Thnkew so much your all videos are so much effective and informative once again thnx
i agree the HIIT is a great way to burn fat. But, personally HIIT burns me the fuck out. I would rather walk at a steady pace on an incline and still burn fat and sweat a ton.
He did say that people should work their way to higher heart rates gradually. That seems sensible to me. Nothing wrong with advising people to work their way upwards
also they don’t need to be that dark/ thick and huge..just saying:)
Why do you remind me of Mac from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia
do you have a low impact version of this? I can’t jump with my knee problems.
why don’t you explain how that fat lady was wasting her time??
Hiking (up hills and mountains), great for cardio if you go fast enough and strengthens the lower body.
Hey guys and gals! Here’s those 3 set ups I talk about to use with these moves! https://redefiningstrength.com/3-killer-interval-workout-designs/
I’m always confused by this, I thought anaerobic conditions (roughly HR above 155 for a 33 year old man) burn predominantly glycogen with a little bit of fat and lower intensities burn mostly fat with a little bit of glycogen? I started cycling around my house the past six months, its extremely hilly (4500 feet climbing in 17 miles on my loop), my heart rate would be very highΒ climbing up the short steep hills: 175-192 bpm, then low coming down the hill: 140-130bpm…basically interval training, it would take me about 1 and a half hours. I got way faster on the bike and my leg muscles grew a lot but I burned almost no fat. Now I’m doing base miles, 2+ hours at around 135bpm and my body fat is definitely going away. I kept thinking along the lines that the fat burning zone is a myth but low and behold when I started doing it, it actually worked where as interval training did not.
Can I just say that, I get sooo much help out if you examples and information. Thx bunches. Keep posting!
What do you recommend for those that are morbidly obese? Perhaps you could make informational how to on starting points for those that are trying to get into shape!
I just subscribed! I enjoy your video. These are some great tips. What is wrong with your eyebrows???
LOL! Thanks again.
Form is key but old bodybuilding is to to lift heavy as you can and work down until you can’t carry no more (shock the muscle for results)
Some of this I already knew and some gave me an improved perspective on things I only thought I knew. Answers to the questions we all occasionally ask ourselves (into the mirror as we work out) are the ones you have an uncanny ability to focus upon quite often. There is no worse enemy to one’s consistency than to think you may be executing your routine to less than maximum advantage. Your videos all seem to keep this all-important constant in view.
Very well presented and highly-detailed

I’d say about 30% to 50% of 20-30 yr olds do their excercises wrong, going to about at the very least 50-75% or more doing excercises wrong zhen you’re 40-60 yrs old cuz you all either wanna be able to lift more than you can handle and your fragile masculinity cant handle less weight.
I agree with an earlier comment. Your channel stands out as professional grounded in a true knowledge of body mechanics. I love your delivery as well good cues. Thanks so much
And they say going to the gym is easy, this is why I have to look at 20 videos before I try a new exercise
Lets not forget, smith leg extensions BAD, rotator spine smith thing, BAD, upright rows BAD,
Best thing: Rings
This is an out of the is world fantastic workout. Great explanation and great great instructions
0:42 lateral hop bulldog
2:00 half burpee
3:07 squat double lunge
4:19 crawl with sit thru

Please we would love you to make a full video combined the strechest workout and this HIIT.
Bagaimana cara menaikkan berat badan bagi mereka yang memiliki berat badan yang sangat kurus, saya sudah mencoba berbagai cara tapi berat badan saya tidak kunjung naik?
Explained so well. Love the workouts a real challenge yet safe
I apologize if I have overlooked it. But have you ever posted any of your diet preferences that correlate in reducing body fat contributing to leanness? Thanks
Thank you. I’m a total rookie trying to add some weight on my own. This is a BIG help!
I love ur way to make exercise easy the that r tough. Because ur way of doing them easy way. Love u
Hi I am finding that most of your videos are structured around athletes, and for younger age groups. Some of us including myself can not sit upwards with legs stretching out. We all have to be guided from a starting point to get anywhere near you are demonstrating. Thanks
With skull crushers, Athlean X says to go all the way behind your head down toward the floor. What do you think about that? He says to not go to your head..
Finally a channel that has relevant and informative content, no fluff, no filler, thank you.
How effective is Custokebon Secrets? We have noticed several awesome things about this popular lose weight diet plan.
