I made these this afternoon. I added garlic powder. I thought I put too much in but I can’t really taste it much. I think I’ll definitely sprinkle with some salt next time. I really missed crackers!
Will be a nice treat for me, and a great treat for the dog, too. Good ingredients for our four legged friends.
I have to try this one day You got yourself a new Norwegian subscriber today
So I’m about to make this but am wondering if the macros you listed in the description box is per serving or for the whole batch? Thanks so much!
I wonder if we can use the powdered ranch or powdered cheddar cheese for the flavor!!
I can’t thank you enough for this recipe!! I made it tonight and it came out perfect and so delicious! Just when I was craving something crunchy and perfect to dip into spinach dip. Awesome channel!
Awesome Thank you so so much. Wanted crackers for my Keto Tuna. Yum! Can’t wait! Thanks Mr Awesome!!
OH MY Steve! LOVE YOU! LOVE YOUR MAD SCIENCE SKILLS!! Now that the good stuff is out of the way… I am trying to ‘support’ You by at least watching the STUPID ads whether they deserve it or not, cuz You do. But someone needs to tell youtube 50 YES count them 5 0 MINUTES is NOT an ‘ad’, its a movie!!! This is the 3rd time I’ve tried to watch so You will get a quarter of a cent or whatever… 30 secs OH YEAH! Can Do! 1.30-2 minutes… Maybe… 50 MINUTES!!! H__ NO!! Not for anyone at any price! Unless they are paying me $20-50 an hr to watch! Sorry! Love has a price 😉
Just made these and they turn out great, I don’t have flax seed so i use 1.5 tsp everything but beagle seasoning and didn’t add the salt, and somehow the dough is a bit wet, so I added 1 tsp coconut flour. Over all great recipe, will play with it and see.
I finally made these yesterday and they are phenomenal!! Crispy as promised and they hold up really well to dips etc. Thank you for the experimentation that I’m sure was involved!
I made these earlier today. Really liked the texture and crispness of these crackers however I over did it with the salt. Also, it might be the eggs I have, but the egg flavor really came out in these unfortunately, which isn’t what I was going for. Is there another way I can bind the dough without the eggs. Would xanthan gum work? Any suggestions?
Serious keto, please tell me a vegan substitute for egg. Thank you.
OMG! Can’t wait to try this recipe! I LOVE crackers and sesame flavor! Love you channel, Steve! I’ve been binge watching you for an hour now!: )
I made these today…they were great! I will definitely be making these again and again. Thank you for the recipe!
LOL thank you so much:) I’m eventually going vegan but its been hard especially the cheese It would be easier if everyone in the family was but at least their willing to reduce their dairy its a start:)
Could you melt a little mozzarella on them after baking? Or smoothe some softened brie on them?
Everything bagel seasoning instead of sesame seeds and salt.
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I was about to “invest” in low carb crackers that would have cost me $5-7 for a 7 serving box. Thankfully I found your recipe right on time!!! They came out AMAZING!!! I did however made a couple small modifications, since I did not have sesame seeds, I swapped it for 2 tbsp of hemp seeds and 1 tbsp of chia seeds. I also added italian seasonings and garlic powder to the mixture and topped it off with parmesan cheese on the last 10 minutes. They cooked perfectly in the 20 mins. Again thank you so much. You have a new subscriber here.
and, only make as many as you want to eat, like Lays, you can’t eat just one:-)
She’s adorable! lol These look great and I have been wanting to try flax seeds, especially because I’m vegan. btw I love these healthy foods vids and anything fattening you cook as well! lol
I read a couple of the comments complaining about the music added to the video. I didn’t seem to mind it or find it distracting. As a YouTube video creator myself I have had similar responses to the music added to some of my videos. Even if the volume is at the perfect level someone will say that they hate the choice or style of music used. I’ve also come to the conclusion that it’s best to just omit the music if it isn’t essential. I watched this video when you first posted it but now I came back to watch it again because I’m ready to make it. I think I’m going to add onion powder to it. I’ll let you know how it turns out. I hope my sesame seeds aren’t too old. Keep up the great videos Steve.
