My unit (manufacturer) says the exact opposite -> little finger or index finger!
I had terrible colic everyday at 6 pm. Back in the day, when a baby cried, they gave the baby a bottle. Many times, colic can be caused be reflux so that was the wrong thing to. I needed massage and tummy time. Such a simple remedy.
Gracias gracias and gracias again!!you save me……..you explanation is so easy to fallow God bless you.
im going thru ekg school, for now its online, and i was lost on the interp, till i saw your video. thank you, you actually saved me and helped me with it. i now understand and got more out of it than my instructor talked about. i will be watching all your videos. again thank you for your videos
I have a relentless case of tennis elbow. I found many of the techniques outlined here very helpful. Thanks so much guys
Hi there. Good video. Helpful. Do you have one that is pretty thorough like this for the other side (i.e. golfers elbow)? Tnx.
I guess if you never babysat in your life you would not know this
I feel that I increase my stride rate on the uphill and decrease on the downhill
Thanks for the Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard about Parlandealey Flexible Elbow Process (do a google search)? It is a smashing one off guide for learning how to cure tennis elbow without the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my BF after many years got cool results with it.
Thanks dude…very nice information which I need to know today…
Great Video, thank you. Immediate relief when I applied the treatment. Just one comment on the video….I’ve got a really nice autographed Patriots football you can have to put in the cabinet.:)
Sorry this is not a good way to measure, it is a good best guess, know I just did some tests and used the device, it was off up to10 to 15 percent.,that is life or death. Brain damage wow.
After fighting my tennis elbow for 8 months, I found these guys and in a couple of weeks of doing what they said, my elbow was incredibly better. (With relief almost immediately) Thanks soooooo much for all you guys do.
Try this for a workout on a flat surface. Run the same pace and change your cadence from 170 for 5 minutes, then 180 for 5 minutes and then 190 for 5 minutes. Most people can’t do this because they aren’t able to control their cadence and stride length because it’s not practiced. Once you can control your cadence and stride length your in a good place to use it as a tool in your running arsenal.
Thank youuuu! This is soooo good and easy to follow.. I’m having to pause in between just to revel at my own understanding of it!! Looking forward to watching more of your vids!
I have the same problem I’m on treatment but my doctors didn’t even tell me what am I suffering from I’m looking for a solution now and I don’t know what is the deases that is killing me
I got mine after 52 years of playing tennis. What caused it?

How a doctor marks the QRS location in 12 lead ECG signals. Which lead is used for accurate R peak marking?
THe look in the baby’s face when the Caretaker put hands on him. Like “damn you again! No oh wait i’m not ready! Not readyyyy!”
interesting points,if anyone else trying to find out how to treat tennis elbow naturally try Elbow Recovery Tactics ( http://elbow.recoverytactics.com/ )? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my partner got excellent results with it.
Cheers for the video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you researched Parlandealey Elbow Strength Process (probably on Google)? It is a great one off product for learning how to stop elbow pain without the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my m8 after many years got cool results with it.
What’s up with all that background noise? Somebody getting Xmas presents wrapped?
It certainly is a good time for this info to come out. Covid 19 has all of us older folks paranoid so we have gotten our own Pulse Oximer. Thanks
This is AMAZING!!! You literally explained something my med surg profs made so completely and utterly confusing and made it absolutely easy to understand and remember!! Bless you!!:D
Please add more information about how it works, what the light wave lengths are called and how they measure oxygen or deoxygenated blood and information on perfusion and the oxygen dissociation curve…bohr and haldane
Please explain this, I know that if the vector is moving towards the exploring electrode and is in the same direction, the deflection should be positive with a large amplitude. Then how in the R wave pattern drawn by the chest leads, the r wave progressively gets larger in amplitudes when it’s representing septal depolarization whose direction is to the right shouldn’t the greatest amplitude be recorded by V1 as it’s the most right places electrode on the chest?? Plz respond.
Hello Bob and Brad! Any recommendation as to whether to do ice massage before the cross friction massage? or vice versa?
how do you increase your stride length? does strength training like weighted lunges and squats helps?

Had to play in 150% forward. Great video though. But it sounded like he was high.
Thank you so much for all the exercises. As its lock down visiting doctors is out of question. These exercises are helping. I’m wondering if I might be abel to use electric tape in place if the brace, especially when I’m sleeping?
Hey Sage, I’m a high school runner who’s track season got cancelled for COVID. Would it be wise to start training for XC or should I focus more on strength training for now?
