@BytomGirl totally, couldn’t have said it better myself! People going on these diets don’t have a clue what they are getting themselves into. If you eat a wholegrain diet with lots of vegetables you will loose weight because healthy diets don’t allow for obesity. Obesity only occurs with unhealthy diets.
can you eat nuts on this diet? I am going to try this out, I am so disappointed in myself over the holidays. I have a feeling any weight I gain is from alcohol cordials that I indulge in this time of the year. I actually ate eggs and jello years ago and lost weight never knew it was a diet. Another pseudo science diet that is actually incredibly dangerous for your health. The best nutritional research will tell you eating that much animal protein is the worst thing you can do for you health. Read ‘The China Study’.

This diet great it will change your bad habit to good the way you eat! I believe you eat more healthy and natural food with dukan diet and its much better than to eat whatever its comes to your mind like fast food snacks (with many bad ingredients in) etc.
After 1 month your body will wake up mentally and physically. If you planing to start dont care how long it will take to achieve your goal get used to it and enjoy how you will feel!

@barryrodgers Short term fixes never work in the long run. And this is not a short term diet. Eating such a small amount of carbs and such a small amount of fiber is, however, going to have long term negative health effects. If you read the China Study you will be convinced that animal protein isn’t good for you. If you are fat you should look at what’s unhealthy in your diet. People in China eat high carb, low animal protein diets and are much skinnier and healthier then us.

I have actually employed this particular “Yamzοkο Weebly” (Google it) for some weeks by now and the results are astounding. They provide me plenty of energy as well as control my appetite, however I do NOT crash once they wear off which I love, and they also don`t make me jittery. I have not changed everything else I am doing and also have lost 7 lbs..

This diet really has worked for me as well and I highly recommend it. Have been watching your videos when I first started and find myself going back to them when I need advice. the only thing I worry about is people will eat allot of meet fried in bad fats and get other issues 1 of them being cholesterol etc
HIGH FAT LOW CARB is the best diet. Eat lovely easy to get food and the fat melts. Portion control is not required. Natural fats only, no fruit, and only veg above ground. Amazing and practical diet. Forget phases, charts, eating dull pure protein food.

Dukan diet is well known in France (where dukan comes from) to be a very dangerous diet. In 2014, Dukan has been permanently banned from the French National Medical Council.
I just want to point out that dukan’s diet is NOT fat heavy at all. On the contrary fat is banned. My levels while dieting were simply perfect. i was surprised in fact. Now I am a sporty and still young(ish) guy so I am not sure i would suggest this to somebody that has to loose a lot of extra weight or to my 76 yo mother. But for me it worked (and works whenever i put on some weight) just perfectly. And it really thought me 1. how to cook 2. how to give up most of unnecessary fat and carbo. I am italian so I was not used to eat meat at all. Once a month maybe… I think I finally found a balance between animal food and mediterranean food; I am honestly quite enthusiastic about this diet. I did not expect these results both in terms of weight loss and long time cooking knowledge 😉
You are much more organized than I am. I do keep a journal of my journey but not of what I will have for the week. I’m officially 14 days in and lost 7 pounds. I have a much longer way to go than you did. I noticed when I added veggies I gained a pound which was very sad but it finally started coming off today after a full week on veggies.
I lost 25 kg on Dukan in 4 months. It was the easiest diet for me without gravings and anxiety. Its been 5 years since and Ive pretty much maintained my weight,give or take 2kg.

Starting my fourth day of the attack phase and already lost 4 pounds…which sounds like too much..BUT..if you knew what I ate/drank before you would understand. I do feel so much better already. Here is my problem. I’m worried about going on vacation. I’m worried about losing all the ground I made, and I’m going to France of all places..home of the croissant. Home of baguettes and cheese and wine and champagne and pain au chocolat and everything else that is forbidden. I need to decide whether to give up on diet during vacation and just start over when I return..or give up on eating pleasures and just enjoy all the other amazing things about France. I’m torn.

Sorry I somehow cut off a bit of the video explaining how to calculate howlong you should be on the Transitional Phase. For every pound you have lost up until now you must x this by 5, this gives you the number of days you should be on the Transitional Phase. So in my case 16 x 5 = 80 days.