Steve, have been eating these weekly since you posted video! Amazing. Loved them so much that I took out the salt, added 2 tbl swerve brown sugar, rolled out a little thicker than the cracker.. ended up with an amazing biscotti-type biscuit!
Steve, my husband made these crackers yesterday and they are awesome! Thanks for the recipe.
These were delicious! Perfectly crunchy and easy to make. Thanks so much!
Love your channel, Steve! I’ve been keto for about 6 weeks and your story helped me get started. I’ve tried several of your recipes and they have been great! Keep doing what you’re doing! Love your honesty. I’ve read where many people say you sound like Johnny Carson but I think you sound like Mike Rowe, especially with your sense of humor. Anyway, I made the cracker recipe once and used Everything But The Bagel and they turned out too salty for me. Doing a second batch now without adding the salt and I think they will be perfect! One question though, how the heck do you roll out a rectangle!?! I keep getting an oval!
Steve, Loved this! I am gonna mess around with this recipe for sure! Thanks Music sounds like classical clown music…why not just a real classical version…
Tried lots of recipes and this one is the BEST. Can you please try Lupin flour recipes?
This would also be very good as a breakfast cereal. Cook regular, without spices, and crumble in a bowl then add unsweetened almond milk and a little Monk Fruit. A morning breakfast cereal.
I’m not really a fan of the texture of seeds and nuts in things like crackers or bread, though I don’t mind the taste. Do you know if it would it still work if I ground the seeds/nuts a bit in a food processor first, or what I need to change the amounts? Thanks!
You threw me with the microwave, smh…I didn’t know they were still being made
Just Wow is all I can say. I know this is a little older video, but I just made these crackers tonight. Had to add a little garlic powder of course, cos I love garlic, but I can not believe how fantastic they are! These would be a favorite for anyone, regardless of their eating lifestyle. Thanks so much for this recipe Steve… I’ve searched all over for a good keto cracker. This will be a staple from now on.
Just took a batch out of the oven. Can’t wait for them to cool. I did not have cooking spray, however, so I left that out. What kind of cooking spray do you use, by the way? I hate the idea of putting Pam directly on my food. Did you use olive oil cooking spray?
Has anyone tried doing this using silicon mats instead of parchment paper.
Delicious and so crunch satisfying! I add poppy seeds, dehydrated minced garlic and chia seeds. You can mix it up to make all sorts of flavours. This is in my weekly recipe rotation.
I have made these numerous times, and love them Thanks for the recipe. I took them to a party today since I knew a keto friend would be there, and that there would be lots of cheese and crackers. She loved them, and others there did as well, and asked for the receipt. Now I need to try some of the variations.
Here’s a question. Well more like idea. What if you blended the mixture to make the seeds more fine. It would be more like a chip I think once you make it.
I make at least a batch a week. My wife loves them! A few modifications; I add a few teaspoons of raw organic chia seeds, and some turmeric powder, and I’ve been setting it at 277F and am up to 90 minutes (always crispy!). I also fold and store the parchment paper for reuse.
I has happy that I figured out how to get them round!!:) My Hubby loves these!! 😉
Joe ever thought of writing a cook book with your fantastic recepies?
Could you use Hemp or Chia seeds in place of flax seeds? Flax is inflammatory to my body and can not use them.
Thank you, SK for making this recipe and video.I will try these my next cool morning, Bonnie
Definitely going to try these. I have sesame butter, and not seeds, so think
I’ll try that variation. Less by measure, because its ground, for sure. Terrific! Thanks!
Outstanding MS Anne. those and some cheese. off the block BIG Yes from me!
Hi thanks so much for this. Quick question I thought that you need to have the flax seed grounded, as we cannot digest the whole seed properly as the outer shell is too hard and just passes out without giving the benefit. Thoughts?
Update. I tasted them they’re a bit dry. And they need something. I even toasted my sesame seeds in the frying pan before adding them to the mix. I think some seasoning or maybe adding some everything but the bagel seasoning to these? Would definitely improve the flavor. The texture wasn’t bad considering I hate almond flour. Maybe I could roll them even thinner although I doubt it cuz some of them started to really Brown and overcook around the edges. Definitely need to play with these but they’re on my list of go to crackers. Thanks Steve.