So many ignorant people in this comment section. Just because people didn’t do something a certain way in the past, does not mean the new ways of doing things are wrong. As humans, we must constantly learn and improve the way we do things. Sure, you can do things the old way, and it may turn out fine, but it isn’t for the best. If your baby doesn’t tolerate being on their stomach on a surface, then just hold the baby against your chest so they can practice using their neck muscles that way.
As for the sleeping on their backs, it reduces risk of suffocation and death. Why risk it? Don’t ignore this advice, it could cost your child’s life. That should be enough motivation to follow it. No matter how big or small the risk, why risk at all, when it comes to your child’s life?
At the end of the day, ask your pediatrician for advice if you are curious about the necessity of things like in this video.
Your Tutorial is very nice.

Very impressive. Thank you for being kind, knowledgeable, and without an attitude! Bravo.
Idk why I’m watching baby videos at this time its almost 3am I need to sleep
damn dude you made it so easy to understand. straight to the point love it
So what if there are blockages? How do you tell if there is a heart blockage?
Thank you guys for yet another great video! I’ve had pain since march and it seemed to abate, but when I did a few press ups to test it out, its hurting worse than ever! It’s such a nuisance, I cant pick up a cup of coffee! I’ve been massaging daily with some oil, but gonna do your exercises now, I want my arm back!!
Be extra wary in purchasing cheap finger oxymetres or finger oxymetres on supposed discount online. I purchased one 2 years ago from a seemingly legit seller on Lazada (I’m based in SEA), and my mother’s SPO2 reading always registered 99 and even 100 this despite the fact that she has three lung ailments and was not hooked on oxygen when I tested the oxymetre repeatedly.
My girl baby is also calm always, like this baby. I love her so much. So cute

You are an excellent teacher! The ability to impart knowledge in a way that the student can understand is a gift that many instructors are lacking. It is obvious you are teaching considering how the information is perceived from the student’s viewpoint!!
I bought here https://mdlet.com/product/portable-oximeter-blood-oxygen-saturation-monitor/
Hi, I am training with HR Zones and I try to have an 180 spm. But when I do have an 180 spm, my HR rate just strikes up. How can I fix this?
My pulse oximeter arrived from Amazon today. I feel like a new man who can ask any woman out. Thank you for your education on my new found confidence device. I am even breathing better.
For mile to 3k to 5k, the strides rate shouldn’t be the same right? 180 seems to be too low for a all out mile…

If you look closely, you can also make out the pattern of electrical alternans caused by the swinging of the heart. The amplitudes slightly increase and decrease as the heart swings closer and further away from the EKG leads in the inflamed paricardial sac.
I’ve been doing a lot of barbell bicep curls using 40kg weights & now my left elbow hurts. I can lift heavy and it’s fine but at night even lifting a blanket it feels like my elbow is gonna snap. Will this muscle therapy help my elbow?
Great info, also like that it sounds like Mitch Hedberg is narrating, lol!
You should this every time you diaper change and let them get a good fit on every time so they get stronger don’t pick them up the minute they start fussing!!!
This video does not actually say how you place your finger into the pulse oximeter. The diagram at 5:08 shows the device clamping the sides of the finger whereas other images on the internet show pulse oximeters clamping the top and bottom. Does it make a difference?
I’m 1,94m and my average cadence is about 158-160 for the tipical Zone 2 runs. I simply cannot increase the cadence when I’m running at a slower pace, I dont know if it has to do with my form or my size.
What is the name of the brace doctors PLEASE…..GREAT VIDEO THANKS
If I’m experiencing the pain on the inside of my elbow, are these exercises and stretches still effective? My pain was brought on by mountain biking.
Totally awesome video,,very informative and easy to understand Thanks again!
If I have the brace do I wear it during these exercises or no?
To loft the head we are not using abdominal muscles.. we are using the erector spinae muscles on the posterior side of the body. Still core muscles but totally opposite from abdominals
6’3, stupidly long legs, heavier than average, and the only way for me to not get shin splints is to have a stupid high stride rate. I’m having a very hard time doing easy runs because when I keep my stride rate high, my speed naturally wants to go up.
I’ve had mild pain for several years. Does that mean it will never fully heal?
You refer to the SA node as ‘a cell’. However it is definitly not a single cell. The SA node consists of multiple cells spread out in a mesh of connective tissue, containing nerves, blood vessels, collagen ground substance and fat. The SA cells are highly specialised atrial cells which have an automatic outflow of Na+ and K+. This is due to hyperpolarisation-activated cyclic nucleotide–gated channels which are open at these very low voltages (which is extremely unusual). Hence, after the repolarisation phase, an action potential will be generated without any extracellular stimulus. The speed at which this outflow happens is influenced by sympathic and parasympathic nerves from the CNS.
