Wow. I had to pause to comment…I’m sweating buckets right now and we haven’t started the floor series yet! I was told today that I put on 8lbs in one month and my doctor is worried that im putting on too much too quickly. I realized that the issue isn’t so much that I’m overeating, its that I’m not exercising AT ALL. Hence, my search for a workout video. This one is going great so far! Thank you.

I’m 6 week’s pregnant and do my best to workout 3-4 time’s a week light to moderate sometimes just brisk fast walking, or.Zumba dance moderate light weight lifting or light cardio. You just encouraged me so much:) Did you ever ride in high temps and if so did you just make sure to keep the ride shorter and stay well hydrated? The weather here is going to hit 90 today and I’m just a tad concerned about that.
I have so much respect for you! I ride a city bike for running errands and continued after I got pregnant. I am almost 4 months now, so it’s still okay with balance and I don’t get any unwanted attention. If I feel okay I want to continue doing it until the end. I live in a very conservative country, when it comes to pregancy and rising children, I am getting judged already by my husband’s male friends who all know I am riding a bike, they say I might miscarry and what not. I am scared by people’s looks on the street when I will start to show.
Thank you for posting “riding pregnant” videos. I got pregnant about 6 months after I decided to really commit to mtb, it was all planned and I rode as much as I could before getting pregnant. Luckily, I found out that you started sharing your experience and it gave me the boost I needed to continue biking through my 1st and 2nd trimester. Many women were quick to judge, knowing I was pregnant, they would make faces, and I understand them. It is hard to grasp the idea of someone riding while pregnant, because it has been said so many times to not ride while pregnant. One thing many women miss to understand, is that each pregnancy, and womens body is different. Fortunately for me, my body was and is at its peak, physically and health wise. Each case is different, and speak to your doc if riding is still an option during your pregnancy. Bottom line, riding has helped me maintain self-care, kept me sane, kept me fit and stretching, and enjoying some last few rides with my husband before baby arrives. Try getting a ring wrap to help carry your baby girl. It hangs her where she can see, rocks her as you move around, and give you a 3rd arm, as well as private nursing when needed. I made 1 for my hyperactive baby and it was a lifesaver! I can send you instructions if you want to make 1.
It might be good to exercise while pregnant but I’m not risking it. Good for you ladys working out, but I don’t want to chance something happening to my kid.

For me I am struggle to walk because of the sciatic nerve is killing me. Good for them they can move normally during pregnancy.

The thing is nobody is telling you to START weight lifting or exercising all of a sudden once you become pregnant. These women were already exercising way before they got pregnant. They are only continuing their routines throughout pregnancies. I am sure they would stop whatever moves that make them uncomfortable. People who are opposing to this probably don’t work out anyways.

Nice workout! Before pregnancy I was regularly doing workouts but with weights. But now on my 3d trimester (and situation in world) forced to sit home, weather also is not always ok for walking which means some extra kilos, quite big tummy and increasing laziness.

It is so funny to see what people have to see and what it always seems like is that the women who comment these mean things are the ones who don’t have children or were not this way during pregnancy. In my opinion all that matters is the baby and mom are healthy! I am not as fit as most but im on baby number 2 and didn’t start showing until i was 21 weeks and then people started noticing but even at that some days you see my belly and other days you don’t.

I just want to clarify that I fully understand that even if you do everything right during pregnancy, complications can still arise that are beyond your control. I did my best to prepare for labor and delivery but I’m sensitive to the fact there is a certain amount of luck involved in how well things went for me. I feel very fortunate.
To quote Dr. Phil “Common sense is just not common anymore.” Are people so ignorant that they think these moms would not check in with a Doctor regularly before continuing their exercise regime. What the lady said in the comment is correct; people (unfortunately women) are always jealous of those who hold themselves up to a higher standard and doesn’t make excuses.
This makes me laugh because all of the negative comments have no idea what they’re talking about. I’m not as fit as these women but I’m 15 weeks pregnant and I workout 3-4xs a week plus I have a ful time job where I am on my feet anywhere from 25-35 hours a week. My wife is pregnant for 1 month.
2 days back we decided not to carry baby… so she started doing jumping like jogging. After 20 jumps she was ok, she started to jump again after 1 hour, and this time after 20 more jumps she felt a pinching pain and lied down on floor. the same moment we decided not to abort the baby. Now she often feels the pain in belly, although it is lessar than the pain what she felt just after jumpings. I don’t know weather the baby is healthy, or what step should I take? Please advice.

I can see how this workout would be effective for some, but I have Severe Pubic Dysfunction and have been bedridden for two days after doing this workout. Turns out you’re not supposed to do asymmetrical exercises such as lunges with SPD. Isn’t it weird that people are so worried about pregnant women exercising when we are in the throes of an obesity epidemic. I’d be much more concerned about the many serious health risks of being overweight and pregnant.

A bunch of fat women getting triggered over women who don’t use pregnancy as an excuse to balloon up. I’m 9 months pregnant and workout moderately at this point. It’s fine just listen to your body. I was running and jogging up until last month until baby got too heavy. I will power walk and workout as long as I can hold a conversation. Stay active ladies!
that’s good for them,at least we know they ain’t gonna be like some of these women talking shit about them and wound up fat and nasty after a couple of months and years having a baby so they hate on the one that’s doing and looking better then them with kids.

This is good maybe more women should get active. I was told along time ago not to exercise this was wrong to say it maid me unhealthy and it’s been supper hard. But now Im going to get into excersizing. What ever I can handle Im tired of feeling unhealthy. Tired of being told you just can’t do that while your pregnant. You don’t have to overdo it but seriously I’m so pissed that I was told I shouldn’t exercise at all.
I’m on my first trimesters but I barely did 10 minutes. I feel my heart racing so fast, I get tired so easily and I used to workout before getting pregnant

Update I do it 3 times a week if possible and it gets much easier! I’m currently 21 weeks

If I get too active when pregnant I start getting crampy and to me that’s a sign I need to be careful. But if they feel perfectly fine the whole time im sure its ok, I just hope they are listening to their bodies!

I seriously hate feminism. Women are the first ones pointing their finger to judge other women,specially nowadays where every women is working full time plus working out plus growing a beard until 39 weeks pregnant.
This is an exception! These women were already working out for years before pregnancy and their bodies are used to,but it’s not the reality of most women and they should really avoid heavy lifting.
Quick question, so I am almost 8 months pregnant and have never really done any workout bcs my motivations level was like 0. So my question is if it is safe for me to start all this now? And if this would also help me after I deliver or should I do a other workout than?

I am 34 weeks pregnant, and I still strength train everyday, I did ABS pretty consistent until about 2 weeks ago, now when I do my routine on upper or lowers days, I notice my corse gets a good work out as well, I do need to UP my cardio though

Sorry Sarah. I love your videos but sadly this video wasn’t one of Them. The Way you Said the facts in the beginning could very Well make pregnant women who eighter cant or just don’t exercise feel shamed and feel that they are harming their unborn baby and that their child is going to become less intelligent. I know you did not mean to come out like that.
But in such a sensitive phase emotionally that pregnancy is, it’s just not what a pregnant woman wants to hear, especially if they suffer from low self esteem or is insecure about everything with all the “rules” that is put on pregnant women now