I just made these and they came out wonderful. I used Toasted Sesame seeds which was what I could find in the store. You mentioned using ROASTED sesame seeds. I see both Roasted and Toasted on amazon (i’m now going to order a bigger bulk package since i know i’m going to make these often:) Is there a difference between the 2. Do they have a different flavor?
I can’t stomach fat head dough, what could you add so the almond flour won’t taste so over powering?
Ewwww I did not like these, I actually tried to scrape it off my tongue it was so bad LOL
So I just attempted these and got mixed results. The video says 1/2 cup seeds to 1/4 cup water and to roll into one layer of seeds thin. The written recipe says 1 cup seeds to 1/2 cup of water. You can’t roll that thin enough without squeezing it out of your parchment paper so the center of mine were like rubber while the very edges were crispy. Also, parchment paper holds moisture so while they cooled they got wet underneath. Yuck. I did score them with a skewer and that worked well. I like things salty so I spritzed them with water, salted with popcorn salt, then spritzed again to melt the salt and that tastes great. Right now I have the rubbery ones back in the oven to dry on foil.
I bought flackers? Yuck. Went in the garbage. Will try this. Ty.
Fantastic recipe! I used it today and my husband loved it. Seasoned with Applewood smoked cracked pepper and garlic powder. I subbed Ghee for the Cooking Spray part and it was fantastic! Thank you!
The recipe says it makes 6 servings but how much is a serving that equals the 3 net carbs
What’s about doing a rif on Trader Joe’s Norwegian Seed bread???
used sunflower seeds instead of flax seed. You should try this. It really worked.
Nice! I’ve missed crackers!!! I’m definitely making these tonight! Thanks
I like hemp seeds in my crackers. You can also do fathead dough crackers and you get them crisp by putting them in a food dehydrator.
Brenda, this is SO YUMMY. Thanks for uploading this video. I made this today. Love it! How do you keep your Silpat liners so clean? Mine looks like it caught on fire and it wont come clean. haha.
I am a new subscriber… I made these this evening, crisp and delicious! THANK YOU!!
Loved it, I crave chips like crazy because of the crunch. Thank you!! XD
Did you roast your own sesame seeds, I don’t remember seeing roasted sesame seeds in the supermarket?
Best way to store these? Fridge? Counter? Will they lose their crispness in an airtight container?
I have these in the oven now as we speak. I had to laugh at the end when you aged yourself. I don’t know what banging means but he says it’s good LMAO
does it need seeds at all? would this work as just the base of flour and egg?
I have been making Chaffle and discovered that if you separate your egg and only use the white, it doesn’t taste eggy AT ALL
Outstanding MS Anne. those and some cheese. off the block BIG Yes from me!
I love these crackers. I chop up the flax seeds just a bit and add chia seeds. Tonight I made a batch with chili powder. So delish! Next batch, oregano, then next rosemary, then extra garlic ones (always put in a bit of onion and garlic powder but will make a specific garlic one), Italian seasoning, etc. etc. Many possibilities!
I am currently making my third batch of these. I added some garlic and onion powder. Then some sea salt on the top.
These look great.. unfortunately I can’t eat seeds. I’m wondering what I could add in to replace the seeds.
Will try this recipe. Enjoy your recipes! Many Thanks. Do have one suggestion: to post the ingredients in a list before the video OR when posting, allow enough time for one to write the ingredients and instructions down. But having said that: I do like your “to the point” and durations of your videos. So many YouTubers ramble on and one. Great presenter.
I don’t own a microwave. How else can I cook them? In an oven?
Thank you for all the great information you provide. THANK YOU!!! <3
I just made these. I have to tell you they are amazing! The flavor is incredible! Thank you for this recipe. Crackers are something we really missed and I’ll be making batches of these each week from now on.
I would use ground flax meal. Our
Digestive system is not equipped to break down the outer hull of the whole flax seed.
I love how simple this recipe is. The raw batter doesn’t taste like much, but once you cook these bad boys, pure Heaven!!:-)
Get the everything seasoning (its the topping they put on everything bagels) at costco. I put it in my chaffles and its so good.