Thanks for putting non-jumping versions of these moves. I looked at it and was like “yeah, if I try this I’m just going to roll my ankle again”.
now 5 fat burning moves that doesn’t require jumping for those that don’t want so much impact on the knees. Half burpee is good though:)
Just starting back up after a 20 year break. Not ready to go full out just yet. Still getting restarted however; I really like that you offer a good program to start Serious workouts with all the amenities. Keep posting. Your an awesome guide
Love your commitment, delivery and enthusiasm….IΒ΄m 63…been active throughout…work outs include isotonic, isometric, step cardio, bands, etc. Your videos fine tune and condition the body above and beyond….awesome!
So clear & concise while describing all the movements and variations. Loving that I found her YouTube channel -Redefining Strength.
Thanks for including low impact options, my downstairs neighbors appreciate it
very well explained and combination of the workout. Well done.
speaking about tst and GH levels, Elliott said they are actually elevated by low intensity cardio (if I understood him properly), but anyway, I have read studies about the fact, that naturally elevated tst and gh levels do not give you any advantage when trying to build muscle (in comparison to drugs usage)
These are GREAT exercises!!!!!!
I don’t like running….
only because my neighborhood has too much traffic, and horrible sidewalks.
And forget about me even thinkin, of goin running in the winter time. lol
But I can do all of these in my basementall season.
Would regular jogging outside for about 30 mins a day be good?
Why didn’t I discover your channel before. It has no junk and pure substance.
Cori, watching you do push ups is everything. You are such an inspiration, to women. β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ
Damn brother thank you for taking time to make these videos for us.
I always do dips facing the opposite side of the machine. For some reason I feel like a target’s my triceps more but I am going to stop going so low on those reps
I like the idea of “outside of the box” cardio but most of these exercises seem to be too explosive or strength based, things you might do in circuit training and if you’re already training for these things then they could contribute to over training rather than cardio.
Where were you gal?? LOving your videos… I m sure now i know what i have to do to be in my best and healthiest body form…
Great, I’ll take exercise advice from a skinny guy. Thanks YouTube!
Good job bro β€β€
Did 3 out of these 5 moves and my ass was sweating! Will definitely keep at them. Lots of love from South Africa
Your videos don’t disappoint one bit! So many amazing tips, advice and tons of inspiration! My quarantine has become even more transformative as I always thought the only place to workout was at the gym! Thank you again, Cori!
How did I not find this channel before? You are so knowledgeable and great at teaching! Thank you!
HIIT works, I also get pissed off seeing grossly overweight people go to the gym and sit down and barely peddle a bike for 2 hours, and talk to each other
I have a question, i’m 20 years old, my maximum heartrate is 200. I do my cardio for a minimum 20 minutes five times a week, and my heartrate is always between 160-175, is that good for losing fat and for my overall health? Thankyou.
Seriously, I agree with the person that said you should have over a million plus subscribers! Your AWESOME!
Gosh man..you have one eyebrow black..another one completelly different..You look like you making fun of us:D
You are one of the very few on line trainers that I have encountered who actually knows what they’re talking about. Your presentation and delivery is spot on. Informative, non judgemental and just plain helpful.
You are clearly a strong athlete minus the ridiculous hoopla. As a woman, I appreciate that you don’t speak like a valley girl from the 90’s.
All your work-outs are so well explained, I appreciate all the information about every single detail. You greatly stand out from any other channel in every aspect! Kudos to you!
PS I have included all these to my daily routine, I really enjoy every single movement
Gracias
Love this…I have just found you…thank you…you are beautiful strong..great job..J
Haha lol i watched Elliot too, it’s fun how they contradict each other.
Dufeer… Tell how to do proper exercise!!! Not how to do not do that exercise
You seriously have the best videos that include the science. I love it! No doubt you’ll explode soon. Best wishes!
I actually started doing dips, pull ups as half reps first and a few weeks later i started doing 1-3 reps the way i was supposed to,your body can adapt and you will develop strength for the movement just know when you do them,do them as negatives go down slow, and try to hold it you will gain strength in those areas and start to do them naturally.
0:42 lateral hop bulldog
2:00 half burpee
3:07 squat double lunge
4:19 crawl with sit thru
6:07 banana split
I’m very love this video but i can’t to understand the video all because i don’t very good in English i wish from u if can translating to Arabic when we can all us understand to u and i very love ur channel and fitness see my comment please
Well no your thumbnail is wrong. You shouldn’t be making these videos when you don’t actually know anything yourself. The reason why standing up straight is good is because it targets your triceps by themself rather than engaging your back and shoulders which help with the movement and give you less gains. Maybe a bit of research next time
I am Brazilian and I admire your work which is excellent… I would like to know if I can use 15g of your videos and create a recommended post for your channel… you can find it on the Redefining Strength channel and much more here is the link. I recommend.
