O yea and am I supposed to eat all these fruits in every day or every fruit sometime in the day or all fruit sometime in the day or just eat fruit salad everyday??? Plz answer
I get really really hungry when I eat fiber. Like killer hungry so I do it but I know am eating a lot later. That me don’t know why?
I believed that lie for many years that apples, watermelon, bananas, pears, plums, blodgrape etc would help me loose weight, but the more fruit I ate the fatter I got. Why? They have a lot of sweet carbohydrates. A carbohydrate is some kind of sugar. Evidently eating or drinking carbohydrates (sugars in most forms) stops the body from burning its own bodyfat. Some people evidently must cut carbohydrates to a minimum 0-10 gr a day to force the body into using energy from stored bodyfat. When people with stubborn bodyfat adapt into that ”sugarstarvationlike” mode we start to slim down. Food that have moderate protein and fat and no carbohydrates seems to not hinder the body from burning its own fat. If or when You are slim or need to grow, please have sweet fruit, because You do not have too much fat stored in your body but those times in life when the bodyfat restricts You from moving the way You wish, Try to limit carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are found in fruit too, not only in bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, juice and dairyproducts. Eating food based on eggs, fatter qualitymeat, fat fish, leafy greens and combining that with a lot of water and intermittent fasting can for some people be a liberating but still tough diet to slim down on because the body has to adapt to quit using sugar as fuel.
Really glad you made this video, if contains some much needed and beneficial advice regarding the topic of cutting as hardly anyone else in the YouTube fitness realm seems to understand or touch upon the utility and benefit of consuming a fairly high fiber (from whole foods of course) diet. Personally, since I’ve increased the amount of fiber I have from fruits, vegetables, nuts/seeds, whole grains, and legumes, I’ve almost found it difficult to even consume my maintenance calories without feeling overly satiated, and as you mentioned in the video a majority of the people who find it very difficult to feel full on a cut are eating a diet severely lacking in fiber.

Halloween supply ended and I was craving sweets and the only thing I could find were the fiber gummies. I had 4 but did notice I was less hungry the entire day after. Still testing. But that is how I came here it might be #1.

I’m on Whole foot plant diet and it’s really easy to have high fiber intake. My fiber intake per day is 120-160g of fiber, never feel blooded and my digestion is perfect

I dont track it but I probably average 50-70g fiber daily. From whole foods. My shits are bulky and I feel lighter after each dump. The morning coffee facilitates the elimination process

I lost the weight, I lowered my body fat, I’ve kept it off for 5 years going so I’ve stopped listening to most experts, but I still listen to some like this channel. I started eating more veggies and zero fruit. I eat lots of raw avocado which is an excellent source of fiber. My fiber consumption is about 20g a day, sometimes more.

Real question…So I get that dietary fiber is key to poop, but how do we consume necessary 25G of fiber each day and not fart up a storm in the office?
I once lost 85 pounds the hard way following a low calorie diet and exercising. Then 1 year later I had regained 35 pounds. What did I miss? Stop being religious about calorie counting and exercising. Just start eating whole bread, lentils, broccoli and oatmeal. Now I am losing 2 pounds a week without even trying that hard. I’m getting around 40 grams of fiber a day. Best thing is I’m never that hungry, I have no more cravings, I never crash, I have a constant energy throughout the day and even more.

Love the videos. Calories in versus calories out is the not the end of the story. You should educate your viewers on quality of calories. I can be in a caloric deficit and still GAIN weight if the quality is poor. Cheers

I used to eat terrible and 120 K and I’m now 75 K.
The main tips that I follow from a friend of mine that really have helped me are:
(1 Breakfast: Have healthy carbs only in the morning.)
(2 Lunch: Eat lots of vegetables like broccoli and protein like chicken.)
(3 Dinner: Only and exclusively have a protein shake or a simple heavy protein meal with no carbs, and no carbs what so ever at night)
The explanation for this diet that was given to me that made a lot of sense to me was:
(1 Consume carbs in the morning so that I would utilize that energy throughout the day and not stored it as fat)
(2 Eat healthy meals that contain lots of fibre primarily from vegetables and protein, both fibre and protein meals will help you stay full for long periods of time, help you build muscle and help improve digestion.)
( 3 Only have protein shakes or heavy protein meals at night because after going to sleep after a good workout you will keep burning calories while you sleep and not burn what you just eat, and use the protein that you just had to build muscle while you sleep)
I followed those key principles and lost a lot of weight, primarily fat. So yes, I do believe fiber with a healthy and balanced diet can help a lot.

Glad I found your channel today. The first video I watched (a few minutes ago) was your ranger stories while you were in Korea. I’m going to basic in a little over a month. I was pretty much just looking for a video about military work out regiments but found that one & then this one. I never realized how much food played a role. Mostly bc I see overweight servicemen all the time. I figured as long as you were in shape and able to pass the apft, it didn’t matter.

People lacking on fiber cause they focus only on high protein sources and junk food it’s really easy to hit you’re fiber intake look at Chickpeas, red kidney beans, lentils, lots of leafy greens, chia, flaxseed, hempseed, Ezekiel bread, fresh fruits, berries, steel cut oatmeal, non starchy veggies. Simple just eat real food.
My issue is I’m trying to do keto and you hardly get fiber with keto outside of avocados.

Don’t increase your fiber too fast. Do it gradually otherwise GI tract will be messed up! Also, Metamucil has been shown to lower cholesterol.

Fiber is important, but the phytic acid in it does cause bloating. You can retrograde white rice, potatoes, legumes and oats to give them fibrous properties, but you still want at least one real fiber food. For me that’s 2 slices of ezekial bread and cruciferous vege’s.