Have these in the oven now. Only thing I did different was I added some butter powder. Had it sitting on the counter while making and thought it would be good. Hopefully it will give them a butter taste. They smell good baking. Will post pictures on instagram. Will #ketoconnect in my post. Thanks for sharing!
I’m going to try this but ground maybe a 1/4 of the flax seeds and then add the rest whole seeds.I don’t know maybe it won’t turn out right but gonna try.
I like to grind my own flax seeds. Once ground, they start to lose their nutrition!
I read / heard that flax seeds have to be ground to be beneficial to the diet.
That’s awful! U didn’t note, 275 is degree Celicuse or Fahrenheit ☹☹☹☹ all my ceakers burnt!!!!!!!!
It’s great to see sites like this that really help diabetics out! If you really want to see a doctor that knows what he’s talking about out of all the crap on YouTube, listen to the guy who invented the basil bolus method and distributed the first diabetic meters now 85 years old with over 1000 patients. His name is Dr. Richard Bernstein. A YouTube group called be diabetes turned me on to him and I will never forget them for doing it. I’ve been looking for 14 years to get my blood sugars under control and to know what disease I have and how to treat it and this guy is fantastic! My A-1 C was 8% and is now 5.5% as a type one diabetic thanks to Dr. Richard Bernstein! I don’t have the Lowe’s that I used to have because I don’t go as high as I used to go and I’m telling you I used to go in the 500s! I don’t do that anymore I never got over 120 and that’s too much. Normal blood sugars should be 83 mg/dL and he tells us how to do that and keep it up to have the lowest mortality rate in the world.
It’s midnight but this recipe was so easy I had to just make it and toss it in the fridge overnight. I’ve been wondering what to do with those flaxseeds because alone they have this oily odor/taste that I can’t vibe. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s outcome…
Hey, I just made these and they are great! But I did not want to use oven for an hour! I just rolled them between two parchment paper and put it in a indoor grill and they were ready in 10 minutes!
Curious why they are better than frackers as I haven’t had them before..
Yoooo thanks for this video! Literally bought a bag of flackers yesterday and loved em, and this video is gonna help my budget and my tummy!
How to prevent sticking to parchment paper? Is it too much water? I end up using non-stick Teflon but am not a fan of that.
wow, how simple….shared with some friends and family to see how they may like this.
Yay! This has been my go-to crackers for well over a year! The only thing I do different is when I spray the crackers halfway through the bake, I add some pink Himalayan salt. I make them just as the recipe says, because they are great! Even with guac, and, like you said, with cheese. as well. Think I need to go make a batch! Oh, and I take these to family gatherings with sliced cheese, and they go so fast with all of the non-keto WOE people.
Is 3 carbs for the whole recipe or for 6 servings (each serving)? Can I dry them out in a dehydrator?
I tried this recipe today and it was a hit with my kids. Even my daughter who is a fuzzies eater was happy to make more. Thank you.
Im so happy you enjoyed this recipe! Aren’t the Silpat Baking Mats the best? I just give then a quick wash and hang them to dry. How long have you had yours.. I have had mine I’d say 10-11 months!! I wonder if they wear out if they are older??
Anything is better when you make it yourself. That’s been my experience with things
Omgggg, cumin, new mexican green chili powder, onion pwdr, garlic powder, sea salt=heavenly chips!
I hope everyone uses organic…everything. these dayz food….isnt food
These absolutely are “The Best”. To once again enjoy that crunch I was missing. Thanks
2 years late, but I’m going to try these tonight, will let you know how they turned out:)
Omg thank you for cleaning up the edges!
My kid’s teacher requested I send in crackers and cheese for a classroom Halloween party. I feel like if I’m sending it in I want my son to be able to eat it. I think I’ll use untoastes sesame seeds for them but can’t wait to make these for holidays!
Thanks Hun,, they are so good and so easy to make,, Chris loves them!! 😉
Perhaps some everything but the bagel after the Pam spray and sprinkled on the last bake
I just made “Oatmeal” Cookies with this: 1/2 c. flaxseed meal, 1/4 ground walnuts,2 tsp Monk Fruit sweetener,1/4 tsp cinnamon,1/4 tsp salt,2 T. butter, 1 egg yolk, 2 egg whits, beaten stiff. Mix together dry ingredients in bowl. Crumble in yolk and butter with fingers. Beat in beaten egg whites til combined. Cook on parchment lined cookie sheet in preheated 350 oven for 20 minutes. Press tops in Monk Fruit. Makes 8 cookies.
