Seems like the elites know where grass f3d is. It will be my quest to f!nd it.
Why would there be any pesticides related to making cheese? And wow, he said 2-3 Oz per meal? That’s like 4 pieces of nice medium cheddar, per meal?! If I ate two meals a day, that’s at 6-8 slices of real cheddar per day, which is 42 slices of cheese a WEEK?! I would love to really know how much cheese Dr. Berg eats and what kind on an average day. And here I thot if I ate 2-4 slices a day, it was too much.
But it the video still doesn’t answer it’s own question is cheese bad for us! The information in the video is good, but I really dislike these videos with a interesting title that then doesn’t answer the question it asks. Sorry for being negative, on balance I find the videos very informative, eye-opening and helpful, but this does come up not so rarely on this channel.
I wonder what Dr Berg thinks about RAW grass fed cheese? Many people believe that pasteurizing (cooking, heating) cheese damages the fat soluble vitamins like D, E, K, and others. Raw, or aged cheese from grass fed and grass finished cows or goats is supposed to be better
Cheese makes me breakout like a mofo though. I love it but we can never be.
I wonder…. What if you took the salt out of it… Wonder if anyone would eat it.
Oh! Yippee Dr. you are from WISCONSIN!! UWM Product and my best friends are from Milwaukee So I get excited hearing anyone from Wisconsin!!
Man i miss melted cheese. Saw a guy in a swedish carnivore group linking his meatzaa breakfast, its that melted cheese though. Swedish dairy even non organic is mainly grass fed, although maybe down toward 50-60% in non organic, and maybe like… 80% id reckon in general in organic sector…
But melted cheese… tasty. But skin argues if eaten too much, says it all… so how could one get thst te texture?!
Getting raw milk, making cottage cheese perhaps…
Tips?:o
Damn, i just made a almond flour crust veggie pizza with feta cheese????
Hey Frank, currently i eat about 300-400 gramms of cheese a day.0.7 to 0.8 pounds). usually Swiss Grueyere or l’Etivaz, parmigiano reggiano (i live in switzerland and all these cheese are avialiable in main supermarket stores, organic, verified). or I buy them from health-food stores.. point is, they’re always made from raw milk and usually animal rennet. sometimes raw sheep milk cheese as well but i prefer cow taste-wise. my question, is there an issue of eating this much cheese almost daily?
I just discovered raw cheese. Was led to it in my new location at Aldi. Raw Imported Parmigiana.. OMG My body loves it.. I now eat it every day..Surprisingly I thought it would be constipating.. its the opposite… Helps me sleep better too. thanks for your great info.Frank
If I bake raw milk cheese do I losse some vitamins and enzymes?
Ahhhh the ‘summer of cheese’ was a grand time! But opposite of the ‘Summer of Love’ because of the constant constipation and break-outs ☺️
How to pick 1 natural organic non gmo cheese, and 1 to avoid?to much ingridients make me confused
Dodoni cheese is 100% grassfed but it’s pasteurized. Eat or not?
Dr Berg,
What about Philadelphia Cheez, we can find lots of Keto recipes with it on the web… its it ok??
Thank you for all your videos and tips.
Im lactose intolerant but I thought with lactase pills I could eat pizza like once a month because…Pizza. But since the start of puberty I have really bad acne and its 100% caused by dairy. After I stopped eating dairy my skin cleared up so much. I thought it was caused by the milksugar that my body can’t digest so it flushes it out trough the pores but even when I take these pills that have the enzymes my body is lacking, to digest the dairy, I get breakouts. So its caused by the hormones in the milk (was proven by studies that where not fundet by the dairy industrie lmao). Conclusion: Don’t drink cows milk. Its made for baby cows and not for the human body
and it will only………… cost 3x the amount of the normal cheese you been buying
You do a great job Mr. dr Greger, thank you, very appreciated and greetings from Hungary.
Fantastic Frank. I live in Switzerland and I almost forgot how great cheese is (shame on me!)
I must have missed the part where you explain why cheese is bad for you. NutritionFacts is a vegan propaganda organization.
This video didn’t answer its own title. It should be titled: Conflicts of Interest in Government Funded Research (or, Cheese Conspiracy).
Milk is bad, but how about Vegan Cheese? Might be vegan, but is processed, unhealthy too
All dairy makes me break out, not my thing. I love my meat, poultry, and fish though
So, what about Bothwell Farms, it says “Non GMO” and it has the certified seal on it?
