You have two videos for pain on top of the foot with conflicting techniques. Could you please clarify which one is the correct one and why?
In this video the vertical strip is not stretched and goes under a single lateral strip. In the other video the vertical strip is stretched and goes over two lateral strips.
Thanks
Jesus
Hey can you do an update on your reconstructed foot:) thanks pal
This is the problem of mine, and it keep coming back every time I start long run,,thank you so much will try what you advised
I would start with this application. You may also try visiting our website and going to the “ask an expert” forum to get a customized application.
Will this help my severe arthritis in the feet especially top of foot.
Can you do a video on how to tape it to where you can hold rib heads in place? I am a gymnast and I always go to my chiropractor to get my rib heads back in but they never stay. I was wondering if K Tape could help with that.
If I was to do this maybe twice a week or less how long should a roll of KT tape last? I’m a student so I’m not one with lots of money to spend… and what’s the difference between the KT tape Pro, and the original, other than the I and Y? will it work the same way?
These men are so clever. I’ve wasted thousands on this issue and this has helped me. Thank you.
Where do you get KT Tape? I would like to see if this works for me.
This’ll teach me not to dance in heels when I’m an actual potato.
Thank you so much for this video, you absolute lads.
I would like to know if you have any videos about cuboid Syndrome and treatment at home
thank you
I cannot tell you how many physical issues I’ve had thru the years from elbow to foot that these guys have solved and resolved for me. They’re a public treasure.
Yes you can shower with it and it should stay on for 3-7 days.
Thank you for the information you shared so helpful if you can tell me, could this be associated with a stabbing pain on the same leg? I know that when I was pregnant back in the day I would get a numbing sensation on the right side of my leg just maybe (fastus laterlis) and now it’s always numb now on top of that it is a stabbing sensation and along with my (inferior extensor retinaculum) or 2 different entities? (the body is talking not sure where to listen) or could this be just the back? If you could answer I would love to hear your opinion if not thank you for all the information you provide very, very helpful…
When your local doctor is closed cuz of COVID and you have to diagnose yourself lol. This is the best and closest thing I’ve found about my foot pain yet. Thanks guys.
I’m a Baker by trade long hours on my feet. Is there anyway the shoes im wearing are causing so much pain? This video explains exactly what I’m going through.
I Cant even have a blanket on the foot. Hope you guys and ladys get better!
I gained some knowledge to my inflammation now. Thanks for the video. It will be better if you can point then out for clearly and slowly(to a guy with no experience, take it slow). Great stuff:)
thank you,it helps me how to feel better of my foot pain:God bless you both
why is it so hard to get the black KT Pro? None of the sporting goods stores near me can get black.
thank you so much, you two have helped me with so many issues i dont usually write comments, so thank you again. for fixing my issues
Can you still run with it. I run good with it but this morning when i woke up its hard to move i think it will become better soon though
I am six weeks post op from ankle arthroscopic surgery where they removed two loose bodies. I have had PT and have been cleared for activities but I still have nerve pain/numbness from just above the ankles to my toes. It took 27 hrs to feel my lower leg after the nerve blocks from surgery…and I had a friction burn from the surgery dressing and three weeks in a boot. Trying to be patient…but sleeping sucks as sheets touching it “hurt” as does socks and shoes. Will this improve over time?
Just had tommy john on my elbow from ignoring what i thought was just a hyper extended elbow injury that was minor. Turns out i was causing major tendon and nerve damage cause i pinched my ulnar nerve and tore the ucl. with out knowing and there would have terrible issues down the line. Now im dealing with insane pain in this tendon and have a weird popping noise going with it too…… maybe rolling that ankle a couple years ago was worse than i thought.
What im trying to convey is get that pain checked as fast as you can.
I got into a little accident with glass and I tore my tendon a little and it’s been so hard for me to walk! I’m not sure what to do.
Thanks for these. I’m not injured, but skating puts a lot of strain on these muscles so I think I need to strengthen and stretch them.
I think I acquired this from jump roping the other day. I remember the friction massage from your other videos. Thanks for sharing your wisdom:D
Anyone have any advice on the flexor retinaculum of the back of the foot near the Achilles.
It hurts when I plantarflex and don’t know how to stretch it??