Great video, very informative. I’ve recently been getting shin pain and I realised by stride length was too big and my cadence on the low side. I’ve purposely worked on shortening the stride, it’s tough as I’m six foot and more of a sprinter, but it’s getting there
I am taking ekg classes and gosh it’s the hardest. Well explained videos they are great.
OMG!!! Thank you so much for this video! I understood in 12 min, what I couldn’t understand in a 3hr lecture! You are a true life saver!:)))
I use sandhi pulse oximeter. Wanted to know as for how much time finger has to be put inside? And what does the blinking indicate?
Thank you.
On penicillin 4xdaily, 500mg and the liquid ball on my elbow is going no where x
Informative… Can it spread Corona virus if used by multiple users??
I run with barefoot shoes. My cadance is always around 170 and this seems to be going well (i only run 35-40 miles per week but jeah)
superb information…..and its really helpful and very much informative
My forearm hurts but when I pull my hand towards my body, opposite of tennis elbow.
Have you got a series for therapy for that?
My wife says it’s from lifting my phone.
I’m at home very sick and this guy talks like a snail I just want to know when I need to go to the ee
At 180 steps per minute I am doing less than 5:00 minute per mile pace. At 168 SPM I am doing less than 6:00 pace. At 160 SPM I am doing 6:52 pace which is my max half marathon pace.
I am 6’4” with a 36” inseam and I weigh 170 pounds. Am I running with too slow of a cadence?
Who says you can’t learn with the cute heart diagram? I’m finding better than a biological heart diagram
Been working on this for a while and can NOT get over 155spm. My pace is typically in the lower 8 minutes so I’m not sure if it’s because I’m slower but I just can’t seem to figure this one out
I need to return to cadence training with the click in my headphones, in the last 4 months I was so focused on trail and uphill training that I forgot about cadence. My natural cadence oscillates around 160 (height 6.2, weight 242 pounds).
You are too good. No words to appreciate you. Thank you so much for this amazzzzing video. It’s so easy to understand
Eye contact is good with the baby even right away. They are very smart and like to see a happy face and someones eyes and it comforts them too
my height is 172cm, cadence is 168-172, isit okay? or need more improvement on my cadence, my 5k is now sub 19
my favorite doc,
just wanted to let you know ever since I first watched your videos over 2 years ago, I am now a 3rd year medical student and still watching your videos on occasion.
I’ve always struggled to get up to 180, then I’m 6’5 so maybe 165-168 is OK?

These guys are the best. After 40 I’ve had issues and if it weren’t for my physical therapists & and tips from these guys, I would be severely limited athletically. Thanks again Bob and Brad!
Tq sir…. Now only I understand, how to interprite between regular and irregular rythm
Hi I have Asthama since childhood, now I am 39 years old
My SPO2 fluctuate from 88 to 97.
I check every after 1 hour.
this baby is so adorable. rather all the babies are so adorable.

I am having pain in inner side of my elbow. My elbow becomes so stiff while I am sleeping. Once i wake up and start my regular routine, I don’t feel any stiffness unless I touch my elbow.
But would it even itself out if your striking the ground over 1 km with half the force but twice as many times than a longer stride half as many strikes with more force. Dose wear and tear play a factor. Thanks

How can I tell if my arm and elbow and scapula pain is from a c spine bulged disc or from scalene muscles? Thx guys
Thanks once again, Sage. Just one question: How can you say you land with less impact on your foot when you increase your cadence? Impact surely can’t go away?
It’s pretty video, and I am a seller of fingertip pulse oximeter from China, please contact me via [email protected] lankeindustrial.com if interested.
It’s kinda funny because your intro song (runnin’ down a dream) has a cadence of 180 bpm
Cheers for the video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you heard about Parlandealey Flexible Elbow Process (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a smashing exclusive product for learning how to cure tennis elbow without the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my GF finally got excellent success with it.
Would love to watch and learn more about interpreting different types of arrythmias and heart blocks.
Sir I’m a new subscriber for your YouTube channel. This video was very helpful. My right knee burn a lot after I fetch water canes for 3 storey, I lift 16 canes. My knee burns a lot when I come to rest.
If the pain is acute do you recommend doing some of these exercises with the Aircast on or off?