I found this guy’s manufactured voice extremely annoying, which prevented me from watching the rest of it.
Fermented foods are my No.1 nutrition source and cheese is my favourite!!!
Time to plant kale, A green easy to grow in ornamental pots as well as the garden. Yum with cheese.
I was worried about string cheese, not being there because I thought it was unhealthy, and I learned it’s mozzarella cheese! Yay! Mozzarella cheese is healthy, because string cheese is my favorite!
I just started ketogenic diet yesterday. What I don’t understand is Cheddar cheese is good for keto, but I read the ingredients that it was made with cornstarch which is a no no for keto diet. This diet is hard, we can easily eat the wrong food!!
Radiation is bad for you.
Injecting heroin is bad for you.
Drinking mercury is bad for you.
Eating rusty razor blades are bad for you.
.
.
Cheese is delicious and gives me energy because it has calories.
I love how every time i have a question or need to know more about something you mention in one of your vlogs and I decide to go look it up to expand my knowledge on the topic you pop up in the search option… and it becomes my first choice!
With so much information on YT you have to examine everything carefully to know who really know what they are saying from who is just repeating medical myth.
Knowledge is the key to open doors, but understanding allow you to walk through it!
I’ve learned a great deal from your videos to make a more informed decision regarding my health.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for giving your knowledge and precious time Dr. Berg. Deeply appreciated.
We eat so much Gruyère in Switzerland.
I often do scrambled eggs with butter and shredded Gruyère or Parmesan, it’s so good.
PLEASE MENTION STORY OF INDIA IN YOUR UPCOMING VIDEOS. WHY INDIANS WORSHIP COWS? Because COW GIVES MILK CHEESE BUTTER YOUGURT. WITHOUT ANIMAL FAT LIFE IS INCOMPLETE
Does anybody care about the quality of the grass that the grass fed cows eat?
But a lot of thoose oyu get from a lot of cheese so it’s kinda missleading!? wouldent it have been better if you just put upp the stuff that you only get from 100% grassfed animals?
It’s not the cheese that’s fed grass, it’s actually cows! Beside that specific point thank you so much for your videos, i’ve learned a lot!
Wpuld love to hear more about the absorbstion of calcium and what we need to make that happen
And yet Dr Bubblehead will tell us that every vegan agenda study is unbiased. Like that Netflix shit movie he is in
I’m gone to trade my Pepper Jack Cheese for Swiss Cheese! ❤❤
Dear Dr. Berg, thank you so much for your videos and time, you are the one who encouraged me to start keto and eat more healthy. However I have a question for you, can we eat cottage cheese, which is organic and made by relative farmers?
Ok I’m going to try this. I bought 18 eggs, brick of ColbyMonterey Jack cheese, pound of bacon, baby spinach, Roma tomatoes and celery. Have been eating roasted chicken, Romain salad with avacados and baked sweet potatoes last two weeks. Haven’t lost an oz. Sigh. Ready to try anything. I am 90-100 lb over weight and 5’9″.
Great video but it had little to do with the title. Please change the title.

@Dr. Eric Berg DC, But you never mentioned what kinds of cheese you eat everyday… I heard it was Petite Basque, (can you confirm?) but what other cheeses are a good way to walk the path needed to “work up” to tolerating that Petit Basque smell? And can other people smell you all day afterwards? Thank you! I’m much obliged! Merry Christmas! ⛄❄
Get the cheese with a PDO/AOP/IGP mark on it, that means good quality!!
Not trying to be offensive, but I didn’t learn anything at all
Don’t know why I’m watching this video. I’m African and eat only 100% organic food 99% of the time. I don’t even eat cheese, lol.
All morons stop listening to frank…you are not a carnivore because you buy meat at the store stop it people
I’m in and we can’t get raw diary (except imported cheese from Europe). I can find grass fed cow, sheep even buffalo milk from farmers market they’re all, forced by the federal government, to be pasteurized. It’s INSANE
Nah, I think I’ll go with the science. Cheese is liquid meat.