Thanks
I could never get to a Numb point with mine using ice or messaging!!?!! Any tips????
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I loved the ease of the presentation, enthusiasm, the camaraderie and most importantly I learned alot too! Keep making more videos like this one.
Have you guys ever had stiff or swollen feet? Have had it for awhile and can’t seem to make it go away
I have a pain on top foot near big toe what can I do get relief for this?
Thanks for helping me diagnose my problem. I am starting next month to hike the Appalachian Trail and I definitely need to work this out. I love your videos and I appreciate you sharing your expertise with the world!
Yeah I’m always walking this junk so tight I have to place my foot in plantar flexion position lean foward and sit like that for 3 minutes to get it go loosen up
Jackie,
The Original is made of cotton and the Pro is made of synthetic fibers. This makes it stay on much longer. We stopped making the Y strips because we found that more support is better and when you use the I strips there is 2 inches of glue holding down each piece of tape rather than 1. The Original should stay on for 1-3 days and the Pro should stay on for 3-7 days or more. So I would recommend using the Pro and Taping once a week. You should get around 6-10 weeks of tape on each roll.
i got this jumping rope for 15 minutes in bad footwear! not fun!
How can you tell if there is torn tendon or tendonitis, also what are they doing on tendonitis surgery and what is recovery time from that? I have extensor injury.
I wondering if this is the problem I’ve been having for about 5 years. Can’t sleep on my stomach anymore and my ankle hurts loads when my foot is stretched out. When it’s bad the muscle hurts all the way up my leg and can sometimes hurt into the top of my foot. I’ve had disc replacement in lower back and was told it was from nerve damage. Pretty sure it’s nothing to do with my back.
This is the reason I failed to complete Marines bootcamp
Over 1 minute of irrelevant info. Thanks for not being able to get to the point.
CAN you show how to do this for help balancing the tension between the dorsal muscles and plantar muscles that is usually the cause of claw toes? Stretching the soleus and gastrocnemius muscles has been recommended while strengthening the muscles on the top of the foot are recommended, but it seems this tape could be used on top of the foot to offset the tension of those on the bottom of the foot. I’m hoping that while claw toes are just beginning, the tape on the top of the foot could help, but I have never seen it done even by a physical therapist. Any thoughts? Thanks.
I love you guys! I’ve had foot and knee pain from time to time and you guys always cheer me up!
Sir can we use hot compress instead of ice therapy? In India, winter started and using ice method is difficult.. Thank you so much Sir and hope to get well soon
I was mowing the lawn two weeks ago and had a piece of metal shoot from the back of the mower and hit me right on that spot. I also don’t have insurance at the moment so I haven’t had it checked out yet but if anyone has anyone has had anything similar happen or might have any other tips please let me know.
Can the pain travel up into the knee. Plus i have been wearing orthopedic sneakers and inserts for plantar fasciitis symptims. so im not sure why i have this pain on thefront muscle in the same location demonstrated here. Sigh. Life
Is this condition supposed to come and go? I have it were it hurts for about a week or so and then I won’t experience it again for a month or two.
Hi just having left foot problems and severe tendonitis i was wondering why does my foot become 10 times more painful at nightime its weird
i dont know what i have ive ran miles a day for a year ive been out 4 months now,,,i am wearing a ankle BRace th Doctor said that i have tendinitis,,IT hurts underneath my ankle and on the side,,im a 43 yr old Grumpy Italian Girl PLEASE HELP its almost under my arch too,,,and side of my ankle,,,,,,,i want to start RUnning again,,,it feels better some days,,,,i dont know im annoyed and lost,,i have a awesome brace Brads fave ankle pricey but wearing it,,FEELS AWESOME,,,,
My top of my left foot feel pain when I flex my toes upward and slight turn sideway. What’s wrong? It starts about a week ago. I remember before the pain start, I went on a hike on a rocky beach. Would that have caused the pain? There is no pain while walking.
I got my foot stepped on at soccer. The top of my foot hurts right above my big toe. What do I do? Can I still play?
It doesn’t hurt for me but it feels like my muscle is stretching?? And I’m scared if I might rip a muscle what do I do?
What is the best cross training to do whilst this injury is recovering? You mentioned cycling is good, but not if clipped in. Does swimming have same stress on foot is swimming hard? Indoor rowing any good?
