Im so confused when people say that vegan food is bland??? I have a ton of food allergies and it includes all dairy products sadly. Means to an addition to my wheat and other allergies I cant really go out to eat really. But BOY Give me a pan and some veggies Ill cook something delicious for you and it will be most of the times vegan since I dont really need eggs in my dishes. In the olden days, a civilation was not considered evolved is it did not have any olives or olive oil. You were told that you could not gather fat under a vegetarien diet without olives or olive oil. How much truth is there to this? Newborn children live, by the liquid fat there is in your mountains. So my curiosity has been definately woken up.

Eggs and dairy. NO meat or fish (this is me XD)
Pescatarian (Pescetarian)
You don’t eat meat but you eat fish
Pollotarian.
No flesh of any red meat animals, but does include chicken, turkey etc. they may exclude dairy, eggs and seafood (up to person)
Flexitarian.you are very flexible, semi vegetarian you eat meat occasionally (its up to you how often you eat meat)
I personally just began to look at meat different and excluded it out of my diet but you have to match the type of vegetarian to your diet. My family and I (I am a minor) we do eat eggs and dairy which is why I am a Lactoovo.
Be happy and know your morals, keep your head up high and educate yourself.
PS: I put a lot of effort into writing this, but please, please, please do your own research I just wanted to list different types of vegetarianism.

You don’t need to buy organic fruits and vegetables. They have done studies on them and found at there is no difference in terms of nutrition. Plus they use pesticides on organics too. Do your research don’t get fooled by these organic labels.

Excellent video and great advice and suggestions. I try to eat as much of whole plants foods because I don’t feel as hungry after eating them but I do with processed junk food (which is fake foods).
Add toasted walnuts to that pasta!!! Evaporated skim milk ot almond milk with low fat cream cheese will lower the calories of that cream sauce.
I think being vegan is the right choice if you don’t believe in human exceptionalism. Life should be valued on the level of sentience of the life. Veganism is not only the healthier choice it’s the moral choice. I’m a hardcore meat eater myself but I’m really considering veganism

I’m 12I told my family today that I want to be vegetarian. My brother laughed at me but my parents are supportive. Right now its for a week to see how I cope. Im scared for when I spend a lot of my summer with my grandma and other family living there without my parents they will think I went mad. Please help Im from the middle of Europe and Im scared because my family there is a bit judgy
i gave up all meat apart from chicken a few years ago and my mum thought i was really fussy but it was actually because i found out pork came from a pig (i didnt like seafood/fish/other red meat) but stopped after about a year, but now i really want to become properly vegetarian but ik my mum will be mad coz she’ll have to cook more than one meal again:(

Honestly. This will trigger some but I do hunt. There’s opinions on it and that’s perfect. But, I’m having health problems, I can’t seem to loose any of the weight since I had a baby, I feel like I’m getting fatter and I’m extremely unfit and unhappy. I tried a vegan diet for a few days and felt better, saw some results with my body & then I fell off the wagon and I’m feeling it. I’m back, and I’m wanting to really get into it.

I saw a Now This episode where they acquired video footage of animal abuse in slaughter houses. The animals were punched in the face, kicked in the head, thrown against walls and there were also reports of animal RAPE. Also, a lot of animals break their legs or get hurt in transit and suffer tremendously before they are slaughtered. I no longer eat meat. NOTHING has to suffer & die for me to live. I actually want to make changes that move our society towards a harmonious Garden of Eden. @

Everyone else on here is all giving the same generic advice that I already know and already have been doing for years “Drink lots of water” “No soft drinks” “exercise everyday” etc. Finally different advice for those who actually NEED advice! You said you don’t add black pepper and salt, black pepper is just because it doesn’t agree with your blood type but would you recommend it otherwise?
I stopped eating animals a year ago but I usually eat rice, beans, pastas, french fríes and veggies and fruit tho the last two don’t fill me up so I generaly get full with Carbs . Also I can’t stop drinking coke ☠️.