Hi Dr. Berg. Please, what do you recomend me, if I’m obsessed with cheese? It is really serious I have been in ketosis wirhout cheese and since I am eating it, I gained lot’s of weight + obsession. Thank you
Please translate all ur video to arabic becouse im egyption and my language is arabic… I understand but not all
Also please if i can make any help or support in u dr Berg i will be happy becouse u help many person and i will be happy if i help or support u
Also my mobile & whatsapp is + 2 01006268150
Thank u a looooot
It’s definitely bad for the cow who got raped to have the baby be murdered and then her get hooked up her whole life to a machine until they squeeze out the last drop and then stab her in the throat for a hamburger, and that’s all that really matters.
What you call “cheese” in the US has nothing to do with actual cheese. Your cheese is some sort of processed rainbowish thing that melts.
There’s a big difference between natural cheese and processed plastic. And there’s different types of cheeses. Cottage, edam, gouda are packed with good micro nutrients. And also there are bad cheeses with not much micro nutrients. Don’t throw everything in to one bag. Now all your subscribers think all cheeses are bad because of the video you put out.
This videos is very confusing!!!
POLITICS!!
WHY EXPLAIN IT THAT WAY!
YOU WASYED MY TIME!!!
Love my cheese, I try and get my calcium from diet, I buy Gouda, grana padano, Manchego and pecorino.
Can you do a dedicated blue cheese video? That’s something I would like to learn more about.
What about cheeses made from goat or sheep? Aren’t those cheeses naturally grass fed?
Ok all the politics but the title isn’t answered is it good or bad
I checked on the international options and there were no cheeses; are they too perishable for that?
This video did nothing to prove whether or not cheese is bad for you, just that big companies will do studies trying to promote their products.
So rich people can eat cheese, candy and they won’t be unhealthy? Why would being rich Prevent the negative affects of cheese and candy?
I live in the UK. I get Spanish Iberico cheese from an importer. This is made from unpasteurised milk, 1/3 each cow’s milk, sheep and goat milk. It’s the bollocks. I also get chorizo from the same place. Cheese and chorizo are my breakfast on work days. I call it the Mediterranean diet. In some contrast to the “Mediterranean Diet” of the “Mayo clinic”. Finally I’m getting fashionable.
Pointing out biases in research is very useful (although that was rather obnoxiously done), but you didn’t actually address the title of the video, which is what I clicked on it for
Did he anywhere in this video say what kind of cheese? Wasted a click
whats you opinion on KerryGold Dubliner cheese? I really like it!
Binge watching your videos! This is another very informative video, WOW! The cheese in Greece is really good, Greeks make excellent goat and sheep cheese. I can’t afford any of them, I buy the Romano Pecorino Cheese from Costco made with sheep milk, also has the seal of Authenticity, and is made in Italy!
Keerygold is grass fed or so they say. But milk is pasteurized
Hi Dr. Berg…What are your thoughts on Paneer? Is It keto Friendly?
It’s used in Indian Cooking.
Nutrition people are the craziest so-called ‘scientists’ in the world. You people don’t have any answers at all and according to you guys everything is bad and everything will kill you. One year something is the truth and the next year “it turns out that we were wrong”. I think Anglo-American nutrition is the real problem. That’s why you fetishize foreign diet so much, because you desperately long for that completely common-sense diet, practiced over centuries, without any need for mountains of peer-reviewed papers, that decades of factory food failed to give you. I pity you so much. You guys may not be starving over there but you’re pathetic.
Just exercise and eat in variety and moderation! What’s so hard about that? I don’t wanna see another one of your garbage ads
Watch out Frankie, according to the study below, Parmesan has an almost negligible K2 content:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5946231/
Not sure if this Parmesan was made from raw milk or not, but it’s still kind of worrying. I can say I have anecdotal experience that I feel better when consuming higher K2 cheeses, such as Camembert.
I started eating raw sheep cheese, thoughts? I like it, it’s only dairy I like. I don’t eat cow milk cheese it makes me feel gross. one thing tho not sure how much is too much? I ate a whole pie slice of it today, hmm., hard to eat just a little.
you are not addressing the arguments in the articles themselves, you just flat-out disregard the articles because their authors have an interest in promoting dairy. isn’t your philosophy about looking at the facts and drawing conclusions for yourself? facts, statistics, logic, common sense? well you didn’t look at any facts but did draw a conclusion.
i’m not defending dairy and i like how you pointed out how sneaky these people are when hiding their ties to dairy. they clearly wouldn’t threaten their own livelihoods, so these articles should be read with great attention to detail. but isn’t it superficial to stop reading an article after first confirming that the authors benefit from painting a positive picture of their article’s subject matter?
wouldn’t the videos of a person leading a plant and mushroom based, whole food diet be suspicious if they dealt with the health benefits of vegetables, fruit, beans, legumes etc. and the detrimental effects of meat and dairy? with your logic they would, but this suspicion would be unjustified and the videos would turn out to be very instructional.
so please tell me or someone else who is reading this what in particular these articles misinterpreted.
thank you.