Is the pain associated with this a sharp pain going up to the bottom of the knee?
It would be nice if you did a video on the area between the tibia and fibula, which is called the middle tibiofibular ligament or interosseous membrane. Regarding the anterior tibialis tendon, another way of stretching it and the ankle is to use a rowing machine.
Not sure if you’ll see this but, I’m feeling a lot of soreness/pain at the top of my foot, mainly at the ankle where it bends. I’m a runner and I workout at least 3 times a week (high intensity boot camp). Should I lay off any exercise until the pain goes away? I think I already know the answer but, I’m not sure if this will go away and I don’t want to stop all exercise at once.
I was doing jumping Jack’s to warm up for my main exercise and then I felt a shift on my left foot. Happened last Monday, still hurts but will apply things from here.
I m a physiotherapist from india… and i love to watch your videos..they help me alot to recover my patients…
You guys helped me get through BPPV and this problem holy crap you really are the best
wait…i DID drink a gallon of whiskey…and there WAS a turkey involved! haha
just kidding i’m just getting older and apparently going into the attic injures my foot now for no reason… thanks doc very helpful
There are a few tips to try
Test out one of the natural remedies for plantar foot. Something as simple as ginger root, which can be found at your drug store, is a great anti-inflammatory. Ginger root is in the class of plants known as Cox inhibitors. That means they help inflammation naturally.
Another good remedy for pain is Bromelain. Bromelain is an enzyme got from pineapples. just drink the raw juice or eat raw pineapple, you can gt advantage from the natural pain relief of Bromelain. Enzymes are one of the top remedies for pain because they are all natural and are what your body uses to cure inflammation
(I discovered these and more ideas from fergs foot formula website )
Do you know how long it wil take for the pain to go away, i was running with tight shoes that caused it. now i cant run at all been 1 week now? thanks
I just watched this and I have pain on top and on the sides of my foot. I’ve tried about everything, including Horse Linament. The one thing that has really helped me, is magnesium oil that I make myself. 1 cup of Ancient Magnesium Flakes to 1 cup of water. I boil the distilled water, then add a heaping cup full of flakes and stir until dissolved. Cool this and put in a glass container, like a mason jar, to store. When I need some, I shake the mason jar, pour some into a small, glass spray bottle and spray it on my foot where it is hurting and rub until its damp. (Usually after I have taken a shower or soaked my foot in hot water). Then put on heavy socks. If the pain hasn’t diminished to the point of being bearable, I repeat with the mag oil. Usually this takes about 4 different times until I can sleep.
I hope this helps you guys. Magnesium Flakes can be bought through Amazon or buy agood Epsom Salt. Ask your pharmacist which magnesium is the best for this in his opinion. There are a couple different kinds.
What is the name of the tendon at the baseof the shin, top of foot that is attached to the muscle?
Can you do one for Extensor digitorum
longus pain and stiffness?
Please tell me I dont need surgery I cant afford another bill. I think its because of my work boots and a combo of flat feet. Its so annoying.
I have been struggling with this exact pain for the past two months and my general practitioner basically just told me to rest it, and when the pain didn’t go away he told me to just rest it some more. No other advice, and wouldn’t send me to a specialist or do any further testing. I have been in such tremendous pain that no amount of resting has made better. For the first time in two months, I’m not in pain because of that massage technique!!! Thank you SO much!!!!!!
Thank you! My foot has been killing me for a couple of weeks! Finally figured it out. Thanks for stretches and strengthening exercises!
I gained some knowledge to my inflammation now. Thanks for the video. It will be better if you can point then out for clearly and slowly(to a guy with no experience, take it slow). Great stuff:)
thank you for what great advice you put out from California Cannabis community
Whenever i run i just feel pain in the bottom middle of my foot so i dont know what it is but it doesnt happen when i walk
Thank you for everything I couldn’t find video of extensor digitorum longus muscle
So glad I discovered thisneuropathy treatment method “gowo shocking plan” (G00GLE it) this! My painful foot neuropathy was treated because of it. It was an excellent pain reliever right after having foot surgical procedure! I also utilized it on foot as it was bruised and tender from the surgical procedure. I have utilized it often and foot is healing well. I`m not having much neuropathy pain now!