Please, if you can, give me back, I appreciate it. my e-mail is bomcorpo@ gmail.com
i have a question about skullcrushers… can u put the barbell behind ur head but without moving ur elbows? just to protect ur elbows
When doing the tricep extensions, do you recommend we lock out our elbows at the bottom of the exercise, or would that cause damage to our elbows?
Nailed it! You are this Trainer’s Trainer. Respect.β€βββοΈ
His dumbbell bench is wrong keep your arms out a little more or your going to hit your triceps more than chest
redefining strength valuable work no:288 [29hours:1minute:38secs}of valuable content.
Guys. lost lots of weight does not need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I’m going to give you some advice now. Get a popular diet plan program called Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google). Thanks to it I’ve lost tons of weight. I probably should not even be talking about it cause I don’t really want a lot of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I’m just simply in a great mood right now so I will share the wealth haha.
What is up with the eyebrow OMG! Great info. Please fix brows
I like the form and modifications explained in your videos and the reps are up to me.Thanks
thanks allot..I’ve lost about 92 lbs.and I challenge myself every day..its amazing what the body is callable of once you dare yourself to try.. blessings
I really like this! Would you suggest each of these for a minute x 3 reps?
Just discovered your channel. Your content is fantastic! I teach special needs students and many of your modified exercises will be perfect to incorporate into their phys ed routines. Thanks!!!
Im 320 i do 30 minutes on the treadmill at incline 3.0 and 3.0 speed and my heartrate sits at 120 to 130 and im 32 but recently iΒ have been doing the elyptical for 5 min and my heart rate gets to 140 to 150 and im 5 4
I’m in love with your channel! The exercises are great and the way you explain them really help! Thank you very much! And you are a very carismatic person!
4:31-75 degrees…. dude I do maths at university and I know that I won’t get that right
AMAZING! you’re a little stylish tank . I just can’t praise you enough. Wow. Please do share your diet too.
Asking for my GF, can she get muscles like yours just by doing bodyweight exercise?
how do you avoid being catabolic? no one wants to start burning away precious muscle thats going to help burn fat.
Thank you for such amazing content and for giving clear explanations of each exercise.
Wow, this was a great vid! I have been struggling with a stress fracture in my foot and have not been able to do any real cardio. I look forward to working on the banana split for cardio and additional core work, now, since it has zero foot impact!
This would be good to incorporate into a flow. PS love the leggings!
Is Custokebon Secrets effective to lost a lot of fat? We’ve learn many good things about this popular weight loss diet plan.
Will try streches for hips. The exercises in place of treadmill better for my 20 yr old kid.
Crazy I been doing everything right a lot of it is common sense. You should be able to feel your muscle engaged. I hate when I see people do those momentum moves with the lat pulls.
I love that crawl exercise. I notice hockey players do this move during their off season training.
Ive been following you for years. You have never failed to dish out fantastic content and great ideas for training !
4:40 you said that Asian guy is wrong but 4:48 the black guy is correct with that same posture…….?????
I can really suggest you working on your push up form, your elbows should not point to the side that much, it also leads to a slighty off shoulder placement in your case. Perfect example right there, with some variety: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpgWK7wYMU4&t=547s
still a great video, thank you:)
So good! I love your workouts and all your technical tips.
On the tricep push down, a dude at my gym said to stick my arms out even further and stick my butt out more and imagine there’s a bar under my arms that prevents my arms from going down further. What do you think about this? Creates a bigger angle.
What is Custokebon Secrets? We have noticed many amazing things about this popular lose weight methods.
Hi! I am a new follower and I just can’t help myself from saying thank you for giving options for those in different levels of fitness from you. This way we can actually still workout properly, get the benefits of it without getting frustrated that we can not do the specific workout you just stated thinking that its the ONLY way to do it.
Glad to have found your channelβ€
I did modified double lunge squat today to work on my balance and coordination. I’ll repeat crawl with sit thru tomorrow
Your workouts and instructions are excellent!!!! I’m hooked! Thank you!!!
