Honestly these look really good but I don’t have these things so I just put almond milk, cocoa powder, and agave syrup in mine and it’s really good:)
These look so yummy! I made a super yummy hot chocolate last year (it’s on my channel if you want to check it out it’s SO good) but I love trying new recipes. I never have coconut butter, so I will be trying the third one first I think Thank you girl!
In bed under covers ready to sleep watching this with a smile and 1 single happy tear falling down my cheeck
Is stevia really any better than normal sugar, it seems too good to be true
Happy New year!! Thank you verry mush for the addictive chocolate. MERCI BEAUCOUP. Beautiful
Hey… Really nice recipes… But doesn’t adding a lot of hot water, thin out the hot chocolate given the fact that vegan milk is’nt very thick??
Oops, I missed your Vegan Nutella link in your description? Thanks for the 3-ways Hot Chocolate Recipes.
Bam… that is one worthy hot chocolate recipe just tried it and yup it hit the spot on this craving! Conjeeled chocolate bit was definitely a treat.
I left the pan alone
hi I was just wondering if you could replace the cacao powder with cocoa powder if you don’t have any
I think I’m going to make this tonight, or I will be obsessively thinking about it until I do. I dont feel like going to the grocery store though.
I always find that the raw cacao doesn’t dilute into the milk. Maybe I need to mix it more vigorously or something… Anyways, solid recipe. Thanks for sharing!
i just put the cocoa powder in hot water. no added sugar, fat, cream etc. just some cinnamon. much healthier and the taste grows on you after a while.
Omg!! They all look so good!! Mmm. The maple sea salt hot chocolate would be good with some peanut butter added to it. Yum! That Nutella hot chocolate though omg that one I would def try first. Hazelnut milk would be good in the Nutella hot chocolate as well. I love hazelnuts and chocolate together!! Thanks Alyssa! I was actually just thinking I needed a good vegan hot chocolate recipe!
May i substitute coconut cream for coconut oil? It is very hard to find coconut cream in Poland.
Does munk fruit extract have a strong taste or after taste?
How much should you use if you’re used to add a teaspoon to tea\coffee\ hot chocolate?
how many carbs and calories would this be? almond milk, cacao pwd and stevia combined. I wish he had mentioned that
I’m in love with your tea cup and saucer!! Where did you get it?
So yummy!! Ive made the first and third recipe! Its so good!! I want to try to make the nutella recipe soon! I love your recipes and so does my toddler!! S2
Those sound so good! The Mexican and chai coco were my favorite, I like how you filmed this. Much more cozy but yet still new and fresh like your trying for ♥️
I don’t like the taste of Stevia, there’s a weird aftertaste, I’m going to make some hot chocolate right now
Wow, they look amazing! The nutella hot chocolate looks aaaamazing!
Doesn’t raw cacao lose it’s nutrients a over 42degrees centigrade?
Thanks, as I hate coffee.
I have some cans of coconut milk, it’s very thick.
I’m going by to try that in place of the coconut cream,, hope it works.
They all look so good, but the nutella one really caught my eye (or stomach?! haha). Also wondering where the first mug is from, loved the design so much!
Yum yum yum!
I love hot chocolate❤and my favourite is the Mexican one. Hmm that vanilla bean one sounds good.

Mom: Ew almond milk
Me: You know what this tastes like?
Mom: what?
Me: Baby cows being with their mom more than five hours
I had to use agave nectar the cocoa powder was very bitter but it was still awesome
would you say that monk fruit extract is a healthier alternative to a date-based sweetener?
It hurts my soul when you put hot liquids in your blender! I’ve always heard the blades lose their sharpness due to the heat
Im not vegan i just like vegan hot chocolate, is it just me, oh ok
This is a great recipe. I use it now on my Atkin’s diet. Taste great and is easy to make Thank you.
Vegan hot chocolate? That’s absolutely DEESGUSTANG!!!!!
