I think what they meant about IF is that some people do this but eats a lot during their eating window, so basically its a myth. You will only lose weight if you control your food intake during your eating window.

This video has helped me out a lot. I am a recovering anorexic and it is really hard for me to understand what I need. I have only been consuming about 1,100 calories a day and that is pretty bad I know that now. A lot of websites tell me that I don’t need very much because I am only 5’3 and only work out about 3 times a week, but I went on that website and now I know I need way more this was a great, informative video. I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome in the worst way, along with being overweight. Doctors recommended pills. Instead, I started eating fruit and avocadoes and nothing else. I lost 65 lbs in two years. During that time, I recovered from Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I realize now that this was truly not a sustainable balanced diet. Yet I never felt better. So it does make me wonder why some nutritionists are so against eating fruit. Happily, “The Whole Happy Life” author does not prohibit the moderate consumption of fruit, with all its health benefits, along with the many other nutritious whole foods.
The part about age is so true. I have gone from a size 16-18 weighing just shy of 15 stone to a size 8-10 weighing just under 9st and I’m 43 this year.

Did you do a video on the cost of eating whole foods? When You are on an income that is below poverty having sometimes only $200 for food for the month 2 people. We have a garden, which helps, but the cost of that is not cheap.

It’s nice to be reassured about carbs being okay, even though I know this it still seems to affect my meal choices (I too struggled with ED) especially with changing my routine to do crossfit I really noticed how good nutritious food is needed for performance which helps me. Although recently I’ve began to notice and worry that the intensity of crossfit is making me ill? Maybe it is my nutrition that is the problem/disturbed sleeping pattern but after some sessions I feel so ill I can’t stomach having a big meal to replenish my muscles which I know is so bad but I can’t help it.. for example last night was just a lifting session. I was already very tired during the day but made myself go as I felt lazy if I didn’t.. but I came home and felt so nauseous I had to go straight to bed. This morning I woke up and have had a headache ever since/heavy head feeling and feel very weird when standing..this isn’t the first time I’ve felt like this and I’ve no idea what’s going on.. The absolutle BEST thing a begginer who has never tracked calories, has no idea about nutrition, cals, macros etc… is track everything for 2 weeks to learn about everything. After these 2 weeks of tracking they will have learned a lot and then they never need to track again because they have a good image of what and how much they eat. Simple as that:D

Aaaah I used to have my daily calories set just below my bmr, but thanks to you I dared to up it to 1600! I’m supposed to lose 0.5kg a week with that calorie intake. When I get comfortable with the calorie number, and can make sure I’m not gaining fat, I’m gonna try to increase it for slower (and more sustainable) weight loss. Baby steps! Thank you!

10:47 This may be true, as far as the ketogenic diet goes, but it is not so for the full carnivore diet. I have been carnivore for five years now. I was diagnosed with angina pectoris about twelve years ago and the diet and medication made it WORSE, with two events a week. I chucked the meds and the low-fat, high fruit and veg diet and the angina went away. I have not had an event ever since. On this regimen, my blood pressure is normal, as are my cholesterol markers and everything else. Cholesterol levels shoot up ONLY when your body has to repair damage caused by the rubbish you still include in your diet.
Our bodies are as different as our faces, fingerprints and personalities, so that you have to discover which foods are correct for your unique, individual body. Get it wrong and you will suffer. Get it right and you will not suffer night cramps, overweight, bloat, indigestion, headaches or any other “minor, normal” aches and pains. You won’t burp or fart or have B.O. or halitosis and you will not stink up the bathroom when you use the toilet.
My wife adds a teaspoon or so of flour to soak up the animal fat in which she cooks my meat. I can eat some of this with impunity, but if I go over a very low limit, my body rebels in no uncertain terms. Fruit and veg are definitely out, though: a few cooked green beans caused me to have a stroke four and a half years ago, causing the semi-paralysis of my right side, which I remedied by eating even more fat than normal. I did NOT consult a doctor, who would almost certainly have condemned me to taking medication for the rest of my life! I use NO medication at all and am now 71 years of age, 5″6″ tall and weigh in at a constant 130 lbs. My wife is 5’2″, and although she eats whatever she likes, has never tipped the scales at more than 99 lbs. I made her dump all cooking oils and margarine two years ago and replace them with animal fat and butter, when she showed me her swollen knuckles and complained of joint pains. All signs of the arthritis were gone within three weeks and have not recurred. Once again, no medication, physical therapy or any other interventions needed.