Dr nabil do we need to know back muscles in orthopedic speciality??
if you people need to get ripped prompt without spending a single another minute in the gym, then you should look at this video tutorial SIXPP.COMI’ve fallen in love with you. I love you even now when you sit before me with the eyes of a wolf. So take pity upon the fool I have become. I forgot it was only a bargain between us.
Thank you very much. Can anything be done to rehab this area?
I have swelling on the top if my foot near up to my toes and it seems like it might be extensor tenosynovitis…do you have any suggestions outside of what you mention in the video?
I have bruised bone where she placed the little red spot, would this tape be good for me? or would it aggravate the bone which is bruised, pain isn’t too bad, been told to rest it for two weeks, I’ve been swimming and avoiding weight bairing exercises
I was having foot pain on top of my foot. Real bad that gave me pain while I walked. Went to the doctor.they took x-rays which showed nothing wrong. So he prescribed medicine for the inflammation and a boot to get the pressure off. He said it could be inflammation or stress fracture. I would have to go back later if my foot doesn’t feel better to see if it is a stress fracture
I’d like to see a demo of taping for muscle imbalance of calf and foot to relieve the tension of the back of calf and bottom of foot. In this case the dorsi are weak, so that claw toes develop. Please! 😉
I have a mean case of osteoarthritis & this video helped me so much.
Walked the Camino De Santiago last year and had about 3 days of Top of Foot pain (on the tendon). I had to stop for about 20 mins every hour which wasn’t very practical at all! Was walking with my cousin and she pulled up this video so I gave it a try… pain subsided, and I completed the rest of the walk pain-free!! Absolute godsent for anyone struggling with this on longer walks. Thank you!
Yes. You can adjust the application to cover the area you need covered.
I have disintegrating disc`s in my back, & and allot of neck pain. Arthritis can also be a problem I have. Imake use of this arthritis treatment “Rοngοdο Ruzο” (Google it) in my neck, back and sides of my body, and the pain disappears. This will help me do my everyday work without disruptions. It will also help if you eat foods that don`t cause irritation..
Hey there. So I got two questions: 1) How long does one ice, elevate, compression… cause i feel the inflammation goes away for a little but comes back when I move in my daily life? (I am not running though and not doing impact exercise…) basically… are there stages in recovery and during which stage does one have to do what… 2) I figured that it depends a lot on the shoes I wear? Barefoot and with very lightly tied shoes I am fine and can do stuff like elliptical even. However, I cannot do things that put pressure on my foot (aka weight lifting while standing, long walking, pushing off on a bike, or running) is that normal (background 3) I am wondering whether one can have combinations of different tendonitis things and how to approach them) thanks for getting back!
j’aimerai savoir si je peu utilisé cette methode sur une tenosinovite des tendons extensseurs en avant de la cheville et du tarse ou y en à t’il une meilleur urgent svp
Good video. I appreciate learning about the cross-fiber friction massage technique.
Thank you I was looking for this type of taping, as a Rugby player we get stamped on a lot and it hurts like hell, just a quick question, the first 2 strips the girl puts on can they be moved back up the foot closer to the joint?
I only have this problem in that area at night. I sleep on my back and my foot is in it’s relaxed state and it’s overly stretchd I wake up and step down it doesn’t hurt. I just notice the pain when I wake
I have taken huge doses of various vitamins, applied several homeopathic, and tried almost everything out there in my effort to cure my illness. I`m only Thirty four years old, and naturally, it`s been a real battle. Nevertheless, I foundthisneuropathy treatment method “gowo shocking plan” (G00GLE it) really interesting. Anybody will certainly find it easy to understand. You can surely see the outcomes quickly if you do it effectively.
I believe you can use any type of Kinesio tape, right?
Thanks!
Can kicking a soccer ball barefoot cause this Because the top part of my foot hurts when I move my toes up or down and I can’t lift my feet towards my shin as much a I use to now do I just need rest and a doctor?