Thank you for sharing. It comes on a good time to me as my close friend suffers from her brain at this moment. She had epilepsy episodes that have stoped about 6 years ago but sometimes she is very weak and needs medical assistance. The IRM has found a kind of tumor last year, in 3 days she’ll have another control scan. I sent her Dr Naidoo website as she’s interested to heal with food too, so great thanks to all of you for this video
As a new vegan (1 month) i find vegan hot chocolate better than the non-vegan ones
Thomas, doesn’t this drink raise your insulin and therefore stop fat burning? I’m asking because you said you have it before bed, which seems like the time you would burn fat.
Can I use cocoa powder rather than cacao powder for these recipes?
Do all your ingredients have here in the philppines? What are the substitute in every ingredients?
My number one favourite food. Life wouldn’t be worth living without Chocolate.
Great recipe! I tried and it tastes amazing.
PS. You have a beautiful smile
Really intruiged by these recipes i cant wait to try! They look tasty & decadent but with a healthy twistwhat’s not to like ?! The mugs are sooo nice too i like all 3 haha x
You should try adding rose wasted as a sweetener. Trust me it tastes amazing.
Cocoa is my favorite to add in my oatmeal and I love hot cocoa drinks too ❤️
Amazing..am thinking Tahini with the maple recipe, for extra creaminess..❤️ Happy New year Alyssa..love xx
just tried the last one but didn’t like the salty taste, it dominated the drink perhaps because I used sugar instead of maple syrup. I’ll reduce the amount of salt next time and see. Either way I loved the recipe! Thank you!
Great stuff!! I’ve tried a few variations and I use coconut milk and I had some Allman butter before blending it it’s very good
Chai. Means. Tea.
What you’re putting in is masala, or spice mix. I’m assuming the Indian masala chai is what started all this confusion in the US as to what chai is.
Does simmering the cacao powder cause it to lose its beneficial properties?
Your recipes can give Shalane’s cookbook a run for her money! Love this and the ginger/cayanne/turmeric drink Pat made too, it really is very anti-inflammatory. Keep up the good work!
Omg yumo yess!! Ive been wanting a recipe for hot chocolate!! Tonight me n the kids will make some!!
Can you imagine I’m watching this video now and when she said happy new year I panicked I thought we were already in 2020 but it’s December 2019 and this video was 2018
I usually get dark chocolate bar from a small local shop and just slowly melt it in soy milk with a pinch of salt and some spices of I feel fancy. Never had better hot chocolate..
In love with your chanel! Congratulations!
I think this is what one would call death by hot chocolate …… incredibly awesome to watch…and ya would love to have it….best wishes from India
Do you sweeten it? Or are the bars you are using already sweet?
had to like this video so that it wouldn’t be on 666 anymore O.O Lol. I think I’m gonna try this in the morning!
We made the hot chocolate with reishi and it was so delicious! Now it will be a winter staple for us! Thanks so much for your awesome and inspiring, healthy, plant-based content! I love everything you do!
Can you use coconut oil instead of cream? Sorta looks the same
Since you’re blending it, I would substitute the stevia with dates. There’ll be added natural sugars but at least you get more nutrients.
I’m really surprised you don’t have more subscribers by now. You put out such nice, helpful content. You deserve more subscribers.
I tried the last one with lactaid, and normal salt. It tasted like the store-bought horchata. Really good.
Very interesting. I’m used to cooking my hot chocolate on a stove with only milk. will try this!
Yummy I love hot chocolate! Thank you for the new recipes I’ll try them. I wanted to ask u if you can make healthier version of junk food, like chips, candy, etc
Me: *just grabs coco powder, water and almond milk* simple and kind of healthy, coco is a fruit, almond milk is kinda healthy and water are healthy,so boom!
There are carbs in almond milk as well besides in cacao. So how many carbs per cup for real?
can you really blend hot liquid in a bullet blender? mine got leaking and broken pretty quickly since the inner pressure created when blending really hot liquid.