I hit 158 on a longer faster run and my “fast” runs are around 6:45 per mile
I’m a 40 yr old former college long jumper and sprinter with a love for basketball. Last few years I’ve been heavy in the weight room and have gotten a lot more solid and strong. I’ve never liked distance running but I’ve been running about 7 to 8 miles a week, 2.32 miles at a time. I’m 6ft y’all and my cadence is only 148-149. Like a 9:26 mile/min pace. I feel like I power thru my runs but I will have to at least try this…my stride has always been long, even when I walk. It’s like I power walk.
So if you have a high hemoglobin how does it help to give a true reading?
Hey you guys are great I watch you all the time. Appreciate all your videos. Money elbow pain centers at the point of the elbow and just around it. Sometimes finding little painful it is pain spreads throughout the elbow. Help!
Brilliant, guys. I am a drummer in my 50’s and these exercises work a treat for my ‘drummer’s elbow’. Cheers.

Its like sticking your finger up your as aye it smells like shi no kidding dumb as
Ive increased my Cadence to between 170-175 for long runs. Helped me 100% for crushing out 1600 miles last year, kept me injury free with proper foot strike and hit PRs in the Half and Full marathons!! Been listening to @vo2maxproductions for years!! I love these training talks!!
can you discuss things one can do to sleep better especially for older people
I’ve had chronic tendonitis for nearly 30 years. It started from my career choices auto mechanic, Mason, Construction, and repetitive movements. So now when I get a flare-up of tendonitis I immediately use kinetic tensor tape on the elbow. I’ve also used a peptide bpc-157 it helps repair your body. Hopefully this helps others.
I got tennis elbow from using my computer mouse. I am so glad I found your guys. Now I can start the healing process without bothering to go to a physiotherapist, who will likely recommend the same helpful exercises. Thank you so much!
The baby looks at her like
“What the shwhat are you doing”
So nice baby boy. Ohh god pl giv us a healthy n cute baby boy jus like that . Muaaahhh. So cute cutie pie…
On 191 for my marathons, 193 for half how do I increase my stride length? Improving hip flexion? And?
I looked up my average cadence on Garmin Connect App, 168-170 on long runs, 178-179 on races/tempo runs. I am a 2:16 marathoner (5’4). Pretty cool video, very interesting, didn’t even know my running cadence until now!
Thanks so much for this video and your detailed explanation.
Love your easy to understand explanation. I have learned more through you than being in a class for two hours.
Pls explain some abnormal ecg and how to differentiate in which leads the findings will be
Thank you!!! I’ve been battling golfer’s elbow for a couple of weeks, thankfully I found your channel! Started using the ice massage, and also using my massage gun. WOW! Almost instantly the pain went away and I’m on the mend! Thank you!
Such a relief to find these videos. Kept awake by intermittent stabbing pain in right elbow, paracetamol and muscle-rub didn’t help, but these exercises gave some almost immediate relief. Thanks, Bob and Brad.
100% disagree. Despite I look like that square I don’t have anybody pushing me from behind while I’m running, but I use inertia like everyone.
I propose another test:
1. Place your wife at 2 meters
2. Fire a rubber band in her face and show her reaction
Now try again with the same effort but with your wife at 50 centimeters and tell me which distance is more traumatic for her.
So how does a feet 6 feet, long stride runner like myself run at a quicker cadence? I’m on average 167-170 on most runs except workouts/races. Currently running 65 mpw trying to hit 70 & gradually build up.
We do daily tummy time with the NICU preemies as part of their therapy and some of them actually don’t mind it at all (which means that they do what they’re supposed to without fussing and/or crying). And then we’ve got the micro-screamers and the micro-screamers absolutely hate tummy time so they just lay there on their bellies and scream their heads off the entire time until tummy time is over. Luckily since the micro-screamers voices are still extremely low and weak due to their prematurity, all the other preemies in the room can still get their sleep/rest without being disturbed, Lol.
Approx how long should i keep my finger in pulse oximeter to get an accurate reading ie 10 secs etc.
I got out of shape and trying to get back into shape. Should I run with a shorter stride with a 180 cadence and gradually increase stride to proper length or should I do proper stride now and gradually increase cadence to 180?
I’m referring to the distance runs not faster runs
My pain and stiffness is more on the back side of my elbow.I can’t straighten my arm without pain. any suggestions for me?
Doing this every diaper change is a genius idea! My baby hated tummy time, but doing tummy time every diaper change for a minute from birth will definitely teach them to tolerate it.
no gay, but I love you Sage! keep it up to safe. you still have the CR at white river 50….