There is a raw blue cheese at my local Whole Foods, but it has Calcium Chloride in the ingredients. I’m aware this is a type of salt, in chemistry we actually lit it on fire and I believe it turned the flame an orange color. Whats your opinion on it being in food? Safe or skip?
I think for dairy it has a lot to do with genetics with how your body reacts. I’m half Japanese and can barely digest dairy at all and feel drained all day if I eat a slice, but everyone was eating and drinking dairy for every meal when I went to italy was fine
The US government is one of the most corrupt in the world. No government agency is to be trusted as they are all controlled by big business. Whether its the FDA, the FAA, the USDA, the EPA, etc, etc. The sooner you learn not to trust US products and the recommendations of US agencies, the sooner you’ll live longer.
Grass fed cheese is very expensive here in Argentina, most people can’t afford it
I was hoping he would mention which ones are better i.e more fat less carbs no sugar. Halloumi? Cheddar? Mozerella? Ricotta?
American Dairy and European dairy are not the same! I don’t advocate eating dairy, but if you do, only chose european dairy from A2 cows that were pastured year round, and where the product was produced using traditional methods. To add, cheeses in Europe were traditionally not heated but eaten fresh with breads or fruit.
I feel GREAT when I eat grass-fed organic butter, moderate amounts of organic aged quality cheese with enzymes. I am completely inflamed by carbs like fruit, potatoes, rice any kind, and bread eeeeks. Pain from carbs!!!!!!!!!!!
Dutch, one of the biggest cheese consumers = tallest people on earth…….. Keep with the grass vegans, if your kids are also the will way more shorter. Cheese, whole Eggs and Meat , my parents lived on he country side of Brazil in a really poor place when growing they couldn’t afford to eat animal protein that was luxury they eated most fruits and cereals like rice….when they had me they were living in the city I way more better situation so I was able to get much more protein and a lot of them came from diary. results: mom: 4’11(148cm) dad:5’3(160cm) me: 5’7(170cm)…. Thanks mozzarella cheese
But does the grass have chemicals with fertilizer? Too much to look in to lol
Thank you for the vid:D just wondering… Is all cheese fermented? I bought some Gouda cheese today and I was wondering if this will be healthy for me in terms of high k2 content?
Let me guess it’s bad for you? This charlatan of a doctor is pure cancer
So your video didn’t say anything about whether cheese is healthy…
not surprised, but how do we let more people be aware of this?? people have the right to wake up and understand the food that they are putting into their mouth. i’m so worried about our future…
Thanks a lot,all the time I try to benifite of your video as information and learn english that I’m a Kurdish person
Watched the whole video and… still don’t know if cheese is bad for me or why
Hey Frank if I got sick from raw meat from Whole Foods do you recommend just getting your meat and slightly cooking it? I won’t take aajonus vonderplanitz advice anymore.
This is the same across all areas. It just shows that you can’t trust anything that references a ‘study’.
Cheese collect the bits of protein and calcium of milk and leave out a lot of the lactose and sugar so it’s very good even tho I don’t like it alot
So, if candy and dairy are consumed in quantity by rich Europeans, and rich Europeans enjoy relatively good health, who is to say that candy and cheese really are bad for you? Greger laughs at the idea, but it seems like an obvious obstacle to his conclusion.
Dearest Dr Berg please, please, please start sharing the name of the grass fed sausage source and other grass fed meats, too that you use to mail order the grass fed products, including the cheese. I think Natural Grocers in my area is carrying grass fed cheese, but need to go back and check that out today. Thank you so much!
I’ve never heard so much ignorance from a doctor and at the same time being so biased.
1. If OR, RR, and HR are less than 2.0, then there’s no evidence at all that something it’s bad.
2. In Europe cheese is cheap.
3. It doesn’t matter who funds the studies, it just matters the way that study has being done, and what results you get.
Oh come on! There’s a huge difference between processed cheese from MacDonalds / Taco Bell compared to high quality European cheeses, especially raw which is loaded with probiotics, Vitamin A, Calcium and K2-MK4 which cannot be found in any plant food. Also B-vitamins (specifically B-12)
I do not eat cheese. By the serving, that is. No, I ingest it by the pack full.