Omg that maple sea salt one has changed my life!! So much better than shop bought ones
I still couldn’t figure out who does she remind me of but I got it know. Janice and Rosa Diaz in one person. You’re welcome.
Can you do a video on how to eat enough calcium without consuming a ton of dairy products? I’m not a fan of milk or yogurt and cheese isn’t exactly the healthiest option.
If you froze this instead of heating it, do you think it would make a good ice cream substitute?
I’m sharing your videos on my page. Please keep on making cooking tutorials. We love watching it.
I would test this out but it’s just really hot here so i might have to wait until christmas
Can we stir all the ingredient till it melts instead of using the blender?
Chai is a kind of tea! Its made with half milk and half water and it isn’t only about spices! Some people have chai without any spices as well!!
When I was a kid the women in my Argentinean European family made the best thick hot chocolate ever! It was sweet enough but NOT necessarily sweet. Good chocolate has rich flavor and doesn’t need much sugar. Really.
Wow!! I made the first one without water (only hot almond milk), coconut sugar and cinnamon!! It’s so delicious!! Thank you!!!
It is best with Espelette pepper. You can also try with coconut milk (but without pepper otherwise it’s too many things at the same time).
Genius! Adding red pepper flakes? Who would have thought? Not me. But I will give it a try.
Can I use something instead of a mixer when I don’t have one?
very good ideas but the mexican hot chocolate doesn’t have pepper and it’s made with water instead of any milk and sweetened with sugar kane…
Beautiful recipe, great looks and excellent explanation, I like it a lot, and I believe it is very tasty. Do you want to support my channel. My new friend? Thanks
I love these podcasts. They are so informational and inspirational. I have Diabetes and suffer from anxiety and I really want to change my diet. Thank you so much
As a chef I can tell you that yes yes yes! Pepper and chocolate work very well together! I’ve used chocolate as a secret ingredient in chili for years! Of course cinnamon too! Another great combo is cheddar cheese and chocolate… I make deeelish chocolate brownie fudge pizza… nom nom nom! Thank You Gwen!
So it’s 90 degrees and really humid, might just have to try this tonight!
That looks delicious. Thanks for sharing. Btw, 5 sec blurb on how your recovery is going would have been great.
if you’re a vegan, can you use any plant milk in replacement?
Happy New Year to you too. Looks delicious as always. Can’t wait for the recipes this year…
HAPPY NEW YEAR & HAPPY 3 THREE KINGS DAY!
SOOOO DELICIOUS ALL 3! GRACIAS.
NOW, I PREFER TO USE MY OWN *COCONUT MILK INSTEAD OR *CASHEW OR *HAZELNUT.
BLESSINGS ✌
ahhhhh this looks so good, i’m watching this at school bc i’m craving hot chocolate and i soooo want to make it.
i just tried this! i substituted the chocolate for frozen nutella because i didn’t have chocolate so it’s a bit too sweet! however, that’s my fault and this is a wonderful recipe!
Can i just say: thanks for the delish recipes and HAIR GOAL!
Excellent. I love all your videos. Seeing what you cook and eat is great.
i really love all your videos:) I Ould recommend using dates as a sweetener, it mies the hot choclate soooo creamy and sweet.. my fave way to do it is blending toasted hazelnuts, cacao powder, 2-4 small dates, a pinch of salt and a pinch of vanilla with hot water… its the best thing ever, you have to give it a try.. 😉 even my non-vegan boyfriend lives for this stuff:D
goddd this looks devine! ❤ (coming from a person who’s not a fan of chocolate) definitely going to try this in the future! thanks for the recipe! I’m looking forward to more authentic recipes x ohh btw what’s the background music if you don’t mind me asking? it’s so soothing
I love your videos but i do wonder why do you use the term vegan when you are plant based? Veganism is an ethical stance against the oppression of other animals whereas plant based is a diet; often vegans such as myself follow a healthy plant based diet but they are not mutually exclusive.
I am definitely going to try this recipe!!! It looks so delicious and the ASMR was a really good idea. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe ❤
