Omg you sound just like me!!!! Everyone I know pretty much knows my problem with cheese!!!!! And I mean serious I eat every single meal with cheese aside from desert and cereal things like that!
I’ve been gluten free my whole life and my favorite breads are the Whole Foods brand gf white bread and the udi’s white bread. Udi’s also makes foo burger rolls and muffins and I believe their products are also dairy free! Against the grain has great baguettes but I believe they contain dairy. For snacks and crackers I love glutino crackers, vans crackers, vans gf waffles, purely Elizabeth granola, and popcorners. I also love caulipower gf pizzas. Make sure you’re getting gluten free certified oats! Most oats are processed with wheat which is why they aren’t normally gf! I really hope this helped and good luck with your gf journey!

This is sooooo helpful, I don’t usually have bad skin but lately… um ehhh.. lol. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that yeah farms sometimes treat cows terribly, but my dad was a farmer growing up and he told me that it’s actually bad for a cow not to get uttered or whatever you call it. Because milk builds up in the utters and if you don’t get the milk out it can seriously hurt the cow and cause infection or even death. So, what’s really worse exactly? So it’s kind of a good thing to purchase milk and help out the farmers financially but also the cows! (I mean you really don’t have to though, just let someone else buy the milk lol)

I stopped consuming dairy but noticed most of the “cheese replacements” had Modified Food Starch aka Monosodium glutamate aka MSG.
I didn’t give up dairy to replace it with that shit.

I had to cut dairy, beef, nuts, sports drinks, and caffeine from my diet for my youngest child. He had GERD and a cows milk protein allergy. Beef would cause his eczema to flare. Lactose tolerance is actually a mutation our bodies developed to cope with us insisting on eating it. The reason that very few people are fully tolerant is because the mutation is still developing (not a science person just what i know/have heard)

Do you not like decaf? Your chill pills already have L-theanine, the stuff in green tea. Also, maybe try the lowfodmap elimination diet?
But Chelsea, you still can enjoy chips! They make really good sweet potato ones cooked in only coconut oil (good non-hydrogenated healthy oil). And then regular potato chips in avocado or olive oil with sea salt. Totally still healthy:-)

Ive realized that throughout my life that everything is fine in moderation.. Lol if you avoid dairy youll lack vitamin D which effects your vitamin k so you have to take supplement. When your brain tells you your craving food its normally because ur lacking something like when you want chinese food it could be lack of iron from all of the peanut oil. I had an amazing doctor explain all of that to me and it makes sense..

Ive got really bad acne like really bad lol month 5 on accutane and like if anything its only gotten worse but Im finally accepting the fact that its all my fault. I love dairy and I stopped drinking milk, I used to have like 3-4 glasses of milk just from drinking it not including like cereal and stuff but I stopped that like a few months ago. I still love cheese and love yogurt and like anything dairy though but I need to cut it out cause im done with my face looking the way it does. Also Ive been eating sugar and processed foods like at this point I have to stop blaming it on accutane not working and my diet lol. Honestly, I stopped drinking milk because I saw what cow milk has in it and it grossed me out so I drank soya (i’ve always loved soya anyway) but like a few months down the line I drank a dessert milkshake like a huge one and found out the hard way that i now don’t have the lactose digestive enzyme so food that “contains milk” although not based on it makes me suffer so ya
Me and you are on the same page. I’ve been having horrible stomach issues and I recently (like 2 weeks ago) went on the FODMAP diet where you cut out so much and reintroduce stuff to find out what you’re intolerant to. I think it’s gluten and possibly dairy:/

Ive limited my dairy intake for a couple months now meaning if i want a little cheese on top of something I wont say no but nothing else and really I have noticed less bloating.. I also paired it with chugging tons of water
Okay this might sound weird, but your stomach aches could be caused by too much fiber. About a year ago I went vegan/vegetarian on and off and then I went paleo. It majorly increased my fiber intake and I found myself with constant stomach aches. I even developed gastritis for a little while from simply eating too much fiber. Nuts, seeds, grains, too many veggies, etc. It was just too difficult for my body to digest. I thought I was having food allergies and started cutting out everything, dairy, gluten, etc. but nothing made a difference. I thought I had IBS for a while. I would eat things I didn’t want to because they were'”good for me” like nuts and seeds. Turns out they just hurt my stomach, oddly enough. As soon as I reduced my fiber intake, my symptoms went away. I thought I would tell you because going back to eating things in moderation rather than an overload of “healthy” foods that can sometimes become too much for your body helped me so much. Maybe it will help you too!:)