I’ve got a big arch in my foot and I think it’s the first one you described that’s happened to me. I think it’s happened when I’m flexing my foot. I was wearing boots the day before it happened so I think they may have been pushing down on the top of my foot. I was also doing a lot of yoga due to back pain so resting seems like the wrong thing to do. It happens to me a lot though when i exercise. I have so many thi gs going wrong with my body. I have had Torticollis and immobilising lower back pain. Only just started to exercise and now I have tendinitis and have to stop for two weeks. Starting to seem like there’s nothing i can do right
+KTTape I’m a professional taekwondo martial artist and it’s be great to see videos aimed towards taping for blunt force injuries to the feet and legs (injuries that may be less common in other sports)
***All the muscles that lift the foot up are called flexion (dorsi flexion) All the ones the move them down are extensors.***.
I wish this stuff wasn’t so expensive in australia:( I don’t run but I have chronic pain and really want to try this for my ankles as I’m on my feet all day in retail.. I would just hate to discover that it’s amazing and not be able to keep buying it because of the price point
Bonus points for covertly dropping the trash behind you at 2:26.:)
Thank you Bob & Brad! Many of us have injuries during this difficult time (COVID-19). Can’t go to physical therapy or were scheduled for surgery’s now delayed indefinitely. You have helped me recover from numerous overuse issues related to running, hiking, nordic walking etc. You 2 are better than any of my so called specialist-please know that I reside in an elite medical community-
and believe me, I have access to the bestnot one of my Doc’s have spent
the time or have explained treatment
as thoroughly as you 2 have. Not to mention the terrific practical tips!
Thanks again for doing so much for many. Especially now! Please stay safe out there, we all need you more than you will ever know. ❤️
I have a pain in this area when i try turn my foot inwards with resistance, could it be this issue?
I think I have tendinitis of my extensor digitorum brevis and longus. Can this method with KT tape be used for this type of foot pain as well? I play tennis 4-5 days a week and need some relief.
Thank you so much for this! I tripped on the stairs and hurt the top of my foot yesterday and can’t get into the chiropractor that usually tapes me for at least another week. I iced it but it was still causing me pain. Feels better already:)
can this tape get wet ( shower ) n can u leave this tape on for days??
I’ve seen a podiatrist. I have extensor tendinitis. It’s been 3 months already. How long will this pain continue upon walking? I’m starting to feel hopeless. Should I ask for PT?
You may need a custom application. Visit our website and go to the “ask an expert” forum to get one.
I have had this issue from skipping. Gave it a 2 month rest got back into it and 2 weeks later same pain. I will try these stretches see if it heals my issue cause rest didn’t.
If you have metatarsal multiple fractures, are these stretches recommended? 2nd,3rd, and 4th because right now, if I take the boot off my foot flops… too early?
Yes. In fact if you go to our “ask an expert” forum on our website you’ll be able to see applications specifically for that problem.
just started using it for my feet due to peripheral neuropathy. The circulation, heat and feeling is back. Thanks mucho guys.
When I lift my foot towards me I get an ache on my calf’s n foot
Yep. You can also check out our “ask an expert” forum on our website for some other methods.
Personally have experimented with both the old and new method and found that a reverse of the new methodapplying the vertical strip with stretch first then the 2 horizontal strips, seems to work better for pain relief and stays on longer Registered Nurse
We’ll keep that in mind. In the meantime you should visit our “ask an expert” forum on our website. One of our Pros can make a custom app for you.
is the blue and yellow tape any different from each other? or is it just the color
it works when applied right…i’m going to regret not shaving my leg later.
Equestrians can use this like no one’s business. Our life is “Toes up, heels down,” putting tons of stress on our feet. Thank you for this video! I’ll be riding with this on both feet.
Yes. However, the Pro will stay on better on feet. It has stronger adhesive and does better with the sweat.
Hi. Other day I notice pain in the outer side of my foot. Just below my ankle. Today I have noticed bruising and a little bit of swelling. Dont know how I have done this. Think it’s from climbing in and out of me van all day. as I am a delivery driver at parcelforce That’s only thing I can think of. Also me shoe were abit to tight that I was wearing on the day I felt this pain. Today I have took my shoe off and noticed a bruise and a screeching noise coming from the bottom of me foot. It’s a weird feeling that I have never felt before when spraining me ankle or anything similar. Feels like rubbing 2 pieces of cotton wool together aha. Just wondering if this will get better and stop screeching? Thanks
The pain I get in my left foot happens first in my forefoot then moves up to the top of my foot the next day, the following day it moves to the right side of my ankle, the next day it is the left side of my foot and swells into a pocket of fluid.. it’s been happening for a couple years now but it’s getting worse
My point of pain is on the outside of the foot. How exactly would I place the tape?