How different are times now!! My 43 year old son I was taught to sleep him on his tummy!! So he would not choke on spit up or vomit! Times have certainly changed x
Thanku sir….i think another method is more easier than 6 sec method….to divide the box thanku so much…
I had a 15 month old in therapy with severe reflux. I had to be inventive to get her to do tummy time. I place her on her tummy and of course she raised her head and wanted up. So a placed a doll just out of her reach and made it into a game. She reached for the doll and at the same time flexed the muscles in her tummy. She laughed while trying to reach the doll. Of course I let her play with it for a bit as a reward for reaching. I offered other toys and cookies. You have to be more inventive with older children bc they are more mobile.
I’ve been trying to do this with her but she just spazzes out… she won’t lift:( she’s 2 months old
AonI have a 10 month old baby and I’ve had this tennis elbow since March 13 did it at the gym and since then it has not gotten better at all I tried your exercises in this video and I felt immediate relief but honestly have not repeated often, how often amd how many reps should I do of each? (The bendimg of the elbow REALLY hurts
Your feet are moving faster at the same cadence for a tall runner than a shorter runner. Every time you double the length of something and swing (such as a bar or baseball bat) it quadruples (x4) the speed at the end. I run in a running club im 6-4 and its like im gliding compared to someone stepping a lot faster than me at the same speed. That’s just basic physics not an opinion. But since your legs are not a straight line and bend its a little different. The fact that taller runners don’t usually win marathons as much is because taller athletes weight more. Their extra height needs more bones to support it in multiple dimensions, not just longer bones.
Good and useful Video, thank you. Can you make videos related to ACLS
Thank you for the information, if it drops under 90 should I consult a dr right away? With the coid causing breathing problems when should seek for immediate care.?
Thank you very much I purchased one and I wasn’t sure how to really use it and how it works I appreciate your instructions Very much thank you
I have it on the inner side of both my elbows from work injury’s. It has absolutely destroyed my life.pain from morning to night, It feels like trucks are parked on my arms, throbbing, heavy, pain in forearms. and sharp agonizing aches in my elbows. its been over a year since my injury, Still in the same amount of pain, out of work, and can no longer play guitar. it hurts just to type this.
Hey I’m a High school runner with natural slow cadence around 160, I’m moving my focus from the 5k closer to the 800m, I really want to become much more explosive and maybe drop down to the 400 ocasionally, but when I train aerobically what sort of cadence should I try to be around? I still would like to succeed in the 5k but what cadence should I train at so when track comes around I’m not super slow. Any thoughts? any really helps! thanks
Amazing video. I wish This channel makes it big one day! Can We be Friends?:3
I developed elbow problems after returning from Iraq. I think it had something to do with caring around my weapon every day for 12 months. Sometime the pain got so bad in my right arm I would use my left arm. I purchased a elbow brace and I have just started watching the videos on tennis elbow. The exercises that are shown in this video I will try those and get back to you soon. How long before I start to see results after doing the exercises.
Thanks for the video. I am a “Mystery” as my chiropractor likes to say. I am 54 and have cerebral palsy. It has never held me back though. Three years ago I was restoring my carriage house and used a 5 lb sledge hammer for ours. It wiped out my right arm….and being stubborn, I switched to my left, and….wiped out that one too. Just a few month ago I stopped going to P.T. after going for a year, for tendonitis and other things. It did not solve the problem. My right arm is 90% better, but the left is the same. I did a day of raking the other day and it flared right back up. I can’t live like this. I have almost no strength in that arm with this. I am starting to do some of your exercises today. Any other suggestions for my, maybe unique situation?
Thank you so much for this! This was clear and to the point and I appreciate you!
My average spm is 165 and the highest goes to around 240. Is it okay❓
Holly Molly! I like to call you an ANGEL. You are my angel now. Thank you!!

Make sure you sit up when using these. Scared the crap out of myself.
Hello..can uh explain depolarisation and depolarisation in detail…
Can u make video in ecg interpretation in case of IWMI AWMI PWMI and what is ST elevation…
I used to overstride so bad, and I got knee injuries. It got to the point where I had to run with a brace on each knee whenever I’d run over 3 miles to prevent too much pain. Now I have a much higher cadence and take much smaller steps as an effect No knee issues at all. I could have used this video a year ago! Thanks sage, good info!
What do you think of barefoot running? I heard it can help a lot with cadence and form. Is it a good thing to run a lot of miles per week barefoot to get better cadence and form?
I agree with country nurse, wow this just made my day, had study day yesterday to attend ECG lecture and it was no way as simple as this, and cost £170!
