I’ve had anxiety and depression since I was 8 years old (I am almost 19 now). I don’t exercise regularly at all, and during this pandemic, I’ve been staying at home in bed all day and feel like I don’t have any worth— in myself or to give to make a difference in this world. My therapist says exercise would be good for me and that’s why I’m checking out this vid. Honestly though, I’m having trouble figuring out what exercise I should do… it feels like I’m always dreading it so I avoid it. ♀️
I hit to the gym to sweat it out every single day, and i am pround of that
I started to do a few push ups and sit ups for my anxiety and body dysmorphia but I started to get addicted tho and I think I am over exerciseing tho because I constantly get the urge to do push ups but my arms are beginning to hurt and I go crazy when I don’t do a tiny bit of exercise
Í do exercise of cardio but í have to lift Weight cuz ím too slim
I wouldn’t call martial arts healthy tho. After doing boxing and mma for 2 years I developed a sleeping disorder from all the head injuries, broke my rib and developed a non-cancerous tumor on my wrist. Also-constant minor injuries are just a norm. Everything is gone now after 4 years since I stopped. Wouldn’t recommend if your goal is to improve health. But fun af.

I use to smoke weed and cigarettes everyday, it messed up my mindset and I was so unmotivated, just finished high-school, got no girlfriend and I’m stuck. so one night when I was drunk lol I started doing like 300 situps beside my bed, my back was aching pain,my whole body was just in pain but I still kept going. Now Im on a strict diet and make ab workouts a morning routine for me. My mind just feels fresh and I have some thought of what I wanna do in my life. I could even tell that all my friends were just taking advantage of me, so I deleted Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram and only social media I go on is YouTube I watch self improvement videos on how to be more mature and man the hell up. I’m thinking of joining the defence force later on in my life and going uni to do further studies at the same time.

Have been eating right, working out, taking vitamins and supplements, even taking colder showers. None of it seems to be working (in terms of mental health physically I’ve noticed a change, but I don’t care about that), it’s really frustrating. It feels like I’m being sold a lie.

This helped a lot… I was losing my mind trying to stop caring about someone else’s apparent rudeness and childlikeness, because rationally, that’s on them, right? “Why does it annoy me, am I insane? Other people think they’re nice, is it actually me? Why don’t I like them? This is such a waste of energy what’s wrong with me!”, and on and on and on. Then I watched this and I breathed, and finally it was a normal, satisfying breath. I was in a life/death situation
I was trying to change lanes in the high-way. I was waiting for that person to pass me. The moment he passed while switching lanes he made a hard break where i ALMOST crashed into him. He was driving 110-120 km but when i changed the lane he reduced his speed to 85-90
I was extremly mad because no one was infront him, which means he had no reason to break that hard. Plus he could’ve cause multiple car crashes because of how many people was behind me.

I am an empath. When I am in a very bad mood I find myself crying for the emotional pain experienced by random people i see everyday, I try find out the cause of the pain and the solution to the problem. Sometime I am incapable of doing anything that would help them, I don’t know who to forgive in such cases.
Posting 11 minutes in…don’t really know how I’d rate it yet but I’ll just explain.
So I was having a good day today (woke up early I’m a morning person, got the the gym, got to work and got a lot of work done)…but then something really annoying/slightly worrying happened and those feelings manifested into a slight pain around the right side of my chest and a bit of tension in my right arm. Tried to calm myself down as I normally do, listening to music I like, walking around/stretching, self-meditative thoughts, but nothing was helping.
So I find this video and skip to just the pure tone. Very quickly I felt the pain begin to lift and some of the tension go away. I noticed I also started to breath more deeply and focus on that alone taking the worrying thoughts out of my mind. Greatly tuned out.
Good stuff, I’ll keep on listening.

Why should you have to forgive yourself as something is happening TO YOU that you didn’t want or necessarily create in the first place? I believe this could do more harm to certain people because then they will have the guilt of feeling like what they went through was their fault next time…

I literally just had a negative thought with someone and started scrolling through YouTube to find something good to listen to…. I saw this video and said “ nah, that’s not for me… “ and that inner voice said “ oh yes it is!” And we went back and forth for like a min until I decided yes I’m gonna watch this. Thank you for caring about a total stranger… I typically run at about a solid 4 it will take a miracle for me to see 10… These sounds do help me but not immediately after listening. It will be the next day maybe and I will be going about my day when suddenly something funny will just pop into my head and I will start to laugh… The effect usual will last for a decent amount of time too all the while feeling happier with more of these comical moments.

This vlog is so timely. Was in a difficult situation just now. Had to do some banking errands. The bank near my place said their machine is out of order, so I had to drive like another 10-15 minutes to their next branch. Again, they said it was out of order. I just wanted to just throw the documents down to the floor….then i realise, “I should not be getting in a bad moon. Ok…I may not complete it today, but it is not going to be the end of the world. Everything’s still gonna be fine…” Walked out of the bank, had lunch and now i am home, watching your Vlog. #zen

I’m trying to understand when exercise will kick in for me, it’s been 6 months almost. I still don’t feel the effects which are so persistently put on display.

If I set 1 as morbid depression and 10 as hypomanic, I went from a 4 to about a 6. No complaints; didn’t expect to feel “happy,” just needed a boost to get through my day.

So before listening my mood was a crappy 1/10… plus I have a bad cold and a runny nose.. I went to work and closed my office door and didn’t feel like seeing anyone all day (note I’ve been depressed for 2 months already)…
After listening to this for about 15 minutes, I would say my mood lifted to 4/10… I feel somewhat better but still don’t feel like socializing or even smiling to anyone… but at least I can work…
Reporting after one hour, my mood was boosted to 5/10… then I finally stepped out of my office to speak to a colleague about work, and smiled, then my mood boosted to 6/10…

Worked very well for me. Listened to it on a morning after an early night panic attack. (this morning) and it lifted my mood and helped me breathe easy and feel cool as a cucumber for the rest of the day, where I was shaking and feeling feverish and miserable all morning. 2 / 8

Guess it depends on the individuals, 3+ hours of exercise a day might be bad for some, perhaps. Personally, it’s been fine for me. I used to do boxing and we’d train at least 3 hours a day 4 to 5 days a week. Thankfully, I haven’t had major injuries.
2 or 3 before listening and five minutes into it I am already feeling like a 5 or 6. This works