Hey chelsea, most of (normal) cheese is dairy free, e.g. gouda and cheddar. In the process of becoming cheese the normal.milk gets dairy free. Maybe you can check this out and have cheese on your sandwich again:-)

Anything you want to eat, there’s pretty much ALWAYS gonna be a VEGAN & CRUELTY-FREE version of it. Whether it’s a meal or a food ingredient. You don’t need to eat innocent SENTIENT beings, there’s SO much mock meat available, like a company you have access to in the US and Canada, Gardein etc. So much variety. You don’t need to eat egg mayo’s, with brands like Veganaise… is it called? Existing. I know Hellmanns has a VEGAN mayo too. But anyway, with dairy, cheese, you were like “no more cheese for me! βΉ” yet you never thought about the fact you could just eat vegan cheese now? I mean, that’s great you’re dairy free now! Cause you aren’t a baby cow needing to consume cows milk, so now you are dairy free just eat vegan alternatives, great that you drink almond milk etc, but now go find yourself some vegan cheese you’ll love. Like maybe Chao, Follow Your Heart, the US and Canada has so many options! I’m jealous. Literally please try vegan cheese! You can still eat cheese, just VEGAN it’s not difficult.

Eating gluten free without a diagnosis can lead to actual intolerance. You need to get tested. You will have to eat gluten for those tests…to measure your body’s response. Which means switching without a clarified medical diagnosis is counterintuitive. Also you’re more likely to develop allergies to other types of food due to an unnecessary switch. If you are legitimately concerned about your health having a diagnosis and someone to make sure that your antibodies are low is very important. I am a Celiac sufferer. Believe me eating gluten free because of the idea that it’s beneficial can actually hurt you in the long run without tests to prove it is unnecessary.

Hey girl, not trying to come at your neck whatsoever! Just want to make sure that if you’r telling your audience what you’re consuming in a day, I feel like you should explain why you are taking it/eating it. For example, you are taking turmeric supplements in the morning which is awesome for inflammation! Maybe explain why your body could be inflamed? I take turmeric suppies every morning because I wanted a natural anti inflammatory aside from taking ibuprofen everyday to combat my tendonitis pain for my knees. As for another thing, bananas are great for after your workout but like I said before, maybe you should explain why you use them or put them in your shakes after the gym aside form just making your shake thicker and more creamy. Bananas are great for after the gym because your body needs quick and easily digestible carbs right after a workout and therefore allows your body to stay efficient with nutrients instead of deficient. I personally just decide to put in my body what it needs and what it wants, versus just throwing things in there just because they taste good or that “I’ve heard this is healthy”. I believe research behind every dietary decision is super important. Again, I’m not trying to undermine your video in any way but I feel as though if you’re going to talk about food and educate your audience on what you’re eating, then explain why you eat those things and what they are internally beneficial for. I understand you are not a dietitian but if you decide to do a video like this, those implications come along with that. Omg im the same with chips i love them so much. Im trying to stop eating them as much as possible but ugh its so hard sometimes i substitute regular potato chips with plantain or quinoa chips and it sort of helps!

I usually do not eat dairy so this would be easy for me. I want to go vegan but I live in a very small town where my nearest Ulta is about an hour and a half away. So whole foods is even farther! I’m not a vegan but I’m extremely lactose intolerant and I didn’t find out until I was 18, I’m 20 now and after I completely cut it out of my life I was down to 150 Becuase dairy destroy my body’s ability to process food. I live in a house full of people who don’t understand my problem so this helps

This might sound meaningless to you… but I have a request as a dairy goat owner.
Goat milk and cow milk are IMMENSELY different. ie over 90% of lactose intolerant people are fine with goat milk.
When you are talking about the negatives of dairy ie acne) please mention this is a cow dairy experience.
Goat milk (and cheese) is more beneficial than cow milk.

“may contain milk” is okay! that means it’s not an ingredient and it’s not intentionally added in, but it’s just an allergy warning for anyone severely allergic to milk, since there’s a possibility of cross contamination. it’s just another way of saying it’s made in a factory that also uses milk. the chances of there being any traces of milk in the product are very slim:)

If you decide to take a gluten sensitivity/allergy blood test, make sure you are eating gluten at least two weeks before. If you take the test and you have eliminated gluten from your diet it will give you a false negative:) I have celiac disease and it just happened out of the blue so the more gluten you consume, you can trigger an autoimmune response over time. That can explain why you might be having issues now. Hope this helps!

Yeah experimenting cutting out stuff that upsets your stomach is good, sadly sometimes you have to find out the hard way what your body isn’t tolerant to, felt that one personally