Seems it would be easier to coat and season before breaking apart. Can’t wait to try these.
Hey @Keto Connect can I substitute chia seeds in this recipe?
I made this recipe and loved it. They stayed crisp for about a week.
I made these & only soaked for an hour. Flattened then covered with EVERYTHING BAGEL seasoning. OMG
In the oven `For an hour at two seventy five`…. So you said and so I did and the whole thing was turned into charcoal!
Being a Dutchman (Europe) and a novice in baking I presumed it to be 275 Celcius Hah ha! (which made 527 Fahrenheit)
Later didi it the right way (135 C) and it is an amazing simple and a satisfying snack to deviate from temptations to carbs.
Thanks for the video:)
I only tried them sweet. So I’ll add a sweetener to make them myself.
Has anyone tried using Apple cider vinegar instead of water? And Olive oil. I’m playing around with recipes and I saw one with apple cider vinegar and it tasted delicious but very crumbly. Think I made it to thin.
Has anyone tried using Apple cider vinegar instead of water? And Olive oil. I’m playing around with recipes and I saw one with apple cider vinegar and it tasted delicious but very crumbly. Think I made it to thin.
Love your channel. Thanks! Down 50 lbs and all heart and diabetes numbers improved over the last 6 mos.
gosh, i would sound better to just, flax seed up, some bacon.
Never mind! It was the directions that were unclear. When I watched the video again I saw that you added 1 tsp, pulsed the mix, and then added the other tsp of water. Got it!
Instead of baking them do you think you could Dehydrate them?
Be careful with these flax seed crackers. Don’t eat too many of them. They are a powerful laxative!
I’m not going to lie I dragged my feet for 2 weeks before finally giving in and buying some sesame seeds, which was all that I was missing to make these. Holy Cow! What was I waiting for?!? These are delicious and I know they will help me to stay the Keto course. Thank you so much for sharing.
FYI: The nutritional value of flax seeds is diminished if they are left whole so you may want to use a mix of freshly ground flax seeds for nutrition and some whole flax seeds for texture. Also do not buy flax meal or flour as the nutritional value rapidly decreases with time, best to grind your own and use immediately. I use Nutri Bullet or VitAMix to grind mine.
I can’t make this recipe. My oven only goes to 250 degrees. Your recipe requires 275
I wrote on another video of yours, but I’ll parrot here, please do a video on air fryer keto dinners. Got the ninja air fryer. Ty
Put all the seasoning in the water..itl blend well. Good video
Thanks so much for the video, i bought a huge bag of flaxseeds to add to my oatmeal but i tend to be not very hungry in the morning due to a chronic nausea condition so theyve just been chillin in my cupboard for months and needed a new way to use them up lol
Dude I’m making these with taco seasoning and using them for Keto nachos!!!
I’m wondering if it’s possible to make these with crushed or SLIGHTLY ground flaxseed? My gut won’t tolerate while flaxseed (or chia seed) but can handle them if they are crushed or ground.
I’m going to try this in a tortilla press to make tostada shells, and then can make “refried beans” with a can of black soy beans… and make vegan keto tostadas!
I don’t have a microwave, could I use an oven and what temperature would I use and how long would I cook them for.
.
Check out some of Tom DeFleur’s videos. FLAX is actually one of the things I threw away because it PROMOTES Estrogen production. It is NOT a health food snack, especially for anyone trying to lose weight.
Hey Joe long time fan, what would be the timer and temp if I were to bake them in the oven?
It’s a type of yeast (dry powder) that’s high in b vitamins that tastes a bit like cheese. Bobs red mill makes it among other companies
These are perfect! It’s crazy how much flackers makes you pay for them ♀️. Could you blend the flax seed and spices and put them in oven that way after sitting over night?
I really enjoy this video! If you’ve 1 minute, please check this out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWgg4XUka3V8kVuijXPdH9Q
Thanks
I knew these were going to be great the moment you added toasted sesame seeds! Thanks for your videos-they are really great.