The original KT Tape is made from cotton and comes in a black box and has the I and Y strips. The KT Tape Pro is made from synthetic fibers, comes in an orange box and only has the I strips. This is what is featured in the video.
and all the rolls have i strips and Y strips or are 2 different rolls?
Nope. Different colors are just different colors. Purely aesthetic.
You have two videos for pain on top of the foot with conflicting techniques. Could you please clarify which one is the correct one and why?
In this video, the vertical strip is stretched and goes over two lateral strips. In the other video the vertical strip is not stretched and goes under a single lateral strip.
Thanks

I have extenser bc I have a high arch. It hurts every day!!!! My mom is gonna ask if I have tendonitis my next doctors apointment.
What if you have tendonopathy? Actual structural problems with the tendon (mine is from Cipro?)
Recently switched to complete barefoot running ( mostly on asphalt), after 6 sessions decided to increase the pace dramatically. Then noticed swelling and pain in a particular metatarsal region (debilitating to an extent couldn’t walk naturally). Followed your advice, rest and ice pack, now the swelling has gone, slowly resumed long-distance walks ( after 20 days) and in another 10 days, will resume light running. Thank you.
I’m not sure but,if anyone else wants to uncover cure foot problems try Alkarno Foot Pain Alchemist (just google it )? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my partner got cool results with it.
Hello, I live in Turkey. I feel the pain of the extenser digitorius brevis in my ankle. I’ve had physical therapy, but it didn’t work. There are cases of synovitis and tenosynavitis. I’ve been in this situation for 8 months. What should I do. can you help mus
Give it a try and if it doesn’t, check out our “ask an expert” forum on our website and we can get you a customized application.
When my feet hurt or I need to be put to sleep I gust get a sharp needle in my foot pain
Both techniques should work. The newest video which can be found on our website is the latest version. We are always trying to find ways to make the applications as easy to apply while remaining as effective as possible. The latest version is the most up to date.

Im looking for a video what to do if yout foot is squeaking when you walk
Where do you get KT Tape? I would like to see if this works for me.
Is putting ice on bare skin not recommended due to frost bite?
would this help for someone recovering from a broken foot? (5th metatarasal fracture)
I’m going to have a talk to my doctor AGAIN. I’ve had this same exact symptoms and pain for almost a year now. My pain started last JUNE. It went away but as soon as I dont wear my insoles or I walk too much even with them on I have horrible swelling and horrible top/mid foot pain. The pain is so bad that I cant walk sometimes. Every time i went to see my doctor my foot wouldn’t hurt bcuz i had just woke up and went straight there. I had done zero walking so i went and there was no pain or swelling. They told me it MAY be tendinitis but never said what kind and where. They never showed me my xrays probably bcuz I broke nothing. So this makes so much sense.
Btw I was a runner. I ran 20 laps almost daily bcuz I love running so much. My job also made me get new shoes and they were tighter even tho I got the same size. I’d work about 40+ hours a week. Eventually a few weeks later this pain started and hasn’t gone away. I really need this to heal now bcuz I am 5 months pregnant and the pain is even worse bcuz my body is naturally swelling on it’s own so it’s coming back even worse. I also need to walk for exercise for the baby!
I went over a year with this pain. I play roller derby and the movements we use the most while skating put constant strain across the top of our feet. My extensor tendonitis was completely brought on by extreme and constant overuse. The main thing I had to force myself to do was to give my foot a total rest. I just kept going back to early. Finally the end of our season forced me to stay off my skates long enough to actually rest my foot. After 3 weeks I actually had no swelling or pain for the first time in over a year. Stretching and proper warm up is a big part of my routine now and actually listening to my body and acknowledging when I’m still not 100%. If I would have just gave my foot the full recovery rest time I would have been solid and playing pain free much sooner.
This has been massively helpful, thankyou. I’m a fitness instructor an have recently started to get this and I’m confident I can now prevent it getting worse. Thanks Bob and Brad!
Dang, I wish I had watched this before I let them shoot my foot with steroids and charge $270 for a boot!