I’ve heard completely different about bench ahhhh I don’t know who to believe
I have heard from a few people to not do lat pulldowns any further than to your ear level. Anyone have any science based evidentiary support to support or refute this claim? Thanks if so…
I feel like this video is a personal attack on me.
But for real, these tips are really useful. I realized I did some (or many) of these wrong and now I know what to pay extra attention to.
Hi from Singapore. I came across your channel about a month ago n I’m hooked. You explain things so well so I know what I am doing and for what. You’re the best. Highly recommended for beginners n advanced. Thank you!
If I do pull-ups and chin ups every workout, do I even need to do lat pull downs?
Nah, he said that people shouldn’t be afraid to challenge themselves. He also gave instructions on how to do high intensity training. 220 minus your age is way to high to build up your cardio without working in the aerobic zone which is 180 minus your age. What he’s recommending is dangerous.
I hear a lot of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets. But I’m not sure if it is good. Have you ever tried using this popular lose weight diet plan?
I was doing the tricep extension the wrong way because I was told not to lean too much
I only have the stamina to walk/jog right now, but that get’s my heart going real good… and I try to keep my heart rate elevated… so I jog as far as I can… when i get tired I walk (briskly) then catch my breath and jog again… I go out about 20 minutes a day
This is the second day in a row that my family will be eating oatmeal for dinner since I am once again distracted by trying out Cori’s workouts! I’m loving this and on too much of an endorphine rush to care about all of the complaints on dinner π
Interval training has increased my cardiovascular conditioning beyond what I thought was possible. I’ve now slashed 4 minutes off my best 6000 meter rowing time. I can blast away now and even leave some of the men behind. Interval training is the ticket. It trains any normal heart to become super fit. I have to drink loads afterwards though because my T shirt and shorts get very soggy!
I was doing 35 mins of interval training on the rower the other day & when I was trying to focus, these 2 idiot women sat on the rowers next to mine and started to gossip for 15 minutes whilst doing a snail-like 3.30 / 500metres pace. There is nothing more annoying than these time wasters who turn up smothered in makeup, just there to chat. There’s also this guy who comes in solely to chat. I move away from him now even when he’s trying to talk to me. They should try the pub instead
Mam please make a full video of a workout without break and also no explanation….
I did this today, and I swear its very hard and enervating. I thought of doing cardio core pyramid burner after this, but I started feeling dizzy after completing this. Thanks for such a great workout
Great Tipps. You and our channel are truly helpful, competent and simply great.
Keep it up
Everybody always talks about proper form. If you watch Ronnie Coleman videos, you can see his form is really loose. He does half reps on almost all exercises. So what to do? Hell I don’t know.
Thanks for tuning in, hope you guys enjoy the video. One mistake that I do want to correct in this video is with skull crushers. You can in fact go behind the head with this exercise as long as you’re doing it in a controlled way without using the momentum from your lats. The same points still apply though, make sure you keep your elbows tight and dont swing with the shoulders. Also as far as excessively arching on the bench press i meant to have khalid lift his hips off the bench. That would be considered excessive. As long as your hips stay on the bench you should be alright.
Tried all these (except mucky garage floor!) today as part of some lockdown circuits. I like the creativity in your moves, which give a really good ‘bang for buck’. The crawl sit throughs were much more difficult than I expected! Next time, I need to move them to the front of the workout, to give them the quality they need. Thanks, Cori.
uhm the limbo bro curl is a serious lift bro check Arnolds form and if I have to tell you what lift it is should you be telling people…
I’ve been jogging quite regurarly for many years now. What would you recommend to maximize strength/stamina/cardio, in terms of running style and such. Would it be better to have shorter and more intense sessions, or do intervals for example? I don’t want to burn fat though because I’m very skinny.
He’s wrong about the skull crushers. Watch some videos from someone who actually has a degree and knows what he’s talking about. Jeff Cavaliere from AthleanX.
Love each and every video of yours.. you are one of those very few people on YouTube who talk sense.. keep posting
Cory, great video with very creative variations. The science of fitness training has come so far in the last 10 years its hard to believe! You are truly inspirational! Unfortunately, after more than 30 years of military service my feet, ankles and knees make a lot of these movements challenging but you motivate me to find a way to do what I can. Thanks!
Excellent content, presentation, camera work and editing. Awesome work!:)
why not just make the eyebrows even? I know about the hair loss issue as I suffer from it too, but I make sure to have even lighting and draw my eyebrows on evenly. It is very distracting to be honest:S
