I have tried this diet for 3 years and have not seen significant results. I have been battling HBP during that time. I eat out little and cook from scratch. It makes me wonder if they are looking at the wrong thing…salt. They said eggs were bad too and now that has been overturned. Just makes one wonder…

People often confuse “diets for health issues” and “more environmentally friendly diets” with “healthy diets”.

Do anybody know about Hybetez Remedy? Does it work? I hear lots of people treat their high blood pressure issue naturally with this high blood pressure secret remedy.
What is the best product or brand to treat your high blood pressure issue inherently? I read plenty of great opinions on the internet about how Hybetez Remedy will help you fix your high blood pressure issue naturally. Has anyone tested out this high blood pressure treatment?
My husband can only eat organic eggs due to the chemicals in caged and free range eggs. We do not eat any hams processed meats due to sodium. I make my own goat yoghurt rather than buy processed.Goat milk is so much better for people and digests quickly.
The message is thoughtful, how you’re putting it accross perhaps could use a little work. So, although what your saying is of importance, the packaging and delivery of it is almost too annoying for anyone watching to last the 4 minutes needed to view to it.
I see lots of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets (look on google search engine). But Im uncertain if it’s good. Have you ever tried this popular diet plan program?
What policy could there be to cause people to eat good food? Also, what policy could cause only people at risk to change their diet? Honestly, I don’t see a government policy that could do it. A PSA is the most I can think of.

Sadly, it’ true that doctors focus on broad strokes when it comes to diet. It’s easy for them to demonize specific things (carbohydrates, which includes fiber I might add, or gluten, which has no negative effect on 98% of people, or sodium, which can lead to disasterous consequences if taken too far). What too many doctors fail to see is that every body is a bit different, and diets need to be tailored to the individual (this is a major reason why I don’t go to the ER they would never be able to feed me and would easily render me bedridden or worse within 24 hours of exposure to their dietary abuse).
Take sodium as an example. For many people it might be unhealthy to take in a lot of it, but if my normal diet isn’t supplimented by a DAILY dose of at least 500 mg of sodium per day, I begin to lose muscle control. After 4-7 days in insufficient sodium intake, I will be rendered bedridden until my sodium levels rise. More sodium is required when I do more physical activity or when I’m in more pain. Less is needed when I’m in less pain. It’s that simple. The trouble is, I had to figure this ALL out on my own through trial and error over 20 years. Why? Because the doctors only offered utterly useless general dietary guidelines that failed to take into account my individual circumstances.
Fiber is another good example. For many people, it’s a great thing. For me, most ashuredly not. I have to be VERY careful to keep my fiber intake as low as possible (which is particularly difficult for a granola, oatmeal, popcorn, shredded wheat, and whole grain bread loving person). That said, no matter how tasty the popcorn or granola might be, writhing in agony for several hours afterward is NOT worth it. Generally, I can get away with 5 grams of fiber a day, 10 is pushing things. 25-30 (the recommended amount) would leave me wishing I were dead. Again, this is something I had to discover by trial and error. The doctors were useless because they were so stuck in their rigid rules that they couldn’t see daylight.
I wonder how much more effective healthcare as a whole would be if we employed dieticians solely to tailor diets to the needs of patients. A LOT of symptoms can at least be improved (if not solved) by dietary changes, and, when someone gets as sick as I’ve been over the last couple decades, a dietary change is a small price to pay for ANY measure of relief (that does not involve opiates, which I won’t let them give me anymore). I really wish that medicine focused more on the whole body and not just on one specific symptom or condition.
While we’re on the topic of wishes, however, I’d also love to see doctors take a lot more care not to practice destructive medicine that can leave people with lifelong problems afterward (that were in no way mitigated by the temporary benefit of the tests that caused them). A medical test that MIGHT produce a temporarily useful result is NOT worth causing permanent, irreversable damage that causes daily or even constant pain. Ever! Please, doctors, get this through your heads for the sake of all petients like myself, however few we might be.
isn’t soy sauce and corn products bad for you? peanuts are very inflammatory on the body. i’m starting this diet now but will totally eliminate certain items and drastically reduce sodium which the diet doesn’t advise???!!!! bit strange
Excellent point! Thank you Dr. Aaron for teaching about the need to match recommendations to the studied populations.
This is an age old debate (targeted intervention vs. population based intervention). Targeting only high risk groups is expensive and requires constant monitoring and behaviour change. The argument in favour of a population based intervention is that it will make slight shifts of population norms to healthier behaviours in the long run without the constant nagging of health care professionals (“eat less salt, exercise more, blah, blah. blah”).
Health promotion is not easy, but some of the most effective examples have been population based. Large scale information and education campaigns against smoking probably helped changed attitudes towards smoking. This wasn’t targeted to people at greater risk of smoking. It was targeted to everyone. Seat belt wearing is commonplace now probably because of the population based efforts to make it seem like the normal thing to do. In both of these cases, population based interventions probably deserve some credit.
It would be great if, when you say “like we’ve covered in previous episodes, the optional info card in the corner offered a link to such an episode.
What are some ways to lost a lot of fat? I read lots of great reviews on the internet about how exactly Fenoboci Diet Plan can assist you lost lots of fat. Has any one tried this popular lose weight diet plan?
This channel is clearly for promoting standard, popular advice. His demeanor is focused on being didactic, not presenting critical thinking. This is a very large red flag for me. But most people want authoritarianism from a doctor and are not confident or enabled enough to see their physician as a cohort or teammate. No matter. What he loses in credibility he makes up for in popularity.

Are there any consequences for eating high sodium /unrelated/ to blood pressure? i’ve got dysautonomia and take approximately 5-7 extra grams of salt a day (Along with plenty of water) to manage the symptoms (With doctor recommendation) but I’m curious if there’s anything negative occurring because of this course of treatment.

There are studies that show vegans have lower risk of blood pressure and heart disease, as well as other major life threatening diseases
Sugarfree/Soakedgrain Vegan diet been studied in gen pop and it crushes the dash diet on all aspect of human health improvement, or any diet for that matter.
Human knowledge on nutrition has greatly improved and evolved. Most Nutritionist around here are outdated pawns or corrupted turds.
Dr. Carroll, did you have any good tips about how we might go about changing policy to adhere more closely to the clinical evidence available to us?