Hello Dear Dr. Nabil Thank you very much. Thanks for everything Co lang.
I get extensor tendonitis on my right foot when wearing minimalist shoes. But no issues with barefoot walking
I have this in my left foot I think it’s tendonitis. Just came on a few weeks ago and painful ever since. I raise chickens and to this has stopped me in my tracks. Well it has slowed me down for sure.
Painful across the top of foot and it has definitely changed my walk. I limp by the end of the day. It hurts to lift my foot to walk normally. I already have a bad right foot that I am getting surgery on in September so I have to get my left stronger for sure. I have tried a lot of things and let me tell you compression sleeve doesn’t feel good right now. It is quite depressing because I am pretty active person. I have gotten through plantars fascitus but this feels quite different and it wouldn’t surprise me if arthritis isn’t involved too I have OA in my right foot. I know I’m 46 and falling apart. It sure feels that way.
Tbh I’d love to just walk about my house doing chores or getting myself a glass of water without it playing up again after weeks of letting it rest
My ankle hurts and the front bit of my left leg hurts and back of my left leg hurts and when ever I twist it the other way it hurts on my ankle I think it is posterior tibial tendonitis
I have the posterior tendinitis. Tight calf too though. Looking for exercises & therapy for it now. Hard to get back in the gym with this crap
Thanks very helpful!! I have flexor tendinitis. How long does it take to recover after 2 weeks of resting it?
Soak your feet in warm water. It is one of the most effective ways to stop foot pain. Put lukewarm water on a basin and put a tablespoon of salt. You can rinse your feet with cold water and dry your feet thoroughly. After this technique, you can also apply some tips that you can read below to totally stop occurrence of foot pain.
I’m a big person. I’m about 6’4 245-250 I’m in my mid thirties. I’ve had it happen before many times. I wake up with both or usually one foot feels like somebody’s got a bar underneath the tendons of my toes and are pulling straight up off the top of my foot. It’s brutal what the hell is going on? I ice, rest, heat, etc. It’s probably been going on for 15+ year’s.
What is the purpose of the last long piece of tape? Why does it have to go up the shin?
This condition just started with me while on vacation in las vegas. I was excruciating pain. We took the bus most of the time I was there because we stayed at the stratosphere so I didn’t ‘walk the strip’ we did most of our walking inside hotels. I was limping the entire time and taking breaks. But the pain won’t and haven’t gone away.
Sooo if I have pain on the top of my ankle can I use the tape method?
This video is great a few months ago I hurt a tendon in my foot and now whenever I dance I have to wear this stuff.
Good video my 18 year old son just starting running in prep for boot camp and complains of ankle pain and interior top of foot had it xrayed no fracture been icing resting, motrin, worried he has a pronation issue, just ordered better shoes, he passed all medical for military had never had any symptoms from flat feet till started running hoping this is a shoe support issue and will go away but worried now this may affect entrance into military, does surgery cure it? Also would you suggest a foot doctor or general orthopedic?

Just want to be able to run again and this tendonitis is totally killing my vibe.
You should be ashamed. The girl in the back corner really should be seen for anorexia.
HOW ABOUT WHEN YOUR 3RD AND 4 TH TOES STIFFEN UP WITH PAIN TEMPORARILY?WHAT IS THAT?
I was diagnosed with tendonitis it goes from my ankle to my big toe. The doctor didn’t say much except the angled stretch you showed. Hurts a lot a night when in bed the blankets push down on that big toe. Pretty sure I got this from playing tennis and my laces were too tight. I have a lump at my ankle. Can’t wait to try the ice cup and cross massaging.
Thanks for this informative video! When did you realize you needed surgery for your posterior tendinitis?
About 3 months ago i slid while running & pointed my toe (kinda like the splits) to catch my fall. Ive been doing physical therapy and have more range of motion but the back of my foot (near the achilles tendon) hurts so much when i point my toe. Ive been doing eccentric exercises and nothing seems to work. Im not sure what to do anymore. Any advice is welcome!
I think I have this!!! I am limping when I walk. Fells like I am putting exteme pressure on my big toe bone. Almost like I wish I could pop it.
