Thank you so much for this great recipe! I made it alongside curly fries and it tasted amazing! Thanks!
Thank you so much, this sauce is absolutely amazing with my homemade chicken tenders!!! Also you have an awesome accent:)
how about just mixing honey with mustard, and that’s it.!!! douche bag.
I love your video’s because you film them in real time! Many other vegan cookery videos whizz through at warp speed that you can’t enjoy or learn from them. So thank you for filming the way you do!
Love the price is right music!! How about green goddess? There was a fancy restaurant we used to go to on special occasions when I was a kid. The GG was so delicious. I’ve seen the recipe online [The Velvet Turtle Restaurant] and its LOADED with fat….
So you need to make some mayonnaise and simple mustard beforehand, and that makes the whole thing too complicated.
A fruit-based vinaigrette (strawberry or raspberry) would be nice. Or a poppy seed dressing. Everyone I have tried so far has been delicious!
This and the ranch has been my favorite. I make my baked tofu much simpler. Tamari and balsamic soak then toss in unfortified nutritional yeast.
Mmmmm looks Delicious. Thank you and God Bless You. This will be great to use for topping for Baked Fish during Lenten Season. Will really enjoy. Love Tamson
YUM! Totally going to try these! I literally eat tofu everyday, most of the time in every meal. Probably not the most ideal health wise but tofu is just too gooooooddd
I have some firm tofu to use up so definitely trying these this weekend! I have all the ingredients for the coconut curry so probably will try that one first!!
my friends and family love my pasta salad. I normally use the Olive Garden dressing. But I just don’t want to feed that kind of thing to my loved ones any more! Can you come up with a healthy alternative to the Olive Garden salad dressing?
i was looking for honey mustard sauce recipe for my corndog homemade
K.I.S. Keep is simple, one bowel, one set of measuring cups and spoons and a wisk. However the presentation was great all the same.

Do you make your own chickpea flour? I couldn’t find it at my local store.
Our absolute favorite is number 7. I made it right away yesterday. We both loved the taste and the creamy consistency. ❤️
Oh wow! I literally just finished making this and I already know I’m going to be making it again! I followed the recipe exactly as indicated, and couldn’t be happier. I was really a bit skeptical about the balsalmic vinegar, but I have to say, it really ads something to the flavor that I didn’t realize was missing from it before adding it! Great job, man!
Looks good, can’t wait to try it out. Looks a lot like McDonald’s Honey Mustard too. Witch is our favorite. We don’t like store bought either. Thanks again for sharing.
Thank you for this great recipe! Merci Boucoup mon ami a bon appetit a vous.

Hi, I so love your channel and recipes. I am so what confused about what a cup is, as I live in the UK. Please help
You should try the “wet hand, dry hand” technique when breading those nuggets.
You put so much effort into this video!
It was so well done!!!

Tried a couple of these yum!!!!! I actually used the lemongrass one as a salad dressing

I really like your recipes and your presentation is on point. I will have to try all of them now XD
1:28 I looked and looked and looked and I could not find jello normal mustard!:o
Keep the Mayo out, then it would be very healthy Honey Mustard salad dressing.
I am so ready to see your ceasar. That is my family’s favorite. Mine is sweet onion dressing.
HI jill i don’t buy medjool dates, i use the organic non gmo small dates from the date lady, so how many dates would i use in this dressing.

This is exactly like the honey mustard dressing at Denny’s which is the only honey mustard dressing i ❤. Thank you soooooo much.
I’ve just recently found your channel and I love you and your videos… Your voice sounds so kind, like a loving father and your recipes are easy to follow and great! Thanks for sharing Papa G… ❤
If you use coarse ground honey mustard, you can play with the textures a little
I am not a vegan but I want to do 2-3 no meat days and I just hit subscribe because I love your ideas.

Gracias, amiga eres hermosa!!! Y das muy bien tus recetas me alegra haber visto tu video, besos y abrazos desde Honduras!!! Congratulations!!!!