I want to become vegan for two reasons. I want to eat healthier, have a better diet and also idk but maybe it’ll help my skin be healthy and clear♀️. And also I don’t want to support the meat industries. I watch a lot of videos about how these animals are treated and it’s horrible. I mean I like eating meat but before it was on my plate it was a living, feeling thing that suffered just so I could eat it, when all we needed to do is eat plant based foods and it would have lived. it breaks my heart to see these animals be killed in such cruel ways. And these industries create a lot of pollution so ya. Anyways I say all of this but tbh I’ll prob still be eating meat even tho I want to change that❤️this was great advice btw I’ll use it one day.✌

Hello love your video I have decided to cut only meat out of my Life as well it has been seven days My goal is to go for a month and see how I feel I still eat everything else dairy things like that but I have one meal of a cheese vegetable pizza or fettuccine vegetable pasta and garlic bread and for the rest of the day I have smoothies 1 or two they are either a vegetable smoothie or a fruit smoothie I’m excited to get to the end of the month to see how I feel right now so far I feel fine it was challenging the first couple days and now it seems very easy I guess it’s because I still eat everything else just nothing with meat in it or meet at all Glad Iran into your video

Oils are the enemy for sure! Whole unprocessed foods are the only way to eat!

I was eating meat while watching this video but I can’t enjoy it anymore because i saw a documentary a couple days ago about factory farming and how they butcher them to meat. When I saw this i became really dizzy and almost had to throw up. From that day to now I always imagined a bleeding pig while I ate meat so I want to become a vegetarian soon. I think my friends are cool with that. My parents idk, my dad was a vegetarian once but that was a looooong time ago and my mother cooks often with meat. IDK wish me luck guys.

Stopped eating meat just today ❤️ I started feeling sick even when I smelled meat. When my family went to McDonald’s on a road trip I didn’t eat a bite because I felt like I was gonna throw it up. The next day I tried eating meat to see if it was me being sick or if it was really the meat and no. It was the meat I threw it all up. I realized today how many foods/ soups that I have that all have meat in them and looking at them makes me wanna throw up. I’m happy now tho

Actually I think that foods that make you fat are not healthy. A human being cannot consume the fat that stores on his body.. We are not bears to “eat” fron this fat during winter time.. So if a food makes you gain fat, it’s not considered to be healthy. Milk from nuts is ok..

Before when I ate meat it would constantly give me stomach infections. Making me throw up for hours and I wouldn’t be able to eat for 5 days after that. So I ditched the meat and I haven’t gotten a sickness like that since. Haven’t gotten sick at all actually. I also gained the weight back on that I lost to much of when I used to eat meat. That was almost 2 years ago
I’ve been vegan for about 3 years, and am struggling so much with losing weight. I think I eat very healthy, I cook at home mostly, but I do go out to eat a few times a week, and my portions are definitely over the top. I workout at least 5 days a week, but I am still overweight, and at the same weight I was a few years back. I literally have been trying to lose weight since I was 14 years old ( I am 24 now). It is so so frustrating and upsetting, but I am going to try and listen to your advice, especially about being hyper hungry because all I think about is FOOD FOOD FOOD. Definitely subscribing! All the splicing leaves this video with the feeling something is missing. I spent 5 years as a vegetarian, and I would love to finally just dive in and go vegan, so I’m not anti-vegan at all. I’m just honest with myself about things. If I were here to spread anti-vegan hateful speech, I would list the blips in this video as a reason to not pay attention to it’s message. I think we can do better than this with the vegan message.
But what about the pesticides and fertilizers produced for and used in growing conventional produce that are so destructive to the environment and water systems? I can’t easily afford eating organic, but I make it happen if I budget and buy the non-brand name options that are still organic.

My husband is vegetarian since he was 4years old. When I started dating him, I was eating meat, but slowly I transitioned to vegetarian diet during 6 years and I am vegetarian almost a year now. We have 2yo son, who is vegetarian too.
Since beginning of this year, we started to eat more beans and less cheese and almost no eggs (we eat eggs only when my parents gave them to us, they have chickens and they are taking care of them with love)
Honestly, I never felt better. I always had problems with my weight and how I lost all my pregnancy weight and I am loosing more and more without starving.
I know that this is food choice to stay healthy and more environmentally friendly and I do not have to eat those cute animals.