I was in a car accident and was driving with no shoes I have a torn toe tendon so what can happen now i wonder if it would ever heal its already 2 months:( what should I do
I’m literally having this problem from walking 3-5 miles per day. I guess I need to do these exercises and hold off from my walking
I think I have everything wrong with my feet I first developed plantar fasciitis after walking around too much on flip flops while weighing around 300lbs. I’ve had it for over two years now and I’m tired of it. I’m in pain every night and I work on my feet. I have pain on the outside edge of my left foot.i did the water test and my arch appears between normal and high.i don’t know what to do to make this go away
How can I cure tendonitis if the cause is getting hit in the foot really hard?
hiiii sir, my son plays soccer, after game his ankle is very sore and a very dull pain is there, there is no tenderness or swelling. is it normal??
I think I have tendonitis. The top of my foot is tender (like a mild burning pain) in a small area when I press on it or when something rubs on it, such as a shoe. No pain when I walk barefoot but the foot feels tighter than the other one. It feels like there is a bump (maybe inflammation) on the tendon that stretches below the big toe. I am 38 years old, of a thin build and athletic. Before this happened, I was wearing sandals and my exercise routine consisted of running up and down stairs (not in sandals) for leg toning. I have stopped doing exercises and been resting and icing it. I’ve been told by a doctor in the past that I have tight ankle and calf muscles. It’s not getting worse but is stubborn in going away

I’ve had pain on the inside top of my foot when I point my foot down, inwards, and when I walk on it. I’ve had this pain ever since I went to trap a ball in soccer and it bent my foot backwards. Do you have any Idea what this is?
I have pain in the medical subtalar area. When I touch the top of my.foot in that area a little to the left on my.left ankle I get a sharp pain all the way to my 4th toe. Excruciating pain. When I touch what I believe to the tendon from my ankle all the way down on the top of my foot I feel pain that radiates into my 4th toe. Without seeing me can you please give me some reason why this convo ight be happening. I did a light exercise days prior and 2 days b4 exercise I did recieve a bier block I’m my foot. After the bier block I did not feel this pain I’m having. What can be the vause from your expertise..?
the greatest info that I have had was with the Natural Foot Wizard (just google it) without a doubt the no.1 resource that I’ve followed.
Have this right now, got my army assessment centre in 10 days. Quick recovery hopfully
I think I got extensor tendonitis from not stretching my calves. I noticed I got it the day after I incorporated an hours worth of jump rope in my workout session. My calves felt tight the next day but the following day is when I felt the pain on the top of my foot. Now I get this pain during my runs as well (which never use to happen). Ahh!!
Thank you. I really appreciate this video. I’ve came back to it multiple times and the information really does help. You earned a subscription out of me. You guys are awesome!
I had this injury at the end of a run last week. Started feeling better after a couple days but now it’s gotten much worse and the pain has moved to the sides of my ankle too. I’ll try some of these things, hopefully it helps. Thanks!
My doctor diagnosed me with a foot disease for my heels that makes me have to where shoes with a heel I think it starts with a z do u know what it is
Can this be used to relieve pain on the top of the foot, near the extensor hallucis longus? There is pain when I flex my big toe towards my shin and again when I press just to the side of the lump of bone about midway on the foot, on the inside (but on top… if that makes sense).
I’m a dancer and I was doing some turns at dance today and I think I did this, not sure though. But when I landed out of my turns I put a lot of pressure on it.
thx guys. I do a lot of running walking and jumping on a consistent bases and this really helped me get back to it with no pain.
I am so happy that I found your video!! My foot has been bugging me months! Could not find a video until now! Thanks thanks and thanks!!
Hm, I have really annoying sharp pain when I flex my calf, and then point my toes upwards. I guess that means I have an issue with the top flexors? Seems to get worse when I run or sprint.
Thank you for your video, you answered my questions in an understandable way. Thank you.
I have (or have had ) the one that you’ve had. Hoping my orthotics help! What’s it called again?
I’ve had som strange fizzling pain coming and going on the top of my foot/ankle. It mostly when i walk or run and put my heel down at first. after watching this video im starting to think i might have to tight calves and also used to tight shoes. im gonna start to do some more stretching to my calves and maybe loosen my shoes a bit. also going to visit an orthopedic who specialises in footwear and feet in general to see if im a bit flatfooted.
good video very informative!