Nutrition propaganda from a failed medical student. Gregory is a depopulation tool and is evil.
The dairy industry is in panic mode as so many are ditching it. The vegan movement is gaining so much momentum that they have to produce bogus studies to con the public.
From ASIA Cheese is ok in moderation so is BEEF & PORK & CHICKEN! Your FAKE NEWS
You really have to come to The Netherlands one day. We have really really good cheese. Also, I can buy raw cheese, raw milk and raw milkkefir here, although, not in every shop.
Am just tired the world keeps on confusing me i go left Cheese is bad i go right Cheese is good am just tired
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-4493900/amp/Trendy-vegan-diets-wreck-child-s-health.html
Really disappointed in this Click Bait video. The title is totally misleading. This is not about “Why or why not cheese is bad for you,” but rather (allegedly) “shady tactics used by the dairy industry, and the government”. The doctor and his agenda are as unethical as the forces they impugn.
Dr.Berg… U need to discuss how bad cheese can be for many people!!! Causing leaky gut…. etc.
Hi Dr, we need a perfect keto and OMAD plan daily what to eat?
Dr. Greger. I miss you man!! I use to get your vids DAILY on my phone but I don’t know what happened??? Now I can only see them when I bump into them randomly on youtube! HELP ME!!! I really.miss your teaching!!! ( by the way, I’ve seen over a THOUSAND of your vids and want MORE!!)
Which cheese is the healthiest cheese for everyone in the world????
Raw cheeses are dangerous after one bite i eat the whole thing it is too delicious
So I’m a huge fan of cheese. I’ve been dieting for 3 months doing the 16/8 intermittent fasting. I love this new way of life, but everyday I get home from work I eat at least 3 pieces of string cheese. Is this horrible for me? I’ve dropped over 20lbs but I’m wondering how much the string cheese is slowing this weight loss.
Dairy, as in cows milk? Are you a baby cow? No, well why drink it. Would you drink dogs milk?
Simpleton.
I lived in Siena Italy for one year and was astounded at the rich, golden color of the eggs and most cheeses, all with incredible texture, flavor, and character. I now live in New England where there is a long standing culture of raw milk dairy products. It’s a real gift, one that I wish all people could enjoy and benefit from. By the way, I just subscribed to your site!
The fucking GOAT of nutritional investigation. Thanks for saving me from a ton of health issues down the road and making me feel better within days of cutting animal products Dr G
I wish Dr Berg’s was more realistic. Not everyone can afford the best of the best. What the asker probably wanted was a kind of cheese like cheddar or provolone. Not something that’s going to be out of reach for most people.
Dairy is not good for you. But modern day doctors and US government don’t don’t want us to be completely healed. Dairy creates mucus in your body and mucus holds bacteria. The bacteria is what causes cancer aids etc.
I found raw edam cheese from Grocery Outlet it is beyond delicious
You must try the sulguni, west georgian cheese and other georgian dairy products such as matsoni and so on.
Big Pharma does not want you “healthy”, but a pill sucker. Solid and liquid CHEESE is 3000 yrs, truth your MD From MD School.
Love parmigiano reggiano. Also consume Grana Padano and enjoy it. That one’s good too right?
Any video that promotes better health without a financial motive deserves a thumbs up in my opinion. Thank you. ☺
Try the parmigiano reggiano crust in the microwave for few seconds
i’m french, we got hundreds of good cheese, cheese is great.
You should try other french raw milk cheese:Comté,Roquefort, reblochon, abondance, raclette etc..Although these might be hard to find in the US
I feel bad for americans
The farmers artificially impregnate their cows to get milk, and that is how you get cheese. Not healthy!
Thank you for making these videos and for your time. ❤️ from Ohio
So…. is cheese good for you or not? Answer the fooking question!!! If you don’t want to answer the fooking question change the title to: is the government giving your money to the dairy industry?
Hi Frankie, what’s your opinion on the different blue cheeses? Someone try to tell me they were dangerous cos the had mould… Lol♀️
I love cheese. And when I was in Europe everyone had a cheese board for breakfast
Is there another level better like free range + 100% grass fed? The animal could be confined in a cell while been grass fed? If any please share…. thanks dr
Stephanie Persons utube “cheese cheese cheese on the Keto diet” it a very informative video… and explains why cheese can be and usually is extremely harmful. We all need to work together and learn. And help everyone heal!