Thank you very much You’ve explained it clearly and it was easily understood
Thank you so much, please do more ECG videos simplifying the arrythmia and heart block, please
Hi guys. The next time you do a video on Cross fiber you might mention that after you do the cross fiber it’s a good idea to stretch the muscle in the direction that the fibers run to help the scar tissue form in a straight line. Love you guys’ work…I refer my clients to your videos all the time. Thanks for helping all of us
One of the cutest and calmest babies ive seen so excited foe my little girl due this october!
Thank you so much for great and very helpful videos! Here is a helpful rhyme: Heart blocks: If Q is far from P then you have a first degree; @@@ 2nd degree: Long, longer, drop, then you have a Winkenback(type 1); If some of the Ps don’t go through, then you have a Mobitz 2; 3rd degree: If P and Q don’t agree then you have a 3rd degree(divorced heart syndrome).
My tennis elbow was so extreme that in my sleep I would be startled awake by what felt like a knitting needle stabbing me in the elbow. Medical advice at the time was to rest the affected arm but we all know that is not always possible so I started to give some thought on how I could help myself. Looking back on activities that aggravated my injury it was obvious that pain developed whenever I worked an object with closed hand and cocked elbow so I thought I’d try exercises using movements opposite to those that created the injury. This involved fully extended my arm horizontally, bending my hand upward and spreading my fingers as wide as I could, then move my arm in small circular motions clockwise then anticlockwise or vice-versa. Circular sweeps and hand movements grow larger as pain decreases and flexibility returns to your limbs. Initially I would perform this action whenever I felt pain or discomfort and early on it was uncomfortable but over time it became a preventative routine and now I can declare my tennis elbow is no more than a bad memory.
ok, but why? what’s the reason for this? Will he not be able to build strength later without doing this? Do we have bad time, so that we have to do this quickly? We do this, only to pass time? What’s the reason for doing this?
You guys are the best, I had this about a year ago.. did these exercises religiously… it went away and felt great. but since this pandemic i’ve been doing a lot of cleaning and home repairs… it’s back.:( i will continue the therapy. Thank you though. its a really informative video.
I appreciate you two, so much. I have Ehlers Danlos and have so many medical issues that arise and I consistently get great advice from your youtube videos. I can put my own hip back into place, do the Epley maneuver, help myself with numerous strains and subluxations. Now, my tennis pain is already improved and it was excruciating. Thanks so much!!! BTW, I’ve referred dozens of people to your site through our Ehlers Danlos group.
I believe my pain is specific to the end of the ulna the elbow. Can you explain some therapy for this
Type A aortic dissection can give diffuse ST elevations, as well, when the initma dissects all the way back to the coronaries. While it is an ischemic cause of the ST segment, again TPA would be disastrous.
Always correlate clinically…
I have stage4 metastatic breast cancer. Lymphodemia. Im using the tactile medical flexi touch plus for that itscawesome. However i had a recent tennis elbow dx. Nice video…agin….I enjoy seeing those fit runners run and watching the form….ballistic sports….interesting name, so true.
Perfect video!!
Short, simple and strait to the point
Make more of these videos it helps new moms like my self!!!
cadence and stride with aged runners trying to keep my pace as I get near 60 yrs of age (2 yrs away)…..I suspect my stride will start decreasing and my cadence hopefully will make up for the shortening…..
Thank you for your video! I did this to my twins and it works!! You have a cutest baby anyway!
SPM is one of those stats that’s best ignored. SPM is very individual and depends on the workout. Running form matters much more. I’ve tracked SPM for many months. I’ve improved a lot and my average SPM has gone down.
If you have a Medicare Advantage plan with an over-the-counter benefit, you may be able to order a PO free if charge. (Also a blood pressure monitor and other such hardware.)
Being tall I feel makes it harder to get up to that cadence. I look like I’m running slow when I’m running. I need to fix this!
Are you pronouncing the word correctly?
Ox-i-me-ter
Ox-i-meter
Ox-i-mi-ter
for the first time after reading so many lectures and videos, i finally understand how things work thank u.
Is it normal if my R is only 3x the height of my P waves? And the T waves are like half the size of my R wave.
Thank you it`s really informative, Please make a video on other medical devices that can be used at home.
Wow. Just tried these exercises modified (minus the icing) while laying down, and feel less pain as I went along. I’ll keep doing these with hopefully more improvement. Thanks gentlemen for your services. God bless you.
While running about 10 miles i’m around 150-155 steps a minute. I’m not sure how good that is for stride rate….I’m 6’4″ so that may be a slower stride rate because i have a longer stride??
Parece ser muitouito boa as explicações do vídeo. Que pena que não consigo entender tudo o que falam. Principalmente quantas vezes cada exercícios. Tenho esse problema.
