I’m a huge emotional eater and it took a few visits with a nutritionist 6 years ago to help me see patterns in my behavior. Made a HUGE difference! I’ve gained 18 pounds ever since December I am not in shape at all and my body is not used to working out because I’ve never really had the need to do so but now I am very unhappy with my shape and weight but cutting out foods and start a healthier life style has been really really hard especially being a college student with 5 classes each semester it is hard to start do you recommend me anything or like an advice? The same happened with me! I got bored and wanted to go back to weightlifting! It’s decent for cardio but just kinda boring.
I personally find HIIT very very very discouraging compared to weight lifting..you don’t really feel the progress in muscle and you feel awful during and after puts your body to so much stress

My favorite fitness youtube channel is HasFit. They are the best! The excercises are fun, work your but off and, my favorite, flexible. Oh! Did I mention they pay attention to good form. There’s always warm up and cool down in their vids. They cater to every body type, fitness level, age, mobility, etc. ❤

I was wondering where you have been! I keep up with your vlog channel so thank you for posting that little video saying you switched to your main channel again! I did this BBG program as well and didn’t make it through the whole plan either. It got boring around the same time you said you weren’t into for me as well. I also felt it was really toning my legs and arms but not so much on my stomach. (It could have been my form as I was a beginner) It definitely does kick your butt though! Sometimes I think about incorporating the leg workouts in from the earlier weeks with my routine now. Fitness will always be a learning curve ♀️
this workout program actually made me lose so much weight within the first two weeks, which is great if that’s your goal. My goal was to gain weight, so I found weight lifting to be more effective than doing this workout program. I would def incorporate some of the workouts though!

I don’t get why she chose the program without weights and then her only complaint is that there was no weights. Just do research before you start. BBG 1 caters for girls who can’t get to the gym. I did it for 5 weeks and saw massive progress.

Love Pamela! Her workouts are super effective, been doing them for almost a year! Plus her music keeps me going and the no talking is lovely. I mix her current quarentine weekly workout plans with Yoga with Adriene(another great grrreeeeattt fitness channel!!!) And am so happy with the results!

Thanks for the video! I too love the Sweat. I didn’t think I would like it as much as I did. Originally signed up for 3 months for a $1 after the new year (I have owned & done the guides for years) & ended up staying with the app I like it that much. Anyways, I agree about PWR as it’s a lot of workouts. I would just do 3-4 strength workouts & 2-3 Cardio a week no matter the actual check list. I would track which upper body workouts I did that week so the next week I would do other muscles. I wish the app detailed what I did week to week but no. Only complaint. I did have to double up a LISS workout on Strength Training day for sure in order to have my weekends open (5 days a week). Anyways, just in case someone is curious Sweat came out with a new program called Fierce & I think it’s a good hybrid of BBG circuit training & traditional Strength training w/less commitment than PWR. Less cardio than BBG & still strength building. And they just added PWR at Home for the home workout girl. Finally, a program for home that isn’t cardio based (BBG) on the app. So anyone reading the comments looking for a home workout option & a high quality app Sweat has 2 programs for home.
I just quit a 12 week workout program for the same reason I usually love the gym but I was dreading every single workout. I actually have this BBG program and was going to start it soon (which I will still do) but totally understand that struggle. I am hoping that these workouts (which seem to be more intense but shorter in duration than the program I was just on) will fit my fitness lifestyle more because the one thing I did love about being on a program was that it kept me moving forward without having to think about each workout. Thanks for this video!!! You look amazing!
Great video! The only thing I thought was kinda ify was telling people they can eat what they want. In my opinion you can have your “cheats” but you really gotta be on your grind with nutrition. Its more than calories in vs calories out. Great stuff though! Looking forward to getting started with the course: )

I love Chloe ting but a lot of the people doing before and after mislead their photos. Some I think they just don’t know how to take proper before and after but most I can tell they’re doing it in purpose cause they do a lot of those videos and they never look like the after photos and stay the same size yet doing constant exercises each week/month

I started alexia clark and OMG I freaking loved her workouts/weight circuits BUT her app is 30$ a month, and I already pay for the gym I couldn’t justify paying practically another gym membership when I already do my own workouts and see results. Everyone has their favorite types of workouts and it seems that HIIT Bodyweights aren’t exactly your favorite. My personal favorite is Pilates! I wonder if the workouts had a mix between the two, you’d enjoy it more?

I do kayla itsines bbg stronger and it’s the BEST! I find her first program that you did is good for beginners but it’s fairly easy tbh. Bbg stronger is great if you want to use machines and weights in the gym

Oh man I can relate to this entire video 100%! I did the BBG 1.0 program until week 11 as well. I did see some results but I get bored really easily with my workouts and need to switch it up a lot. I love doing HIIT but sometimes it was hard to mentally prepare myself before each of her workouts because they were so intense! I also totally agree about being so overwhelmed with all the nutrition information available online. I wish I could find a nutritionist where I live that I can trust and is in depth like the one you mentioned you work with. Thank you for sharing!

Also to expect results make sure to eat right!!! I’m not saying literally eat carrots all day, but try to incorporate some healthy veggies, fruits and WATER remember water people, don’t just shove soda down your throats and expect to be in shape instantly. Okay that’s enough rambling for me.
Intuituve eating is not counting macros. If you have trouble with over eating, maybe you are restricting your food
To make something sustainable you first must stick with it for a while.