Happy healthy people make a happy world!
After 2 years of being dairy free I just ate some parmigianno reggiano and didn’t have a reaction.. crazy! Never knew this
Does raw cheese affect lactose intolerance? I know aged cheese is more easy-going so I want to consume more of that, but I would definitely like to try raw, as well.
Hey Frank. Don’t forget the Roquefort… https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/news/9749949/The-secret-to-why-the-French-live-longer-Roquefort-cheese.html
The Microbiology of Cheese (featuring The Cheese Nun)…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2Aq0Mv-uIQ
We are designed to go to the source which are the vegetables, grains, fruits. We dont need a cow to filter the food for us and turn it processed addictions. When stuff is concentrated into cheese it becomes more like a pharmaceutical or drug than food. At best it helps you when your starving but it can kill you if you indulge in too much and its very easy to eat too much. How many people can eat just one bite? No one, so its dangerous. If your smart, dont eat cheese, alcohol, indulgent foods and get used to basic nutrition. At first it takes some determination and discipline and effort but its worth it. Throw away your indulgences.
I urge you to try Comté AOP from France (minimum 18-24 months of refining of course), you’re gonna die. And of course it’s raw cow milk.
French butter is CULTURED and can go bad after a while tasting like bleu cheese… You can taste the tang from the cultured cream
Frank! Are parmigiano reggiano rinds still healthy? Do they still contain the nutrient profile of the actual cheese itself?
I buy REAL CHEESE, FROM REAL FARMS, WHERE I CAN MEET THE COWS AND SEE THE PROCESS. Cheese makes me poop so nice, love you CHEESE!! CHINA CHEESE = CHEMICAL WEAPON.
The way I see it and The way I am going to live my life is…….. Anything is healthy in Moderation, as long as you dont sit on your lazy a** all day doing nothing & Actually get up and exercise, go for a walk, go to the gym, etc. For 45 Minutes to an Hour each day….. I aint depriving myself of anything to make my life miserable just to live a few weeks longer
I guess natural means something if people are buying imitation cheese.
No I should know being the king of it and not a hooman no I’m a cheese person
I watched the video but did not hear the answer to the question. So is cheese really bad for you?
I do so well on dairy crazy how people say they get acne from it. Cheese and butter has improved my skin so much!! Just ate 500g of mozzarella
So people high on the socio economic ladder eat cheese and are healthy. Therefore cheese is bad. Wait what?
Thank you Doctor my health is transforming i hope that i would b able to meet u someday to thank you personally God Bless you
Thank you Dr. Berg! I love cheese and since we live in the wonderful Island of Sardegna we have good quality cheese here. All the best to you!
We have been eating cheese for 100s of years
Cut the bs pin head skeletor
The over consumption of lower grades of crap cheese IS bad for you. The heavily propagandized dairy industry, subsidized by governments is corrupt. However, a little wedge of high quality, hand crafted aged artisan cheese is not that big a deal. Just not cheese with every meal, melted, stuffed, fried or otherwise. If your cheese is not dipped in wax, it’s probably crap.
I am starting to think that cheese isn’t healthy even when doing keto.
Its practically impossible to find 100% grass fed cheese. Even at whole foods, the best you’ll find is organic. not even grass fed.
Thank you very much for your video but I would lile to make a point: I believe that most people following keto including me of course, can’t even afford to buy cheese labelled as organic.
Hmm…I thought lobbyists managed to change the regulations so now ‘organic’ products can be treated with pesticides…non-GMO though is still pesticide free (for now).
For blue cheese I recommend everyone try Roquefort and d’Auvergne, made in France with raw milk.
Comte is also delicious. And Appenzeller has the same nuttiness and depth as Gruyere with a sweeter kick and less heavy aftertaste. Also raw cheeses
Personally speaking, I have removed all dairy from my diet and my bloating and acne miraculously disappeared. It’s almost as if it’s too good to be true. Whenever I eat a slice of pizza, I have a breakout of acne. I have to share my part, even though probably I will get hate for it. It seems as if my body wasnt made to eat dairy

I know a self promoted nutritional “expert” that won’t give her son a tofu because of phytoestrogen but will chug milk and cheese into him because it is “health” food:\
In other videos Cheddar cheese was considered bad. But you said good.