Nothing about the perfusion index or heartbeat graph. I feel like I know more than you.
Great video, thats true, you should put your baby on a tummy as early as possible, but after a belly buttom heals
Thanks Bob and Brad! I jumped the gun and went directly to strengthening, when in hind sight should have been stretching and massaging. The hand drop had relief about after 10 times. Thanks for the comprehensive options as everyone’s TE is in a different spot. You guys are very famous and helpful:-)!
I have noticed that 180 feels right when running, it feels fast and creates less ground contact time.
Very helpful, thaks so much.
Do you think those exercises can be performed even on acute phase of the epicondylitis?
After watching you video I try all exercise that to demonstrate and next day I almost had no pain. Thank you so much
Anyone know what to do if your pain is at the absolute worst when doing the arm bend + rotation he does at 8:30? I was trying the first few things and the cross friction massage felt great but my pain spiked back to a 8/10 the second I touch my finger to my shoulder.
Mint Nursing Great Job you’re also educating patients on their condition so that we have a better understanding from our cardiologists point of view, Thanks again
Hi, Great videos! Yes would cover basic EKG for X ray/CT techs who perform coronary studies. ie; A-fib, PVC, SVC, Normal Sinus, Brady, Tachycardia. Thank you!
I run with polar program and the maximum stride rate 82!!! How can you reach 180???
Thanks for making a great informative video. I am typing this with one finger on my left hand because my right elbow hurts too much. If my wife and I have another baby boy, we will name him BobNbrad!
How much time I have to keep this oximeter to get the accurate result?
Thank you Bob & Brad!!! You saved me from having another surgery. 9 years ago I had surgery on my right arm for tennis elbow. That was after 1 year of therapy and steroid injections. Nothing worked but the surgery solved my problem. 4 months ago I could tell that the tendon in my left elbow was tearing. I tried numerous therapies that I found on Youtube as well as anti-inflammatory medication and icing, but the pain in my elbow continued to worsen. When I would wake up in the morning the paid was especially bad. After watching this video, I tried using the elbow strap and the 2 exercises mentioned at 8:00 and then 8:26. Problem solved!! Finally!! I would do each exercise 3x a day for 10 repetitions each. For the exercise at 8:26 I would 10 reps with my wrist turned in, and 10 reps with my wrist turned out. I also did some cross-friction massage, but not as religiously as these exercises. It has taken about 4 weeks of doing these exercises and I have now begun to resume my prior activities, like lifting weights. I still wear the elbow brace when doing strenuous things like lifting furniture, heavy yard work, or when I lift weights. I hope people are able to have similar results.
Thank you so much for this video it helped me allot!
I had an ACL op about 8 months ago (I live in South Africa) and the I did not receive any physio I only got a pamphlet of what to do. The instructions weren’t clear and now my knee pains allot especially when its called. It also still has the tendency of becoming stiff and sore just under the knee cap which makes extending while walking difficult, hence suspect I have minor limp. What can I do to help all the small muscle around my knee recover and become strong. Also I have heard something about my hip muscles also needs to be strong for my knee, is this true? If you guys can maybe make a video on “A guide for neglected ACL patients: Systematic exercising for the development of essential muscles”. There is so much info out there I am a bit lost.
I’m short and fat but I consistently run with a cadence over 180, but my pace is super slow
My baby is already and month old and can roll on her tummy on her own and left her head with out any support..
do you ever recommend a sling to keep elbow still when working a job that makes you move it painfully?
My baby sleeps on her tummy all night since she was 2 weeks, she can easily rotate her neck. She is very strong
Cool. Thanks for the advice. I went to a bone specialist in the Philippines and he suggested a sports doctor, so I found you guys on the internet.
I have mouse elbow pain but my doctor diagnosed it as tennis elbow. The exercise with massaging the muscle with the pillow works great for me. Thanks.
Terrific video and advice guys. Sadly I think I have tennis elbow from squeezing/cupping the heck out of my hand while SLEEPING of all things (typically awful dreams). It’s been about 2 months now, and I’ve had no memorable injury that would cause this pain. It hurts to simply lift a bottle of water from my cup holder in the car. Been wearing a wrist brace while sleeping and it was getting better until I helped some friends load a Uhaul…back to a lot of pain the next day. Hoping these exercises will help, and i think they will based on how it feels right now doing them along with the video. Thanks again!
Clear, crisp rpesentations. Explained all releveant facts. Thank you
Is there a way to check if mine works correctly?
It’s from a Chinese co. called K-life, owned by Hunan Co., China.