Sounds like a great recipe I missed the temperature on the oven?
Definitely going to try this cause I love crackers just wish Parmesan wasn’t so expensive in South Africa
What sesame seeds did you use? I only have white and black. Yours look more brown/golden.
Got some in the fridge right now. I’ll post my finished product on social media tomorrow.
What would be the recommended temperature and time in an oven, I don’t have a microwave!
I thought you had to grind flax seeds before eating it otherwise the body cant digests them and just craps them out whole
Thanks Hun,,, My Hubby loves them,, I sometimes make them plain with out any herbs…I make a pan each week! They are fun to make! HUGS!!
I’m really gonna have to try these soon. Nice and healthy. Hugs to Momma B
Thank you!! I was just sitting here wondering what I was going to use for my tunafish instead of Ritz Crackers!
Thanks Hun,, I do enjoy baking and cooking,,,Going Gluten Free has been a journey,,, but one that I am embracing and enjoying,, I am slowly converting all my old recipes to Gluten free. Much love Dear friend!! I got your email,,, I will reply tomorrow!! Love ya!!
Thanks Anna, I like this method of baking them. I have been trying to get my courage up to try and figure out how to make an everything bagel. I “think” I have an idea. If I figure it out I will make a video for sure! I tend to over bake,, my freezer is full,, LOL!! Today I made these really good muffins, hope to get that video posted tomorrow! I sent my Son to work today with snacks for the guys,, they all enjoyed them! Its the best fed back when non-Gluten Free people like our treats!:)
These look fantastic. Thanks for the updated baking method. All the seasonings remind me of the “Everything Bagels” I used to get from the bagel shop on the weekends. They look like they’d be great with any type of spread or all by themselves.
Thank you,, my Husband likes them alot. I make them every week!! 😉
Just discovered flackers and can’t wait to try your recipe! Thanks! (I will try a little apple cider vinagar, as in the flackers)
I’ve tried these a couple times and I must be getting bad flax seeds because they all tasted fishy. Thanks for suggesting that brand, I’ll try it. Any other solid flax brands?
They look yummy! BTW do ou have an electric oven? Ours is and it tends to back uneven as well.
These are really yummy crackers. Thanks for the recipe. Second batch coming up!
Can I use ground flax instead of the seeds? Thats what I have on hand.
What a great combination of spices and seasonings.
I like that technique you used to flatten these. Cool trick.
What a yummy snack. I hope you’re feeling a little better today.
Anne, they look so good. The flavor of the toasted seeds has to be awesome. Thanks. Neil
The number one source of OMEGA 3s is HEMP seeds or oil, some people are sensitive to flax’s laxative properties it has if they are not used to it because of the fiber
Personally for me salt doesn’t cause ankles to swell; though many factors can.
Can I add fat to the mix? I made mine without cheese and they stuck to the paper.
Apparently you cannot digest whole flaxseeds so therefore cannot get its benefits. Also, ground flaxseed will go off quicker than whole flax so it’s better to buy whole, keep it in the fridge and grind it yourself..
Very nice. Of course yours are better,,,:) I like garlic and sea salt. Thank you….
Everything in moderation 😉 I don’t know how much is too much though I guess you could google it
AWW thanks Hun.,., and these are Sugar Free,, and they are good for you,, lots of Fiber! I made a muffin yesterday that taste of fall,, will take me a day or so to make the video and type up the recipe! You are so very kind!! 😉 I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
I usually complain about the music on YouTube video, but in this case the music was perfect.
I love crackers and miss them low carb for 3+ years.
I made these today, excellent, reminded me of crunchmasters but not bitter. My oven doesn’t bake as even as I thought, I’ll need to spin the pan a few more times. Has anyone tried baking these in a dehydrator?
This looks delish, and so easy! I’m making these, soon! Thank you
I have a question regarding sesame seeds. I’ve never cooked with them and when I went to buy some I found hulled and unhulled. What is the difference and which is used in your recipe? Thanks.
Made these today. Had to sub sunflower & pumpkin seeds with LSA and pine nuts. Googled Adobo and made my seasoning also.