2)exercise in the morning
3)cut out carbs such as white rice and eat more fiber such as brown rice
4)drink a lot of water
5)cut out your sugar level
6)eat healthy and do diet
7)eat less during dinner, eat more in the morning because all of those breakfast will be use as energy through the day and eat a normal meal
8)don’t be lazy such as being couch potato

It’s been 3mnths since I started my diet, yes, I’m doing my home work-out til now and I’m restricting myself from eating a lot of rice from 80 to 60 (my weight) and still eating fried eggs any fried but i have my portion control cause my anxiety wont let me sleep if I messed up my target. I still find it amusing people are always turning to buzz words and sentences. A calorie is a unit a measure, IT IS ALWAYS EQUAL. Food is not create equally. This most idiotic way to describe a unit of measure unbelievably stupid. For example you would could say than a feet created equally because if am in car or a plane. Or A liter is not created equally. FFS stop these moronic ways to describe a scientific unit of measure to sound “catchy”.

I use MFP all the time for nutrition calculations! I’ve been trying to eat a lot less processed food lately so I use the nutrition calculator to see the macro/ micronutrients for my smoothies. Thanks for the video!
It’s easier to loose weight after 30 I would think. Before that people still have baby fat that isn’t coming off and when they do lose weight it would come back quickly cause they are young. In your 30’s it is way easier to keep weight off, no matter what you eat. I also agree that we need to reduce sugar and carbs.

Just tried this and it was delicious, more sponge like but still great. Used coconut flour and all purpose only. replaced with white chocolate.

So I just tried making these with ingredients I already had and I have some questions.
The batter turned out much more liquid than yours (I think because I put them in the fridge instead of freezer), but also after they were done they were definitely more of a small cake texture than a cookie. Can you help me figure out what mistake I made?
1. Instead of 60g whey, and 40g of your cookie powder, I just used 100g whey.
2. Instead of 30g regular flour, 10g and 20g of coconut and almond flour, I just used 60g all purpose flour.
3. I used sugar-full maple syrup (already had on hand).
4. I put the batter in the fridge instead of freezer so the batter was much more thin.
Which one of these would make it more like a cake than a cookie?

The first 60g Whey protein looks more like 120grams. All his dry ingredients look like they are double compared to what the text says.

Anyone try with another flavor of whey than vanilla? Like cookies and cream?
I made these last night and wanted to post my response since some of the comments say the recipe does not work. I followed the recipe as closely as possible, the only places I differed were with the flavor of cookie butter, as I used cookies and cream, and I did not use almond flour, I replaced it with extra coconut flour.
While I would consider these to be more like muffin cookies than cookies, as the texture leads me to say that, but that being said these “cookies” were delicious. I will be making again and using to supplement my breakfast with a little chocolate chip protein cookie/muffin. P.S. The recipe works fine.

So I actually am studying nutrition and dietetics in college, and I’ve learned that most people in the scientific community do NOT take dietetic professionals seriously because of how much new info is being discovered about food and how it can interact with our body. The RD’s here are constantly learning new things just as much as we are! No need to discredit them. There are things like the RDA (recommended dietary allowance) that gives recommendations on how much of a certain food a person should eat depending on their age. Myplate is also a good website to help gain some understanding on food portions and how much food is recommended for individuals as well!

Made this recipe 3 times now (following recipe exactly, even weighing with food scale) and something is wrong. I can’t get the batter to settle in the fridge or freezer, i’ve tried both. The batter remains really liquidy and the cookies expand to double their original size after baking. The video shows them remaining relatively the same size after cooling off. I always avoided diets because I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat pizza or pancakes. Diet plan I got from Next Level Diet allows me to have cheat meals and still keep my fitness journey on track. If you don’t believe me, visit their site and try it yourself.