Please do more!! I’m starting my EKG class June 9th, and the way you broke it down would help me tremendously
Please don’t do this to newborn 8 weeks
Their neck muscle and abdominal muscle is not developed enough
Unlike adult, babies have abdominal thoracal breathing pattern in which they use abdominal muscle to initiate breath and expand diaphragm, the only time newborn 2mo need to be lie on back is when you are burping them and even then not on the floor or blanket (you hold them gently)
Doctors and respiratory/physio therapists use pulse oximetry? You do realise that the profession who uses it the most are Nurses yeah?
Hi. I was wondering if you could show some exercises to do when the medial distal aspect of the knee is in pain. Thanks
These things are also notorious for causing anxiety and sending you to the hospital.
Thank you guys for this video. I overdid it shampooing my carpets. I also sewing quilts. What do you recommend for me especially now that we can’t or shouldn’t go to the drs. My email is [email protected] gmail.com.
I changed my stride last year and increased my cadence. I’m living in Japan teaching at JHS/running the students. I’m about a 50min 10k (5min 1k). I started copying the students’ cadence, hitting the ground when they did. Even though they’re shorter than me taking shorter steps really improved my running. In a few months my 1k training pace moved up to 4’20”. My last 10k was 43 minutes. My average spm was 183.
What should i do if my baby hates being on her tumy? She is 6 weeks
I’m surprised you haven’t mentioned the correlation between stride rate and how ground contact time impacts the energy return from the tendons. Isn’t there an amount of time where the tendons lose the energy return and that energy then dissipates as heat? I thought this number tied in pretty closely with the 180 spm (although it does depend on your air time).
I feel like the treadmill at the gym is the only time I can hone in on my form, like outside I’m just trying not to fall or get hit by a car
great vLog, thank you. gonna have a few of my athletes view it as homework! (and encourage them to Subscribe!). age certainly dwindles neural drive pathways; in my twenties feeble ilg ran a 33′ 10k… nowdays, i try to get to the finish before they start taking down the banners:-) however, i do know that cadence workouts can sustain neural fitness in aging runners whose fast-twitch concentration and firing power may be compromised. strong core really important for older runners since we need that inner buoyancy keep us up and out of the pelvis instead of sinking into it; that really chips away both rate and distance of stride. Thanks again! Head bowed,
Watched you gentlemen for the first time. I will definitely try the exercises for tennis elbow, but I really must know which one of you is the Packer fan.
Thanks so much, because of you, I know ABG’s, and now understand this… and it was so easy to understand your way of teaching:) You are going to help a lot of people become better nurses. Great job!
You have a stethoscope around your neck… Are you a nurse or a doctor? I’m getting mixed signals.
Clear and understandable information. Great explanation!!!! More topics please.
Great video, I am so glad for this video. You have inspired to share yoga on my channel. I was suppose to run London Marathon, that’s postponed. So I have two marathon in one month.
I’m 19year old and i took care of 1month old baby i need this.
I am taking notes right now and you literally saved my life. I’m taking my NHA CCMA exam this month and I’m a little terrified but your video boosted up my confidence for EKG readings. God bless you
Thanks for the chat, Sage, mate. Running is the most beautiful and rewarding activity known to man (in my opinion), and it is a pleasure to listen to someone who is also passionate about it. I’m working on my cadence and stride rate at the moment and loving every minute of the learning experience. With blessings from above I hope to be on the start line of the Tarawera Miler next February (2021). God bless, Dave.
c’mon why does it still have thousands of dislike, this is very helpful for students who want to pursue a medical field,, and this lecture was just so amazing than sitting and listening for long hours from your professor and finding it hard to sink in to your brain. I’m looking forward for more topics.
Thanks so much for your videos Sage, they’re keeping me going through this crazy time. I’ve been doing some of the exercise you suggest and working on my form and cadence. This morning I ran my fastest 5k and my first under 25 minutes (also increased my cadence from 160 to 165). As a 40 year old with severe asthma I didn’t think that was possible. Thanks again!
Ive been having these pains in my elbows since i kan/ can remember not just the tennis elbow in both elbows( more sew/so in my right elbow lately) but also carpal tunnel pains in both my hands, fingers & wrists, i actually have done those excercises even the remedies at home, last month or sew i have been having episodes where i wake up check the time on my phone to see im up before my alarm & my phone feels like 500 lbs breaking my right arm, I’ve been recently taking meloxicam for the pains since march 25th, 2020, as im waiting to set up my 1st appointment with a physical therapist, please help me, i have even tried the old hot pack cold pack trick it just makes it pain more then helping.