Love your video, I try and get my calcium from diet, much better than pills. On most days I have about 100gr of cheese per day, usually grana padano but also, swiss, gouda, manchego and pecoreno. The anti dairy lobby have got it all wrong. Back in 1962 my father was in an accident and I remember my mum telling me that while he was in hospital he was given cheese every day to aid healing of the broken bones.
Cheese is protein fat and vitamins so why it’s not healthy? Or is this a vegan propaganda?
Dude looks like Christian Bale’s psycho, no doubt he is one.
Went to Whole Foods today and asked one of the cheese snobs there abt grass fed cheese and he looked at me like I was keto fried. Said never heard of it and then proceeded to take me from all the nice foodie like cheeses to some prepackaged stuff in plastic that did say from grass fed cows but passed on it due to looking like processed cheese
You can apply your logic to any industry, this doesnt prove at all that cheese is bad for you…
So the cheese from Heidi’s grandfather also helped heal Clara to get up and leave her wheelchair behind. Heidi helped her play out in the sunshine, breathe fresh air, drink clean water, and be happy. I’ve always loved this story. It held a lot of lifesaving truth. Thank you Frank.
You sometimes may sound like a jerk but you are our jerk and we love you. Keep trolling, keep speaking truth.
Did you see what Aajonus Vonderplanitz said about raw cheese? I think he said it’s great at absorbing toxins. I think he ate it most days every few hours. Do you have any knowledge on this? 😉
I grow cheese at home but they don’t want JUST grass so I have to switch it up, but aleast my cheese eat maybe 60%grass/day.
3-4 ounces per meal? Is that for 3 meals a day, or assuming you do omad? Cause that sounds like a lot.
Frank gets a lot of flak for his diets. I think this is an awesome video breaking down some of the health benefits of cheese. Thanks Frank. Check out my app on the App Store. Search “Quartz: Timer”
It’s true, the quality of cheese does make a difference! Although I have a lactose intolerance, I do still eat a bit of cheese only if its from grass fed and high quality of course!
I love cheese. But Auntie Fee always be saying it’s for fat people or kids.
HAHAHA. This guy has only eaten cheese his whole life…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rmjCCpY6cM Funnily enough, he looks OK on it. Wonder what his blood work is like?
Cheese was our cultures original source of storable fat and protein. Like the Indians had pimmican, a pulverized fatty jerky product stored in leather; we have cheese, a curdled milk product stored in a fat soaked cheesecloth (or a pot of sea water). I’ll continue to eat what my ancestors did THANK YOU VERY MUCH baby-Gregor.
Cheese has been unjustly vilified. I eat a lot of cheese about 100gr per day, plus butter, milk, kefir and yoghurt.
There are cheeses that are raw and grass fed yet have virtually zero or very low k2 levels and there’s some with huge amounts. If your looking for k2 you need to find the certain cheeses that actually have it in worthwhile amounts.
I agree with you. I just found your tone in the video to sound condescending and a bit annoying. Other than that enjoyed the info.
Yes, but this video is quite general, though I understand why. If you have trouble with dairy, then gorgonzola, blue cheese, aged cheddar (extra mature British, especially), and feta will less likely cause a reaction in people and have less lactose from what I have read. I rarely eat the cheaper parmesan anymore, though I love it. I am really into gorgonzola and feta. I have IBS, and I don’t want to cut out cheese, so I am being careful about which ones I eat.
People need to realise they can eat anything they want as long as it’s in moderation.
But how to make it I only know how to make unsalted cottage cheese. It doesn’t melt though. I really like processed cheese.
Ah! My favs are on the list (besides Provolone & Peperjack) Swiss, Cheddar & Feta ❤
Im wondering if blue cheese is good on keto….l always thought it had good bacteria that was beneficial for the gut…
Thank you for the wonderful informative presentations!
I don’t see anything on this so:
Would grass fed sheep cheese be good as well? It’s not “dairy” so avoids the digestive troubles. ( goat cheesesopinion)
Thanks.
Oh my gosh this is definitely for me I’m always looking for the healthiest choice and everything that I eat. my goal is to continue losing my baby weight and I’ve been doing great and how I’m actually helping others to do the same thank you so much dr. Oz like always you are awesome!