Jill, I just made this dressing and it is DELICIOUS!!! I modified the mayo recipe slightly as I am nut-free…instead of cashews I used 1/4 cup water with 1 Tbs white chia seeds (next time I will try it with only 2 Tbs water to 1 Tbs chia seeds), which I let sit for about 5 or 10 minutes to allow the chia seeds to activate, and I replaced the agave/sugar with 1 1/4 tsp erythritol…also replaced the maple syrup in the dressing with 1 1/2 tbs erythritol and 1/8 tsp liquid stevia (Trader Joe’s brand)…I can see why this is a favorite with your family! Can’t wait to try your ranch dressing recipe next!
Love this!!! If you ever have children they are gonna be blessed by getting your genes❤️!!! Thank you for the recipe❤️❤️
Would love a good poppy seed dressings. Thank you so much for doing this dressing series. Finding delicious dressings has been my biggest challenge to eating large salads. I love the way you do your show! Some of the other ‘chef’s’ demos are so long that there isn’t time to watch them. Yours are perfect. I have even written to a California chef suggesting she watch the way you do your show. I look forward to your new recipes each week.
HI jill could i subsitute the dijon mustard for no salt organic?
Hi love your show please could you do an oil free, nut free, tahini free Caesar salad dressing! I’ve been craving it and can’t find an oil etc free vegan recipe anywhere online!! Thx!
Omg. I just made my own based off this vid and its sooooo addicting!!!!! Wont every buy a store brand again.. plus most store bought brand are just not good.
Also at a local Gyro place they had this special house made honey mustard sauce, this is pretty much in the ball park
I just made this dressing, subbing chia seeds for hemp hearts. Added a couple extra dates and a little more water and mustard to make it the taste and consistency I wanted. Yum!! Thank you for the recipe!!!
Oh my goodness this was hands done the best Creamy Dijon Dressing ever. Thank you for this amazing recipe =)
I made this today and I am not a fan of mustard but I must say this was a really nice dressing. Thank you so much. And I like the videos that you post.
Literally look less then a minute to make and it was amazing!!! I didn’t have lemon so I put a little lime and i would say it probably turned out the same
Thank you, Me and my Grandpa made this together and it truly grew a bond between us. It was delicious with our homemade fries. Once again, Thank you.
I added some spicy brown mustard for the brown spots but this recipe was grate
Thank you! Will make this week! Caesar would be a popular choice, for sure. How about a Spicy Ranch like maybe Buffalo Ranch or Southwest Chipotle Ranch?
OR maybe a Creamy Berry Vinaigrette I love dressings like that for my Fruity Breakfast/Brunch Salads w/ Nuts/Seeds?
Thanks for the recipe. I have question about chickpea flour. We all know that we cannot eat uncooked beans. What about the flour. Do they make it with the dry beans?
Sound delicious and will try on my fish. And chicken. Susie.
Love how simple sauces are. Keeps my teen happy making them myself. She’s got big love for flavor and variety. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I literally was finishing my homemade chicken tenders and fries and realize I didn’t have any honey mustard!!! Then I pulled up YouTube and clicked the first video and prayed to gods that this would be a honey mustard I love and it is!
Do you have a plant based Cole slaw dressing? Love your show! I recommend it all the time!
Thank you for sharing this recipe! How would you thin the dressing out for application to a salad…more vinegar? additional water?
If we are out of lemon oil, can we use lemon juice?? Love the sounds of this dressing and want to give it a go!
How about Greek (style) Dressing, or something like that ?
I can barely wait to try this, it looks so delicious! Thank you ❤️
I made this and it’s delicious but mine came out a bit more watery than creamy…how can I fix this?
What the fuck how is this so delicious? I had to stop myself from eating it with a spoon
This is probably the longest it ever took to say “throw everything in a bowl and mix”
I tried 4 of 5 (can’t find Lemongrass right now) and i am happy with all tastes so far! So great, easy to made and yummy. Thank you Lisa!
Hi Jill. Love your videos. I was wondering if you’ve ever tried using guar gum / xanthan gum to thicken up your otherwise watery dressings before? I made a balsamic-agave-Dijon dressing the other day that was delicious but too thin to really stick to the leaves. Added some guar gum (too much actually) and it was thicker than paste within 30 seconds. I’m gonna mess around with the measurements some more to find that happy balance but it really helps these oil free dressings stick to your salad!
Well I was looking for more of a glaze for honey mustard chicken wings. I think this will make a great dipping sauce, so defiantly gonna try it. TFS
Can i use normal or white wine vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar?