For the love of God people, just because you’ve lost weight doesn’t validate you’re healthiness, health and weight are not the same thing, that’s the whole point of this video, they never outright said fasting was bad just the mentality that can come around it, for some people some of the myths they talk about might be solutions but they aren’t sustainable because eventually your body is going to try and correct itself, because it’s a machine, do what makes you feel good of course, also something pointed out in the video is that we’re all different and diets are complicated, there is no one answer fits all.
What a refreshing video, and the content is so practical which means it’s doable. I knew added sugar was a big problem in my diet as I suffer from PCOD, so I did cut down packaged food items or added sugars. It’s a slow journey but I feel better nor I have any sugar rushes or cravings like I used to have.

The word “Diet” is being used as if its something bad thing. Eating in moderation is a Diet. They are “Diet”icians.
They say there is no one size fits all for weight loss, but then they says eat the way we say.
I know they went to school to be Dieticians, but that doesn’t mean they know everything about every diet. Dieticians have told us to avoid fat in the past as well, so they aren’t infallible. I went to school to learn about computers, it doesn’t mean I know how to program software. Not all doctors can do Brain Surgery. Maybe they should teach specialized Dietician degrees in each diet. I would also like to see a study where Dieticians try different “Diets” themselves.
I always hear “Eating Keto is unsustainable”. But so is every other diet, its all about discipline. In proper Keto, you still eat Fruits and Veggies(carbs) and Meat, you just eat in moderation. Try to make sure its good fats, high fiber carbs, good meats. Sure you can indulge in “bad/dirty” foods once in awhile, but in moderation. I mean, You can still crave meat on Vegeterian Diet. In Avoiding Simple Carbs, you still crave a donut or cake. I think every “Diet” has some merit, don’t completely rule is out.
As for skipping meals, I’ve eaten 3 meals a day, I’ve eaten 6 small meals during the day. We’re all fasting at some point during the day. I have yet to see a study where you have wake up in the middle of the night to eat. For me, Intermittent Fasting and skipping Breakfast works great for me, because, I don’t always have time to eat Breakfast anyway. Just like eating in moderation there are many more factors than just skipping meals that’s an issue.
In the end, Try it out and do what works for you.

Finally, a realistic approach to weight loss. As I approach my 60th birthday, the pounds have crept up and so has my blood pressure. I’ve tried to convince myself it’s just age; no, it’s consuming too much sugar. I got addicted to sugary coffee drinks. Slowly I weaned myself off of them and realized how much better I felt. I have eaten around 1300 a day for the last 3 months. My problem now is that I don´t now how I can increase my calories without gaining weight again. So how should I do it? By the way I really love your videos and your channel!!:D

I completely agree. Counting and tracking macros can be a very bad idea as it can lead to disordered eating in some people. Love the video. Gotta try to make those cookies

I never really understand how you know what you can eat and how you have to plan in such a way that it will fit your macros. Calculating them is not that hard, but actually getting the right macros on a daily base is what I don’t understand..

I used everything but his peanut butter cookie powder. I used pbfit instead and my misture was a straight up liquid. I wish he told his viewers which pb protein to buy. The link he gave has multiple flavors and none were peanut butter lol.

I was using an app that said I burn around 1600 calories per day! However I just calculated in the site you mentioned and it says I burn around 2000 cals!!! I’m gonna believe in this site now, because it made happier!! ahahhahah

Can not trust the food lables!!!!!!! They lie and they get away from it!!! Why? Because FDA is backing them up!!!! Look around you and see how many people, specially how little kids are suffering from illnesses/ diseases that it did not even exist 100 years ago!!!!! Something must change…and we the People can only do that by only buying the healthy and right food products…. All cereals( in reality they are chuck of GMO GRAIN CHUNK loaded with toxic sugar white or brown does not matter)in the boxes, canned foods with high sodium and a lot of preservative jammed in a aluminum cans, non organic meat, non organic fruits, non organic egg and much more loaded with pesticides ( have you ever thought what does pesticides do to animals…they harm people’s body 10 times more)…any convenience, boxed, canned, frozen and conventional toxic products must be banned from our food, GMO must be removed from our foods. Important toxic product from Japan, China and more other countries must be stopped from entering to our country and lifes. Eating healthy food and have access to organic fresh reasonably priced, not processed food is our simplest right as a human being… Stop buying junk food. Do not feed your kids with these stuff, if you do it, you will see the consequences in a very near future that are not reversible and you will regret it…stop it right now!!!!!