You should do the Courtney Black workouts. she has an app with nutrition, live workouts that she uploads and there are some workouts where she gives you reps and things like that. the live workouts are killer.

I used to be very skinny when i was 18 years old and the month before i had the exam that gets you into college in my country i was extremely stressed and became very addicted to it. i gained strength and muscles and before two weeks i was noticing positive changes in my body. i used to combine a total body workout with some abs or butt workout. Now im 20 and trying to get back on track hahaha. love your videos!!!

I started with mostly doing classes via class pass, but now I go to the gym regularly, however I’ve never tried a program. I’ve always been curious about them though, there are so many!
My personal favorites are Fitness Blender and Sydney Cummings. Imo Chloe Ting workouts are too easy so fb and Sydney provide more of a challenge. Love Natacha for her knowledge and Pamela has really good workout videos

It’s not as entertaining, but has a wide variety of trainings and they vary between 2 and 30 minutes. I forgot of they had sessions of more than 30 minutes. Toning, cardio, yoga, etc.
Thanks for this review! I personally hated BBG… I’m just not good with circuits and high intensity style training. I loved Tammy fit and I’m currently using fitplan app and love it as well. I usually workout at home with light to medium weights

Omg I get youu!!! Weight loss has been so difficuilt for me bc i want to lose weight healthily and maintain it but there’s so much info that it got overwhelming that it led to many dark nights
i’d say chloe ting’s workouts are more for beginners than pamela’s. i did chloe’s two week challenge and i shifted to the hourglass but i was hitting a plateau, i didn’t feel the burn anymore nor was my body improving and so i shifted to pamela which made me realize that man, i was still hella unfit haha tho i totally recommend doing chloe’s workouts first then shifting to pamela’s + alexis

Each body is different and everybody needs different nutrients, and calories. IT definitely is very subjective. Not every work out works for everyone, neither every diet. Being healthy is accepting your body, listening to it, accepting it and nurturing it as it is. You were def on a road to develop an ED. Being food obsessed is terrible. Work out because you want to FEEL GOOD, because you want to challenge yourself. Not because you want to lose weight only. Great video and I hope more youtubers stress this out, and make honest reviews.
I started the pwr program. And now it’s progressed to too many days a week so I’m looking for something else. Hoping for 3 times a week with maybe an optional 4th day. I want to get bigger into weights and start lifting heavy. What do you suggest?
How did you know what ingredient makes you bloat? I did a food log for a long time because I’ ve been dealing with bloating for years but you eat a lot of different food in a day not only one ingredient,f.e. if for breakfast you eat porridge, it has oats,milk,fruit…you dont eat only oats all day,you know. So how did you know? Thanks for sharing your experience! I tried the BBG too but after a month I had to quit it because my knees started to hurt a lot.

I’m doing Natachas Home Reload program right now and I LOVE IT. I’m on week 2! It’s crazy challenging but her workouts make me feel like a power ranger ♀️ SHE IS THE GOAT
I tried this program (and the second one) about two years ago. I also didn’t know much about nutrition at the time. I did, however experience the burnout near the end of the program, as well. This program is definitely good for someone who is a beginner to working out.
Can i try these apps without going to the gym? Like only home workouts

I agree with what you said that it is for shrinking hehe now that I lost some weight Im thinking of starting out on weight lifting to have defined muscles but am lost on how to start. I’m on the same boat with the bbg workouts. I start getting bored with them quickly…i did it three years ago for like 6 weeks and stopped then started again a year later and stopped mid way. And now I’m starting it again lol I think what helps is doing bbg r times a week and doing something else 3 days a week to change it up.
I use the Nike training club and I got a workout tomorrow on it.

I heard about this app before. But never used it because of the monthly fees. But, after the Youtuber; TheCortReport always mentions this app and how she obsessed with it. I decided to talk my fiancé into letting me get the subscription for the app. It’s $10 a month for a total of $120 a year. I like the workout portion. I use the meal plan thing as a suggestion but I don’t actually follow it because I don’t like some of things included in the recipes and no way we can modify that. I haven’t started it yet since I just got it tonight. I am doing the BBG beginners program. Because I wanted something more centered around at home workouts for now and that seemed to be the only program I could find that fit an at home workout style. I saw some yoga ones but I am not flexible for that yet. Can’t wait to try it out.
I’m glad that some people find it helpful, and get moving at least but I will never understand how this is all anyone does. It doesn’t boost your metabolism long-term either it’s basically cardio, and that is the least effective for long-term maintenance. Building muscle is how you stay consistent!

Abby Pollack has great work out videos that are free!!! She explains everything so well and awesome for beginners and intermediate
Zuzka Light is another great work out gal. Very reasonable. All kinds of work outs to choose from. Yoga HIIT upper lower glutes cardio fit slide you name it. She has beginner intermediate and advanced work out levels. She has meal plans too. She has a lot of free stuff oh her you tube channel so you can get a really good idea as to what her work outs are like. Try it she is amazing!!
What did you expect? If you already work out with weights and are already tonned, you won t get much change, but if you ve been sitting around for a year ofc it will show results, also if you eat incorrectly it won t be as efficient.

I didnt like kayla itsines at all. Too repetitive, too long. Just not for me. Then I did the sweat it to shred it from sarahs day. Which i really like tho i figured out that following a guide doesnt work for me do i quit but it is an amazing guide
