DAY 1: the benchmark workout was hell for me. i felt so weak.. i was able to do 179 reps.. but the comment section motivated me a lot… i guess i’ll be good:-)
DAY 2: far better than day 1. my whole body pained a lot from the prev day. But i somehow managed to push myself and complete day 2. i feel pretty confident now.
DAY 3: today was real nice.. I went 40 mins walking and 20 mins of badminton.. my legs feel pretty cool today!

I started this with 168lbs in my body and ending it with 164lbs (I did calorie deficit for half of the challenge, and for the othef half I just ate whatever I want so, no strict diet there)! But!!! I am so glad you have pointed out the myths of these diets and I always tell people it doesn’t matter what time of day/night I eat, if my calories are under I’m gonna lose weight and I always do. I’ve done all the diets but the easiest for me to do is just calorie control. So I can eat what I want, as long as it’s within my calorie limit. I just have a hard time staying focused on it and go back to my old habits

Background (before the workout): I don’t do any physical activity aside from walking to a station. I am vegetarian and trying to be vegan for about 1 week now. I always sucked at athletics and stuff. I do not eat really healthy (not enough veggies, too much sugar). My body is in not the best shape (big butt, a bit of a belly), but I’m okay with it.
Day 1 (Feb. 4th, 2020): Score: 185 (really difficult to count). I think I could do better, if I believed in myself more, but I’m always thinking how I don’t wanna be doing any physical activity and that drags me down. I’m also no good at any jumping activity (like going down to push up and jumping back up). Since there has been a lot of good feedback on this workout and I really wanna find some workout I can stick with, I’ll try my best. Also having a friend that is commiting to do the same thing, that kinda helps.

I did it!! Some exercises were difficult to motivate yourself to do them but since you have a moderate amount of breaks it’s really doable. It’s great that you can choose from various workouts and I think it’s best (as Emi says) not to the same one every week.
I also felt motivated to go for a jog twice this month! I lost about 3 kilos and feel better and healthier. I don’t necessarily see the difference in weight everyday (sometimes my stomach is flat, sometimes it’s not, but I guess it’s because of the things I eat), but I can feel it. My abs are harder and the exercises aren’t that difficult anymore.
Day 62? April 6th, 2020:
Final Score: 303 My form for the last 3 exercises was not good though. First time I filmed myself, so maybe the first two times I also had bad form. Still I can see a little improvement (except for lunges)
This is the 3rd time I did this benchmark workout. I love it. This got me into exercising. I feel stronger and it’s not so much my muscles that are exhausted than my lungs. I think that’s what they tell you when you try jogging: If your lungs hurt and not so much your muscles, it means you could run longer. I feel healthier and overall better and more confident.
I’m still vegan and have been trying intermittent fasting for about 2 weeks now. Being vegan when I have to stay at home (Corona) and have to make my own meals is really easy. When I was still going to work, I’d eat there and it was more difficult to find vegan meals in our cantine everyday (I often ate salad and snacks when I got hungry). Intermittent fasting was relatively easy to get myself into as well. Although I broke with it sometimes (I’d rather eat after the mealtime in the evening). Sometimes I even eat later (setting 12 pm to 8 pm) than 12pm. The hunger isn’t that overwhelming.

Started intermittent fasting 3 months ago and has been gradually reducing my eating window from 8 to 6 to 4 and now 1hour/s. im on my 5th month on my fitness journey and im finally trying this out to lose more weight! ive heard good things about this and ive only tried emi’s workouts here and there.
my benchmark is 276. i think i can do 300 or more at the end of the month.
this concept is so good and challenging for strength. i love it a lot. will check back for the next benchmark on may 15th!

i dont do diets btw! i love eased slow progress because i dont want to form a hatred on foods and be self critical w my progress. progress IS progress!
i do intermittent fasting. 10am-5pm is my eating time, 6pm beyond is just water and tea. i eat 2 meals. 1/2cup rice + 1/2 cup any dishes served at home (im asian i cant do individual food at home lmao) when we have bread, i eat like 4?? it would be my 2nd meal. (i love bread) i eat sweets when i rlly crave it. 1x/wk, 2 is max. small amount!!
i workout at 7pm. i do very low impact at 9am for 10mins just to keep my body moving. sometimes i add 15min dumbell workout (2-5lbs) 3x/wk.
the key is honestly to keep moving. dancing in yo room, clean yo room, yo house, idk like walk indoors anythinggg.

