Hi, Dani, I just wanted to give a quick thanks for your helpful tips. I have been having difficulty with losing weight after having two c sections. I love to work out, unfortunately I don’t get a whole lot of time to workout in a day. I do workout every day but I feel like a half hour is not long enough. I don’t feel the results and I certainly do not see any results. My biggest problem is tackling the loose skin you get right after baby. With the csections it seemed to have made the loose tummy harder to tackle. Any suggestions on what I can do to loose this part of my body?

I’ve noticed the weight loss slowing down for sure, but honestly I’m in no hurry, I know good things come in time so and I’m not the most patient person in the world lol but I’m waiting. I’d say the only thing I have been making sure of is that the weight is still going down and I’m not gaining anything back that I’ve lost because if that were the case I would probably be doing something wrong. Hey, if I count kalories does that mean, that I can eat what I want as long I’m not eating to much of it and I’m staying on the ‘border’?
Last month I had to intermittent fast not by my choice. On one note I’ve been doing Keto since January. Last month my 9 year was hospitalized at our local Children’s Hospital. In the pICU no food allowed. I couldn’t really leave her alone so I had like one meal to eat outside the pICU in like 10-15 minutes. I only did that once per day for a week. It really helped that I was on Keto because I can’t imagine if I was carb dependent feeling hungry every 4 hours. I would’ve been hangry and lethargic. Keto and Intermittent fasting can get you through life really… imagine if you were those lost people in the woods while hiking… you can probably survive longer too.

I’d forgotten how much easier clothes shopping could be when you wear regular sizes. I used to worry about if I’d fit in a booth at a restaurant or scanning the room for the most reliable chair. Not having to do that anymore is worth it! I was surprised how people look at you differently from when you’re overweight. Can I use black coffee with pure cream instead of keto coffee?
Question for Autumn: I’ve been doing a 12-8 window for a while now. Before I started, I rarely felt hungry. Even now, I usually don’t have the appetite to eat 1500 calories a day naturally, even after a 16 hour fast. Is not eating “enough” calories a problem that could sabotage my weight loss IF my body does not seem to want food? After a 16 hour fast, I can have nothing but a spoonfull of almond butter and feel satiated for a long time, but I’m worried this will keep me on a plateau. I would love to see a video addressing lack of appetite! <3

I have mixed feelings about The Desire Map, or maybe I’m misunderstanding its purpose. I listened to one of her videos about it and she was saying something to the effect of “always follow your feelings”. For me, I’m highly sensitive and tend to have lots of anxiety. If I followed my feelings all the time it would lead me down a bad road. If a person wants to feel they do with bad addictive behavior that could be a slippery slope too. A wise counselor once said to me in the middle of feelings and facts you find wisdom. I think you need both. ♥️

Hey Autumn I’m really curious about IF…..I’ve never thought of my lifestyle as IF and I’m not sure that it really is…..? We finish dinner usually around 8 to 8:30pm and then I get up at 5am, walk approximately 10km, do a couple circuits with weights and then about 30 minutes of yoga……and then around 9ish I usually have a small breakfast (cottage cheese & berries usually) I’ll have a proper breakfast of like oatmeal or something around 11 with my husband.
I’m wondering if this counts as IF or if it’s even healthy. I do always feel fantastic in the morning though……it’s about 4pm that I usually start to crash

I think when we want to “eat healthy” just to be skinny its a lost cause. If we eat healthy to start enjoying and learning about foods then its much better since ee function our best out of enjoyment anr pleasure. The more I ate and tried new veggies out of enjoyment the more my taste buds have actually changed and now eating raw carrots and celery is actually super desirable to my palate

I think the meal prep is the hardest for me… I’m in college right now trying to avoid the Freshman 15. I do live in the dorms so everything I eat comes from the Cafe at the university but I never know what’s going to be there besides the things that we have to eat everyday.
intermittent fasting seems to be blowing up the media. it’s a really interesting topic. a relative of mine has been doing it only for a month and they lost 10 pounds so far— there is definitely something to be said about that. i really want to give it a try and ease into it but i’m afraid i won’t be able to be consistent with it! especially when i hang out with friends or go on vacation. any tips on that? luckily i don’t have much weight to lose but the downside is that it’s very stubborn weight!
For the longest time I was always switching between wanting to loose weight because of my waist, or gain weight to make my body proportionate ( I have really big boobs, but no ass at all so I’d grow my glutes. ) my confusion mainly came from me watching someone who said you can’t do both loosing weight and gaining it at the same time. I have always heard that if you want to achieve a goal you should act and think as if you already have… sounds like great advice but if your goal is to have 10 million dollars and you are living on 2000 a month its kind of hard to act like you have 10 million haha. Instead, you telling us to find smaller ways now to achieve the feelings we are expecting to get when we achieve the goal, this makes much more sense to me. After all… if you continue to feel the way you feel now, you will continue to do the same things you are doing now and you will not be able to make progress for long.

Thank you for this! My weight actually dramatically fluctuates often. My goal is always to work myself skinny, and what I feel I get most from that is the sense of success from this. Plus it makes me feel more beautiful. However when I’m not at that point, e.g around finals when I don’t have time, it puts me in a mega depression mode until I get there again, which takes a while for me…and I still have to figure out how to fix that…

I wanna be ME again. I gained 60kg bij medications, hormones and a thyroid issue (genetics, thanks mom-she is on her thyroid meds for over 40 years now and has a healthy weight i used to be underweight {anorexic} for 20 years).
I wanna feel ME again, not what i look like in the mirror (what makes me feel sick). Then i can be happy.
I’ve always been 10 pounds overweight. I know if I lost the weight I’d feel lighter in life. I’d have more energy. I also know that sometimes I eat when I’m not hungry or I over-eat when I’m already full.
I also think spending less money, losing weight and staying organized all works together. Those are my three goals.
I don’t know what it is but coffee makes me more hungry and if I drink a matcha or green tea I get nauseas when drinking on an empty stomach so I just stick to water or sparkling water.

