Could you please do a video on feeling nauseated during menopause. I am almost caught up on your amazingly informative videos, but I don’t think I have heard mention of this yet. For me it comes about between the time of cramps and flow. Never actually vomit, but feel as though I am about to.

Actually, part of what you said here is not true. Menopause has been proven to cause weight gain because of the hormone issues and cortisol. I have already spoken to two OB/GYN‘s three nutritionists and they all have shown me studies linking the two. I have seen it with my own eyes as well. When a dear a friend of mine who is in her 30s had to have an emergency hysterectomy and her body was forced into early menopause because of it… She had always been rail thin and then immediately began gaining weight because of her hormone levels. Many of us cannot or will not do hormone replacement therapy because of the dangers associated. I have always been a size 2 and have gained 18 pounds in the last two years from menopause… Nothing had changed, nothing and I am not an old person either. You shouldn’t be spreading false information. Yes age causes weight gain but menopause and weight gain are absolutely linked. Please read the medical information.

Bad hip broke Fumer in 2008.just got back in the Gym and I Feel Alive again. My husband is on dialysis. And I take care of my Father who just turned 80.and my step mom who has Dementia and on Oxygen. I try and walk everyday, normal and brisk walking pace. I do stretching exercises. I was doing too strenuous exercises and started to notice joint pain. I do a bit of Tai Chi the more gentle, beginner exercises. Loads of videos on you tube on that.
I just LOOVE every time I hear how we are to get all this sleep. Sounds great. I’d LOOOVE for that to happen. But every night for 7 years now…I wake up and CAN’T get back to sleep for hours. Then I have to get up at 4am for work. Sooo… how do you get that 7 to 8 hrs of sleep?????? I’ve tried everything. It’s 2:12 am as I type this because…. as usual I woke up and did my usual toss and turning and gave up.

I think also genetics plays a role in how and where we gain weight. My Grandpa and my dad gained weight in the belly and I do too. So having that genetically gives me a double whammy when it comes to weight gain in the belly, plus I had a hysterectomy at age 54.

Actually I found a much easier way… rub a little iodine/potassium iodide on your belly half dollar size circle and my belly fat pealed off… I also read that if you have fibroids, cysts or even some cancers it will help rid those…

Great info! I just turned 46 last month and my metabolism is finally slowing down. This provoked a lot of frustration so I began to do a good bit of research and while everything you are saying sounds great, I have heard the opposite about doing HIIT. The reasoning behind this is that it increases you’re cortisol. I spent the entire summer trying to get rid of the stubborn 10 pounds I had put on my midsection over winter and once I finally accepted this theory it seemed to help! I now just keep a cardio pace that is comfortable and does not cause too much exertion. This took a very long time for me to finally embrace and adapt to as this is not how is not how I typically trained in the past but it really helped me!:)

Eating foods high in protein, green veggies salads with spinach, less carbs, and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar a day, and exercise has helped me lose my belly fat. You need to cut down on sugar and carb intake, especially carbs. Get rid of foods with high fructose corn syrup, no soda pop or junk foods! Eat good fats like walnuts, raw almonds, raw nuts, avocados in moderation. I’m going to be 57 this month and doing intermittent fasting has helped me so much, I feel much better!! Planks do help among other exercises out there. Don’t ever be discouraged with losing belly fat. It will happen when you work at it!! You got this!!
Great advice but after having cancer they put me on a medication for 5 years that adds the fat omg help me I newer stop exercising I do sleep well I’m vegan but eat a lot of fruit so is that my problem I swim daily weight train walk 1/2 hr everyday too little bit of yoga

So i had total hysterectomy due my endometrial cancer so i have menopause at age 44 i tried core and ab work out and i end up having really bad lower back pain. I changed my diet etc nothing really works,will take your advice and try full strength body workout lets pray for good results as i really get annoyed with my belly fat.

I have hypermobile issues and a very unstable neck due to the way my shoulders sit. Any sort of crunch is bad for me and leaves me in debilitating pain and migraines. If anyone has this same issue, a great alternative and even better workout for abs is an earthquake. Use a Pilates ball (also known as a bender ball) under the sacrum for support and lean back slightly with an open chest and flat back. You can add all sorts of exercises onto this or just do this alone.
Side note: the Pilates ball or bender ball is a small inflatable ball that is not to be inflated fully. It’s supposed to have a bit of squish in it. These are great for many things but a key asset when trying to build abdominals that are weak without turning on the back muscles or girdle area in the lower back.

I train 6 times a week running from 3 to 7 miles on my running machine, planking, and on my cross trainor, and love my weights. I don’t drink or smoke, and have a lovely 5-year old daughter and our dog. Thanks once again xxx

I have issuse with belly, hormones, etc etc. Gain so much weight. But im tall. If im short im gonna be big balloon . My yoga teacher told me that im defense of something but we gonna talk about that this morning. I think that is the point: but don’t blame me for this. We all excepted too much, first reduce the stress level than quit coffie, i read somewhere that coffie is quilty for kortizol high level. Than, cut meal portion, no more sugar, im not taking sugar but bread is my problem. Than, do some detox and fasting as time is ok. Than most important is sport any kind or yoga or dance. When you are dancing you hormones of happines is on so also that reduce lot of things. Yoga is very good for everything. And you can also “cut” dome person from your life either.

I went through menopause 17 years ago. After being post menopausal no one avoids post menopausal belly fat. Even if you stay skinny you gain 2 to 5 inches on your waist line. If you get lipo suction or that lasar lipo fat removal it could help a woman get a curve back to her waist. We also have hot flashes. Hot flashes wake me up about 12 times a night that I can remember and this is 17 years Im living with this. No gyn will give me hormone replacement therapy. They insist hrt will give me a stroke.

I have tested many weight reduction plans already but not one of them offered me the final results like I acquired out of this “Yamzoko Weebly” (Google it) process. It’s a choice like anything, especially when it comes to attitude and priorities. As an older petite woman, it’s definitely challenging but I focus on healthy eating i.e. mostly veggies and chicken or fish, very little dairy. No flour or sugar because it made me sluggish and bloated. It’s hard but worth it when you wake up with energy. A defeatist attitude will absolutely drain you. I do weights at home daily for 20 minutes and walk after dinner which ends by 6 PM. Find what works for you but don’t give up. My dad died from dementia and heart disease and my genetics are bad but that is not a guarantee I will have the same ending if I do my best for my own health. Menopause can be a minor inconvenience if you make an effort to take care of your mind and body.
This is the best video out there for advice on menopause, I’m 48 facing that change I’m 137 pounds from 122, I will follow the tips here. Saved me from having to go see my OBGYN.
