I remember a few years back, I always used to watch this channel. Joanna was my inspiration and I was always motivated to lose weight and be healthy. fast forward a few years to current day, and I’m literally the most lazy piece of sh**, and I’ve gained around 11 kg. even worse, I’ve lost my motivation to do anything about it. I’m so sick of feeling unhappy with myself but stuck on what to do. Ahh. idk if people can relate or not anyway, you go gurl Joannah!
Tyramine found in Ripe Avacados as well as Olives cause migraine to me. So I can no longer eat them.
I have heard raw ones don’t have so much Tyramine. Also my Ayurveda dr asked me to go slow on Avacados, bananas and mangoes. I don’t know why.

1. Chia seeds

6 yrs ago I lost 110 lbs, and over the past year ive gained 20.
My daughter is overweight, and im getting back there.
I was healthy as a kid, and we ate oatmeal damn near every morning.
So i made a batch of crock pot steel cut oats this past week. I went out and bought flax seeds and a coffee grinder and hemp seeds and sunflower seeds and chia seeds. And I put them in a Tupperware in my fridge.
Every morning this week we’ve been eating steel cut oats, and I sprinkle about a 1/3 cup of the ground seed mixture over the top rim of her bowl of oats to make “hair” and I give her pieces of fruit to make a smiley face.
It’s been the best thing ever.

Flax seed is best when you roast it lightly before griding it, it releases it’s oil when roasted and it becomes more digestable
another good one to enjoy at least every other day, is mushrooms, those are so healthy for the gut and make up a totaly seperate food group for they are no plants
You can add all the colour you like with vegetables but the vitamins and minerals are more abundant from meat and fish and eggs. Add all the vegetables you like but you won’t get a lot of extra out of them.
The best omega 3 source is fish, Salmon, Sardines, especially Cod. Cod liver oil.

About calcium: I doubt that those high recommendations are correct because recommendations vary from country to country and it might have something to do with the dairy industry being an influence. I try not to rely on fortified things and to get from whole plants what I can. So if I eat normally I get about 300mg calcium per day and I got my blood tested and my calcium is completely fine:)