In the past 4 years I have gained so much weight especially around the middle area that I’m so fed up with myself looking horrible and being sick. I have diabetes and the meds are contributing to my weight as well as what I’m eating. I don’t exercise at all (I know I am my worse enemy)…I am 5 ft and weigh 205 lbs. I’m sick of being sick!!! Hi dear I just started my weight loss journey, right now I walk and jogg around, and I also weight train, so my question is can you do cardio and weight train at the same time?
I recommend breaking your fast with 10 sticks of butter. The next meal should be 5 jars of Mayo, and dinner should be 10 jars of almond butter and 20 pounds of bacon. You will lose fat really fast since you’re fasting and in fat burning mode 16 hours during the day, and also calories in vs calories out is a myth.

I train Muay thai during my fasting time. At first, I feel very sluggish. But as my body got used to using fat as fuel, results are absolutely astounding!!!

Meal preppin is the best. You save so much time and the money child!!!! I literally woukd spend around $800/month on food between groceries and eating out. Meal preppin helps me plan what I will eat and I’m able to utilize the things I already have to the point I was able to make 30 meals with snacks between meals to feed me and my bf for $42. I save so much money now during the month.

Everyone says keto coffee breaks your fast that it’s too many calories and you keep saying drink it while fasting. I understand it helping keep insulin stay low but that’s not fasting anymore,isnt it?

I LOVE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I just did a 6 weeks challenge with cross fit program and lots of cardio and I lost 20 lbs, a lot of stomach fat BUT, I lost my quads, gluteus and breast. My arms are cut. I want to gain and get my muscles with the 3 cuts by my knees back in my quads and get my gluteus popping again but even better. I know I have to do more heavy weight lifting and less cardio, but how often do I need to do cardio? I like your 5 for 25… I was doing something similar bcz I get bored too. But how often did you do cardio? That is my main question. I am trying to understand the detail of how much cardio to do throughout the week when you are wanting to gain muscles in your gluteus and legs? Basically, like you, I want a tighter waist and bigger but. I have hip dips too… Can you PLEASE PLEASE help me? THANK YOU KINDLY.

Hi Dani! I ordered the book, I’m looking forward to picking up some great new habits. Some of my goals for the new year is staying consistent with exercise and cooking at home everyday. I want to be more proactive instead of reactive. I want to get ahead on my finances, I want to be a better planner. I think all of these goals all start with planning. I love feeling content because I know my health, my family, and my finances are all worked out. The past few months have been a crazy time for my business so everything else kind of sat on the back burner. Now that everything has slowed down this past week, it’s been really hard to get back to my routine. So I’m looking for a jumpstart to balance my life again.
It’s so crazy how I just found you while I’m on my weight lose journey. I’m actually so thankful because I have the same problem of wanting to loose weight but to also tone my body and not loose my curves plus also losing arm fat and I’m kinda struggling with what to do and how and also what to eat. While I’m doing this how many calories should I be eating? I just kinda wing it.. I eat clean but not like super strictly clean but I’ve cut sodas chips and fast food and everything I love I also workout. Idk if I’m eating enough I don’t wanna starve myself so that it comes back fast if I stop IF

I want to lose weight and I want to feel better-to get into a healthy and fit condition. I’m wary of wanting an impossible goal, though. I think of how I was when I was young when I think of my goal instead of imagining what a realistic result would be (I’m 61). Am I overthinking?
I’ve been eating 200 calories a day and going to gym and I lost so much weight lol. I’m so used to eating no more than 500 calories now but it started off with me feeling faint and tired all the time.

so the calories i need to take in is 1,290 depending on the chart, i don’t plan on working out. but do u think i can still lose weight by eating the same food but less, ( hot pockets, pizza rolls, pizza), do u think i would still lose the weight? since im gonna eat less…
I have a question i do IF 16:8 my times are usually 10-6 or 10:30 to 6:30 but sometimes I finish my last meal at 4:30 should I finish eating at 6?

Hi Dani, I’ve been following your videos for a while now. This one was really inspiring. Last year I wasn’t feeling comfortable with myself and I felt my body wasn’t healthy. I was never really able to keep any committment to diets so I started eating clean with the goal of feeling more healthy and no expectations about weight loss. That incredibily helped me because setting goals will often concentrate on the lack of something, not on the feeling you want, and the message you will send to the universe is that you lack something and that’s what you’re gonna get, but if you start with feeling happy, satisfied, healthy or whatever you want with the little things, you’ll send the universe the message that you are all those things and will get more of that back! Law of attraction! I lost a significant amount of weight without much efforts because I was aligned with my soul! It was a great feeling. Unfortunately everyday life got very busy and I guess I got disconnected again this year, so I gained weight again. I’ve been thinking to go back to clean eating but I feel my will is weak. Your video helped me to clear my mind, I think I will start the new year with your suggestions and also by the book. Thanks!
So useful! Please could you do a video on how to get started in the weights section? I want to tone my arms and bum but I just feel weird going into that section as all these muscley guys are grunting etc. How did you overcome this?