week 1: always felt out of breath! i tried doing liss this week.
week 2: the same. i almost gave up because it wad too tiring, just wanna go back to reading manga and wayching anime. I REALLY AVOIDED WORKOUTS WITH JUMPING BECAUSE I HATE JUMPING. also i did yoga for AR and liss workouts.
week 3: exercising felt like a routine so i was kinda determined. also, haikyuu inspired me a lot. really wanted to play volleyball since when i was a kid but i was bullied for my weight so i didnt try. so yeah. also included exercises with jumping. felt determined so i added strengthening and toning yoga each day and added plank workouts when i feel like it. did 1 hour yoga for wednesday. AROUND THIS TIME I FELT STRONGER, ESPECIALLY IN MY CORE AND ARMS.
week 4: hinata pls bless my legs because i went all out and used intense workouts from emi. GOD BLESS ME. did liss and yoga for wednesday and added plank workouts!! i felt much more stronger and i felt as if my body can endure more. i felt kinda athletic. kinda.
so my ending score is: 282!!!!! YES I AM ALSO SHOCKED. AT FIRST I CANNOT DO THE JUMPING ONES AT ALL BUT MY BODY SURPRISED ME!!!! LOST HALF AN INCH OF FAT (not surprised cause i still eat a lot hehe) but im still grateful! havent measured my weight cause i realised that its not good for my esteem so i stopped measuring my weight, instead i want to enjoy exercising!! IT WORKS.

Hey I just started my month transformation.. so basically I did the benchmark workout n I’m already sweating holy shit like a pig. The best part of benchmark workout is that I had to count my reps so I had that thing in mind so was trying to do as many reps as possible. So yeah I ended up exhausted but I am happy with my beginning score..☺️ it’s 228

I have always thought that dieting is eating only green vegetables and drinking water. NextLevelDeit proved me wrong. I am eating delicious and nutritionally rich food and still reaching my fitness goals.
I cried because i couldn’t do the elbow plank jack. My arms hurt so much and i just couldn’t get my legs to move further than 1 cm. I feel hopeless but this is not the end i will try again tomorrow
I’m done with this program. I have been exercising since April but I stopped and then I started again last May 1, I did the 15 day abs by Emi. After that, I did this 30 day program.
I started at May 26 and it is now June 22. My 1st benchmark workout is 214 reps, and now, it’s 275 reps. I lost 3kg, from 53kg to 50kg. I felt more fit and healthy. I also started my diet just 2 weeks ago which I think helped a lot. I gotta say, proteins and fibers really make me full for a couple hours, so I don’t get too hungry.
Anyways, thank you so much, Emi for this fun and wonderful program. I’ll now try your other program. You’re the best fitness youtuber I ever encountered! Kudos for all the efforts!!!

Yeah it’s not a huge difference but I didn’t rest that much this time, just a few second more than 15 between some of them, and I don’t feel like I want to puke my entire stomach so I can say I improved

I have been on IF for I think 2 or 3 months and have lost 32 lbs so far. This has changed how I see food and my body. I have been dropping weight to where I am having trouble keeping track and didn’t even get to take a before pic. For those who struggle and yoyo diet this is the way to go at least for a start.

Yeah, I too am guilty of jumping from weight loss plan to others as well, I do believe that I must have tested every weight loss program that was available, but eventually not one of them helped me to reduce and maintain the weight off. I really wanna do this intermittent fasting because it’s quite easy for me to do but the problem is that I’m only able to exircise around 7pm and that’s actually the time where my fasting period starts and a lot of people say it’s not good to not eat after exircising because you lose muscles, etc.

So I just finished this workout calendar today. It was amazing! I feel so much better now, and I started seeing changes in my body, like more toned abs and arms. My legs have really slimmed down as well.
But most importantly, I feel so much better! It took me longer than a month to complete this since I got really sick halfway through so I had to take a break for a few days.
In terms of reps. My initial score was 221 and my end score was 280. I believe my end score could’ve been better but I did the benchmark workout in the evening after my dinner, and I’m still pretty sore from my run yesterday.
Tbh I didn’t track my weight through this, I just know that I felt so much better when I excessive drinking regularly. In addition to these workouts I also introduced jogging multiple times a week halfway through and I used light weights when doing arm exercises.
If any of you are unsure if you should do it or not, I say just go for it! You might find something new you love and your body will thank you. I learned to love being sore
So today I’m starting off at 294.. and we will see how this one month goes
2 weeks in: There are so many videos that you can choose from, it’s really hard to get bored. Instead of Sunday being my free day, Thursdays are my rest days since that’s the day I have classes til 10pm.
I went from 120 pounds down to 116, my arms look stronger now, my legs and glutes are also showing some results. I use to bloat quite a bit as I’m doing a zig zag diet even on the low calorie days but now my stomach stays fairly flat.

omg i rarely leave a comment in any video i watched, but i started working out daily a month ago and got 191 reps. Since then I always did your workout every day for a month, I used this calendar as a reference and added more workouts each day. I just finished this benchmark workout and ended up with 243 reps:o i can’t even believe myself! I did not lose any weight yet, but my body definitely felt firmer. I have struggled with mental health issues and I rarely find the time to take care of myself, and eat properly, I’m likely underweight for my height (6’1″ 6’2″, 75kg)
I only eat breakfast if I am at home for the day, not working 9-5, and that would usually be at 10AM, well after I have woken up. if I do work, I don’t have breakfast, nor do I have lunch, ever, all of my breaks are just sitting on my phone, I simply don’t feel hungry.
i have recently started living alone with my partner, so this means we have a shopping list and shopping to do, and we want to plan our meals out more thoughtfully towards are jobs, and bodies.
