I just wanted to say I am thankful for your channel.
I have parents who are controlling, never apologise, never observe personal space, unempathetic and regularly claim they are perfect beings and infallible. They are super religious and state that they have risen to sainthood.
It wreaked havoc on my mental health as I was growing up and broke my self esteem which took me a year and a half living away from them abroad in another country to partially repair. But these mental scars never go away, not especially when the psychological injury was sustained repeatedly throughout my childhood.
But I reckon because of the stuff I went through, I have begun to understand what kindness truly is and to develop my empathy side. In addition I realise the importance of emotional awakening, emotional maturity and development of my emotional intelligence. Furthermore I have developed the insight to not let my past affect my future.
Everytime I feel down, I know I have your videos to watch. They have been inspirational and let me know I’m not alone.

These tips are interesting, but for some you need the energy to do them.
I’m often very very low on energy, which makes it very difficult to even think about having the energy to go to a store or change my room… I know it’s usually when i’m overstimulated by work (like today) and my energy will come back (always very slowly, but i still heal…). So its also okay to just lay in bed and wait for the energy to come… Next to movies, watching old pictures/ eating or sniffing favorite food from my childhood also helps…

Why smoking should be banned:
On cigarette packets it states there is over 70 substances that cause cancer.
The poor smoke more due to stress, anxiety, depression and if politics do things so the poor can’t afford cigarettes then they do without gas and electricity.

I have been so stressed out that for the first time in my entire life i have skipped my period! I am a fully grown woman well into adulthood but not quite close to the change yet. I have all of my usual PMS symptoms, horrible cramps and that dreadful hormonal change that makes my head spin and feel horrible but no period. My cycles are like clock work. They NEVER skip… anytime i thought it would not come it always popped up by night fall or early small hours but not this time. This is how stressed ive been. And NO i am NOT pregnant.. unless you believe in the 2nd coming of Jesus

what I do, is take a blank sheet of paper and fill it full of my blessings. I went over my head, fresh air to breathe, fresh water to drink.

As a mother to a three year old and an eight month old whose partner is still working six days a week, I can tell you that motherhood was certainly not meant to be done in isolation. This shit is rough.

We are seeing the rise of narcissists/toxic people alot these days. Never ever apologise to toxic people who has manipulated you to think you’re wrong, while they are always right. Never apologise for being true to you. If you do apologise to toxic people & promise them you won’t repeat things that makes you good but will offend them, you’re doing a disservice to yourself. Your apologies will be taken for granted & as a permission for toxic people to bully you further to their will. You apologising to toxic people means contracting your true self-worth to please those who don’t appreciate you anyway.
Your emotions & life will do way better to apologise to the right people in your life who loves you for who you are faults, strengths & all.

I got slapped in the face and pointed at by my girl bully. It was 3 years ago and I regret not reporting her. It took 3 years for me to speak to friend’s about it. It still makes me sad and I think about it most hours every day. I feel embarrassed and sad and has left my mental health in a bad state but I’m working to get myself and my confidence back to being good again,mental health is so important so don’t bully and be kind!

I’ve been so numb for the past couple of weeks now. Everything i was looking forward to was canceled or delayed till next year, which feels like it’ll never come because of the unbearable redundancy, I can’t get a balance between school and home life, the list goes on. I just feel like doing nothing but sleeping even though I’m not tired and I hate it. This year is just a mess.
I don’t know if others feel this way, but I feel that having a roof over my head and having my health is what makes most of us privileged. I wish there was less complaining and more self-reflection. Personally, for my mental health I’m keeping a journal of sorts; just dumping my random thoughts, doodles and future goals/plans. I hope this was helpful for someone!
I live alone in a small flat I think I had the corona virus last week it was terrible and I’ve been stuck in my flat for 23 days I keep having this really weird experience of extreme laughing and crying at the same and I am so so exhausted….