THESE ARE DELICIOUS. Very filling. Healthy and satisfying also. TFS
Just made these. I feel a bit guilty for eating them all in 2 days
Boiling water to expand the seeds quick instead of over nite.
I used flaxseed meal and added 1 tsp garlic salt and 1/2 tsp garlic powder and added a little butter. Works best rolled paper thin. Has a Nori taste but tastes GREAT with avocado on top!
This is awesome!!! I’ve been worried about the holidays. I always make a cheese ball and serve it with crackers. It’s just not the same with celery. I can’t wait to try this. This will be a new snack indulgence on a regular basis!! Thanks!
love this!!! one question….can I use a dehydrator instead?
You lost me at flaxseeds they have the highest estrogen’ of all
We have to try this…..looks yummy for a nice snack….Thanks again for your yummy healthy recipes…your friends Chris and Lisa
So awesome! I love that you’re doing a lot of low carb stuff. Im starting the keto diet as of today. Oh and your audio sounds perfect!
I can see how these can easily upstage any of their store-bought cousins. These look light, crisp and delicious. And low carb, you say?
Winner! I followed another commenter and added some garlic and onion powder. Put in some toasted sesame seeds. Yum
I love blending my flax, when eaten whole it goes through your digestive track whole, then you poop it out whole
This sounds great. I can get all these seeds easily at the local health food store. Really cheap too. I read in your bio that you have MS. Looks like I do too now. Bummer.
Hey I’m in love with salt and vinegar chips… could you make a video on how to make vinegar powder.
What other ingredient could I use instead of sesame seeds? Recipe does look banging!
I added this to my favorites. I’m going to have to make these. I love crunchy seeds and nuts.
what a great recipe! very healthy and looks sooooo delicious tfs:))
Oh wow I love these Anne. Defiantly making them soon, thank you
SUCH A GREAT RECIPE and I can have it on my keto! YUM Thank you soooo much!
Just tried this recipe and for the first time I got a recipe that is really good! I LOVE THESE CRACKERS! Easy to make and make a few little changes and the crackers are endless!! I miss bread but it’s way too much to eat for me these are PERFECT!!! Many thanks!!!
Thank you Joe. I have been looking for a quick snack and this most definitely fits the bill. The recipe was easy and tastes delicious. I appreciate your clear and direct delivery of the content.
IDK how you’re getting your carb count bc according to carb manager the whole recipe has 12 total carbs, 6 fiber, therefore 6 Net…Cut that in half and its still more than 1 net carb. Not that low carb if you ask me, I mean if 1 carb is what youre going for. ♀️
@joeduff these are amazing! But can you put in your description above how long in oven /degrees and air fryer as well. I don’t have or a microwave Scrolling through all the comments is a pain 😉
Add the seasoning BEFORE you cook the crackers and roll it in with the rolling pin. THEN cook. Better results.
Joe…you need your own show on Food Network…As Keto goes more mainstream, there’s definitely a need for more Keto friendly shows.
Your recipes are quick, easy and don’t need a ton of expensive ingredients…
Thank you for all you do…you’re the best!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Any good substitute for those of us with tree nut allergies and can’t use almond?
I’ve been looking for a good cracker recipe and I think you have the best. I’m subscribed and will watch all your recipes for the best. Thanks for keeping America healthy!
Made these in the microwave and they were still crispy and delish
Add the seasoning to the dough after you roll it out, before you cook it, it won’t fall off
The holes in crackers are actually called “speed holes.” They make the cracker aerodynamic so it goes from the bowl to your mouth faster.
Hi, I don’t use the microwave, what temperature and for how long do you think i can put it in the oven?
I will never eat another cheez it again these are sooo much better and they were fun too make! So many possibilities on favors. Thank you so luck for sharing
I just made them. They are good. So easy yet tasty. 20 gram serving 100 kcal, 2.2 g net carbs.
ok. I agree with “the best” this and that recipe ever! It is frustrating when you spend your time and ingredients and it’s far from “the best” whatever! But Steve…you are right!!!!! These are the best keto crackers EVER! I made my first batch and decided to immediately make another batch they were so good! Crunchy and very tasty!
when I took them out of the oven to spray and sprinkle with sea salt I based them with a little sesame seed oil also. So yum! Thank you for all your videos and hard work. I appreciate you very much!