Hmm I’m having some trouble opening the recipes for the marinades. Is it possible that your link is broken?
Great vid thanks! Will def be trying these out
Here I am, watching your video after midnight and now I want a salad with your mustard vinaigrette dressing.
Lol I love the music at the end. I’m watching while my tofu marinades wish me luck this is my first time making tofu. For 2020 I’m trying to eat a lot more plant-based Foods. It’s been really fun learning all the new recipes.:) Thanks for these awesome recipes.
It came out pretty good, I also used white wine vinegar instead of balsamic or apple.
This is EXACTLY the kind of video I was craving!! I’m not a huge bean fan, but I absolutely love soy products and am constantly on the hunt for marinate inspiration. This is perfect:) lovee the gyro one
Didn’t have all those ingredients but made up a recipe on the go anyways. Look forward to trying your full recipe soon.
I’m always on the lookout for new ways to eat tofu and giiiiirl these all look freaking delicious! By the way, the first Vietnamese dish is pronounced more like “boon chai” but with more of an upward inflection on ‘bun’ and accented emphasis on ‘chay’. Does my description even help lmao it barely makes sense to me hahhaha why is Vietnamese so hard. ANYWHO I can’t wait to try out these marinades!!! <3
My favorite dressing of all time is mustard vinaigrette! You are reading my mind Papa G! Thanks for sharing!
All of the dressing tutorials have been excellent! I haven’t made one yet that wasn’t delicious. It would be hard, but, do you think you could come up with a Caesar dressing?
Thought it was melanie trump but this woman is way smarter than that plastic ugly cheeto sucker
Thanks for the recipe! I always have date paste made in my frig. Do you how much date paste equals 8 dates? I think it will blend more smoothly using the paste.
How stupid can you be when you’re writing the titles of your videos?
“Homemade Honey Mustard Delicious and Super Easy”?!!?!!!!
Guys like you are feeding the humanity with creepy crappy stupid demonstrations all over the world.
Be nice and leave us, the others, alone! It’s “Super Easy”!
I’ve had this sauce and I’m absolutely blown away by its awesomeness!!! You sir, did a fantastic job! I do recommend a tiny pinch of garlic powder let me say that again: a tiny pinch of garlic powder. The slightest overdose can result in complete ruination.
Literally the best honey-mustard sauce I’ve ever had. Tonight having it as a dipping sauce to the oven-fried bloomin onion I also found on you-tube. DELICIOUS!
Thank you so much literally you made my day this sauce is like exactly the one served with chicken fingers at Friday’s thank you.
I’ve been wanting a video like this! Thank you!!!!
Also I love how you included how long it lasts❤️
In England we have this thing called salad cream, usually by heinz. I don’t know if you guys have anything like it but I’d love that recipe!
Doubled this recipe substituted balsamic drizzle for balsamic vinegar. Also jacked the heat a little with ground jalapeños. Great recipe
Thank you Cuchara Original, just made your recipe. So damn good. wow…
took me a minuteoh another good one! lol our family thrives on jokes so thanks for another funny one!:)
Looks like a very healthy and tasty recipe. I only need to buy about half of the ingredients before I can try it out:-). But here’s a question for you. Despite all the ingredients being clearly plant based, I wouldn’t consider any of them to be “whole foods” in the strictest sense, though the dried dates and hemp hearts come closest. Everything else tofu, flours, yeast, liquids, etc., have been processed in some way and are no longer in their most natural state. So, my question is, at what point does a plant based food become too processed no longer “whole” to be considered healthy?
soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good
I like not having to make mayonnaise, nice and easy. Thanks for another dressing for my recipe box. Good bye to the store bought crap…
I would so like it if you could try a Caesar salad dressing. I haven’t had it in years. I’ve tried one with cashews, but it wasn’t so tasty. It made quite a bit as well, and me being a single person. I had to eat it all because I don’t like to waste food. Honestly it was a terrible couple of weeks lol
Just tried this recipe and turned out very good decided to kick it up a notch. Called it Sweet & Tangy Honey Mustard. Just add to the recipe half of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and 1 teaspoon of sugar (raw sugar works better). Mix all the ingredients and enjoy with a bowl of freshly cut salad or dip some chicken strip in the dressing. Enjoy!
