Here’s a potent green juice recipe we use at a wellness center…
2 large leaves chard
1/2 -1 head of romaine lettuce
Handful of watercress leaves
Small slice purple cabbage
1/5 green bell pepper
1 green apple
I only dislike yellow tomatoes red peppers and spinach because its so dry
First off let me just say I love cauliflower and I’ve made it in so many different ways. But I haven’t seen a video that talks about the 11g of sugar a head has!? So, if you’re on keto how is cauliflower ok to eat? Someone please help!
cauliflower is tremendous. its taste is so good. from my childhood i eat it raw. it is full of fibre and it also help in digestion if u eat it raw u will understand. i love it my cauliflower
Do a pink salad. Put some chopped cauliflower in a bowl. Put some slices red onion and little bit very fine sliced red cabbage. Season with cayenne pepper, lemon juice and nutritional yeast. It’s gooood
Hey love cauliflower too! I’m from New Orleans and I was introduced to it fried in a Italian seasoned breading. Awesome! Kids love it especially…
I’ve been using cauliflower as a meat substitute. Just had vegan chili, substituing the ground beef for cauliflower. Tastes great and a lot better for you.
It will protect you from diabetes problem and you got to decide everything okay stay young and beautiful drink a lot of water
Lol! It’s cruciferous not coniferous, conifers are pine trees!
One cup of cauliflower has the recommended fiber you need. Helps reduce the appearance of any bruising.
I just boiled mine haha still enjoyed it though. I shall try sauteed next
we love cauliflower!

Me and my son love cauliflower! My son thinks it tastes really good and he wants to taste the yellow one because gold is his favorite color and he wants to try something that looks like his favorite color. He’s eating it right now with some bread!
Who would’ve known the albino version of broccoli was healthy too
As I commented just before on your first video: you are a deeply good-hearted person. Thank you Doc! You are one of those raising humanity to Humanity:o)
I cook in the microwave for six minutes, let it cool for a few minutes and then dip the florets into mint sauce. Yummy.
My Syrian husband sautées it in olive oil until it’s brown around the edges, lightly salts it and omg it’s amazingly good. He adds a little freshly squeezed lemon juice to his but I prefer it w salt.
Cauliflower is amazing! I really love it, and I have it with my lunch and dinner mostly.
I love cauliflower! I really want to try purple cauliflower since purple is one of my favorite colors.
I bought the Swiss chard with the intention of cooking it but I followed your recipe and this was the best tasting green juice I’ve ever had thus far. Even the pulp tastes good on its own. I will make this again and again. Thanks for getting my morning off to a good start!
1it is bad for you, same with Kale. Do some research.

I’ve been growing chard for a few years. It’s great in place of spinach in salads. Best sautéed green when using bacon grease, onion & a splash of Grandmas pepper sauce!
Great veg, but if you are hypothyroid this goitrogen will detrimentally affect the thyroid. It should not be eaten raw but cooked, and only eaten in moderation.
Glad I came across your channel! I just bought some beautiful rainbow chard at the farmers market. I can’t wait to eat every bite of it!
Swiss chard is amazing, looks like chard is the girls best friend.
Butter, oil and salt? You’re new you the nutrition world aren’t you?
Love Swiss chard! Thank you for the video. My favorite is red chard mixed in a romaine salad with grape tomatoes. I like a vinaigrette dressing. Dense nutrition when you need something quick to eat. Another favorite is to saute in avocado oil with red onions and portobello mushrooms seasoned with black pepper and some rosemary. My neighbors tell me the aroma is awesome. I never ate this as a kid, but as an adult, I truly enjoy it.
Do you guys only do health advice on nutrition? I mean like could you do some videos on cold showers?
I’m growing rainbow chard this year! Can’t wait for my first harvest!
I started eating chard because it was a superfood, and the leaves are very pretty at the market. In listening to this video I am happy to know about the nutritional value of this spinach, and will continue to eat more of it. Thanks for the info!
I just ate about 6 large Swiss chard leaves with parsley and cilantro, all fresh from my organic garden. Got to keep my immune-system strong against this covid-19 virus!
Means I can eat as my Chemo going on. I never tried it before. I bought it today and for my heal I will eat.✅
I’m your fan! A special hello to you and Dr. Fuhrman from Chicago IL
Thats all great Doc but can we buy organic chard without pesticides and all poisons used to grow that plant?
Swiss Chard is not Swiss. It’s a common vegatable that grows in many countries. But it is as Dr. Mandell says; Very healthy!
Getting your Greens in a juice is the way to go, we do a dinner time greens juicing, meaning exactly that…add some plant protein, super greens powder, always that apple and lemon to give it a GREAT taste…and you’ll be feeling good and healthy. We also do morning smoothie with fruits like banana, strawberry, blueberry, royal jelly, bee pollen, plant protein, 1 lemon, oatmeal, flax-chia-coconut blend, and shredded coconut (all organic), turmeric, pinch of black pepper, almonds or walnuts and when fruits are not organic we soak the fruit in water with 3-4 squirts of distilled white vinegar for 10 min or more. We are into morning and evening shakes, morning are fruits, and evenings are greens, if you want our recipe, just reach out…I can email you, we do as much organic, non-gmo as we can for healthy bodies.
Thanks Doc. Just happens that we grow lots of Rainbow Chard year round in our aquaponics gh. That and Bokchoy and 3 kinds of Kale. I will put the juicer to work

This will also give you kidney stones in case you already suffer from this pathology due to its high oxalate content… especially in this case when eaten raw.

Should be noted that it contains a high amount of oxalic acid that in some people is said to form kidney stones.

Thank you for always looking out for people and wanting to help others. It’s much appreciated.
Started juicing 18 yrs ago best thing I’ve ever been shown by a friend. Anyone looking for a juicer try finding a used one on sites like offerup craigslist ect. Unfortunately juicers are often used a few times then collect dust but this means someone in need may get a brand new juicer for 1/4 the price usually there very easy to see if they haven’t been used much or were well cared for. Get juicing experiment with recipes a half of lemon with skin can make a good juice amazing. Cheers
Yes definitely a great healthy recipe. Walnuts are so good with salad. I sometimes eat rice with walnuts
My Fav green is morninga leaf powder! Little more realistic for most people to actually use in the morning, and it’s way more nutrient dense compared to most greens like kale