Thank you for this recipe, I just saved it to make it later. Can you make a fat bomb sesame seed? Or maybe a candy sesame seed? Thank you for your videos

Oh my goodness! I don’t usually like anything baked made with almond flour because of the texture. These are wonderful and easy! I was actually looking for a cracker recipe that I could use my powdered cheddar cheese in but that will wait. These are delicious!
So yummy
Can you list down the ingredients.. thank you
No microwave. No air fryer. I wonder how could I cook these in the oven?
Had to try cos you made it look so easy and it was! They’re amazing! Thank you for sharing.
Looks yummy, can you help with temperature and cooking time on an OTG equivalent to microwave please?
Hey… what is baking spray? 1st hear of that, not sure if we got this in Poland (UE)
You’re a freaking genius with that rolling it out with the parchment paper! This is continuously my struggle with flax seed mix lol
Can they be cooked in the oven instead of the microwave? Appreciate the video and recipe!
What can I add or how can I make this without the cheese. I love this.
I made a small batch of these today…..delicious! I topped them before baking with salt, everything but and garlic powder. I baked mine in the toaster oven and they turned out great. Going to try them in the microwave soon. Thanks.

I’m going to try this with caramel anyone think it’ll work? Any advise LOVE the keep diet BUT a sweet every now and then is nice to
Do I have to use fresh ground Parmesan or can I used bottled?
Please help.. I use to eat those Asian Honey seed candies.. I’ve searched.. I can’t find a Ketosis friendly recipe.. I love your videos.
These are good!! I couldnt get mine to be as pretty, but the taste and crunch are mos def satisfying.
I made a small batch last night. I used a tortilla press to flatten my dough. Of course I used parchment paper on the bottom and top of the tortilla press. I used rosemary garlic seasoning which I mixed into the dough. Ate half last night and the other half this morning. Very fast, very easy and delicisous. Going to make more tomorrow to give to my family members. I know they will love them.
Would it work with coconut flour instead? If yes, what ratio?
Low calory? Compared to what? Flaxseed has high fat content so also many calories. So relatively for its mass it’s got quite some calories. I mean it’s like saying that a teaspoon of fat is low fat.
looks very nice and beautiful!! Thanks my friend:-) greetings:-)
Looks great! Can you just add the spices and bake them with the spices on, rather than using the extra baking spray afterward?
LMFAOOO i was literally munching on cheeze-its and as im scrolling through my feed,BOOM i see this video, they watching me
Me gustaria pudiera pones subtitulos en español. Saludos desde Canada
Fantastic. How did they taste? They look like cheez-it white cheddar
Such a nightmare being allergic to nuts, most receipes ask for almond flour.
Game changer!! Just bought my first bag flaxseeds and made these.
Omg i so missed crackers with my cheese.
Love the taste.
In your video you say to add 1 tsp of water and in the written recipe it says 2 tsp. I’m guessing 1 tsp is the correct amount?
whats the shelf life and whats the best way to keep these? Im planning to make a huge batch
New subscriber here! Would it make much difference if I used ground flax seeds?
Finally a simple cracker recipe that’s crispy AND tastes great! Microwave works good for a quick snack. I used the oven to make larger batches with varying thickness and sizes, all @ 350 with varying times until golden brown. Thank you for this awesome recipe!

So grateful it exists in 2020.”
These are hella good and super easy to make… Thanks for sharing
These look delicious, and I can hardly wait to make them! Thanks for his recipe, and for the video tutorial!
Food for thought the flax seeds need to be grounded to get the nutrients out of them otherwise just go straight through you. But great video will definitely make them thanks. A spice we have here in Australia called pizza topper it’s good
seriously you guys are..HERO… crackers even while you are trying to get lean.. never a thought until i watch your video! Cheers!
Hi Joe! I just made this with Jarlsberg cheese and it works really well, kind of a lighter smoother flavour. I seasoned them with dried tarragon, basil, and cracked black pepper. Just waiting for them to cool off. Thanks for the recipe!!