Wow! This is delicious. I recommend about 10 deglets if you don’t use medjool.
Thanks for the recipe. I don’t use store bought dressing either. So appreciate this.
Are you going to be at veg fest in Raleigh in April? Would love to see you there.
Why suggest “low sodium” soy sauce as a substitute for Bragg’s? Bragg’s liquid aminos literally have more sodium than regular soy sauce.
just made this, so yummy, now marinading some chicken in the fridge, will let you know how it cooks.
Would love if you make a Caesar dressing Thanks for all your wonderful Salad dressing recipes!!
i used to make this dressing that was very heavy in garlic and ginger, but it had loads of oil. the oil dulled out the burning aspect of the garlic and ginger, so it allowed to get more garlic and ginger into the body. it was a very powerful dressing because it helped with pain relief, but i wish i could make it again without the oil and i don’t know how to make it properly.
i love honey mustard and this goes perfect with kind off every food! ty for the tutorial helped alot!
In theory is it possible to create Date Mustard by combing Date syrup with Mustard?
Hello can I put this sauce on the stove to heat up to use on chicken wings?
literally, why would anyone dislike this video, all this looks delicious!!
I love vegan protein like this, not trying to make “meat” out of vegetables but making it’s own thing with unique flavors and textures
Haven’t found Hemp seeds/hearts yet but working on it. Thank you.
Omg. This is amazing! Definitely going to try these!!!! Thank you Lisa!
Would the lemon grass marinade go good with tofu and pesto noodles
Nice recipe im also making it like this im just adding some balsamic vinegar
nice vid bro! keep it up!:)
btw u remind me of hagrid in harry potter lol
Thanks for the nice recipes but you new website isn’t working. Search function doesn’t work and I am not able to find the recipe again:-/
All recipes need to have amounts of the ingredients clearly explained.
Did I really just watch a recipe video that didn’t include measurements? You’re missing half the concept of a recipe.
hello Asia any sticky marinades for like roasts yours are very runy to soak and absorb over night i need something that sticks to be wiped on ie pigs chickens etc.
I love honey mustard and this one looks fantastic! do you have the measurements on the ingredients or at least an estimate. thank you very much great videos!
We made this tonight, and it’s awesome! I couldn’t believe how similar it tastes to the “real” thing, which ironically is not even as real.
A very good clone of honey mustard. Eating my daily salad used to be something I just needed to get through, but now, thanks to this series, I look forward to my salad everyday.
Keep going
OMG!! I Just tried the gyro marinade and it’s truly amazing. It’s the first time that I get a tofu with good taste. New subscriber ♀️
Thanks for sharing another delicious recipe. What is the substitute for white wine vinegar? Can I replace it with rice vinegar?
Honey isn’t vegan. I know there’s none in the homemade version, but you could have foregone buying the honey-filled dressing from the store. Honey is bee cruelty.
Thank you so much for not shaming no vegans and encouraging positive ideas to get non vegans to become interested. I feel welcome on your page and it gives me a chance to experiment. Thank you!
Ooh this looks good! By the way, I love your thumbnails and your editing! So clean and professional.:) I’m a new YouTuber and I’m learning just how much work goes into making solid content! Thank you for putting in the time and thought!!
Such great ideas!! Thank you so much! And your tiny whisk is sooo adorable Lisa!
How I make Honey Mustard
1. Get a bowl of yellow mustard. Use any local mustard too!
2. Put honey in the bowl until it’s done
3. ENJOY!:)
Is there anything else we can use as a substitute for the Dijon mustard?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE RECIPE. I have never tasted something so perfect in my life
Is it necessary to add brown mustard or is it optional? Thanks for the help, will try this soon:)
Going to prep that gyro marinade right now and make the bowl for dinner! YES! Thank you!!!
These look so yummy Lisa!! That mango teriyaki one is calling my name for sure! I’ve been following you for a long time now. Really love how your recipes and videos have grown. Thank you!
Heavenly. I tasted this, then made a double batch and filled a large jar to put in the fridge. Thanks.
Looks so good thank you!!! I am loving this salad dressing series!
Great video thank you for these clear steps and for the recipe.
I think the coconut curry would be my favorite one, but every single one look amazing
